Volveremos.
We first went to this restaurant for lunch three summers ago, on a rainy Saturday in July, and Alex was kind enough to make room for us on the terrace. Since then, we've been here on every trip to the area. Honestly, we can't recommend many dishes, but that's because we always go straight for any grilled fish: sea bream, sea bream, bonito belly (if you're lucky enough to get it), and, of course, sardines. All spectacular 😋 This past weekend we went twice, once as a couple and the other time with some family members who ordered entrecote, also grilled, which was fabulous. Thanks to the grilled fish and the warm service we received from Alex and his entire team from the first day we walked through the door, we will continue to return to this restaurant. Congratulations and keep it up!! Greetings from Valladolid 😃
We left delighted. Last year we were eager to come, but this year they managed to squeeze us in, especially on the terrace, so I recommend making a reservation because they're always packed. The service was spectacular, everyone was very attentive, and the service was very fast. We ordered grilled octopus and a medium-rare entrecote, and well, the photos speak for themselves. We ordered everything to share and didn't leave hungry. It was definitely a great experience, and to finish, we had a delicious rice pudding ball. We will definitely be back.
Staff were so kind. They went extra mile to help us with menu, especially as our kids had food allergies. Rabitas de conchitas, psdron peppers, croquettes, grilled fish and chocolate fondant all stunning
I'd give it some more stars if I could! Really lovely setting, fabulous fresh food and delightful, professional service. 100% recommend and we'll be going back.
Good food and good place to go. Can be busy at lunch time.
Very good food and nice Service
Friendly staff and delicious food and wine
Quality food and very friendly staff in a great location with a nice view of Santander. Really good experience.
Excellent.
I was torn between ordering turbot or turbot, and I opted for the turbot. It was a great choice: this fish has so much meat! It's so worth it, and it's more likely to be wild. A spectacular dish, and one I would definitely order again. We also tried the baby squid rings, which were very good; the meatballs with tomato sauce for my daughter, very appropriate since they don't have a children's menu; and the Galician-style octopus, which was decent but quite pricey. The service was what we liked the least: they took a long time to serve us, we had to complain, and the service was somewhat dry and distant. You could tell they weren't locals, which detracts from the sense of closeness one expects at a family-run steakhouse. A curious detail: they place a float at the entrance to indicate that no more people can enter without a reservation. It's very popular, so it's best to book in advance. At least here they answer the phone (unlike others like Tronky, where I called countless times without success all summer). The prices are high, and I recommend booking inside instead of the terrace, since outside you only have views of a busy road. In short: very good product, service could be better, and high prices. It's worth it for the fish.
Really good if you like fish
Staff a little unhelpfully and the shef busy cooking for his girlfriend the drink prices are very excessive the toilet is shamefully opening into the bar !!! It's only good points is that to watch the sun go down from there is magical but they seem to think they can survive because of this!!
Poor food, very bad service
a normal taste with average level, but sea food is expansive for that environment, and service is really bad
