Yichiban Buffet are adding an additional fee called "adjustment" without advising the customer. When questioned, the young boy running the cashier said, he didnt know, and that I should ask the waistress/owner, who said it was a "service fee (tip)." She is also very rude! My concern is that they are adding this to every customer's bill. CHECK YOUR BILL BEFORE PAYING!

Be very careful and make sure you actually look at your receipt. We had 7 adults and 5 kids which 2 of those were 2 years old. So really we had 3 kids since they said 2 and under was a 2.99. They tried to charge us for 5 kids at full price plus a “9.00” adjustment. Which I have no clue where that even came from. They revised it after I said something and they added a $19.00 tip. I don’t mind paying, but don’t try to be dishonest and take advantage of a big group. Especially because before I even came to the restaurant I wrote down everyone’s ages and gave it to the host. The host is super rude and has no customer service skills. Won’t be coming back.

************************************************* I went by today to get food for me and my coworkers on lunch and what an embarrassment that I had to deal with from my co-workers. Although I assumed I went early enough and the food was fresh, to my surprise it wasn’t! I guess they are putting out food they had the day before which was very unpleasant to eat. It was tasteless, hard/stale and troubling to try and chew. My coworkers nor I will ever be going here again. Disgusting!!! I even called to return the food and was told that TO Go was final sale, I wonder why that is. What a waste of $50, I should had just gone to Salad & Go like I agreed before leaving the office. Don’t waste your money!!!

The scammed my by adding a $5 charge. We also got food poisoning from here. Thu just laughs and says "oh well" and pretends not to know what you're saying. Wendy, the waitress, doesn't wash her hands after handling dirty dishes. The police need to investigate here for fraud charges and the health inspector needs to be called for unsafe food practices.

Ok food was very minimal amd some of the sushi did not seem fresh me and my gf didnt want to touch it cause of some of them looking rotten. The food was mediocre and some of them were very dried out. I would recommend spending 40 bucks elsewhere to be honest

My brother went to this trash establishment after class. He is the kindest, most respectful person you will ever come across. Unfortunately, most of the reviews here are accurate regarding mistreatment and racism. They kicked him out after ten minutes and made him pay for his buffet before hand. I don't think these people believe in the One and True God. If they did, they would act accordingly. All I have left to say to the owners, manages and staff at this trash establishment is fear the day when you are standing before Him.

Although they have had 8 years to modify or correct the menu shown at Google maps, the current pricing is more than twice as high as shown in the menu photos. Food quality is much less than at other all you can eat buffets like King buffet on I-20 or yes buffet on 303 in Grand Prairie.

I came in looking for a specific dish and they didn’t have it. When I told the server I no longer wanted to dine in, she started speaking in either Mandarin or Cantonese and was being extremely rude. She even shooed me away with a rude hand gesture while saying something in her native tongue. To be completely honest, the lack of the dish I wanted wasn’t the dealbreaker, it was how dry and nasty the food looked. After the experience with that lady, I’m definitely never coming back to give them a chance on another day. Ironically, it’s the woman who was photographed in a previous review. She is unbelievably rude.

We had a party of 5, tips we're automatically added but on the itemized receipt it indicated suggested. I felt cheated and betrayed after all at the buffets it supposed to be up to the customers to leave tips..I will never go here again, look at what you are being charged people. Also, some untiensil were dropped to the floor and they casually picked it up and put in with the clean ones. I love to tip but let me decide it myself to be fair. Please watch what you are being billed.

This woman aka "the only waitress" was so rude and racist towards me and my best friend. We hadn't seen this lady the entire time that we sat down to eat, she approached our table and threw our check on the table and just walked away without saying anything. The next time she came back it was to collect the money. My friend put her card on the check and was going to cover the tab, when the lady looked at me and held her hand out rushing for my card. I said "okay..." and also put my card on top of my friend's. Both of our cards have chips so it triggered mine and and declined the swipe. "The waitress" came back to the table and loudly said "it's not working, it's not working" rushing for another form of payment. To which then I checked my bank app to make sure everything was okay and allowed her to try again. I've then decided to get up and walk to the front to speak to the host taking payments. "The waitress" kept coming back to the front where we were to make sure that we were actually paying and was grilling us until we left. This was her exact face the entire visit. I tried to explain to the host who was taking the payment what happened but she smirked and brushed me off. Me and my friend were extremely uncomfortable and won't be coming back. The food was decent but not worth the price or the treatment that we received.

Why didn't I read the reviews before entering this place???? Worst buffet in the whole DFW area, no wonder why it was totally empty. Food is HORRIBLE and not fresh, I got stomach sick, options are extremely limited. To top it all they charged my card with a tip without my authorization after I left cash on the table, cash they didn't even deserve. I ended paying $75 for two adults and two kids (1 and 4 years old who barely touch that gross food), and the host said that if I didn't buy drinks for the kids I wasn't eligible for refills, shocking!!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!

DON'T GO! Old food, poor quality, barely edible! The sushi was dark in color. I wouldn't dare try that! L The server was offended that I wouldn't eat some of the food that I had selected. It was inedible! After removing the plate of food from my table, she took it up to the cashier to show it to her. She spoke aggressively in Chinese while pointing at me. HOW RUDE! I'll never go back! For almost $20 for this disgusting buffet, GO TO JAPAN HOUSE IR SUSHI SOHO! At least their food is all made to order & for only $22 for lunch they both beat this place BY FAR!

The food wasn't fresh at all! Had to have been sitting there on 'warm' for hours. Bread rolls, fries hard as a rock. The meat was chewy. After getting the first plate waited for some minutes to see if they would bring fresh food they never did. The server kept reaching over my food when she brought the drinks. When she brought the refills it was in btn her mopping the floor and she didn't even wash her hands. They started mopping the floor about 8:30p and closing was until 10p. We were there about a little over an hour never saw them bring any fresh food out. Towards the end saw them packing the food real good like they were going to reserve it the next day. I don't eat out often or buy fast food much trying to eat healthier but on the occasion that I do I try to make it worth it. It wasn't. Don't do it. I had never been to this particular buffet place neither am I going back or recommending it to anyone. I have been to a few Asian buffet's this place a bad experience.

Terrible!!! Couldn’t be worse than this!. My kid was sitting on high chair in the red lined area. Long story short. The waitress I think her name was Wendy and the management took away his high chair and said he cannot sit there because he makes mess!! Excuse me?? I have never seen this in any other restaurants before! I usually leave very high amount tips on my check because the people have to clean up after my kid but this time and this restaurant customer service counts zero!!. Finally they charged my one and half year old kid as an adult then I asked to correct, they did but added 15% tip automatically to my check while insulted us and the kid!!. Never ever come to this place. They are rude and rip off!!. I have an extremely bad experience and dont recommend anyone around mid cities suburb to go there for dine in with many more better places to go since they are not family friendly!
