I met friends who had finished dim sum and first time for me at 2:30pm started karaoke and share a few bottles of wine and had dinner at 7pm again drink and sang till 10pm, atmosphere is comfortable and food was excellent, parking convenient definitely will be back.
I come here every time I visit New York. I hope it doesn't go out of business.
My daughter and her husband celebrated their Tea Ceremony last Saturday. The food was amazing and prepared to perfection. The staff didnt miss a beat during the 12 courses.
Went there for dimsum on a Saturday morning. The food was delicious, not too salty and less oily than I'm used to for dimsum. It was all authentic Cantonese dimsum foods and they even had cart service! Most notable thing was the incredible service from the waitstaff. This was the best service I've ever gotten at a Chinese restaurant. I will definitely be coming back! This restaurant is new and I'm wishing the best for them.
This is a hidden gem because it’s a little far from Flushing central location but its Chinese foods tastes as good as Michelin 3 stars in Manhattan if it’s not better! I went to a friend’s marriage ceremony and enjoyed the 10 dishes gourmet banquet which consists mostly of expensive seafoods. Will find another chance to visit this place again!
The food here was incredible! We had the ging do gwut (sweet and sour pork) which was perfectly tangy, sour, and sweet. The pork was also perfectly cooked, with a satisfying crunch. We also had two dim sum staples - har gow (crystal shrimp dumplings) and har cherng fun (rice crepes with shrimp). Both were delectable - exactly what you want from dim sum. Finally, we had some yummy soft shell crab fried rice. Every bite was savory, flavor-packed, and also texturally interesting (soft and crunchy bits). Would definitely recommend coming here!
Great for bringing in laws who aren’t familiar with dim sum or banquet restaurants. Plenty of space and multi generational Chinese families just having a good time on a Saturday. Delicate and well executed dim sum. This photo just shows some of the baked pastries. The roast pork pastry was really good. As was the steamed scallop dumpling.
Very delicious food with lots of varieties to choose from. I usually order Herbal Chicken Feet to see if the dim sum place did its work, and the one I got here was delicious. The flavor totally went in and it’s soft enough for me to eat, but not to the point that I can’t enjoy the chew part. The place is big and the decorations is luxury. It’s totally good for wedding or big event. The staffs there are very friendly and were nice to kids as well. Would totally come visit again.
Was here earlier , fresh hot dimsum, reasonable price. Definitely will come again.
Good and tasty food, friendly service, fair and good value prices
Great place with indoor parking. Spacious seating. Definitely recommended
This is a premiere HK style dim-sum restaurant, but their price is pretty modest. Highly recommend it if you like Cantonese food.
The lobster is very good fried rice is good very good for parties, you can see some shows. The parking is very nice there is a cat
had a great first dining experience here. Their food was amazing and services are awesome. Would definitely came back!
Very welcoming. Great for large events. There is limited parking garage , but nearby local parking is not a big inconvenience.
Dim sum was fresh and tasty for a good price, staff were also very courteous!!
Was there for dimsum. Great atmosphere. Good price. Not overcrowded. Free parking👍
Came for dim sum one morning, and then came back for reception banquet dinner with family on another day. Excellent Cantonese style food. Dim sum was great. Tons of options for whatever you like. Banquet dinner was well prepared and well executed with friendly and attentive staff. Parking garage on first floor made it very convenient and easy to access.
No need to fight the Flushing crowds if you want good dim sum. It’s not in the center of downtown Flushing so you may want to drive. Especially because they have free indoor parking. Beautiful restaurant with great service. They are famous for the fried sticky rice soft crab dish. So delicious 😋 Don’t forget to bring cash to tip the parking attendant.
We came here after a funeral service. The mood was somber understandably, but the food and service was very good. Authentic Cantonese cuisine, yummy Cantonese Lobster, Chicken was tender and juicy, Shrimp was succulent and plentiful, soup was tasty, jelly fish like cold appetizer was a good start and the fried rice was good. Orange as dessert was sweet. Overall a great dinner and I hear the dim sum is also good.
I’ve been to this restaurant for both dim sum and dinner and it’s well worth it. Very reasonably priced for delicious Chinese seafood dinner. For dinner, I recommend the sticky rice with any combination of seafood, efu noodles and the clay pot. Dim sum dishes are varied and delicious and carts come around often. Love that the restaurant is spacious and there is cheap parking in the garage below the restaurant.
Nice atmosphere and decoration. Good food and service. Have one big and one smaller dining room. Several private party rooms in various sizes available. Both dining rooms have stages for big party. Grand staircase for pictures.
A very nice place for a banquet. Food was tasty. Service was good. The place was huge, clean, and well maintained. The only downside was the cigarette smokers right outside the restaurant, but that seemed to be everywhere in Flushing...
Always great service and good selection of food here for both dim sum and dinner :) private rooms are great and the karaoke machines have a pretty wide selection of songs. garage parking is super convenient and the garage kitty is a cutie
This is one of the OG places in Flushing for get dim sum over 10 years ago. Been closed for a while and now it is finally back! They have a parking lot inside so it’s definitely more convenient than Main Street flushing. Dim sum is good and service is good.
It was pretty spacious inside. Staff was really attentive. Ordered the standard fair of dim sum. All were pretty good and the shrimp was super fresh. The star of the show was something called the Hai Wang Jiao, which should translate to The Dumpling of The King of The Oceans. It's got some scallop and some other stuff that I forgot. Some sauce and some egg roe on top. Delicious. Lol. We ordered a few for the table and took a few orders to go for other friends. Loollll. Definitely recommend trying. And apparently this place has parking. I don't need it as I live a block and a half away, but I'm sure that's something nice for people to have if you don't live close by. Lol
Came during slower hours so dimsum weren't as good as busy hours. Selection was limited I seemed. But! However! Although! They have parking below and it's very convenient off the highway! Will come again!
The decor is so beautiful. The Dim Sum is fresh and tasty. However the other dishes are just fine. The service is friendly.
We went there around 2:30pm so it’s late to have dim sum, so we chose lunch special instead. It’s very tasty and the price is good especially on weekend. Highly recommended.
Spacious, clean and neat. With indoor parking. Waitors were helpful. Dim sum we ordered were delicious. Prices were reasonable.
TGIF! yay Friday! food is pretty good here! I recommend these dishes! Great for sharing so come hungry! Fish Maw Soup with Crabmeat Hot & Spicy Jelly Fish Head Lamb Chop Onion Garlic Pork Chop Peking Style Prawns with Walnuts and Broccoli Snow Pea Sprout and Chop Garlic They’ll finish the meal up with some free red bean sago pearls and fruits!
Had my mom's 70th bday party here and I couldn't have picked a better place. The food was so good. Cantonese Style and we ordered banquet type food. The service was superb. Our servers were very courteous and made sure that we had everything that we needed and they were prompt in getting us things before we even requested for it. They also have private rooms if you want to have like 1-3 tables. Those rooms have karaoke. I've been there for their dim sum also and that was good. Love that they have an elevator and parking. Have to consider the elderly in my family.
We visited Flushing for all day treats and give Crown One which was recommended by friends a try. The decor is brilliant and wide-spaced with plenty of seating. Crown One served their dim sum by cart which is so authentic and interesting. The quality of food was overall okay with reasonable price.
Traditional dim sum place with carts and lots of food. They had a great variety and came around pretty often. Carts were often replenished with different dishes where the servers would come back 5 minutes later and had completely different options to choose from. We went on a Saturday around noon. Almost every table was filled. Pork buns and spring rolls were my favorites. The pork buns especially were buttery and filled with delicious pork. We also had stuffed eggplant, shrimp dumplings, beef dumplings, and more. While the food was good, it was under seasoned. I would definitely give this place another chance!
Food was good. My noodles was very hard and crunchy bit everything else I enjoyed.
Convenient valet parking, clean elevator, nice restroom, good food with kind service people.
ordered softshell friend rice. it was very good, so crunchy flakes mixed in it. good flavor! 👍
Good food and service. While this is my first time being there, I found the place very spacious. Ideal place for large to medium size gatherings. Minutes away from the local train. Parking available behind the business establishment.
Good location and room, but front desk staff need more training on customer services
Good food, however it’s hard to find the parking even they have parking underneath the place. The event I when was about 500people
such spectacular hall w theater feeling .high ceiling.however not enough mbp to stream the world cup final .always c circle. there is a parking
Had an amazing feast for Lunar New year. Suckling pig, Conch and fried milk, pumpkin and taro stew were highlights
Very spacious. Food tastes good. A special dish to recommend is Lobster Sticky Rice.
Beautiful decor, friendly service , delicious dimsum with lots of choices.
Decoration is very impressive. Dim sum is average. Service is quick.
A delightful if a bit crowded. However the food is copious and sublime, service efficient and pleasant.
This Chinese restaurant was converted from a dance and Spanish food palace. Now the Crown One was the second Chinese restaurant in the same location. They are serving dim sim (small snacks) during the lunch hours.....of course we can have a banquet. The dim sims are very ordinary small dishes which I mean no new adventures at all. Parking lot is big enough for about 40-50 cars. Only velvet parking, guys are polite and park cars with caution. The restaurant is adding 18 percent on top of invoice plus tax as their service tips.
Pleasantly surprised with this place. Although they have a C rating, their food was extremely tasty, flavorful n not oily. Chicken n mushrooms, pan seared fish n snow pea stems were enough to feed 4 adults. It's part of a strip mall with some parking. Been there 3 times n will be back again.
It's really difficult to find Cantonese food in NY. This restaurant is huge, big, clean, and more comfortable. Easy to get table and the foods is good 👍 usually Chinese restaurant is very noisy and service is no good but Crown One is different. We all enjoy the food and are very relaxed
Came here twice for dimsum and it’s a very solid choice especially for a location just outside of Flushing. They do have carts roaming around and lunch service starting at 11AM. The churng fun is smooth and the baos are warm and soft. It does get busy and a little crowded around 11AM but the turn around time is relatively fast. They also have a lot of large tables to accommodate families.
Fresh hot delicious dimsum. Dinners here is good too. Available parking inside. For dim sum, make sure you get there early or the spots run out. Parking on the street is rarely available given the amount of apt buildings in the area.
It's a good place for dim sum. As parking could be difficult in this part of the town, the underground parking lot helps a lot. We reserved a private room for a family gathering. Usually, we'd see staff pushes the carts around with food on it, but since we were sitting in a private room, we just ordered off their menus. The food tasted great. We ordered the typical dim sum dishes and they were authentic. Not to mention the tea they served us was good. Nothing like the cheap-tasting teas they serve in the other places. One good thing about our private rooms is it comes with our own private KTV machine. The song selection was great because I can actually find songs I can relate to from years ago, which is great.
We went for a wedding banquet. Tables were small and crowded together. Dishes were so so with no surprise. Disappointed to find the dancing pool being so small. Parking were very limited and only available for the very early birds.
Convenient parking is about the only plus. Not very clean, limited selection, very average food, not great quality.
Crown One Cheats on Deep Fried Sole which is not sole. Fish is fileted, carcass is deep fried. 1/4 of the flesh is placed on the carcass with some vegetables. A total Ripoff for $38.
Decent traditional Chinese food, but very shaky service for large groups. I've come here for two family events with the 10 course style. Both times, my party waited for a full hour for the first dish to be served. Once the first dish was on the table, the waiters then proceeded to quickly bring two to three more dishes out. So we were rushed in eating as fast as we could, to clear space for the next group of randomly timed dishes. It made for a very rough dining experience, both times. Also, no changing table available in any of the bathrooms.
Been several times for larger events and food is always solid. On par or even better than Lake Pavillion near Queens College. The staff, however, is a bit rude and clearly don’t actually care that you’re there. One of the server staff pushed a friend of mine to make room for themselves as they brought food to the table. Never experienced anything like this in my life and have grown up in flushing and visited almost every restaurant there is in the area. Poor service, could be better.
Mediocre dimsum with interesting decor. The dinner/menu food might be better, but the dimsum is on the mediocre side. I've had better dimsum in Flushing, and this was not one of them.
Parking availability appears to be limited, resulting in a queue and potential frustration among other drivers.
Location is very far from downtown flushing, food is average
Lived in flushing for 12 years and decided to try this place because it was next to my gym. I usually come here for events and large family gatherings but this time i just came here for a quick bite before food shopping nearby. In 35 minutes, the same fried cart and congee cart came twice to our table and nobody else. I wanted the traditional dim sums like ha gao and shumai. That cart finally came around when 2 tables next to me filled with americans but just skipped right passed my friend and i and went into the vip room. I went to go grab the food from her but she yelled at me and told me to wait. By the time she got to my table i already filled up on fried food and paid for the check. Fried shrimp roll and fried spring rolls were great. 3 stars for the food because i cant really judge anything else.
The taste of dimsum wasn’t good. We ordered 6 dishes of dimsum, none of them tasted good.
I’m attending a wedding and there is a server named Danny who has a very bad attitude and shows no respect to the guests. I had a terrible experience being served by him. I hope the manager will speak with him so that future guests can have a better service experience.
Atmosphere was dead. Service was horrible. They gave us a rice that was overnight and expired then wouldn’t admit it and said they made the rice with vinegar. It smelled horrible and we never got an apology for it and my whole family ate it. This was a post dinner for my grandma’s funeral. Wouldn’t recommend!
Food was decent. The “free” valet parking is not free. In fact it’s actually an extortion of must tip according to their tip chart. Avoid this place if you’re driving or if you have family driving in. Other Chinese restaurants have actual free parking and I don’t mind tipping but if you’re telling me there’s a minimum of a tip, which is optional that tells me your business is trash. Will not be going back to this trash place again.
The food is okay here, I went for party here but seems they lack of staff today, no one getting us new plates after having meal for 2 hours. The most unsatisfying thing is they force charging us $5 tips for parking lot. If you force charging, then that’s not tips anymore, it’s parking fee 硬性收$5停车小费简直霸王条款
Food not good at all out of 10 dishes only the jellyfish dish was good
The kitchen is very dirty, there are cockroaches and rats, the restaurant is rated below C, and the service is very poor. The parking lot not free ! requires tipping and the attitude is very bad
Worse service ever, my family went there on Chinese new year, waited 2 hours for the food, the manager came and tell me they lost my order, no apologize what so ever, when the food finally there isn’t the same menu as I ordered. Very poor management, by the time I was paying, they added 18% tips to my bill. With that service I wasn’t going to tip them.
Not recommended. Do yourself a favor, walk a couple blocks to the Main Street and pick any restaurants, will be better food than this. This place is for wedding banquets.
The first time I went there for dinner, it took about two hours from 7 o'clock to 9 o'clock. The mandatory parking fee was five yuan, so I took the car lock and asked me to get the car myself.
They force you to pay parking tip for $5. They will not give you the key unless you pay the tip
The food is so so, but mandatory for tip is disgusting, they charge 18% tip on total amount including tax. Unreasonable!
Just got home from a wedding there on 9/1/2024. Waiters and Waitress were not attentive at all. Had to ask for water and ice several times before you got it. Want water or ice refill, it'll take twice as long. Beers were soak in 90% water and 10% ice. There were barely any food or water serve. From 6:00 to 11:00 there was 3 dish serve. There were no menu for the wedding. However, I’m sure they didn’t order 3 dishes (Cheesy lobster, abalone, plain lo mein) What happen to the rest of the food? Orange, Peanuts, thinly sliced cucumber, and wasabi for the first 3 hours. The cucumber were about ~1 oz. An infant wouldn’t get full off of that let alone a table of 10 adults. What am I eating with wasabi? Where’s the soy sauce to go with the wasabi? Had my hope up thinking sushi would be serve in a Chinese restaurant!
I went to this restaurant for the first time on 2/26/24. I drove an EV and told the parking attendant that I don't have a key for valet parking and asked if I can park the car myself (cell phone was my key to operate the car). He told me that I have to go find street parking and I cannot self park. I went and talked to the manager on the floor and was told that there is nothing he could do about that. It doesn't matter how good/bad the food or decoration is, I will bring my business elsewhere with this level of customer service. If any management personnel care to read this review, a simple acommodation goes a long way.
The exterior of the restaurant was nice, however the cleanliness of the food was very bad. Went out to eat with a group of friends but all end up having diarrhea for 3 days. Seafood tasted weird, wouldn’t recommend.
