We recently visited the Corky’s Kitchen & Bakery on Sierra Avenue in Fontana, and this branch definitely deserves a special mention. The restaurant is nicely decorated, bright, and very clean, giving off a comfortable and homely vibe the moment you walk in. Everything feels well-organized — from the seating arrangement to how quickly the tables are cleaned and prepared for the next guests. The staff were courteous, attentive, and well-mannered, which really added to the overall experience. They checked in just the right number of times and made sure we had everything we needed. You can tell that this particular branch values good service. The food was excellent, and I must say, this location stands out compared to other Corky’s branches I’ve tried. The flavors were spot-on, the portions generous, and everything came out fresh and hot. They have a large selection of brunch options, from classic breakfast plates to hearty lunch specials, making it easy for everyone at the table to find something they like. The pancakes were fluffy, the omelets well-cooked, and even the sides tasted better than average diner fare. Another big plus is parking — plenty of it and completely free. The lot is spacious, so even on weekends or busy mornings, you won’t have to drive around looking for a spot. Overall, this Corky’s is a clean, welcoming place with great food, friendly staff, and a relaxed atmosphere. Visited on a Thursday afternoon, not very busy at all so I was seated and helped right away. I was craving french toast and noticed they had another choice for cinnamon swirl, I didn't see the point in ordering the cinnamon swirl for $2 more so I stuck with the french toast combo that includes eggs and your choice of bacon or sausage. It's good to know you have an option about the french toast as I know some people can be allergic to cinnamon. I added a side of home fries and made it more Potatoes O'Brien style adding grilled onions and peppers. The food fills you up quick with their big portions. I was a bit disappointed with the upkeep of the bathroom, the sink faucet handle needs fixing and for as slow as they were the bathroom should have been cleaner around the urinal which is why I'm knocking them down a star. Other than that it's a great place to get your chow on.

Our waitress was fantastic and super friendly (i can't remember her name...my greatest weakness haha) We had the triple decker, open roast beef sandwich and the messina burger. All cooked/prepared perfectly and tasted delicious. I wasnt a big fan of the herbed mashed potatoes that came with the open face sandwich though (just personal preference). We also purchased some cookies to go and they were DELICIOUS!!

Food, sooo plain, we got sirloin breakfast and pancakes, everything so unsavory sadly, eggs not flavor at all, hash browns plain no flavor, pancakes so-so, meat too hard, I think the only savable thing was the biscuit and gravy and I don’t like biscuits and gravy and that was the thing that tasted better in all my food 😹 It wasn’t bad bad, but just no flavor, no seasoning, maybe this is a place for older people so they can personalize their food by themselves, I don’t know. Sadly I’m not coming back, I had high expectations, so disappointed. Also, prices are high for the food that is not even good.

This is the Corky’s I frequent the most and 9 times out of 10 it’s excellent all around. Unfortunately most recently I had a horrible experience. I arrived at 9:20pm, 10 minutes prior to closing at 9:30pm in the hope of grabbing a pie to go. As I exited my vehicle one of the servers rushed to lock the door right in front of my face. I knocked on the glass hoping to get his attention to let him know all I wanted was dessert to go. He completely ignored me. As a former service worker I understand wanting to close out and end a shift in a timely manner. My timing wasn’t great but I factored in that all I wanted was a dessert that is already prepared and getting it to go so as to not inconvenience the staff. At the very least look me in the eye and tell me you’re closed even there were 10 minutes left. May have to find another location to take my business to.

Originally had 3 stars for the reasons listed under "prices" but after finally getting home and eating my sandwhich, it was the saddest piece of s that ive ever had. Taking down to 1. Chicken breast was beyond dry, thinner than my wifes eyeliner and taste was left behind. They dont even toast the bread, which makes the bottom super soggy and disgusting. I miss having a cocos near by, bread always toasted, flavor, portion, and prices were on point. Corkys uses shredded lettuce so for sure has even less lettuce than a regular lettuce leaf. The sweet girl at the front was awesome and correctly placed my order (per receipt) for my 3 sides (onion straws, steak fries, and potato salad). Cooks couldnt even get that right and i got 2 steak friea and 1 onion straw, missed my potato salad. PRICES- it's Corkys lol paid over $60 for 3 sandwhiches. Yo can go to almost any other restaurant and save money for the same services. Foods nothing special. Go to BJs crazy to think that a burger or sandwhich is cheaper there, more delicious, and better atmosphere. Crack a barrel cheaper and food is just as good. Won't be back. Good old corporate greed at its fullest. It's a sandwhich for God's sake not even a signature entree. Still trying to figure out how 2 pieces of cold bread (1 soggy bun), 1 chicken breast (dry and thin), 2 tomatoes slices, some lettuce go for that much, can't even blame inflation on this one.

Horrible experience on the weekend. Don't waste your time waiting or being seated. Got served an uncarbonated soda, food not cooked right and raw and recooked the same thing and was brought back to us. The manager was good at saying "I'm so sorry" that seemed to be all that they were good at doing. Don't spend your time, money at this restaurant. Won't be returning

Food quality is terrible! Potatoes tasted like they were made yesterday and heated in the microwave and the chicken was tough. I thought I was chewing plastic! I usually go to their other locations and the waffle is pretty big but here you get the mini waffle but not the mini price. Not coming to this location again!
