Forgot to take a photo of my dinner steak and chicken hibachi but it was really good! The crab rangoon was delicious! And the lychee martini hits the spot!
They served some of the best sushi I've ever had.
Food was amazing! The waitress, not so much. Once she delivered our drinks and appetizers, she never came back....
While not my first time here, probably my fifth, it never fails to impress. My wife and I had just experienced terrible food at the Koiyama across the street and, craving quality asian food, came here. Their Hibachi experience is always a blast and their sushi is always quick to come out and fresh. My wife ordered the Oyakodon and it was rich, warm, and exactly the dish you'd want to have with the rainy weather.
The first time to ever go and try a hibachi grill. The place was definitely worth it.The only thing I was not aware is that you do get seated with other people. Overall, the price you pay for a person really depends on what you get. As we had tried several things. The last plate that shows my steak and shrimp is what I still had left after eating for almost 5 min straight. Of course we had appetizers, but I wasn't full so I ate.. meaning you get your money's worth. Overall, it was a great place to try. As I mentioned, this is a hibachi grill, but it also has another section where you get seated that is not part of the hibachi. If you're also looking to enjoy a good drink, they had a wide variety.
We hadn't been there in a few yrs. Today it was outstanding in every way. Our server, Ram, was awesome and attentive to our needs. Ask for him when you go. We had so many dishes to try. They were fresh and we'll prepared. I'll name the ones I can remember. (We did bring some food home because we got so much). There were miso and onion soups, deep fried soft shell crab, sashimi salad, soba noodles with vegetables and seafood, hibachi scallops, tempura shrimp and veggies, steamed endamame, some sort of delicious fried ball, fried banana with honey and vanilla ice cream and one other app I can't remember. I forgot to take pix of that app. We had Lucky Budda beer and Sapporo on draft. You can't go wrong here.
Tokyo Harbor is hands-down my favorite sushi and hibachi spot in Forney ! The sushi is unbelievably fresh — you can truly taste the quality in every bite. The rolls are perfectly crafted, flavorful, and never rubbery or fishy like some places. The hibachi is always fun, delicious, and cooked to perfection, and the staff is friendly, welcoming, and attentive. Every visit feels like a great dining experience. If you’re looking for fresh, top-tier sushi and great vibes, Tokyo Harbor is the place
I hired Tokyo Harbor to cater for my buisness’ annual holiday party this past weekend. We had fried rice, vegetables, shrimp, steak and salad. Everyone raved about how good the food was and ate everything! The owner was so nice and professional when I came in to place the order the week prior, and had the food ready exactly when she said she would. She even helped carry the food out to my car. They gave excellent service and the food was fresh and delicious! I will definitely be back and use them again for catering in the future!
We love eating here in-person, because its usually not packed, and its a quiet spot. We also love doing takeout, but unfortunately have not had the best service when picking up our takeout. Hibachi steak is delicious, but had to send it back once. Other than that, the food is wonderful and we always leave stuffed.
We came last night for dinner and there was a 5 min wait, it was busy. The host was friendly and attentive. Addie was our server who was quick and very nice. She got our drinks and appetizers even though it was busy with the dinner rush, she was helpful. The cook for our hibachi was so nice, and the food so delicious! I will definitely be coming back.
Our server Abe and chef Z were great. I usually come and am annoyed by something but on this Friday night, I was able to park at the front of the building and be seated immediately. Our chef Z came shortly after with a great presentation. Service was exceptional. The food was phenomenal (huge portion) and I’m greatly satisfied. 10/10
Good food, friendly staff and such a vibe. We sat at the sushi bar and ordered fried rice and some rolls, it was yummmm. The bacon wrapped shrimp was outta the world 😋 It was my husband’s birthday and he got a nice surprise with icecream on the house with a candle and dragon head masks, we literally danced with those. It was so much fun. Definitely such a cool place to celebrate birthdays.
First time visit--Placed a to go order and was not enthused. As I opened the bag (food items were neatly placed; however, condiments- teriyaki & ginger sauces I paid extra for were spilled in the sack), ugh. Per the menu, a side of fried rice is to include (egg, carrots & onions) but didn't, bummer. Moving on, side of vegetables: not fresh! Sauce was a bit watery & carrots had an unusual taste- did not eat it. Cucumber n avocado rolls were okay.
When there on Monday for sushi for the 1st time. We ordered the specialty rolls which were kinda pricey for just two roll and the presentation wasn't to par. I will try their hibachi next time because you could see people enjoying themselves while we were there. Loved that they had beers on tap.
We were seated fairly quickly, but it took quite a while before anyone came to take our order. When service did begin, it felt rushed, like they were trying to move us along. We ordered the beef ribs appetizer, teriyaki chicken, and beef lo mein. The soup and salad came first, but I had to wait quite a while to eat my salad because no silverware was provided. Our entrées arrived before the appetizer, which came a few minutes later the timing felt completely off. The food itself was disappointing. The teriyaki chicken tasted like plain grilled chicken with sauce poured on top it wasn’t flavorful and even tasted a bit old. The beef lo mein sauce was also lacking; something was just missing. Overall, the visit felt cold from the service to the food to the overall atmosphere. I really wanted to like this place, but it just didn’t deliver the warmth or quality I expected.
*Pictures are from Plano locations, Forney is not as good* The Plano location is just better. Gave the Forney location 2 chances and never made it past the rice. In Plano, you can eat a plate full of rice by itself it’s so good. But this location is bland. It lacks flavor, sauce, butter…next time you visit look at your fried rice and compare it to the picture I’ve posted. The second time, I gave the waitress a heads up about our first experience. The chef got to it and when I saw the rice would be bland (again, not even brown) for more salt, pepper, butter, and sauce to be added to mine, he had the waitress bring me salt and pepper 😂😂 We are at Hibachi, absolutely not. I will not add more to my food when it’s capable of being done before reaching my plate. We have visited the Plano location at least 1x/month the past 2 years. They hit it right on the money every time. If you can’t get the rice right, you won’t get the rest right. At the end of the day, we like what we pay for.
I've gotten food from here before with no major issues. But when you order are 12:16, get there at 12:36 and your order is ready except supposed the calamari, but then the order finally comes out at 12:57 and the calamari IS COLD, is ridiculous!!! So the cashier lied, serviced other customers who came in 10 minutes later than I did first, and it took from 12:16 when we arrived till after 1 to get a small container of Chilli oil for the other party that was with me. The fried rice and hibachi lunches are great and calamari is quite good when hot and not cold as they served me!
I been coming here for over 8 years and today the food was not good me and my Husband ordered a lunch Hiibachi chicken with a side of lobster nothing on the menu stated anything about them trenching. I’m talking about Horan teriyaki sauce all over the lobster tail. The lobster tail there were about maybe five pieces at the most that he was able to eat then they wanted to charge me almost $22 for five pieces of lobster tail these people. I don’t know if they have new management or what but since we’ve been coming here never had this issue. We’re always purchasing multiple multiple meals here because they were good at the time now it seems like their work is so sloppy. I’m sorry to say this, but I want everyone to know How this company has failed. I and my family will not be coming back here anymore. It was a disgrace and I just pretty much threw up on my food. Left a really bad taste in my mouth.
Made a reservation 5 days prior to our arrival for 9 people. When we got there they said we didn't have a reservation. I showed them the confirmation text and all of the sudden they found it. We were seated with so many other people that some in our party were facing the back of the chef. I told the wait staff we were celebrating 2 kids birthdays and hoped they would do their normal birthday song and dance but they never acknowledge them. We have been going to TH for years and it's progressively gotten worse. Seems like no one is in charge and no one to contact about service issues.
