It is very much a hidden gem in Fremont! The service was outstanding. Our waiter was very friendly and quick to take our order. Most importantly, the food was amazing. If you come here, you won't be disappointed!

This place is BOMB! I loved everything. The salsas are great and the food is hella good. I’ve been searching for good Mexican food in Fremont, but have yet to find anything worthwhile, until I stepped into Salsa Picante! The atmosphere is culturally perfect and it was as clean as a whistle. Hands down to Jessica who took care of us. She has top notch customer service. We will go back again and again. After trying one of their chicken tamales we ordered 2 doz for Christmas. They were delicious. We shared some with our family and they felt they were very good. We've also eaten their chicken enchilada plate, fish burrito & super nachos. Their staff is nice & professional & their foid very favorable. I'd definitely recommend eating there.

Mostly have ordered my stuff to go, but it's a pleasant little restaurant. Good service every time, not too long of a wait, and really delicious. They have this really nice orange, hot sauce that gives a nice kick too

Food tastes awesome, and the burritos here are pretty large. Service is fantastic. It can get a little loud sometimes and its a little dark, but I think that's just because my eyes need bright lights where ever I go. This place is definitely worth trying.

Food tastes awesome, and the burritos here are pretty large. Service is fantastic. It can get a little loud sometimes and its a little dark, but I think that's just because my eyes need bright lights where ever I go. This place is definitely worth trying.

Loved the Salsa here! The red salsa was the hot version and was full of spices. Honestly wasn't super hot just really good. The green was mild but still as equally amazing. I couldn't stop eating the complementary chips. Ordered the fajitas ( chicken, steak,shrimp) everything was fresh and tasteful. Very Satisfying dinner.

Authentic Mexican food. Good customer service. They have small kids play area too. I would definitely visit them again to try different items on their menu.

Burritos are really good here.. have had a few things off the menu and all have been good. When in town I go here for lunch...quick, easy and service is good.

The service was good, but the food was terrible. The margaritas tasted like straight margarita mix. The calamari was overcooked. The carne asada was too dry and crispy. The al pastor was bland. The guacamole was runny and gross. The sour cream tasted like it was watered down. Our meal was just disappointment entirely. I told the waiter all of this, and he gave me 10% off, which I don't feel like was enough, since we barely touched our food. He took back about 85% of what he brought us. It was very confusing, considering they have a good rating on Google. However, we were the only ones there the whole time, so maybe locals already know to avoid this place. I definitely do not recommend this place unless they drastically improve their quality.
