Super tasty 😋 Mexican food! They have consistent quality Mexican food. I come all the way from Sanger because this place is the best. I wish they had longer hours 😪. You have to catch the Tuesday-Saturday between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. They always nail it!

Fresno's shining star for Mexican food. Ordered the Carne Asada taco plate and 2 more tacos for the wife. First off, the portions are very large. The tacos come with an insane amount of meat and are very filling. Now to the flavor. STRAIGHT FIRE. The taste of the food here is too good to be true. Some unique features of the tacos are that they have guacamole salsa as well as the red salsa. The side of rice was exactly what I am looking for. Dine in and enjoy the friendly service or take out. You've gotta try this place!

I mean, it's the best Taco in Fresno. Hands down. Been searching Fresno for the best tacos for years, and can't find one that Tops LA Elegante. Simple. The staff is the best. They are kind, attentive and simply throw it down. You gotta be real Fresno just to find the place, but the best tacos in California are in Fresno.

Some of the most amazing, authentic Mexican Food you can have In Fresno, CA, Hours are short, if they were open an hour longer they would have that much more Buisness! Get there before lunch , before the locals do! Service is very fast so don't expect to wait forever if the small place is crowded! Delicious food! Well worth trying if traveling by or visiting!

If you're looking for a really good taco place with authentic Mexican flavor and great service then this is the place. Now the trick is getting here early, because it gets packed but believe me when I say this if you find a booth to sit down and order your food will get to your table fast and oh man its worth the wait. Best tacos in town by far

Honestly, the best tacos especially if you get the adobada. The Chile is flavorful and not too spicy and the tortillas are slightly fried and thick and authentic tasting

The asada anything here is the best in town. They have won the taco truck throw down for good reason multiple times. The staff gets to know you, I come every couple of months and then it still know my order. The only mark I would give them is the location. Its not in the best part of town, extra parking is available in the back but you have to walk through a small alley way. Its a very small building that they have started to renovate but it's still an on going process. It's always full, because they are so good.

This place seems to be a city favorite depending on who you ask. Decided to try it out with all the hype and it isn't as good as everyone makes it out to be in my opinion. These are some pretty pricey tacos I don't know if I would go back. Tortilla seemed to have been sitting on the grill way too long. Staff seems to run around like chickens with their heads cut off. Very small place so you will be waiting for a seat if you go around lunch time.

I finally tried La Elegante Taqueria after being recommended it years ago. I was in Fresno for a doctor’s appointment and was genuinely excited to see what the hype was about. Unfortunately, my experience ended up being really disappointing. When we walked in, the restaurant was busy, but we were not greeted at all. No one was at the register, and eventually we were only acknowledged when the cashier asked if we were eating there or not. We were told to sit down and that was it. I ordered a Squirt soda in a glass bottle. When it arrived, I immediately noticed large chunks floating in the soda. I drink Squirt often and I know what normal grapefruit residue looks like. this was not that. I politely pointed it out, and the cashier immediately dismissed it, saying all of them were like that without even bothering to look at my drink. Another employee was sent over to tell me the same thing. The cashier then said she could replace it, but kept insisting it would “look the same.” At one point, she came back carrying another Squirt, stopped at our table, held it up to show me, and said “see?” . that one clearly did not have any chunks. When I reached out to take it, she pulled it away, turned around, and walked off, leaving my hand hanging in the air without saying a word. It was extremely rude and uncomfortable. If that soda wasn’t for us, that should have been communicated. The entire interaction felt dismissive and unnecessary. Eventually, I did receive a replacement soda . and surprise, it had no chunks at all. Completely clear. So the issue was very real and not “normal.” Shortly after, our food arrived. I ordered three tacos and after one or two bites (which were actually very good), I put my taco down and noticed a long black hair in it. I am very blonde, so it clearly was not mine. At this point, I was hesitant to even say anything because of how the soda situation had already been handled. I’ve worked in food service for years and I understand mistakes happen. I let a different staff member know, and she apologized and brought the owner, who was incredibly kind and professional. She apologized sincerely and made things right. I truly want to acknowledge that the owner handled the situation with grace and care. What made it worse was that during the hair situation, the cashier continued to look over at us and made comments like “I’ll be with you guys in a bit,” while the owner ultimately had to step in anyway. On top of everything, we were seated next to a window where there was a homeless man right outside. I understand this isn’t fully within the restaurant’s control, but combined with everything else, it didn’t help the overall experience. I will be attaching a photo to this review. It’s honestly unfortunate because the food itself was good. However, the cashier’s attitude, dismissal of a legitimate concern, and the disrespectful moment of snatching the soda away left a very bad impression. One employee can completely change the experience of a business, and that was the case here. I feel bad for the owner, because she was wonderful. But based on this visit, I wouldn’t return.

Food looked good but not very flavorful. The beans plain just boiled. Rice was red and steamed not Mexican rice. The meat was ok. We got lengua and virria tacos. They put salsa on our tacos and it’s so spicy that we couldn’t finish the tacos. So that was disappointing. If I would have known it was so spicy I would’ve just asked for it on the side. The truth is I will not be coming back here. I heard all the hype but it was not to my liking.

Food is super super mid, came with salsa in a very small portion asked for more and got ignored by waitress. Kept getting brushed off by waitress, she continued to attend everybody around us except us. Place is super cramped. STINGY WITH EVERYTHING.
