THE best Mexican food in town. My favorite lunch spot. The birria is fantastic!

Everything is super really good!.. I love the Tortas and the tacos but what I'm absolutely loving right now are the Queso Tacos.. Best in Fresno IMO right now! Don't Believe give it a try!.. Also the breakfast burritos are fire!

I made a large order for a family event. My order included carnitas with cueritos(pork skin) and buche(pork belly), beans, rice and salsas. Every single item was amazing! Our family kept asking who made the food because they were super happy with it. Will definitely order here more often for all my events!

1st time here and Didn't expect the fast and friendly service. My son & I were having such a busy day that we were starving...he turned in this block passed by and made a u turn parked ,he ordered to go and hoped it was going to be good. We loved their carnitas, we'll be back to dine in.

This place rocks! The tacos are literally a dollar here and perfectly formed! Excellent customer service and overall quality fo the food! I'm planning on bringing more people here. It's like a heaven for people who wanna come by and eat or stop by and pick to go! Parking is limited because of how small the location is but always the small places that have the best food around here! Stop by and grab a couple! You wont regret it! Will be coming back soon!

My first time coming here not the cleanest in the dining area, but it might just be because it’s pretty busy. The food was really good I ordered a burrito de carnitas were delicious and it was big,the food was not dry at all and the asada was good too. Definitely a place to I would recommend. Cashier was very polite and quick waited about 7 mins tops for my food.

The service is beautiful. You order and food is brought to you. The service workers go above and beyond. They remember who you are. I forgot to order tortillas and it was given to me free of charge that day! Food is plenty breakfast is served all day. If you got that picky eater, they serve burgers fries. My favorite place....I need my birria ramen.

I absolutely love this place. I have been going here for breakfast and dinner for about 4 years now and they consistently have fast and friendly service. Their breakfast burritos are so flavorful, they don't even need the salsa but the green salsa is wonderfully tangy and the red is nice and spicy and smokey. I highly recommend the Patron so you get bacon, chorizo, and ham in one burrito. They have some of the best tortillas in Fresno. Their family meal deals are also really affordable and the Meats are always tender and juicy. I really like the carnitas and adobada. Their tacos are affordable and you can grab some taco dorados as a little snack while you wait. I like getting to watch them cook on the flat top from my seat and seeing a huge pot of chili Verde bubbling away right behind the cashier counter - it makes me feel like I'm in a family kitchen. The place is very clean and while the chairs aren't the comfiest, the paintings and bright colors make the place very cheery.

Hidden gem here in Fresno we had the chilaquiles and they where out of this world. Perfect amount of spice, meat was delicious and eggs cooked perfectly! Will be back to try more of the menu.

Food is excellent. So far I've tried the carnitas with rice and beans, menudo, and quesabirrias. All were perfect. The service is exceptional. Food gets delivered to your table and fast. Workers are very friendly and helpful.

We go there for the Best Best Best carnitas OMG the flavors are wow wow wow. however I was at my son's Dad car wash September 7 2025. I decided to get a burrito I told them what wanted on the burrito right they made faces bad attitude 2 of them they kept looking at each other,I wanted carnitas with more cuerritos,more bushes, very little beans BUT NO RICE IT MAKES MY TONGUE GET A BIT NUMB BURN A LOT. I PAID 11.00 BUT WHEN I GOT HOME I BIT MY BURRITO AND IT HAD A LOT OF RICE YES RICE A LOT BEANS,a little bit of CARNITAS AND VERY LITTLE BUSHE AND CUERRITOS I HAD TO SPIT OUT BECAUSE I GOT a taste OF THE RICE, I THINK I MIGHT BE ALLERGIC TO RICE WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT I wanted to take it back but I didn't want to be a karen.nobody wanted it 😢😢 but I still think they have the food the best carnitas ect...next time I make my own I'll just buy the carnitas and BUSHE, CUERRITOS 🤤😋

If you like carnitas, it's a must for you to visit this restaurant , the carnitas are really good 👍🏼 , I make carnitas so I am really picky when I go out and pay for them . I got the carnitas combo plate, and my wife, the two taco combo plate . They were both delicious ! They also have a variety of Mexican dishes. The atmosphere was awesome 👌🏽. I am not a dancer, but music almost had me dancing in my seat 😃 great place, great food . I will definitely be back !

If your looking for carnitas you will want to try out LA Piedad their carnitas are very delicious. I also had the tacos dorados de papa which are pictured and honestly I can't wait to return and try the menudo. Go check em out. Went again it's even better the 2nd time.

As a foodie, I love nachos I went in and ordered the super nachos with Carnitas and let me tell you something they were amazing. The service was also very helpful at the counter and I asked her what meat is the best here and she said Carnitas they did not Disappoint Very large portions and worth every dollar super nachos and a large drink was only $13 killer deal would recommend. The inside is very small, but don’t let that discourage you

The most Amazing tacos in Fresno! This Mexican restaurants know tacos wow. The tripas taco were incredible. They have carnitas, al postor, Carne asada, every meat you can think of, sopes, birra ramen, burritos. The quesabirras were awesome. They serve breakfast lunch in dinner. The red menudo look really good. I highly recommend this place!

This is a great little restaurant on a strip of others similar to it, but La Piedad beats all of them! My husband loves their chilaquiles with chile verde, and I can't get enough of the sopes. Small place, but very friendly/family vibes. They always have someone cleaning as soon as a person leaves their table, so never a crumb on the floor. The employees all wear masks 😷 and have a sign up in the restroom saying "all employees must practice Covid19 regulations." I would recommend this place to everyone I know! 😊

Place is good, Chilaqiles weren't what I expected made with green sauce instead of red but still good.

The food has really good flavor here they have several men working the kitchen and it is a newer restaurant in calwa. It is a little bit pricier than the other Mexican restaurants around but like I said it will not disappoint you because it has good taste. This seasoning was great the burritos were great and and they have my favorite hot sauce it's an oil chili sauce that not all Mexican restaurants make its called Chile de aceite...

The food was good kinda cold in there but it was busy!! The food was good next time I want to try their Menudo!

Today was the second time eating here and had good food Super buritto and beef torta was really good The ladies at the counter were very nice This is my first choice for Mexican food in the future. Next time i will try carnitas.

Randomly found this place and it hasn't disappointed. Carnitas mixed with cueritos and buche was my order. Then me menudo. Today im trying tripa tacos with carnitas to go for later.

Rice was a little salty but good nonetheless, drive thru order so no comment on the atmosphere, but cashiers were friendly and will be back again

Food is very good. Authentic flavor. Service is okay. Lacks in cleanliness. Tables are cleared but, not cleaned. I have rated a 5 all the way down in the past. I hope the cleanliness improves.

They really put a lot of effort into making sure this place is up to date. It's clean, they are somewhat socially active, the food is really good, the prices are as what you would expect from a well kept establishment. Ordering ahead is really helpful especially Post-Covid to be quickly in and out. 92cent Taco Tuesday for those who are curious.

Came here with my dad, on a recommendation of a family friend. Glad we werent dining in- the place was packed, and really warm inside. Considering how busy they were, the service was good, and the menudo was excellent! Not much space in the way of parking, but this is a little shop-and its often these little places that have some of the best Mexican food you could ask for. Will come back again , to try the quesatacos they were advertising

My first time trying out Carnitas La Piedad it was AWESOME , food was so delicious and flavorful, I DEFINITELY will make this place my own.

Only personal bad part for me was that it had the yellow tortillas ...other then that it would be a 5 star, fast, great customer service and good food !

Service was quick. the cashier was super nice. Atmosphere was relaxed place was clean.. ordered the Carnitas Burger, which was really good, the fries were undercooked on the inside and over cooked on the outside. Also ordered the Wet burrito de asada, the green sauce had a good spice. The rice and beans had a good flavor asada was dry and needed a bit of flavor. They had big peices of cheecharon I'll be going back to try!

Very busy place! Alot of traffic coming and going. The waiters are very helpful and attentive , they also bring the food to your table. Huge generous portions for sure.

I was craving Chilaquiles so I ordered them here expecting them to be made with the red sauced fried tortillas but was disappointed to see them made with green salsa instead and onion for some reason. I'm not sure if that's a common method of making them but I've never had them like that, in my opinion it was not very good. My girl got a carnitas burrito though and that was delicious! I would still come back but not for the chilaquiles.

Good prices, food is ok. I had a carnitas torta, it was big but mostly fat and cold meat.

Food Is good, Service is poor quality, cashier has a really bad attitude. Also the music is super loud making people to be speak really loud or be yelling during their conversations. It's ok to had music but the level of volume is way to much.

A little over rated in my opinion, food was ok but nothing like I was expecting. My birria tacos were very soggy/ greasy & unable to pickup or hold so absolutely no need for the extra dipping sauce. Breakfast plate was a good size but food was cold as it was previously cooked and left under heating lamps.( the potatoes were very cold) Burger was cool but it was a premade patty. Most plates were around $15, over all ok but in no hurry to go back.

Food was alright, honestly came here from a suggestion off of TikTok. Tried the Birria Egg Rolls, quesabirria tacos, and carnitas tacos. The egg rolls were alright not worth the hype, had too much oil and flour but I understand it's fried egg rolls, just wasn't for me. They come in an order of 4. The Quesabirria tacos were good, not thee best but they were alright. The carnitas tacos did ruin it for me though. Was expecting them to be good especially since they're named after that. But probably my mistake for going late in the evening, carnitas were a little hard and the tortilla was stale and hard as well. Overall it was alright, not as good as I was hoped it was going to be. But I don't know what they put in their onions, but damn they were good, found myself enjoying that way more than I needed to. Not sure if I'll give this place a second shot, if so, it would be in the morning to see if there's a difference in food quality.

I heard good things about this place so I had to try it, I tried the birria crunch wrap needed more flavor, The birria hamburger needed more flavor, I'm going to go back and give them another try I will keep you updated

Carnitas burritos are good and filling. Plenty of Carnitas, beans, rice, and Guacamole. Discovered they serve some really good Birria and Consume. The Quesabirria Torta is great. Just tried their new Birria Crunch. It's good, but my preference is the Torta.

Ok if u like food that sits there all day!! Update this place has gotten dirtier and dirtier!!!! The food has a bunch of pieces of food from the tubs that are next to it. And everything is a mess!!! You can tell which foods are reheated from the day before.

Tacos were just ok. Dont recommend either of the salsas. Not a fan at all of their chile verde..too tangy. Burnt hard taco shells for chips. I don't think I'd return.

The food was good. The atmosphere was a bit off all the girl workers seem to be in a bad mood. Gave attitude when I asked a question and gave wierd looks. Made me feel very uncomfortable. I prefer the other location everyone is super friendly and make u feel welcome.

Been here several times and loved the food but always left feeling ill. We think we found the culprit... mold in the ice machine. Was clearly visible on the clear part of the ice dispenser. Unfortunately, we will not be returning not because of the food entirely but the mold.

Communication , quality, and customer service needs to be improved. The food was wrapped poorly leading to a lot of oil leaking out of the bag and making a mess. Some items were missing from my order as well. I couldn’t even check what I was charged for since the receipt that they gave me is generic and only gives the amount spent. I made it clear that I wanted a whole bag of tortillas and instead received tortillas in aluminum film, to list an example. I paid $80 for my order. You would expect everything to be pieced together accurately and well considering the cost of the order. I had to go back once to get my whole order. I was told I had everything the first time and left only to notice a lot was missing. I noticed again that I was missing items but did not bother going back this time. The workers didn’t even seem to care at all to confirm with me that everything was received. I will not be coming back here again. There are better options in Fresno.

First time here, had heard the food was really good from mikeythefoodieguy but I had the tacos dorado. Barely had any potatoes in the tacos, tacos are not fresh they are stale to bite. Rice and beans cold. Won’t be coming back.

There was an older lady in her 50s and she was so rude was sweeping around us while we were eating she kept banging the chair and the table with broom was so rude and made us feel uncomfortable.

The language was old,flavorless,tasted like wet paper towels! Awful! I love lengua,there ruined it for me! The carnitas were great,but got turned off to the place after lengua,and Chile Verde was not good.

I came to buy food here because the restaurant next door didn’t have anyone there to take my order. Something is definitely wrong with their food. I was eating and within 5-6 minutes of eating I got food poisoning. Also let people know that the burrito comes with cheese. I regret the $11 I spend on this food. The Imodium I had to buy cost a little more than half of what I paid for the food. Never coming back here. This establishment used to be very good before the owner passed.

Their website shows that they close at 7:30.. we were there at 6 minutes after 7:00 and it was already closed. It looked as though it had just closed as a group had just walked out. We stood at the door so we could ask what their hours actually were for future visits. We were 100% seen standing there, but yet not ONE person even acknowledged that we were there. We were completely ignored. Now, as a business owner, one would think to go and talk to potential customers.. to acknowledge them. But not here, 3 different people looked at us, turned away, and walked away.. ZERO acknowledgment. We obviously knew they were closed as the doors were locked, we were standing there to ask them their hours as their own website was obviously wrong. Due to the rudeness, we will not go back!!

Awful customer service. Food tasted okay but the experience as a whole made my experience terrible. I was initially eager and excited to try the food, but ended up disappointed. Called the order in for pickup during my lunch time. It was my first time ordering here so I asked questions to clarify since I was also ordering for others, and the cashier told me over and over to hurry up because I wasn’t the only person she needed to help. When I arrived I asked to speak to the manager directly so I can give feedback, and the cashier kept trying to interject and defend her position. When the manager left to get my order the cashier had the audacity to say “sorry you felt that way but they’re going to reprimand me for this”.

I visited this restaurant expecting an amazing experience based on the reviews, but unfortunately, it didn’t meet my expectations. Upon entering, I noticed the floor was very sticky, which wasn’t a great first impression. I ordered three buche tacos and half a pound of chicharrón. When the tacos arrived, the meat looked overcooked and very dark in color, which made it seem like it wasn’t fresh and possibly more than a day old. The chicharrón was average at best and also seemed a bit stale. I had high hopes for this place, but sadly, I don’t see myself returning.

Carnitas are alright, beans were terrible, not sure how you can mess up beans, also rice had jalapeños in it. Also salsa are not spicy

Food had no flavor to me what so ever very much greasy food! Came with my two co workers after work and we were appalled by the food and service due to the reviews we seen online. I also let them know I wanted no onions on my food and once my food was brought to me it was onions everywhere. I asked if they could remove onions and make new plate because I am allergic to onions, but once I received my new plate there was still onions on it. Do not recommend this place
