Food is fresh and hot. Must-try the loaded mashed potato! I also had a baked potato, at one point I like the mashed better.

My wife and I are relatively new to this area. We tried the Outback Steak House in Garland for the first time. We ordered the house salads, coconut shrimps and the ribeye steak with lobster tail for $67. The steak was delicious. The wait staff was excellent. Nice place for a weekend dinner. Next time we will try the burgers and the pasta.

I was incredibly impressed by this Outback! We joined the wait list about 15 minutes prior to arriving and checked in with the hostess. We waited about 15 minutes, which was understandable considering it is a Saturday night at 7pm. From then, our experience can only be described as efficient, extremely great customer service, and delicious food! Our server, Payton, was phenomenal! I felt truly catered to. We were checked on numerous times, not only by her, but by managers. I can truly tell that this restaurant is run like a well-oiled machine and that customer service is incredibly important to them. We are on our way to an event tonight, but I will happily drive the 20 min from our home to this stellar Outback! We will come back ♥️ Thank you for making us feel valued!

The staff here are very friendly. Every time I dine here, the food is very good. I would not recommend dining here on your lunch hour unless you live very close though. Like so many restaurants now, they sometimes are understaffed. That said, they try very hard to get you served as quick as they can. This is a good location for a good meal.

I normally come every now and then because we like the food however today was our first time having Aya as our server and she did absolutely amazing. She was very attentive to me and and always had a smile on her face with a positive attitude. Will definitely be asking for her next time we come!

We eat at outback at least twice a week. They have reasonable prices and food is consistent. Service is always great. Their to-go is convenient and is always correct. I would say if they happen to forget something it’s an extra dressing on occasion but the to-go is packaged well and food is fresh. The margarita for 2 to-go is a great deal. The only issue I had in the past is I accidentally ordered a to-go order via mobile app and their location does not automatically update. As I finalized the payment which was by Outback gift card I realized that i placed order at the wrong location. I immediately called the incorrect location and they did cancel my order. I ordered at the correct location but had to use my credit card bc the wrong location manager said the refund to gift card would not be automatic. Long story short I never received the refund. I called to speak w manager and she wasn’t there and no one was able to assist me. I am not sure if it was bc the gift card was one sent via email and i can’t remember exactly what my theory was but I forgot about it after awhile and never got it resolved. I want to say that someone said that canceling order wouldn’t refund the money. Well obviously! I feel like the mistake was too easy considering your last location is what appears and there’s no warning like you are ordering from a location that is further from your location like other apps warn. But, the app does track your orders and you get $5 rewards to use which is nice.

My family took me out to this location for Mother’s Day, which we expected to be busy. We were met with busy and a little chaos. After waiting an hour for our food, dodging a bird, I went ahead with my daughter to the bathroom to freshen up. Sadly, our visit was cut short because on our way back to the table we took a spill. That being said, the manager went out of his way to take care of us that night, helped pack up our food, And instead of one gift card for the “mom’s to come back”, they gave me two. VEGAN (heart healthy) friendly. Arrive during slow times so the kitchen staff gets your order without dairy. Steamed and roasted veggies. Ask for low or no oil. Sweet potato with brown sugar/cinnamon: ask for "no butter". Honey Wheat Bread may have animal protein so check somewhere else online for nutritional contents of that super fresh and delicious item.

We came back after years of not coming. It was a beyond memorable experience. The food was amazing and Eliza is one of the best servers we have ever had. We will definitely be back, especially since that bloomin onion was better than ever.

I can't really rate it because, while I did stop for an hour and a half in the Outback parking lot, it was not to eat but rather .. to replace my tire, which had just blown out, with the spare... which incidentally also ended up blowing out. So my experience kinda sucked, if I'm being honest ... But the parking lot was fine and dandy.. lol

The best location we have been to! We tried Mesquite and mesquite’s location never has the cute characters for the drinks when they advertise the specials. This location ALWAYS has them! The dine in rewards allowed us ti get a sneak preview of the drink and we are loving it!!!

Great experience with To Go orders for my family. The food is packed in such a way that the coconut shrimp stay crispy and don't get soggy from the steak juices. The steaks are delicious and tender, the side salads are large and full of fresh veggies. I'm ordering from here from now on!!

It was basically closing time on Christmas Eve and I wanted the Koala from the Gingerbread Fizz drink. When getting food takeway, they said they ran out of that Koala topper and instead of giving me nothing, they gave me an alternative Koala rubber ducky! I was already content with that, but then it turns out, they found one last Koala topper so I ended up getting both! I want to let them know I appreciate the small things like this a lot, on top of it being late on Christmas Eve. Thanks again and have a Merry Christmas!

Their bread and butter is amazing! We couldn't help but kept asking our waitress to bring more, and she did! The fried onion also taste great, without being excessively oily. The only thing that you might want to beware of is the steak. I ordered medium and it still looked and tasted pretty raw inside. It could simply because I'm not familiar with the standards. In retrospect I probably should've ordered a medium well. We were talking about the decorations in the restaurants, and we'd love to see more Australian styled decor besides the map :)

We had a great time at Outback Garland loc. They had a new Platypus Punch drink that came with a cute little souvenir Platypus & egg to keep...the drink was delicious and cute. The waitress didn't know how to explain the drinks and didn't know where it was loc on the menu & our other waitress didn't know what a butterfly cut steak was but we worked it all out and the food was delicious. This location is nice and clean and we like the ambiance here. We will be back.

We had blooming onions and shrimp for appetizers. They were both Awesome. 👌 I had ribs and a loaded baked potato with a pecan salad....it was good...the ribs were falling off the bone! Everyone loved there food...they also had a drink special 4 little drinks for $20..they were different flavors of margaritas. They said the blackberry was good...I don't drink so I didn't get the deal...they were bigger than everyone expected. It was a good deal.

2021 Update I stayed away for far too long because when I went back last Saturday night, I was reminded of how good the service was! 👍 Sydney was our server and she was so awesome! Prior to the did food, she kept our drinks flowing, the bread coming and was always clearing out the used plates. She is what a good server should be and as such, my tip showed it. 👌 The food was superb, the service was great and overall, the place was well received! 🙂💥 ============ So first off, I didn't realize they had a great room reserved for large parties. We brought a party of 30 people and they easily accommodated us. At first I was worried that they will not be able to accommodate that large of a group but they easily got it done. Furthermore, the two servers that took care of us were very gracious and kept things rolling. With that large a group, I thought they would get confused because we also had multiple people paying. Our hosts and servers were able to keep everything straight. The food was great, the service was great and very easy to access on the Westbound feeder of the PGBT (190).

First time visiting this location. Service was friendly, but server seemed a little overwhelmed at times. Ordered soft broccoli with my steak and it came out very hard, which was surprising because I’ve never had that happen before. Server took it back and the next batch was perfect. He was ready to take the dinner orders. My wife ordered the Chicken Sandwich, I ordered a Medium 16oz Prime Rib. Now here is where it slows down. It took almost 30 minutes for the food to arrive. Adrian did his best on keeping our glasses full and bread on the table, reason for the 1 star deduction. The Prime Rib was cooked perfectly and tasted wonderful. Bake potato was good but a little shy on ingredients to be a stuffed potato. My wife said her chicken sandwich was very delicious. Over all the night put was a success

This was my first visit there, and I was really impressed with everything. Sunday night visit, not terribly busy. Seated immediately and a special recognition for my server, Colton. This young man is THE example of excellent customer service! He took my order and was very present without hovering. I ordered a steak and shrimp combo: excellent choice. The steak was done to my specification, and everything was great! Service was quick and my meal was brought out before I finished my salad. He brought me an iced tea to go, and I was surprised at how large it was! Loved it. Friendly staff,and I noticed the bussers were on cleanup as soon as the customers left,and especially good at total cleaning including the seats. The vibe was relaxed and laid back. Im here at least once a month. Last night, everything was good until our order came out and the girl dropping it off said your sides will be out in a min. Our waiter came over and was baffled so he went to check on them. He did come back with my broccoli but said the mashed potatoes would take another 15 min. He did offer another side but they don't have many so we decided to wait. Ultimately the mashed potatoes came out after we finished our entrees... a little disappointed there was a lack of communication.

First, let me start with saying that we are huge fans of Outback Steakhouse. I'm proud to say that I've been a customer since 1998 - lol. This is our 1st time coming to this location though...we came here for lunch, it was a Sunday afternoon, so it wasn't busy. The hostess and waitress did a phenomenal job (I believe the waitress name was Cheyenne)...The place was clean and it wasn't to loud either. The 'onion bloom' was delicious as always; Bread was fresh - our main course was Lobster and full salads (plus 1 kids burger). Our only concern was the 'entree salads' - the romaine was wilted and they didn't separate the hard stem/base of the lettuce. Overall, everything else was delicious, my son loved his burger and the lobster tails were amazing! Overall, we'd be back...its good to know that this location has a closed 'private room' for special events - we definitely will consider using this location...

I saw the advertisement for the 14.99 and up special today so I came to have dinner. Upon being seated we were only given the regular menu. I asked about the special and one person told me I'll have to see if we have any specials that are printed up and ready. Then the waitress brought me the menu w the special on it. Held her finger to her mouth and hushed me stating this is our secret menu..... really? Can't make this stuff up.

Disappointed. Having been to other Texas Roadhouses before outside of Texas. I was excited to take my daughter for her birthday. We waited patiently for 35 minutes at 6:30 on a Sunday night. Steak was cooked as asked but lacked seasoning or flavor.

I used to really love this place, the French onion soup is always top tier. As far as the steaks, whoever is cooking them does not know how to cook them correctly which is ironic because steak is in the name. So many reviews stating they got food poisoning and it makes you wonder if the cook is related to the manager or good friends with them because why are they still working there? A lot of outback steak house’s closing, and it’s no surprise.

My immediate family do not visit Outback as much as we used to. As a matter of fact, before yesterday, I don’t remember the last time. We decided to go this time to celebrate my niece’s birthday. We had a party of 12. We get there and luckily my in laws already had us a seat waiting. So the wait time for us was nil. The waitress was very nice. She took our drink order and asked if we wanted an appetizer. We decided on a blooming onion. They bring it out and to me it looks over done. Like it was left in the fryer a little too long or the oil was too hot. But others didn’t seem to mind it. My son orders off the kids meal, chicken and fries. My wife orders the six ounce center cut sirloin cooked to medium. The chimichurri filet sounded good to me, so that’s what I got. Firstly, the kids meal. Hard to mess that up. My chimichurri sirloin, though the amount of steak compared to price seemed minimal, the taste was good. Now my wife’s center cut sirloin, there was so much fat and gristle, you couldn’t even get through it with a serrated knife. A manager happened to be walking by and asked if everything was ok. We showed him the steak, and he asked if he wanted him to take it away or replace it. Which was weird to me, because why would you pay for something you wouldn’t eat. So we asked to replace it please. It took so long, but the time it got back, my wife was already full from the bread or the blooming onion. It came out and she cut into and and behold, a huge glob of fat. Where do they get their steaks from? Out of the back of a guys truck in a Walmart parking lot? Now I know that places have bad nights and not everything is going to be great. But after send it back once, and you make it “right”, make it right. I can probably guarantee a return visit will not happen. But maybe your experience will different. This was mine.

This was one of the worst meals I have ever had in a restaurant. My steak was raw and the baked potato was so cold I couldn’t get any potato out of it because it was hard as a rock. Horrible!

Really am upset, food was okay but service was ridiculous bad! I dine in by myself i felt judge and they only brought me one drink the whole time since i sat down till i finished my food! I ordered a ribeye steak i needed more than one drink to swallow my food! So upset paid almost $40 for a bad experience!!!

Very bad experience! I ordered a medium well steak took 2 bites out of it. It was not done at all. The manager said that he would bring me out another one, took mine and literally brought my bitten one back burnt. Manager said that, that was policy. I don’t understand how you guys feel like it’s ok to put customers food that’s been touched and bitten next to someone’s fresh food. Very unsanitary! I won’t be back and will make sure all my friends and fam know what goes on at Outback

Been a common diner at this location for many years. My wife and 2 kids, and my brother his wife and 2 kids all decided to spend our Father’s Day lunch here. We called ahead and was put on 2 different cues on the waitlist since we had a large party of 8. Upon arrival, they could not find either of our cues on the waitlist. I ensured the hostess we both called this location, and she was able to finally find it in the “deleted parties” section. Why would they have deleted BOTH of us off the waitlist without any communication? After this, we waited 20 minutes to sit down. We then order our food and wait over an HOUR and our food still is not out. By this time, the young kids are hungry, cranky, and unable to sit still. We start to pack up and decide to just take our food to go because of the kiddos. The manager was very rude and played us off like he was frustrated at us. He gave us a 25% discount on our meal for the trouble. Yay…. Overall a horrible experience and a terrible way to spend our Father’s Day. Very disappointed

Arrived @closing time the restaurant did indeed still have customers all I wanted to do was order cheesecake to go. The waiter took my order then said one second the manager comes out (LUKE) I’m sorry we’re closed! I definitely felt a way because it didn’t have to be cooked and the system’s weren’t shut down. Whatever happened to going the extra mile? Disappointed that I was denied service! I won’t be returning! Why even take my order? Smh

We came here on a slow weekday. We were so hungry and looking forward to these steaks. I ordered their new chimichurri steak with a baked potato, my friend ordered the steak and shrimp pasta, my son had Mac and cheese. First the food took forever, which is weird because there were only two other tables eating as well. We received our food, it was so cold! My baked potato was hard and cold, my friend’s pasta was cold and her steak tasted weird. The only thing that came out hot was the Mac and cheese…. The only thing we liked was our appetizer, the blooming onion… everything else was horrible. After $100 bill and cold, gross food.. we will not be back.

Looking at the recent reviews it’s no surprise now that our visit was not the best. I called ahead and still had to wait 40 mins, no big deal as I understood they’re busy. We were seated shortly after a party of 15, we had a party of 8. The blooming onion and blooming chicken were so greasy. We asked for extra ranch and never received it. We waited probably an hour or so before our food finally came out. When we finally got our food the party of 15 was leaving, showing how fast they got served compared to us. They forgot one of our appetizers, no biggie. The manager I guess he was came by and asked if everything was ok. I started to voice my concern about the wait and he cut me off saying he was only checking on the appetizer and he took it off our check because he knew the wait was long and turned around and left. I don’t appreciate that. Don’t ask if everything is ok if you don’t want to listen to our concerns. We never received any appetizer plates with our appetizer either. They also let my daughter order an extra side without asking if that’s ok with the parent, no big deal but I would suggest checking with the parents in the future. She was sitting on the opposite end from me. I wouldn’t have minded so much on the wait if they would’ve let us know what was going on while we were waiting or if the manager didn’t cut me off while I was talking.

Horrible experience tonight. Ordered prime rib medium rare and came out not even room temp and looked petrified tell the staff and the nuke up the same prime rib bring it back out. Parker the manager says hope this is better it was not any better you don’t nuke prime rib. Staff never came back to check on us.

Update: The manager said he would give a refund and then ignored my calls and emails, still no resolution 2 months later. I would not recommend visiting this location, poorly run. ‐--------------------- Ordered the steak and shrimp pasta and received overcooked Pot Roast and soupy frozen dinner noodles. Awful experience. Been going to this location for years and couldn't believe they would lie to their customers like this, fake steak is not cool...

The food was bland and we ordered med-rare steak and got med-well. For the price we paid we feel like we we're robbed. We won't be going back to any Outback again. And I don't complain but we are all sick to our stomach after eating there. Our server was good but food and atmosphere was terrible.

First time experience here and last .. upon entering the establishment, my significant other and I were seated right away for a Tuesday night. Drinks were brought promptly ..bread was brought out warm and I will say the bread was the best part of the food experience service however was slow with the establishment being half empty. The food took way too long to come out …I ordered a ribeye steak medium well with loaded mashed potatoes and the green beans however, the mashed potatoes tasted like they came out of a bag and the seasonal green beans and garlic had no flavor. The ribeye was super fatty and the consistency of the ribeyes were not the same …my boyfriend got the exact same thing however he got food poisoning shortly after consuming the steak ..the Bloomin onion tasted burnt so I’m sure the oil was never changed… Overall, disappointing experience.i would avoid coming to this establishment and head over to Texas roadhouse. I would give 0 stars if I could .
