Dine in is pretty bare bones no frills but the food we ordered was great. We had general tso's and it was fresh and crispy and good flavor. We also had chicken w/ broccoli which was very good.

Fresh delicious choices- general tso chicken is lightly breaded and clean tasting, their dumplings have thinner dough wrappings. My personal favorite is eggplant with garlic sauce, creamy savory and fresh. Their moo shu pork is also a solid choice, in my opinion. Never too oily, never too doughy or heavy. This spot is in my top 5 Chinese places in the Amherst area

I go out of my way to order items from this place, only because I know how clean they keep their place. The fact that the food is really yummy is another reason why I come here. The service is absolutely excellent, and they never mess up on the orders.

First time ordering takeout from here and I’m so disappointed I didn’t sooner. Super friendly and kind service, incredibly delicious food, generous portions, very clean restaurant. Special shout out for the crab rangoons (stuffed FULL) and the pork fried rice (SO tasty). 10/10 Chinese food in my book. Will be ordering again very soon!

We door dashed from Sun Garden tonight. We had never eaten there before. Food was delicious. We loved the won ton soup, crab ragoons, scallion pancakes, eggrolls , vegetable stir fry, chicken and broccoli, Orange chicken, sweet and sour chicken, and general. Food came in box with plenty of sauces and fortune cookies. Great choices for large group or small family wanting leftovers. Note to self. Order larger quantity of crab rangoons and soup.

Fantastic food. My usual favorite Chinese place was closed, but found this gem hiding on N. French. Take out.

I have eaten here many times and I've always had delicious, hot Asian takeout dishes. I even had them cater my senior show at Bryant and Stratton College. It's a family run restaurant and they are always good to their customers. I like everything I've tried and my favorites are: Chicken and Eggplant with Garlic Sauce, Hunan Chicken, and the Curry Chicken. Their egg rolls are amazing as well as the Steamed Dumplings.

Everything is always on point and delicious. I used to call to order but I think I use beyond menu now and it’s always a smooth easy transaction either which way. All the food is always quickly made and ready to go. I’ve never had one complaint. Food is hot, fresh and yummy. My children love it as well. To top it off the owners/employees are always so kind. This is the only place I will order cuisine like this from now. Wish more places operated with integrity like they do at SunGarden.

I love Chinese food and always like to try new places. Most don’t stand out and are good or ok. This is my all time favorite!!! Ordered sweet and sour chicken and chicken lo mein, WOW!! Super fresh vegetables, chicken super tasty, sweet and sour sauce perfect!! And very appreciative super nice staff!! Try it once, it will be the only place you go from then on:)

I have tried most of the Chinese places near me in East Amherst. This is BY FAR the best: fresh ingredients, the right portions, GREAT prices. I eat here almost weekly. The lunch specials are one of the best deals in all of Buffalo.

I am so sad we have never ordered from here before. We have tried so many places around our house. Sun garden hands down has been the absolute best. The young lady on the phone was so kind and patient taking my order she answered all my questions too. The delivery woman was super friendly and kind, definitely someone that is welcoming and makes getting your food ordered all the better. Talking about the food though aside from the awesome customer service/experience ....... it was all still hot, fresh, and just delicious. I was so full but I wanted to keep eating. Super impressed really. I mean it was really delicious like it was our first time eating this type of food. My children ate their whole plates....and come on! To top it off they sent us complimentary cake that was perfect!!!!! Seriously though it was an amazing meal. Oh and it arrived earlier than anticipated! I most certainly will be recommending Sun Garden to my friends abd family.

My children and I eat here quite often. They are no doubt our very favorite place for chinese food. And we are very big chinese food fans!! Not only do they have the most delicious crab rangoons... but also their combination platters never disappoint. I also get the chicken with broccoli. We have also had the orange chicken, general saos chicken, sweet and sour chicken, and several more dishes. Not only are they delicious, but they are also so very friendly too. Now whenever we order delivery, they always send us dessert, free of charge. I always thought that was extremely kind and thoughtful. I highly recommend this place all around! You wont be disappointed!!!

After I got home and opened everything up I was pleasantly surprised by the food quality. The Happy Family was very good with fresh vegetables.The egg rolls were plump and crisp. Allthough the wonton soup was very tasty, I wish there was a couple more wontons in it. Also I wish they had a small orange chicken on the menu and not just a large. Overall we enjoyed our meal and we will be ordering from Sun Garden again.

I’ve gone to Sun Garden a few times and have had varying experiences each time. The general tso’s chicken is usually tough and grisly, but I went there anyways because my spouse likes the spare ribs. However, when we ordered the spare ribs this past summer (2023) they tasted old, like they had been sitting for a few days. The meat was tough and inedible and went in the trash. We decided to give Sun Garden one last chance because our usual Chinese place was closed, and within 90 minutes of eating the chicken we were both struck with stomach pain and diarrhea. I thought maybe it was just the chicken, and the next day I ate my egg roll and crab Rangoon. Again, I became ill after eating and ended up throwing out $35 worth of food. The Erie County health department site has inspection records, and Sun Garden has repeat violations for leaving chicken out at unsafe temperatures where it can develop toxins. I will not be giving this place my money any more.

This food place needs to be closed. This is the WORST chinese food I have had in a long while. The environment was not pleasant and comforting to enjoy a meal. The persons who did positive and recommended reviews were not truthful. My order was chicken fried rice, vegetable sprung rolls, sweet & sour chicken with pork fried rice. The pork fried rice was served cold as if coming out of the fridge. The sweet & sour chicken had no chicken meat in the middle. The vegetable spring rolls were served hot, freshly made and tasted good. Do not waste your money and time to go here...what a joke you need to make a reservation to go there..
