Overall the best I've had in buffalo the last two years. Had veggie lo main, general tso, and crab rangoon. All of which were great and the service was good as well.

First time getting Chinese here. It was awesome!!! We get lot. Boneless ribs, pork dumpling, beef on a stick, general tso combo, steamed chicken n veggies, sweet n sour chicken, chix fried rice, pork lo mein. All of it was great.

This place is great! The Owners are very nice, and the food is delicious, my family has been getting food from them for years and i won’t sever stop getting food from them

Although the restaurant does not have an eat-in ambiance, the food is excellent! I particularly like the Fried Dumplings, Wonton Soup, and the Sesame Chicken with Pork Fried Rice.

Food is tasty and fresh. Exactly what you'd expect for good Chinese take out. Comfortable chairs if you need a quick place to eat in.

I cannot say enough about Sun Garden, friendly service every time I call. The Kung Pao Double Ding is my go to meal. Best Chinese food I've ever had.

I have eaten here many times and I've always had delicious, hot Asian takeout dishes. I even had them cater my senior show at Bryant and Stratton College. It's a family run restaurant and they are always good to their customers. I like everything I've tried and my favorites are: Chicken and Eggplant with Garlic Sauce, Hunan Chicken, and the Curry Chicken. Their egg rolls are amazing as well as the Steamed Dumplings.

Everything is always on point and delicious. I used to call to order but I think I use beyond menu now and it’s always a smooth easy transaction either which way. All the food is always quickly made and ready to go. I’ve never had one complaint. Food is hot, fresh and yummy. My children love it as well. To top it off the owners/employees are always so kind. This is the only place I will order cuisine like this from now. Wish more places operated with integrity like they do at SunGarden.

The delivery woman was super friendly and kind, definitely someone that is welcoming and makes getting your food ordered all the better. Talking about the food though aside from the awesome customer service/experience ....... it was all still hot, fresh, and just delicious. I was so full but I wanted to keep eating. Super impressed really. I mean it was really delicious like it was our first time eating this type of food. My children ate their whole plates....and come on! To top it off they sent us complimentary cake that was perfect!!!!! Seriously though it was an amazing meal. Oh and it arrived earlier than anticipated! My children and I eat here quite often. They are no doubt our very favorite place for chinese food. And we are very big chinese food fans!! Not only do they have the most delicious crab rangoons... but also their combination platters never disappoint. I also get the chicken with broccoli. We have also had the orange chicken, general saos chicken, sweet and sour chicken, and several more dishes. Not only are they delicious, but they are also so very friendly too. Now whenever we order delivery, they always send us dessert, free of charge. I always thought that was extremely kind and thoughtful. I highly recommend this place all around! You wont be disappointed!!!

My personal favorite is eggplant with garlic sauce, creamy savory and fresh. Their moo shu pork is also a solid choice, in my opinion. Never too oily, never too doughy or heavy. This spot is in my top 5 Chinese places in the Amherst area

After I got home and opened everything up I was pleasantly surprised by the food quality. The Happy Family was very good with fresh vegetables.The egg rolls were plump and crisp. Allthough the wonton soup was very tasty, I wish there was a couple more wontons in it. Also I wish they had a small orange chicken on the menu and not just a large. Overall we enjoyed our meal and we will be ordering from Sun Garden again.

Damn good food!

Very small restaurant that is really take out only. I was disappointed in my pork dish as it was mostly onions very little and I mean very little pork at all. I also ordered pork fried rice and got just fried rice no pork.

Food is good but if they tell you 20min...multiply by 2. Always end up sitting and waiting for pickup order at least 15 to 20 min.

I’m currently 9mo pregnant and really wanted Chinese, ordered chicken lo mein with a side of brown sauce, they completely forgot the brown sauce and lo mein was definitely old.

Food is good but the lady works there is so freaking rude.

Rude lady - cheapskates - charge just for using a credit card - food is not that good lots of better choices in area

Worst Chinese fried chicken I ever had

Horrible customer service! Delicious food! The lady who take orders on the phone is so freakin rude!

This was bad. Tso’s chicken was mushy and acidic. Chicken and broccoli was slimy and flavorless.

I’ve gone to Sun Garden a few times and have had varying experiences each time. The general tso’s chicken is usually tough and grisly, but I went there anyways because my spouse likes the spare ribs. However, when we ordered the spare ribs this past summer (2023) they tasted old, like they had been sitting for a few days. The meat was tough and inedible and went in the trash. We decided to give Sun Garden one last chance because our usual Chinese place was closed, and within 90 minutes of eating the chicken we were both struck with stomach pain and diarrhea. I thought maybe it was just the chicken, and the next day I ate my egg roll and crab Rangoon. Again, I became ill after eating and ended up throwing out $35 worth of food. The Erie County health department site has inspection records, and Sun Garden has repeat violations for leaving chicken out at unsafe temperatures where it can develop toxins. I will not be giving this place my money any more.
