My first visit to the Bread Company Cafe 152 my food & drink was good. It was very nice they had a bluegrass quartet playing some music, which made it a treat to enjoy my visit even more. Nice place.

Great place to grab a FRESH bite to eat in DTWN Gilroy where AMAZING things are happening! Worth a visit, cute lunch atmosphere to gossip and laugh with the girls, but go for the yummy sandwiches and salads!!

Better than Panera! No, really. Had lunch with my mom and we both got the Turkey sandwich. I got a delish pear and apple salad, and mom got the chicken noodle soup. She loved it! The Turkey sandwich was bright and plump with meat and lettuce, tomatoe, etc. It was fabulous and the bread was of the highest quality. I live in the east bay, but when I am back in Gilroy visiting mom, we will head over to this awesome place. Oh, and they serve breaky!!

First time going and it was delicious! I got a half and half (sandwich and salad) and they were pretty big portions. A little pricy but not too much.

I usually don't order sandwiches at restaurants because most restaurants' sandwiches contain too much mayonnaise or some sort of source. However Cafe 152 sandwiches use fresh vegetables and other ingredients. With ordering minimizing source, I enjoyed a warm pastrami sandwich and a turkey sandwich with fresh lettuce, avocado and tomato. It was delicious fresh healthy sandwiches.

Great little place. Had the roast beef sandwich and berry mix salad. The sandwich was good but the salad was really excellent! Definitely having that one again!

Great addition to downtown Gilroy. My breakfast was good, atmosphere was nice, and the owner was very friendly. I would love it if they didn't serve plastic utensils with eat-in meals though.

The market veggie sando was so yummy. i loved the guy at the front. he was so friendly and gave great suggestions for to try 🫶🫶

If I lived in the area, this would be my coffee shop. Bright and friendly with no pretentiousness. The baked goods were excellent and the fresh bread made the sandwich amazing. Very nice staff - extremely welcoming even though we showed up 10 minutes before they were to close. The roast beef sandwich I ate had horse radish mayo and horse radish cheddar- delicious. But the best part was the homemade potato chips that came with it. I was so glad we made it here.

We stopped by here for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. We only saw it because we came in here as one of the stops on the Gilroy wine stroll. The restaurant is a bit out of the way as it is one block up from Monterey street. But it is definitely worth the small walk. They just serve breakfast and lunch here. The owner Audrey is a very friendly and funny Irish woman with that great accent. I had the roast beef sandwich and the wife had their half club with a bowl of tomato basil soup. The roast beef sandwich was good with a bit of horseradish to give it a kick. The wife enjoyed her club. Funny thing was that it seemed like the club had more meat on it even though it was a half sandwich and I had a whole one. But the food is good and the staff is friendly.

Great food. The service was slow but I over heard an employee saying the cook was a no show. He did a good job of pulling it off by him self. Clean and quaint.

Food was great, however this lady that worked there was extremely rude to the younger girl working there. I felt so bad for the girl, it's difficult to work in a toxic working environment like that.

Charming staff and friendly, comfortable decor. By mid-afternoon, though, it felt like they were trying to close up--condiments were put away and the coffee machine was apart for cleaning.

Absolutely love this place when they get my order right. But it's a hit or miss. Mostly they get it wrong. And it would be nice if they were open a little bit more. Every time I call they are closed. One final observation, the main girl that works there that is a little bit short with long black hair needs to go. She has very poor customer service skills

Luckily, the food wasn't bad. As been stated before, employees don't seem to want to be here. Don't expect a warm welcome or smiles. Expect to wait some time before getting your order.

Love the Mediterranean Salad. And Tomato Basil Soup. I will give them 5 starts but or gets crowded away lunch time, and only one person taking orders and few preparing the food. Also needs more space indoors for more tables and chairs.

The food is basic cafeteria fare. Nothing to rave about, but it's fine. The service clearly needs work: no smiles, and they seemed annoyed at having the two only people there.

The food is delicious which is why i keep coming. I love the chicken sandwich, the deviled eggs, and the lattes. With that being said though, for the last 4 times i have gone the young man who is the front keeps getting the amount of deviled egg orders wrong. He counts the order per 1 devil eggs instead of halves( ignored it the first two times jut the third time it was like come on man). Twice out of the 4 times I've ordered my food to go because i notice they're talking behind the desk, or that they prioritize to go orders first before the clients that are there in person . One of the 4 times i waited close to 45 minutes for my one sandwich ordered. But the quality of the ingredients is so good that I end up doing other things yo stay busy. If they utilized all the staff to distribute the work, and reprioritized how they did their orders this place would be 5/5 stars for sure.

The eggs were over cooked and I felt like everything was made in the microwave. If I am paying 10 bucks a meal, I expected a lot more. I wouldn’t pay half the price for the food we received. The staff was friendly and the location was clean but those are the only bright spots. We have given this place a few tries and just can’t endorse it. I just wish the owners would take a little more pride in this shop to justify the price.

Ordered online on Sunday. Their website allowed me to enter my order. Showed up at 10:20AM when they open at 9AM supposedly. Nobody’s in the restaurant and the doors are locked. How is this possible?

Had the Pastrami sandwich, skimpy sandwich, not worth the price! Didn’t look like real pastrami meat, meat was shaved cut, I’m used to the thick cut! Pickle was good!

Really unfortunate experience. They forgot our order and we waited over an hour for food and drinks. When our food finally came, the raspberries in my mother in law’s salad were moldy. I really hope they do better because I had high hopes.

Someone literally posted exactly what I was thinking… the two women at the front look unprofessional with hair all over the place, acting like they don’t want to be there, weird furniture shoved in corners, barely said two words to us, and got my order wrong when we were the only ones in there…. Really messed up coming here, should have gone to the coffee roasters a block away. Food wasn’t great either.

Pick up a breakfast sandwhich on my way through one morning and when I took my first bite, my mouth was pierced by glass and began bleeding. After returning to the shop to show them what had happened, they did nothing. Didn't even offer me a replacement sandwhich or refund. Poor customer service from management and poor practices in food preparation.

Gross breakfast burritos, the egg inside was greenish grey, had tons of cheese, probably four eggs in one burrito and pre cooked bacon. I took out the weird looking egg. Do better for your prices, honestly!

The cashier / host was very rude and really didn't want us to stay. Her demeanor was absolutely unprofessional. A simple question about their breakfast was a problem for her. The food was okay but not worth the trip from Morgan Hill after being referred by a friend. My advice to the owners, don't hire these youngsters or kids from today's generation. They are simply lazy, careless, and have no regard for your business. These types of attitudes will slowly destroy your business and reputation.
