My all time favorite Italian restaurant - I have been going there for 20 years. BEST CANOLLI ON THE FACE OF PLANET EARTH - I love their Citti sauce on my pasta. Wash it down with an Italian soda. ***UPDATE 8/2024*** - I still really like the food here but I literally just paid $30 for a quart of chitti sauce to go. We won't be able to afford to go back again unfortunately. 🤷

Just did quick stop on our way back from napa! Amazing place , Very friendly staff and patio is beautiful and cozy! Went for a small dessert but ended up ordering house specials…super yummy food! It’s a hidden gem….wish I knew about this place sooner, I would definitely come back!

Still amazing after their move. Picked up Linguine Pesto & Ravioli soup. The soup surprised me. I ordered it on a whim. Incredible! I did see a few small tables out back. Can't wait to go back.

If you want authentic real Italian homemade grandma grandpa kinda unpretentious restaurant, this is it! Delicious affordable, nice little spot in wine country.

The CUTEST little Italian restaurant you’ll ever see. The setting was perfect for a date - an intimate setting, with patio heaters and soft Italian music in the background, pretty lights, candles and flowers on the tables, the works. Our server, Darian, was such a wonderful man with an upbeat and cheerful personality, who recommended us wonderful dishes - a mushroom pizza and a pomodoro sauce pasta, both of which were outstanding! I am waiting for my crème brûlée as I write this review, that should tell you how lovely it is. PS - another huge shoutout to our server, Darian. He had such an amazing energy :)

My family and I have been coming here since they opened and it has consistently been my favorite restaurant. Authentic, straightforward, northern Italian perfection. My parents compare every caeser salad to Citti's and - spoiler alert - no one else gets it right. (Today's wasn't as garlic forward as usual but we forgive). Homemade croutons, an anchovy, perfect creamy/citrus balance... Also, Luca's pesto is unmatched. I generally don't order pesto out because I'm a bit snobby about it and don't think anyone can make it as good as me. Except for Luca. I'm also partial to the A.O.P. but you really can't go wrong on the menu. You can tell that the dedication Luca and team brings to the restaurant goes beyond the food - it goes to the people too. I remember being so impressed and welcomed when staff that was there when I was 8 years old was there when I was 20. Grazie, Luca. Mangiamo!

Directly off the road during your drive through the Sonoma Valley, between Glen Ellen and Santa Rosa, it's easy to find. All handmade pastas, sauces, and desserts, which any good Italian place would offer yet hard to find anymore. The atmosphere was semi chic yet very casual, allowing the customer to come in in any clothing style and with any company. Order at the bar and then you can get table service. The pricing was fair yet slightly on the expensive side for the fact of having to order at a counter. Would recommend restaurant change to a full table service. Also some of the chairs seemed rather worn and obviously not expensive chairs, so they should be replaced. Will definitely go back.

Had a delightful dinner. Very friendly and wonderful service. Very limited seating, perhaps only 6 tables situated on an outdoor deck amongst the tree tops. Food was very good, very good Gnocchi with the Citti sauce, wine tasted great and deserts and coffee were superb.

Lovely afternoon spent with my 4 sisters. The food was delicious and the wine so smooth to the palate. Staff was prompt with their service and didn't mind that we stayed well after their closing time for their lunch service.

We came close to their close but they were thankfully able to seat us outside. The staff is SOOOO sweet ❤️ My dad wanted to order their lasagna, but they were unfortunately out, but they gave him extra ravioli to make up for it which was extremely nice of them. If you go, you have to get the gnocchi! It’s melt in your mouth and some of the best I’ve had.

My family and I enjoyed an excellent meal last night at the café. It was the first time visiting since they moved from Kenwood. I’m happy to say they’re just as great. The grilled polenta is to die for with a nice rich mushroom sauce. Our waiter, Darian was professional and fun. The tiramisu was quite good as well. Nice setting on the patio above the creek.

We absolutely loved having our Holiday Luncheon catered by Cafe Citti. They were so pleasant to work with since the moment we called. We reached out on short notice, and they were able to accommodate us. The food was delicious, and we received generous portions. Our staff had happy bellies! We highly recommend them for catering needs!

Easy communication with prompt replies, accommodating, and so kind. I used to eat at the Kenwood cafe all the time but live out of state now and remember why I miss them and their food. They really treat you at if you're family. I can't say enough good things!

We are new to Santa Rosa and we’re so happy to find this place! The backyard deck is cozy. The food was good and the menu was diverse but not overwhelming. The service was the standout! Everyone was attentive and efficient. And our server was funny and sweet! We will definitely be back.

We ordered catering from Cafe Citti for my dad's memorial service and it was perfection. The pesto pasta salad is one of the best things I've eaten in recent memory, and there was enough of that and the fusilli tomato feta left over for brunch the next day. Easy communication with prompt replies, accommodating, and so kind. I used to eat at the Kenwood cafe all the time but live out of state now and remember why I miss them and their food. They really treat you at if you're family. I can't say enough good things!

We are new to Santa Rosa and we’re so happy to find this place! The backyard deck is cozy. The food was good and the menu was diverse but not overwhelming. The service was the standout! Everyone was attentive and efficient. And our server was funny and sweet! We will definitely be back.

We have been dining with you since you were in Kenwood. Last night we ordered delivery and had 2 Caesar salads. The dressing was more like butter than dressing. It wouldn’t pour or spread on lettuce and tasted off. The garden salad was fine. The bolognese, puttanesca and pesto were just ok but not what we’ve come to expect from Cafe Citti. We really enjoyed your restaurant but we won’t be dining with you again. The food was not representative of price nor quality and there are others with more consistent quality for the price. It’s sad that we have to bid farewell to our regular Italian restaurant but price no longer equals quality.
