Avis sur Corner Bakery Glendora
My kids love corner bakery. Their cookies, bread, and treats are yummy and tasty. Food for kids are also offered in reasonable prices and good portions. They have breakfast and lunch menu for kids. Fast service and great customer service. Definitely recommend this place for breakfast or lunch or if you just want a good snack.
Most excellent sandwiches, soups, salads and pastries. Compared to Panera or similar places it's the best HANDS DOWN! Gabriela our cashier was AWESOME! Since her Welcome greeting until the order was completed and handed to Us. Make us feel at home...EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE😊👍
This coffee shop is great & super welcoming! I love the relaxed ambience! They provide all your coffee, food & snack needs! They also provide a variety of baked goods as well! It's a great place to work or study at because they provide great wifi along with plenty of outlets & tables. The outside set-up is also very nice with very comfy chairs & plenty of room! I would definitely recommend stopping by for a visit!
Excellent service and food ! Clean and inviting. Alex made our breakfast get together extra enjoyable and was very helpful and kind ! The entire staff was awesome. Thank you for the great service and food !
Never been until a family member told me to take a look recently and let me tell you…. That the food there is so good especially since I was tired at the time it gave me the energy I needed to start the day, especially with the good iced coffee. Cheers to who cooked my food that morning.
Came in sick today so I switched it up from norm and got a soup...Must admit, Allison did a marvelous job of helping me. She even provided lemons on the side which already having me feeling better. Thanks for the good customer service! (Great food is cool...Great customer service is PRICELESS!)
Breakfast with friends, first time trying this place. Great food selection and yummy coffee choices with refills. Great conversations, made some holiday plans. Room for large groups like ours inside and outside weather permitted. We will return!
I enjoy Corner Bakery Cafe as a chain. This location was no exception. Friendly staff. Good food. Clean environment. Pleasent atmosphere. My only "complaint" is that the music, while relaxed and fun, was a bit too loud.
Had the Anaheim breakfast🥘. Tasty, but felt like I needed toast. Not offered with dish. Wife ordered bacon and cheddar panini🥪. Tasty also, we both felt the bacon was a little to salty than normal. Latte was nice ☕. Service was pretty good. But how do you run out of ketchup?😁
First time visiting this location. I enjoy CB food enough to visit new-to-me locations. Plus, desserts are delish! 5 stars because of Annette (hope I spelled your name correctly). She was so nice, so helpful, and highly knowledgeable. She made the visit a wonderful one, and I will definitely return. ANNETTE ROCKS! 😊
I ordered one of the cheaper items on the menu. Soup and a half sandwich and it was $17.99. I hate to sound like a cheapskate, but really? Wow, that lunch was worth $8.00 maximum. At these prices I can't afford to leave a tip. I won't be going back again anytime soon. The soup was mediocre and the Panini sandwich was average. My friend had the half sandwich and salad and It costume nearly $40 for a light lunch.
The food is incredible! My and my boyfriend came by to enjoy a quick bite. We stayed longer because of the lovely atmosphere and setting. This is a great place to hang with friends and family. The menu is decent priced. I loved it!
Very satisfied with the quality of food and service. Salads are always served fresh and huge portions for the price. Pastas are delicious and full of flavor. Chopped salad and pesto pasta are our favorites. Love the desserts here too- lemon cake and cheesecake brownie are must haves. Staff always friendly and clean establishment. Never ran into a problem where they were closed when hours of operation said "open" on line.
Great food, Greats Employees, Great Service! Enjoy coming here to start my day off right!
It is always delicious and the staff are great. The kid's meal is a great deal. $5.29 for a good amount of food with a delicious cookie. The grilled cheese panini was yummy 😋.
Great warm service. Make great coffee and delicious food! Highly rec visiting and signing up w number to get discounts.
Great pastries, good service, and clean space. Good for meetings. Not noisy.
This is the best Corner Bakery I’ve ever been to! The staff are super friendly and helpful, and even informed us about using a promotion! The food was excellent, and the manager even stopped by our table to chat with us and see how everything turned out. We will definitely return to this Corner Bakery!
Love corner bakery cafe - 5 stars just for the vibe and nostalgia alone. We came after church and it was not busy at all. The restrooms had the baby changing station, which, I appreciate, as a mom. I was a little disappointed in the potatoes and pancakes, everything else was really good. We got the All American Scrambler plus a side of pancakes and sausage. The kids shared that. The sausage is a flat sausage patty - a surprise and the kids’ favorite way to enjoy breakfast sausage. I got the Ham & Swiss Croissant add Egg and it was delightful! I ordered an Americano and my eldest saw the pumpkin spice white chocolate latte on the digital seasonal menu and he ordered that - hold the coffee - they were both delicious. We also got a chocolate chip cookie and the kids forgot about it so I enjoyed that later on - it was fire 🔥
A Corner Bakery located in a quiet corner of a large shopping center. Food and ambience is what you would expect at any other Corner Bakery. This location had a relatively smaller selection of fresh baked goods on display. Nonetheless, the bakery items looked delicious. Prices are a bit high yet it is understandable with the higher quality of food that is prepared here. The service here is also top notch. One of my party's order was fairly particular with a sandwich request that was not on the menu and without skipping a beat the employee was accommodating and made adjustments so that the order could be placed. Clean dining area. Seating is available both indoors and outdoors under shade. Indoors is a nice oasis from the outside heat in the middle of summer.
It's always a pleasant experience when I dine here. The customer service is always positive with everyone smiling and happy to serve you. The food is also always perfect. Every time I've been here they have not ever missed anything on my order. Nothing missing and no mistakes. Very well prepared, and the temperature is nice and hot. I'm very pleased with the overall atmosphere at this location as you can sit at a bar setting with plugs for your laptop or cell phone if you're collaborating with others, a booth if you want comfort, and standard tables too. They always have nice pastry packages to take to parties or as a gift.
Corner Bakery is a chain restaurant serving comfort food (e.g. salads, sandwiches). I gave this location 4 stars as one of the soda fountains did not work and I had a rag under the leg of the table to make it stable. The food and staff were nice.
Food is great service was great too.....but they needed to sweep and wipe down the chairs and tables and finish cleaning the restaurant B4 THEY OPENED.....
The food is good and fresh. The temperature in the restaurant is very cold. Don't go in without a sweater. The patio is good if the weather is good. However this time it was very dirty and full of trash.
The Corner Bakery always has great food. I had the Asian salad and it was like everything else just the bomb. I think if every restaurant put into their food the kind of thought that corner bakery does, every restaurant would be successful. Not to mention of course that the bread is to die for!
Since I work in the area, my coworkers and I come here frequently. The staff is always nice and upbeat. Overall the food is great. Just had a few not that good experiences. But it hasn't deterred me. They addressed my concerns..
Always great food, service usually good too. Was a bit disappointed that my food didn't come out very quickly, but it was delicious when it came! In their defense: when an employee realized that my food was not out, she immediately handled it, and brought my food out very quickly. Corner bakery is definitely one of my favorites!
I love this place however lately the restaurant has been slacking in their cleaning I’m not sure why they are understaffed but I will discontinue this awesome place if this continues to keep going and the tables and chairs aren’t clean
Everything I ordered was fresh and tasty, but the quantity (portion size) and the price is not a good value. I spent $40+ on 1 regular-sized square sandwich, 1 medium-sized salad, 1 small cup of soup, and 1 latte.
The ambiance and cleanliness of the place is great. It's not noisy when I came on Saturday evening during dinner time. They also have an outside sitting area that is covered in case of rain. The location is also convenient for shoppers that are going to visit Barnes & Noble, Best Buy, or other stores in the same complex. The prices is reasonable for the overall dining experience. But for a quick bite, I would go somewhere else, like Subway, where the prices will be cheaper.
Foods always good here. The girl that took my order split my order into two transactions and saved me a few bucks which was pretty cool. The only thing bad was I had to wait over 20 minutes to get my food tonight. Longest wait yet but still worth it. Like they say, clean plates don't lie... In other words, I ate it all...
I love this place. I get gift cards for my neighbors, friends or family. I enjoy their sweets. I enjoy their sandwiches pasta & salads. My niece enjoys their soup sandwich combo.Staff are attentive, friendly & helpful. They have coke zero soda, yay. They bring your food to your table, which I appreciate it.
I had lunch with a friend. The restaurant is very much the same as before. I don't think the menu will change much. They need to change up a little to attract people. The menu is very much the same as before COVID.
Saw the adds for you pick 2 com Bo meals for $6.99 after 4pm so went and tried it. Make sure to call to verify if the Corner Bakery near your location entertain this special offer. Really a great deal. Pick any combinations from Soup, Salad, Pasta, hot and cold sandwiches and a side. Got the Berry mixed salads and hot club sandwich. The Mixed Berry salad was so good and tasty. The tangy dressing was light and airy. The hot club sandwich( turkey, bacon, and cheese) grilled in a toasty sliced sour dough. A bit dry for me but it was tasty. Nice place for dining. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Very pleasant environment to enjoy your meal. Walk up to the counter to order and wait for your food to be served.
I still enjoy going to this place. Still enjoy it better than Panera. Think the only thing about this place is that it looks run down. The chairs, the tables, and there is only a few people helping to get you things you may need. I know it isn’t a place that you expect excellent service, but it just seems the staff is quite busy already, and doing what they can to help. Food Food I think has actually improved, besides the dressing for the chopped salad ( you gotta make sure you scoop out the bottom or all you will have is oil) . The pomodori, and carbonara pasta still seems to be up to par as we have had it. Again maybe because I grew up with this place , but I think all it really needs is a refresh in the place, some cleaning and more help.
My family went to eat here for dinner. Our receipt had one of the entrees on the back and it wasn't seen by the server. After they delivered our food they went to the kitchen to make it. Nothing hard, a caprese sandwich. After 7 minutes and still no entrees I went back to the counter. The entree was entered like any other order instead of rushed to the front. 5 minutes later her sandwich comes from the server, not the manager. The rest of us were already finished.
The oatmeal tasted funny and the chocolate muffin was dry and tasted off.
Outside dining was really great! But the heat lamps were still on when it was 78° this morning after 10AM!!! Wake up, staff! They no longer bring food to your tables. U have to go back to the counter to get food yourself. Lastly our food was barely lukewarm, as was my coffee. So I poured out cup for an alternative. (Much hotter, on the different flavor coffee)...
Regular corner bakery location. Simple tasty food at a good price. Great lunch and potty stop en route to Palm Springs. Grabbed a quick snack, water and iced tea and was on the road again in no time. The staff was attentive, listened well, and was generally upbeat. No complaints.
We like the food here. Our favorite is their DC Chicken Salad Sandwich, potato chips, asian edamame salad and their brownies. This restaurant though needs serious attention to cleanliness. Booths are left dirty and the floor is filthy. There is also a bad scent so you definitely know it isn't maintained well. Hoping management can fix it.
Went to use their advertised BOGO entree only to find out after paying that they are required to deduct the lowest priced entree which was a $7.99 salad rather than one of two $11.99 pasta entrees ordered. Prior to ordering I read the entire offer and it said "nothing" about this, nor did the cashier say anything when I started the order by showing her the coupon. Upon speaking with the shift manager and explaining my position she very thoroughly explained how the coupon worked and eventually agreed that this should be included in the advertisement so consumers know how to play the game, i.e. order the 2 highest priced items on one order and place a second order for the rest. I dont fault the employees for this as it seems this is an issue that stems from corporate, and they should be ashamed as this is a terrible way for their employees to have to operate. We were comped a cup of soup to resolve the matter, which was appreciated. The second part of the visit speaks to the food ordered....they were out of linguini for the shrimp and linguini dish so had to substitute cavatappi. The dish is advertised to be prepared with shrimp, Parmesan, linguine, garlic butter, tomato, fresh parsley, lemon juice. What we recieved was a bowl of cavatappi with shrimp, but there was no trace of parsley or garlic butter, and only 6 to 8 microscopic pieces of tomato. Thus, tasteless and unappealing. The garlic bread was even worse...bread with grill marks and microwaved to beyond chewable. The Cesar salad was great...love their dressing. We like to support our local businesses so will give Corner Bakery another try with hopes of being able to leave a better review.
First time here & I will be back. Just went for something light, and it was pretty good. Far better and more flavorful than Panera. If you like Panera, this place is better. The bread is fresh and soft. The food was ready fairly quickly, and it is fresh made. I will never go to Panera again.
We ordered two cookies, drip coffee and an iced caramel latte. The person at the register was truly nice and courteous. My wife went to the self serve coffee station and the coffee was cold. She asked if they had other coffee. Nope, they had to brew a fresh pot. We waited for at least 30 minutes for two cookies out of the case and the iced caramel latte. There were two other folks working there. Cookies and caramel iced latte were deliscious. Coffee was good, but my wife had to go up and check on the coffee a second time. The atmosphere wasn’t anything special and there was a ceiling fan on high and the table was off kilter, so coffee got spilled because the table kept moving.
DO NOT DRINK THEIR COLD BREWS. I’ve gotten their cold brew 3 times, and each time they’ve been extremely acidic and overly bitter, which is an indication of using old/expired cold brews. The food is fine.. but every time I drink the cold brews I get an upset stomach and give up on finishing their drinks. I also got a chai tea latte for my sibling, which ended up being way too sweet as well…
The cookies, lemon bar and soup were great. The pretzel bun was good but there was almost nothing in the sandwich. I wouldn't get it again.
Ordered lunch for the office. The food taste was good. The portion sizes for the money would be 2 stars at best. None of the food was labeled so we had 8 people opening up everyone else's containers to try and figure out what was what. Probably won't be ordering company lunch here again. Maybe dining in would be a better experience?
The food is not a good value for your money. Breakfast for two was almost $30 . Not worth it. The breakfast wrap was all tortilla, hardly any egg avocado or spinach. It was wrapped so loose it looked big, until I picked it up and rewrapped it. I had to remove 1/2 the tortilla. Every time go there I say I'm never coming back. This time I won't be back. The coffee was old and cold, but the server was nice and made a new pot of coffee.
Food is ok. They were out of many items... even syrup!!
Normally I'm very happy with the food and service here, but today was an off day. Our food was lukewarm at best, the service was slow, and the tables, chairs and for were messy. And they weren't busy at all, so I can't existing it. Hoping for a better experience next time!
I came for a quick breakfast. I ordered the garden scramble. the person taking the order suggested the truffle mocha was very good. The food came out a at reasonable time, I didn't like the potatoes. They were dry and hard. I have no complain regarding the service or the taste of the scramble.
4/15/24 We decided to give this restaurant another chance and I think we are officially done coming back here. I think covid was their downfall. Now the service, quality and atmosphere has gone down hill. I don’t think anyone seems to care about customer service. I think they should close and put another restaurant here. We used to come 2 times a month and now we never want to come back. Carl had the turkey club. It basically looked like a sandwich you would receive in prison. There was 1 slice of turkey. Then they forgot the bacon which didn’t make it that much better. The sandwich was $12.39 and it was really worth $6.00! I had the shrimp pasta and berry pecan salad. The pasta had no flavor and then the salad was missing both berries. When I brought it back up she said they were out of berries. They substituted some apples but it would have been nice to been informed and given an option to what I wanted instead. Management doesn’t even both to read the reviews to see how they can improve anything. Anyway, doesn’t waste your time or money coming to this restaurant. :( We used to really enjoy coming here. Then after covid they started closing at 8:00 on a weekend which I thought interesting. The food can be good but a lot of times it’s not hot. A previous visit the food was cold so we asked them to heat it up. 15 minutes later we asked about it and they had forgotten about it. They didn’t even offer a pastry as an apology. We decided to give them another shot a year later and it was a little better. The requested items that we wanted served hot were not so we had to wait for them to hear it up. This place could be good but it’s alright. Plus the carpet is really worn and old and needs to be replaced. They don’t seem to really pay attention to the details.
Service was slow. Slow to order, slow to deliver. We arived at 8:40 am with no line and one person at reguster taking an order that took 10 minutes to process. When we finally were able to order we were told items were out of stock or not prepared to order yet. Took us another 20 minutes to get our food and it was tasteless, no seasoning at all. Worst overall experience at a Corner Bakery I’ve had after countless visits. This is usually our go to place to meet and catch up. I’m thinking a change to Starbucks or Panera’s might be in order. We complained but got no response other than a weak apology.
Been coming to corner bakery since they opened. But it's changed quite a bit and I don't just mean the prices have increased! This place has truly gone down hill I'm not sure if management has changed or what's going on. First of the place is stinky! You walk in and my gosh it smells like molding food and throw up "yuck!" Secondly this establishment needs some serious cleaning it's dusty and dirty and the restrooms often have No soap in them. Thirdly there has been more than a few times that my silverware has pieces of food still stuck to it "Double Yucky!" I thought to try another location so... My family decided to go to Rancho Cucamonga at Victoria Gardens well... It was exactly the same as Glendora a filthy & stinky restaurant! Don't think we will be able to drop in again.
The only reason this place gets 2 stars is because the food is usually great. The service at this particular location is horrible. It is the slowest restaurant. It has always been that way for many many years. Yesterday we waited at least 20 minutes for our food, there were people waiting still that had ordered before us. They either need a better manager or staff. Usually the food is really good, but this time our panini was cold, the cheese wasn't even melted.
3 stars for the food and 1 star for service (if we could call it service at all). The lady at the register seem annoyed when we asked if we could up the size of an order. She started shaking her body and tapping her fingers. Then she got even more annoyed when we showed her a coupon. Do they look down to people that uses coupons?! If they don't want people to use coupons then don't issue them! Let's talk about the food. We ordered a club panini, it had spicy pepperoni and ham in it. Where's the bacon and turkey? Did they run out of ingredients?
The service is slow. They're always out of coffee and you have to chase around for it. They got this weird thing with bathrooms where they have a designated one for the women's side and then the men's side is marked out for everybody and so it's never available for guys, so you go long periods of time with the rooms just locked. Terrible, in fact I don't even know if that's legal. On the good side the coffee and tea does taste good and there's seems to be a lot of people going there for the breakfast. Also members of my party always complain they never have bagels, they only make a limited number. Which is weird because it's a bakery and you think it was supposed to have bagels so on. On the whole it's a popular place but you're not getting anything special here, there are much better places elsewhere.
My husband and I used to dine at this cafe frequently and many times have ordered to go. Tonight I ordered 6 bowls of soup & chili as these are some of my family's favorite menu items. Got home and poured out a container of chicken noodle soup and....no chicken! A few noodles, a few pieces of carrot in the broth and no chicken. So disappointing. I also asked about the bread that should come with the soup. The young lady assisting me said, "oh we don't do that anymore". What? Corner bakery doesn't serve bread with their soup. So I paid for a bowel of soup that was essentially broth. Better portion control is needed here.
I have to complain about this place. Every 80% of the times that I have come here something always happens. On the internet they say that the place is open but when you go in person they tell you that it is closed .... the workers tell you that it is closed and there is always an excuse, whether it is covid or something related to water. If it is "closed" then why are there workers? And why does it appear online that they are open? . They also receive orders from uber eats they accept them and when they arrive they say they have not received anything. the food is good the service of whether it is open or not is terrible. Just go to another corner bakery to avoid this nonsense.
Food is good but there were 6 tables that were not cleaned. A blond behind the counter was asked by customer to clear a table and she only cleared one table the rest stayed dirty while she talked with fellow workers. We packed our lunch up in napkins and left. There bowls, plates cups and tray just sitting on tables!! Last time we go there.
This is not the kind of place you sit down and have a good breakfast. It's real money comes from catering so all the staff is boxing lunches not serving guests. The eggs are scrambled. Period. No other choice. The bacon is paper thin and limp. There is no service other than taking your order and delivering the cold meal; then they go back to boxing catering orders. Save your time and money. Go somewhere else.
Last time I came to this place was during the pandemic WAS NOT IMPRESSED BLAND TASTING SOUP. I almost made the mistake stoping buy today SOO GLAD I read recent reviews of bad service and food GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER sit back and review your ORIGINAL claim to fame. Keep in mind when someone makes the choice to patronize your establishment ITS MY VALUABLE TIME AND MONEY TO PUT YOUR SUSTENANCE IN MY BODY. You ruin that opportunity of service and especially food YOU HAVE A PROBLEM ON YOUR HANDS. Get back to your REAL MISSION STATEMENT cause when you loose a customer it’s REAL HARD TO GET THEM TO SPEND THEIR HARD EARNED MONEY ON YOU AGAIN.
Ordered the chicken panini sandwich. Very little chicken. Or filling and bread was not fresh. Very disappointed for what a got for over $20.00.
Ordered the Chicken Noodle Soup and wow—what a culinary plot twist. It tasted worse than the 50-cent ramen packets you find at the back of the grocery store shelf. I asked for a bowl (a $10 bowl, mind you), and they handed me what I can only describe as a thimble with ambition. Apparently, that’s their idea of a bowl. The menu photo must’ve been taken in a parallel universe. And the soup? Not hot. Not warm. Just… emotionally distant. Instead of complaining, I chugged it like a sad cup of water and pretended it never happened. Safe to say, that was my first and last rendezvous with their soup.
My husband and I went there at 5:30 pm last night hoping to have pancakes. I heard their ALL DAY breakfast was really tasty. We went up to the counter and we told the girl what we wanted and she turns around and yells over the other employees to the cook in the back and asks if they are serving breakfast and the cook says no they are completely out. How do you run out? Won't you need stuff for the next morning? So we turned around and went ton Five Guy's where the food was hot and the employees were friendly and alot of fun.
I normally love corner bakery but not happy with this store. I get a grilled panini and the potato chip bag is packed in the plastic container directly on top of my sandwich. Both sides of the sandwich look like they were cooked on a dirty grill. Very disappointed and threw the sandwich away.
I stopped coming to corner bakery a while back because they don't know how to make toast every time I went there for breakfast I got warm bread. I came today for lunch I got the worst service ever cashier brand new doesn't know anything fountain drinks broken iced tea tasted really bad I returned that the tomato soup was really bad they gave me a house salad and didn't ask what kind of dressing and they just put the house dressing on it I'm sorry but I can't come back here again
Today was mine and my gfs first time n let me tell you when we try to look for a table all the tables were dirty from the day before because we came in at 9:30am. N the place looks dirty The cashier wasn’t friendly at all. And instead of cleaning he was standing doing nothing. Now I know why the place is empty.
This location has become awful! Patio was dirty and no one was cleaning up after people were done eating. Staff inside socializing with each other. Very limited menu with poor customer service. This used to be one of our favorite places to eat so disappointing for a corporate run business!
On 4/5 I placed an order to go. I always, always get the same thing. Harvest chicken salad; no walnuts, no blue cheese, no cranberries. Instead almond slices and goat cheese. I was told that this location would no longer be offering almond slices, but had candied pecans. I said sure, that's fine and ordered 3. Today, 4/7 , I came in to order 3 more. Dana said they haven't offered pecans for quite a while. I told her I was informed they changed it on Thursday & that I was told they no longer have almond slices. But I was fine with either one. She turned around and picked up a container of almond slices. Showed me them. I said ok, that's fine. She then turned to the cook and asked if they offered pecans he said. No. I said thats fine. She then went to the back to ask and said b/c she does the inventory. Clearly, I said it was fine 3X. So thank you Danna for embarrassing me. Clearly you were determined. But, I'm not an idiot. I was told and served the pecans Thursday. I know what I was told. I know what I ate. So, I'll be going home and getting my receipt to show you in just a few. I love the food at Corner Bakery Cafe. But this particular location is absolutely HORRIBLE w/cross training, confirming information within it's own, and terrible with customer service. I have gone on their website to complain about the customer service about 2 months ago. Please management: please look into some additional training in customer service for them!!!
Just has the worst food here that they have lost me as a customer forever. Ordered the bacon avacado egg bowl and it was cold and very bland. Tried to take a bite of my toast and it was so hard that I couldn't take a bite. Also ordered a cinnamon roll because it looked fresh and delicious. I couldn't be far from wrong. It was supposed to be heated but instead it was hard and cold. The staff don't care and the food just keeps getting worse.
They completely forgot about my order. After waiting 25 minutes, I went back with the receipt and order pickup buzzer. No apology, they just didn't care, from the cook to the cashier to the lead person. I am never going back.
Food was a weird warm like it came out of a microwave, bacon was basically raw, came here because of a recommendation from a Coworker and it was filled with disappointment, they basically gave scraps to my father, and gave stale bread to my mother's BLT, and the amount of disrespect from the empaloyees, sighing and dismissing our complaints become "that's how it is" this place seemed like an open and friendly vibe but turned into an a pathetic joke.
The worst breakfast I've ever had! Coffee was cold and full of grounds, eggs looked as if they had been made the day before. Food was cold. Had to ask for butter for pancakes! Ate on patio cause the inside was so dirty. Did not look as if it had even been cleaned from night before. Could tell no one cared.
First time going here . The service was terrible . The lady at the counter was half asleep to greet me. The food quality was at best ok . Looks like it was put together in a rush. The drink was sitting on the counter half way made when I walked in and the food was ready to go in a bag. I Walked out and got on the road and the food was already cold. If this is normal I won't be going back.
Food: bland (runny sandwiches, no flavor) Coffee: cold and full of grinds Employees: uninspired & dismissive Ambience in the outdoor area is the only good thing about this place.
The ginger haired girl who wears glasses and I think her name starts with a C is a really rude worker who shows that she hates her job clearly. She was very rude when I was ordering not saying anything or being friendly at all. I also ask for some hot sauce at the counter and she told they were all out on the tables and she had none but I look behind her and all the hot sauce bottles were right there in the open for me to see. There was not one hot sauce bottle on any of the tables inside or outside she just wanted to be a pest and continued to not give me a condiment I asked for.
Went for breakfast. Potatoes were burnt. When I went to take them back, staff dismissed my concern. My niece had a hair at the bottom of her half eaten breakfast bowl. Also the girl taking our order was far from pleasant. Not the best way to start the day.
This place is not busy at all! The girl that's behind the counter doing nothing she should be cleaning the tables cause they are filthy there's food on the ground. The sandwich was dry
I went to Corner Bakery this morning for a meal before starting my holiday shopping. The music was loud. I ordered the blueberry pancakes, but they were unable to make them due to missing ingredients. I ordered a scrambler instead. There were only a few people there, but it still took a long time for my food to arrive. When my plate came out, it looked empty. This was because the potatoes were missing. The person who brought out my plate informed me that the potatoes would come out soon. I started eating, but the food was cold. After I finished the toast and cold scrambler, I realized that my potatoes never arrived (and I'm a slow eater). I told the cashier and other employees that they forgot some of my food, and they were oddly dismissive. They didn't seem to understand why leaving out one third of the meal was a big deal, and why it wasn't okay to keep me waiting. Their attempt to make it up was to give me a container of potatoes to-go... as though I wanted to carry around potatoes with me while Christmas shopping. I got outside and tasted the potatoes. Bland and undercooked. I threw them out. Frustrating way to start my day.
I have been coming here for several years and normally have encounter good people. Nonetheless, it was not the same today. The team did not accept their promotional code for 2 breakfast for a certain price stating that they were not accepting the promotion. I explain to them that their advertisement must be made valid; otherwise, it could be considered False advertisement. The manager stated that they would not. I am just disappointed that they don’t keep to their promotions and can just say that they won’t.
Terrible. 1 person taking orders, Eggs where cold, Bacon was not cooked and Pancakes Where cold. I almost always give good reviews but when you pay for food at a place like this you expect not only service but a warm meal. It tasted and felt like we where a a cheap hotel.
I ordered ahead for pickup in store and the food was ready before the time that it said which were were initially excited about. when i got to my house to eat it i took it out and the mac and cheese just looked mush. I tasted it and it tasted like water. I mixed it up to see if that was the problem but it still tasted the same. It was almost 12 dollars and tasted disgusting. I have loved every time i’ve gotten mac and cheese but this service was just god awful.
Disgusting and the portions aren’t worth the price. Very disappointing. I hate everything I purchased. Like seriously how do you mess a tomatoe soup!
This place has really taken downturn over the last two years. I stopped coming two years ago for various reasons. I gave it another shot today to see if any corrective measures had taken place but NO. The restaurant is still very dirty and the orders are very sloppy. It looks like they wipe tables and drop all waste to the floor. My sandwich is iron-grilled but I get a smashed sandwich instead. I always order a chicken carbonara for my kids and what they got was a soup-like mixture(a lot of liquid) with different pasta shapes. I can count the pieces of chicken I get in the pasta; maybe two or three. This place has changed from a relaxed, clean venue to a hometown buffet-style atmosphere. They really struggle maintaining standards during rushes.
I am from out of town and the food took forever and when it finally came it was cold and flavorless potatoes were hard, eggs no flavor. Never coming back thumbs down.
I went inside and placed my order and AN HOUR LATER I still had no food. It was a simple grilled cheese ffs. Waited so long that I finally had to ask for a refund. I have never had to do that in my life. Employees didn't even say a word, just let customers sit there wondering if their orders had been forgotten. If you're not going to staff your stores correctly then you need to warn customers that it could take longer than an hour to get their food BEFORE they order.
Walked in the door and was greeted by I will be right with you and disappeared. No one else in line before me. I patiently waited about 3-5 mins. before she returned. In that time about 6 other customers entered. Two went and waited by the online order pickup register with the remaining 4 waited behind me in the ordering line. When she returned she ignored us in the order line and proceded to assist the online order customers. Absolutely unacceptable customer service. My first and ONLY TIME I have been here. Won't be returning!
I used to love corner bakery Glendora, NOT ANYMORE!! Thanks to the lack of hygiene, started at the cashier and this guy with long dirty nails. It was so disgusting and shocking seeing him preparing my coffee and touching my cup lid with his hands. The indoor place was smelly, and kept looking for a clean table. It wasn’t busy, and there were like 3 workers chating, so why no one is cleaning the place? Add to this the ripped furniture!!
I really don't know what happened to this place. It used to be a favorite, but now I rarely eat here, and I won't be back. The loaded potato soup used to be good, thick and creamy, but I don't know what this is. Obviously not soup, at least not anymore. The fact that someone felt comfortable serving it is sad. The sandwich, the Beef and Blue, was incredibly dry, with only a splat of bleu cheese "sauce" on one slice of the stale roll. The beef was a thin, stringy, flavorless slice and a half folded up and topped with some very sad onions. The arugula looked okay, and was the only flavor. Even the ice tea was flavorless. Very disappointing. Update- I was asked to contact them regarding my review. I am happy to do so, however the link they posted requires me to download a pdf with a new link in it. That link takes me to a page where I have to open an account on a third party site. NO! If you want to talk to me, make it easy.
