We went to see Josh Clevenstine and Chris Shaw for an evening of songs, drinks and merriment. The place was packed, as it should be. Beverages, food, and service was all great. We will be back.

We always have a great experience at The Grateful Den. The service is consistently warm and attentive, and the team truly takes pride in creating a welcoming atmosphere. The menu (crafted by Carrie) features creative pub fare that elevates classic favorites, and every dish is packed with flavor. Dave is an outstanding bartender: entertaining, quick on his feet, and always on top of things. Their other bartenders, Amy and Alissa, are just as friendly and personable. If you’re a regular, they’ll often have your drink ready before you even find a seat, always greeting you with a smile. The crowd is a fun mix of all types of people, which adds to the laid-back vibe. Being a family-run business, The Grateful Den has a genuine, community-focused feel that makes every visit enjoyable. It’s the kind of place that keeps you coming back, and we’ve never had anything short of a great time. Highly recommend.
Excellent food and great service…. They had a trivia game going and myself in my date participated.
Food is always fantastic, drinks are always cold, service is always great. All around great atmosphere and staff.
We visited Thursday night to check out the trivia night that we heard so much about. We were promptly seated by Amy who suggested a certain spot to hear the questions from. We ordered some apps and some drinks. I stopped a fellow and asked if he was Dave, the owner. He said he was and chatted a bit. The food arrived and let me tell you the pretzel with beer cheese or whatever it is called screamed for a second order. Trivia was fun although I'd like to see a few less phones out. Although there was a younger crowd,we were very comfortable.
I'll always give 5 stars to a restaurant that offers tots as a side option. We really enjoyed our dinner here, the shrimp Po boy was great! They also have an excellent draft beer selection
I have been coming here since The new owners took it over 4-5 or so years ago, As a patron, I absolutely love this place! The owners and bartenders are amazing and the food is great! The pountine and the wings are my favorite! Possibly the best variety of beers on tap around anywhere! They always keep there lines clean and make sure the kegs are fresh. As a musician this is one of my favorite venues to play! And there isn't anywhere around that supports local musicians like this place does! Very warm and inviting. Couldn't ask for a better place to hang out or better people to hang out with!
I wasn't even hungry, but the Den Burger disappeared all the same. Huge shout out to the fries! Most amazing salty fries, crunchy on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside. Wonderfully accompanied with a crisp beer. Great service and atmosphere, chill, good music, good vibes. Husband and wife team, great service and great kitchen. A local pub you can feel like a local in.
The Grateful Den creates a great atmosphere to gather with friends, laugh and hold a private party! Owners are nothing but gracious, funny, and caring towards their customers. Something I always appreciate at establishments is the cleanliness of that bathrooms!! I highly recommend this family owned establishment for casual dining and happy hour! My friend who is a bar food connoisseur said they have the best Poutine fries she’s ever had, and I agree!!
First time here for a quick dinner. This place came highly recommended to us. No frills local place. Menu is pub food style and nice variety of items for a bar. The beer cheese sauce on my Philly cheesesteak was delicious & the fries were a 10 outta 10! Service was excellent and it was a comfortable atmosphere. Will definitely be back soon!

Amazing food and atmosphere, great selection of local craft beers. Friendly staff and the best spot in GF to listen to local music talent! This is our go to spot for a night out whether it is planned or spur of the moment! Make sure you order the Den Poutine!

A little gem in Glens Falls, and we will definitely be visiting again if we're in the area. Fried pickles were awesome, and the chicken wings were huge, crispy, and the sauces were delicious. I had the house mac and cheese with jalapenos and it did not disappoint (asked for a little extra cheese sauce👍). Our server was extremely kind, helpful, and attentive. Homey atmosphere and tasty grub, all around great spot! So glad we stopped in!

This place has yet to disappoint! We have been coming at least once a week since opening and will continue the tradition💝 The atmosphere is nice and inviting, not rowdy or super loud. The wings are absolutely delicious and perfect EVERY SINGLE TIME! This week we had wings again of course but also ordered a burger and it was also very delicious! I normally don't order hamburgers out, but I'm glad I did! It was cooked to the perfect temp and the fries are nice and crispy🤗 we are always served by a happy bartender who loves their job( which is a plus)
What an awesome vibe. The pub food menu has something for everyone and I’ve never had anything that I didn’t like (my favorite snack are the pretzels and cheese). The music scene is cool with many talented musicians. The owners and staff really provide their customers with a positive experience and make you feel like you belong.
