A little corner of paradise, nestled in the hills: at Antica Locanda I ate wonderfully and felt at home. The service was friendly and discreet, the ravioli were amazing, and the meat was spectacular. If I could give more stars, I'd give them all. Exceptional cuisine; I think quality is their priority; you can feel the passion in every course. The staff is knowledgeable, with a good dose of friendliness and empathy. The location isn't overly large, just enough to feel a little at home. I don't have photos to attach because I don't usually take them, but reading and seeing the recent reviews, I can confirm everything! Absolutely recommended!! We'll see you again soon.

A fixed-price menu for lunch on a Friday for €13, with generous portions of excellent quality, including a choice of six first courses, a choice of five second courses, a choice of three side dishes, and, a pleasant surprise, a 1/4 liter of local wine (white, truly local, and therefore not perfect, but genuine), a bottle of mineral water, and a coffee! Highly recommended, a true refreshment after a 15 km walk. The pasta with sea bass in red sauce and the carpaccio with eggplant caponata were excellent!

We reached "Locanda del Groppo" somewhat by chance... We practically took the wrong turn. And chance brought us to this splendid location. We found a beautiful view and the owners were incredibly friendly. The food was perfect, all high-quality and professionally prepared. The restaurant is clean and has a family atmosphere. The bathrooms are fragrant and clean, equipped with every comfort. Parking is on the street next to the restaurant, which is located in a charming little village. The prices are fair for the dishes; the cured meats, cheeses, Fassona beef, and desserts are definitely worth trying. I highly recommend a tasting at this excellent restaurant!!! Nine of us went to Antica Locanda del Groppo for a birthday party, with a menu agreed upon over the phone for €35 per person. However, when the bill arrived, the price was €40 per person, plus €18 for coffee, a homemade cake (€25) not included in the menu, and three bottles of wine for €20–25 each. The final price was well over €50 per person, a figure that suggests a much higher standard of cuisine and service than what we received. The appetizers were disappointing: two slices of salami, hard and not very fresh mondeghili, and croquettes of uncertain quality. The bread and service were also sparse and of poor quality. The first course, a long pasta dish, was sticky and undercooked, while only the second course was acceptable. The restaurant itself is a simple, country trattoria, and that's fine—but if you choose to offer "premium" restaurant prices, then you expect attention, transparency, and quality to match. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. There are other inns in the area that offer significantly higher quality at more reasonable prices. Overall, a disappointing experience and not recommended, especially for group lunches or special occasions.

I don't often write reviews, but in this case I want to tell you about my experience. Six people arrived for lunch on Sunday, October 26, around 12:15. The bathroom was broken, and that's fine. The dining room was quite cold, and that's fine, the restaurant had just opened. We read the menu, and the waiter informed us that the Ligurian-style cod wasn't available. The prices were a bit high for a restaurant, but instead there was a paper tablecloth. The waiter, who didn't want to be offended, was rather pissed off, and he didn't even have an apron. Professionalism is another matter entirely. The food was average, nothing special. For six people, with two bottles of Bonarda for €20 each, we spent €302.00, or €50 each. Two people didn't have dessert. We had some objections to the bill, which was based on a photocopy of a receipt without a stamp, because we felt there was an error that we pointed out. After a discussion, they refunded us €20, but with little regard for the customer. I recommend increasing your attention to service, professionalism and above all to customers.
