So delicious!! We moved to the area recently and have had a hard time finding places that serve food with flavor. This place hit the spot, everything was delicious, well seasoned and savory. The atmosphere inside is unique and very clean. The staff was great and the bartender makes an amazing old fashion. Myself and my husband really enjoyed it and will definitely be returning!

This was the second time in my life I've had a German sausage meal. The Bratwurst Sampler at this restaurant was delicious, not too salty. I also ordered a German beer, and afterwards, we had an apple strudel with ice cream. The service was excellent, and the restaurant had a romantic atmosphere. The waitress were very friendly; local people also very nice , they nodded and smiled at us. I really liked this town and this restaurant

🍺🇩🇪 Step into Germany without leaving Granbury! We stopped in at What’s Serve Restaurant on the Square, and the authentic German atmosphere was incredible. From the traditional décor to the hearty flavors, everything made you feel like you were sitting in a Bavarian beer hall. And this guy right here? Absolute phenomenal. He brought the energy, the culture, and the warm hospitality that made the whole experience unforgettable. Hunter took great care of us at Ketzlers German restaurant on the town square in Granbury Tx by helping us order meals and dessert. Everything was delicious. We highly recommend Ketzlers and will definitely return and ask for Hunter(adorable shoes, too). Thank you so much.

Very good schnitzel here, a lot of place will overfry their meat and have it end up a little dry, but here it's perfectly done and retains all it's juiciness. Same with the brats and side dishes here, all are excellently done, I was surprised to find a german comfort food restaurant of this caliber in a small town.

OMG! Loved the food and the service! Heatherton made us feel at home and her recommendations were superb. We had the Pretzel and the Chicken Schnitzel with Jäger topping. This German food has been thus far the best German food we’ve had stateside. The German Mimosa had the perfect blend of juice and alcohol. It was so massive! One was enough for me. Needless to say I’m glad we decided to stop here.

First time visit for myself. Family loves the wonderful German theme restaurant. Greeting by Ms Elizabeth as our server. Fantastic customer service, friendly and fun server for our family of eight. Had some wonderful / tasty appetizers. Huge pretzel, Bratwurst sampler, and potato pancakes....each very yummy. Dinner we each had the various Schnitzel plates offered...variety to chose from. Everyone enjoyed the generous portions. Then Ms Angelika stopped by the table to ask how our dinners were and did we enjoy. Very friendly & great conversation about the restaurant, foods & families. Update: Got to try this officially and this place is wonderful. Heather was an excellent waitress, very knowledgeable about the menu and determined to make sure we were comfortable and liked what we ordered. I loved the chicken apples sausage, and their battered fries are out of this world. Original review: Excellent food! Some of the best I've had in Granbury; full of flavor and the portions are huge. Staff is also friendly and welcoming . They offered me a drink while I waited on my to-go order. Will be back if I'm ever in the area!

My entire family loves ❤️ this restaurant. The food is fresh, authentic German dishes. Waiters are always smiling and polite, fast service and very helpful in making a great decision in menu choice. We spend around $40 for 2 and never disappointed.

Went today (02/23/2024) for lunch and had such a great experience. Waited a minute or so and was immediately seated, waiter came by and I was able to order my food. Food took about 10 minutes or so, but was worth the wait! Ordered a cinnamon pretzel before getting my food. And came with vanilla dipping sauce. Great place to visit and experience!

Good food, good atmosphere, great service. Would surely go back. The seafood choices were excellent and the drinks were really good. Quite a nice assortment of choices on the menu

Unfortunately we experienced an hour and a half wait to be seated and it may have impacted the overall experience. Service was excellent. Food was all very good but not quite what the price suggests. Again, it was all very good but I'm from New Braunfels where there are several German options around and I'm used to getting better for the same or less cost. The atmosphere was great and it made for a fun day trip out from Ft. Worth! I'd go back!

Solid meal as we were hungry for snitzel. Server was one of the best we've ever had. Decorated and up to standard. If anything I'd add some pictures in the bathroom as it's pretty drab compared to the restraunt interior

Really enjoyed the almost German atmosphere. They have live polka music in the evening, so if you are out for a quiet evening, go early. The food is good. Our native German guests were not impressed, but there are a lot of different variations of German specialties in Germany, so it would be impossible to make every German happy. It is cool that the waitresses wear authentic German Dirndl, it would be even cooler if the didn’t stare at you like you were a lobster when you order in German.

We popped in for a late lunch today and everything was good. The only reason for the 4 stars is bc I felt like the schnitzel could have had a little more sauce on it. The potato salad was fantastic! Service was good and atmosphere seems like it would be fun during busier times.

The food was good. The problem is the only German food they only offered was 5 varieties of sausages and 5 varieties of schnitzel. A very Americanized German menu. No rouladen that I could find. No sauerbraten. I had my heart set on some rouladin but was forced to settle for schnitzel instead. I avoided the sausages which is something I can get anywhere. Like I said it was good, but not great. I had mine with sauerkraut, which I love. The red cabbage was sweet, just the way I like it. The spatzle was good, but I wasn't expecting it to have pepper in it. Not good or bad, just not what I'm used to. The service was good. The place was rather empty. Only 4 other people eating at one table and 2 people sitting at the bar, surprising for supper time. There is a stage along the back wall where a lady does German music on the weekends. Us middle of the weekers were deprived of hearing her. All in all, I liked it, but I couldn't love it with their very limited menu. I enjoyed what I had, but if they had more items, I'd probably go back a lot more often.

The Bratwurst and Sauerkraut were excellent, but the Schnitzel, Red Cabbage, and warm German Potato Salad were absolutely horrible. The Schnitzel was tasteless mystery meat, and the salad and cabbage had more sugar in them than most desserts. To be fair, I am a German immigrant and an avid home cook, so my standards and familiarity with the cuisine are a bit above those of the average person visiting this establishment.

We went with our family yesterday and we were all first timers. The pretzels were great! The food was not so good. The purple cabbage was way too sweet as was the sauerkraut. The snitzel was chewy and the burger was not fresh. The Reuben sandwich was super dry and not tasty at all. The only saving grace for me was the potatoes that were fried and the lamb chops. We definitely won’t be back.
