Got the small Sopa de Tortilla. It's a big bowl! Very good! Pulled in to get out of afternoon rush hour traffic. Some friends came in while I was there. My server today was more attentive.

Food was good. I had brisket tacos. The brisket was fresh and juicy! The blue margarita is amazing and you literally only need one.

The Google description identifies this restaurant as Tex-Mex but I really feel it was more Mex than Tex. Had a little bit more of an authentic feel for the meals. The chips were thick and different than your chain restaurants Salsas had some kick but not too much . The salsa verde definitely had a strong jalapeno hint but was great. Queso also had a good flavor. I had the Mad Mex, which was the brisket flavored combo, and it did not disappoint. I actually enjoyed the rice, fluffy and nice flavor. My wife had the Chorizo Breakfast tacos and enjoyed them. Piggly sized nachos were more than enough to feed two teenage girls. Overall, staff was very friendly, and the restaurant was clean. Our server kept up with beverages and chips.wpild definitely come back again next time I'm back here.

Great food, great margaritas, great service Tortilla soup is awesome, pozole verde is legit! Street tacos are excellent. One of the many times coming here, never disappoints

I had the carnitas tacos, and the meat was tender and well-seasoned, with just the right amount of spice. The tortillas were fresh, and the toppings, like salsa and guacamole, were a nice touch. The service was friendly, though it was a bit slow due to the crowd. The atmosphere was casual, with a lively vibe, making it a great spot for a relaxed meal. Overall, a good choice for authentic Mexican food

I have visited this restaurant several times and have always had a good time. The food is good and so is the service. The queso with meat, pico, and guacamole is delicious. I gave it 4 stars because the atmosphere is a little lacking. The furniture is old and they should invest in some more comfortable chairs. However, it’s a cute cantina and as long as you’re not expecting something fancy, you’ll enjoy it.

Been coming here for years. The food is like a 3 outta 5 on the Mexican food scale but the margaritas make up for it!! 1 isn't enough but 2 could be too many lol

We decided to try Baja Mex as it was recommended by a friend, and it did not disappoint. The service was great, and the food was even better. Started off with chips and salsa and a tasty margarita. For the entree, I had Carnitas Michoacan. It had plenty of pork, and was very good. I would definitely come back next time we're in town.

From the outside this looks like a tiny hole in the wall Mexican restaurant, but the inside is actually pretty spacey and has a large bar. Cute decor. Several TVs with different sports on to watch. Chips and salsa were good. I ordered taco meat nachos, and my boyfriend got the chili relleno. Both portions were HUGE. Margarita was good. Apparently there’s a two drink limit, because they’re pretty boozy. Everything was really great except our server, I think his name was Patricio, seemed like he really did not want to be there at all. Not super friendly and would drive by ask how we’re doing. It was very odd. Otherwise, dope Mexican place I’d recommend if you’re in the area.

We went here April 2025 to satisfy a fish taco craving, and we were not impressed. The order was to go, and for one of the orders, we requested no tortillas.Strange, yes, but that's what we needed for this person. This seemed very confusing for the person taking the order. When we got home, the beans and rice were OK, there was decent slaw and avocado included. But the fish was... scant, like they took normal tilapia filets and split them into 3 thin slices. What was supposed to be 2 fish tacos was more like slaw with an insinuation of fried fish. The atmosphere bordered on dive bar, but we were not dining in so that was based on a brief stay in the bar area waiting for the orders.

Service was great and attentive! Food was subpar (at least fajitas were), free chips and salsa though! I was expecting mexican food since it was a mexican restaurant theme, but there was a tex-mex menu... I got the fajitas. They were kinda bland and small portions, onions were still kinda raw.

Was there for lunch 11/7/25 12:44 Great brisket tacos . Decided to get meals to go for my kids . Spent $112. Ordered 2 brisket taco orders ( got 1) caught it and waited on a second Asked for fajitas no onion . Had nothing but chicken looking at us from the table at home. No tortillas. I called and asked for Mgr at 3:45. He quizzed me for 10 minutes. Table #? Order # ( wasnt on my cc receipt I kept) waiters name . Finally I asked if it couldn't be looked up by time and amount? I was told I should have caught it while I was there. Gee does he get paid more to be a non efficient manger ? You decide
