Edith was our waitress and she gave amazing service. I did not get the cooks name, but he was very conversational and asked me specific questions on how exactly I would like my food cooked. They made a great team and made this a very enjoyable experience

Just had yet another amazing Waffle House feast!! Ariel was our server and was so nice and friendly even though it was late night. She was a refreshing person to talk to. She even suggested A1 on my cheesesteak melt bowl — LIFE CHANGING. Why have I never thought of that before?? Qua absolutely crushed it on the griddle. Look at the pictures. Look at those eggs. WORK OF ART. The perfectly crispy breakfast at midnight, the salty crunchy hashbrown edges- and you can double your hash browns for only FIFTY CENTS that’s a forkin’ bargain right there. How do I leave a twelve star review???

Hi I'm a Server for Waffle House company & I currently work at Stone avenue waffle house where i transferred from s pleasantburg waffle house by Greenville tech community college..I mainly work on weekends second shift due 2 working 2 jobs throughout the week but.... I will say that I personally enjoy what I do as a server & I love my job. I encourage all customers to come to waffle house. This is a great store location & very convenient to down town greenville SC & I enjoy seeing all customers come to stone av! Ask for me sweet tea! Ill be happy to serve you! As this is only one of the waffle houses I work at I invite you to 11 e stone av! I hope that your experience is a great one! HOWEVER I THINK THE STORE NEEDS NEW MGMT! IVE BEEN TREATED very unfair and very POORLY BY THE MANAGER STEVE SEVERAL TIMES. Several...AND IVE BEEN NOTHING BUT A GREAT SERVER...Ive been discriminated against at this store location by the manager Steve and a few co workers which is unacceptable but I will not let it stop me from serving customers with excellent customer service.

We was never able to eat. It was a hot mess. Empty tables were dirty and needed to be cleaned. 3 booths and the long table beside the register was dirty. When we got there a booth was being cleaned but the dirty dishes was being put on the table beside the register. We left and took our service to IHOP.

My Daughter wanted waffle house for her birthday. We got in the restaurant and the cook and the waitress was in a chair. The waitress was rude the entire time of service pleased the wrong orders and the food was over cooked. Not sure who the GM is at that location.

African American took my order and he was very rude with a nasty attitude and never offered me any utensils or condiments I had to ask for it and also threw it in my bag and never told me to have a nice day I will never come back to this location because of him

Don’t try and come here after you leave the bars downtown! They almost always have the dining room closed and make you stand outside for take out only. We tried this Friday night - My friends and I had to wait in the rain as we were repeatedly yelled at for “blocking the window” by standing under the awning in the rain to wait for our uber. I think the girls were mad people were leaving because they had decided to close the dining room. Been here before, tipped them 30% and prebussed my own table, because I also work in the industry and I know how it gets. But, doesn’t matter, they’ll treat you like garbage here just because they’re having a bad night. Any job I’ve had, I would have been fired for treating a guest the way these ladies did. Used to come here all the time, won’t be back, and recommend others just get food downtown and support those businesses instead. Even the people waiting outside near us saw how they were acting and said they wished they had just gone somewhere else. If someone who owns/manages this location actually reads these reviews, I’d recommend managing how your staff is running your business, because currently they’re just running people off from what should be a high traffic location that builds your brand instead of tarnishing it. I won’t be returning and I’ll be telling everyone I know, especially downtown, the same.

Absolutely one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at any restaurant. We ordered our food through the app which was extremely annoying and would not allow me to add special instructions for my food to be cooked well done as well as any other instructions. When I arrived to pick up this order that was not even gonna be cooked to specifications anyway. Only part of the order was prepared and I had to sit and wait for over 10 minutes for the other part of my order be cooked while the rest of us sit there and continue to get cold. When I complained about this and asked if I could get a re-cook or a refund of any kind, the road waitress named “breezy“ said hell, no laughed at me and walked away! Then I asked for the order number so that I may leave a complaint regarding the situation and ask for a refund through corporate, she gives me attitude about this. The Koch, who was polite during the entire situation printed my receipt so that could have my order number. The rude waitress did not stop here. No she decided to further complicate the situation by demanding that I get up off of her table, as if I was not welcome to be there or even so much to sit at one of our tables while I waited for them to correct their mistake!! Unbelievable! When I refuse to get up from her table, she then starts cussing and yelling at me and the man that I leave the store!! Worst experience at any waffle House or any restaurant otherwise! Waffle House has been going downhill for many years and this is unacceptable from the ordering process, the cooking process to the customer service. I would definitely never return to this location and will most likely never order from another waffle house. Period.

The older woman serving me was in a bad mood. I had been standing there for over 10 minutes, and they had three free, but dirty, tables. So my girlfriend and I sat down at one to wait for it to be cleaned, but the woman yelled at us and said it wasn't clean and that we should get up. We waited another 5 minutes, and no one cleaned. I don't know what her problem was, but I noticed her racist attitude.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. I came here because before I wanted a late night snack, and the server Red was very kind and outgoing. Today I went and some lady outside yelled at us telling us it’s only To-Go. I replied that “that’s why we are here” cheerfully, and she gave me a disgusting attitude back. We ordered and then my order ended up being burnt. Incredibly rude. I didn’t have time to argue back so I went home. Would not recommend.
