Jay's Pizza

One of the best NYC style pizza places around this area. Picked up a nice pepperoni pie. The crust was a flavorful canvas for the flavorful sauce, which wasn't overloaded, the savory cheese which wasn't too salty and the pepperoni which was perfectly crispy. The pepperoni had started to cup and crisp up on the edges and was the best version of pepperoni on a pizza. Will return again for this glorious pie!

Both the pizza (thin crust) and boneless hot wings are excellent - nearly reaching the level of superb. No joke. If you're from the area and remember the never-successfully-duplicated Hank's Pizza in Cambridge: This place is almost Hank's. There are a few tables to sit at, and a tv, but it's not a sit-down, bring a date kind of place. I'm just saying the food is great. Order ahead.

We really like Jay’s pizza. Most of the time the quality of the food is very good, sometimes it is a little over cooked... but it is always the best pizza in town. I’ll still give 5 stars because employees come and go but, our only complaint is the young fella at the counter. Let’s just say he is NOT exactly a ray of sunshine. I get that working at a pizza shop might not be your dream job, but fake it. He always seems irritated and often has snotty/rude tone. AND it’s not like I caught him on a bad day. It is every time. He’s definitely not the type of guy you want as the face of your business.

For a small place in upstate NY, this is some of the best pizza I’ve had ANYWHERE. We had their wings too, perfectly crispy and sauced. Highly recommend! Plenty of parking, modern interior and an absolute hidden gem!

We ordered 2 large pizzas one cheese and one ham and bacon and a side order if garlic knots. Very happy with the order, pizza was delicious and so were thr knots. Definitely will be back for my pizza needs!

The dough is the perfect thickness, the sauce is flavorful, and the cheese is the perfect amount of stringiness. It even reheats up nicely the next day, which is a big win for me. The garlic knots are drowned in butter, which was a little too much for me, but past that they were delicious.

This places pizza is INCREDIBLE not to thick but also not to to thin & their ranch has to be homemade it’s amazing witch makes me order from there even more!!

I’ve been living in Greenwich for about 3.5 years and hadn’t yet tried Jay’s until today. I was pleasantly surprised. The pizza was very good! And the girls working there were super nice. My order was ready very quickly, and it was piping hot. Was also very affordable! Glad I found this place. Will definitely order from here again!!

I’ve never actually been to Greenwich New York, but if I ever do go, I’ll be sure to stop by this restaurant.

INSANELY good pizza for the area. the pizza here feels straight out of new york city. as someone who lives near greenwich, no exaggeration, i feel literally blessed to be able to order from here and have it delivered, lol. also fairly cheap!!! the 1 bad thing i can say is that their website has a 20 dollar order minimum for some reason, and it *always* ends up just shy of that with a medium pizza and a drink, but if you just order on the phone there's no minimum. tldr, this place rocks.

Ordered a large pizza, long story short they accidentally mixed up the pizzas, but when I went to return it they let me keep the messed up one (still a solid pizza) and gave me the one I ordered! Staff super friendly! I'm at the point I don't even have to say my name and they give me the correct order every time!

Ordered delivery. The bread sticks, are just a pizza crust doctored to resemble a breadstick. It's more like flatbread. Very disappointing and misleading.

This is second time getting take out from here. Pizza and wings are very good. There are pizza places closer but I go out of the way to get this. We had a birthday party for my grandson got majority of food from here. Definitely give them a try.

If you're looking for pizza in Greenwich this is your best bet... Small Greek salad is a total joke for the price....

Pizza is pretty decent, other dishes sometimes lack flavor. Good prices, but the girl at the front seems mad or displeased with her line of work everytime I go in. Restaurant is kept clean with several tables but at lunchtime it's hard to get a seat to eat in.

Every Monday, they have a special on medium cheese pizza! After tax, it's not even $7. It's such a great deal for 8 slices!

Decent wings, requested crispy and some still came out chewy. The pizza is pretty good but a little over priced for specialty slices presented on the counter. Menu and prices found online were completely different from in store so that was confusing/disappointing. Staff was friendly.

Bought a loaded small pizza, too many olives, needed green peppers, more onions, it was soggy by the time I got home. Should cook more. It tasted OK but was a mess to eat, grease soaked through the box.

Unfortunately the last few pizzas that I've gotten from here have been below their normal standard. I'm really unhappy with what I've been getting out of J's Pizza lately. I also ordered the chicken parmesan and complained about it and while they gave me another one it wasn't any better than the first one. The pieces of chicken that they gave you were so tiny they barely fit in the tiny pan that they gave you which used to be a much larger pan, and they raise the price. I certainly hope they fix this soon or else they're going to lose several customers

Have always heard great reviews about the pizzas at Jays. Perhaps it was the choice of ordering a Veggie Pizza, but this has no flavor at all. There was a lot of greens, but absolutely tasteless. Very disappointing especially after spending $30 for it. The crust was well made!

No prices on menus. Pizzas were meh. Honestly I won't be swinging in again. Go to little caesers at least you know how much it will cost to get disappointed.

Don't bother ordering a salad from this restaurant. You will get a dish of lettuce with a few small pieces of vegetables. Three different times a salad was ordered with tomatoes, cucumbers, olives, croutons. Emphasized don't skimp on the tomatoes, (or you will only get one or two cut up to look like more). Each time they left one ingredient out and skimped on the rest. Overpriced dish of lettuce is what you will get when you order a salad.

Quite disrespected after ordering on a Monday night. Had they been honest they could not keep up with business, would have went elsewhere... not the only restaurant in town. Called after 1.5 hours and was told to, "Make the pizza myself" by an employee that complained about the amount of customers they had to service. Took long enough to get ahold of someone at the counter, not much prioritization for someone just trying to confirm that our food is indeed being prepared. Management said order was on the way, followed by it had 3 more minutes in the oven... (which is it?) Delivered after 2.1 hrs and unnecessary dialogue with a kid at the counter **(Would not review negatively without consistent disapproval) **(Also did not pay for food after the hassle)

Asked for a steak and cheese 24 cut. Got a philly steak pizza. Kids wouldn't touch it with all the additional things on it. Called. Person on the phone argued with me. Was told I should've "specified", steak and extra cheese wasn't specific enough. Won't be ordering from here again, would of ordered from here again had the person answering the phone acted in a more professional manner rather than trying to argue with me and put the blame elsewhere.

After reading some critical reviews, I'm not surprised I ran into a less than friendly group of employees. I waited at the counter and nobody said anything to me. After a while, a shorter girl came to the register. I'm sure she's a nice person, but didn't come across that way when talking with her. Totally get it when people don't like their jobs, but then go find another one. Don't take that out on customers. Decided to leave.

Food is excellent but the delivery leaves alot to be desired. 3 times I've ordered for delivery and hour and a half later it is still not made...all 3 times I ended up just picking it up and when I arrived they said it was still not made. Better order at noon if you want it for dinner.

My lunch passed by all 3 of you and you still served it. .. you should be ashamed. Since you dont spend your time serving good pizza, maybe use the time to clean your disgusting fish tank.
