Relax
The café is located in a small plaza on 8 de Julio Avenue, next to the gas station. Although there is a toll booth there, parking is free. The place, although located in an area full of factories and warehouses, looks very cozy and welcoming. The staff is truly outstanding, attentive and friendly. Those who prepare the drinks have a very good touch, as they seem to leave them at their perfect temperature and flavor. Compared to other locations, this one gets an honorable mention. Just keep in mind that they're closed on weekends (Sundays are definitely closed, Saturdays I'm not sure). My recommendations are the Vanilla Chai Frappé with chocolate chips, the mocha jelly, and the chai. Here are photos from some of my previous visits.
Ok
Verity of coffee, milk, bread and burgers.. nice to spend time. Complementary WiFi is good for visitors
Despite having food on display, they don't sell it to you (cookies in this case). The employees' attitude was bad; specifically, when I asked for a base to take my coffees to, they said they "didn't have one for two coffees."
The service was very bad the times I've been, the girls at the counter were on their cell phones watching videos with headphones, and oddly enough, if you arrive late, they don't have several ingredients in the drinks. The location and parking are great, but I'll think about taking the time to get there because of the bad service.
The place and the staff's service have deteriorated considerably. They don't have large drinks, the shelves look empty, many of the drinks they offer are out of stock, the furniture is dirty, the glasses are unlabeled, and the waitresses aren't friendly.
They dropped it, the attention from the girls is terrible, there's nothing there! Everything is crossed out
The service is terrible, it's like they're doing you a favor. They don't have any food, and when I asked for a receipt, they literally stopped answering me.
The place is extremely neglected; they have no food at all. The girl who serves them really needs customer service and presentation training. The frappe was the worst I've ever had—no cream, just plain bad coffee. It was small for 80 pesos, which is really, really bad. There are no restrooms, and the one in the plaza isn't working. It's a shame that businesses like this don't try harder to improve. I sincerely hope they completely change their service and the quality of their food to attract more customers instead of losing more. As of today, I would only recommend this place to an enemy.
Terrible service!!! I greeted the girls three times and they never returned my greeting. I asked for sugar for my drinks and they didn't have any! The place was dark, as if to discourage customers. They had a terrible attitude; it's obvious they don't own the place. Besides, the facilities are deplorable! I'm never coming back!
Terrible service, run-down place… They have no food or variety of coffees, the place is filthy, there are no restrooms or internet, the staff don't know what they're doing, the drinks are poorly made… don't come!!
This has happened several times now when I've tried to order from Rappi and they always cancel my order AFTER about an hour. Very bad service.
Such disgusting service, they never have anything, they go weeks without being able to give you a drink. They didn't even have milk, they had to go to Oxxo to buy some, and they spend their time on their cell phones, the establishment is disgusting.
A chain in decline. They have nothing, more than half the menu was crossed out, and it was 4 p.m. There was no bread, just horrible cookies and packaged ones that looked like they were from a convention center confectionery break. The drinks taste mediocre, the place is dirty, and there's no bathroom. It was really disgusting to sit down. It's sad they have people working like this! Besides, it's expensive.
Black Coffee was one of my favorites, I've been there several times, and they have nothing, when it's not the cup, it's the straw, there are no frappes, there is no card payment, the girls doing their nails at the counter, terrible service, terrible product availability, and the only thing they tell you is there's the phone number to complain! THEY BETTER CLOSE DOWN IF THEY DON'T WANT TO SELL
First of all, there is no place to wash your hands in the place, I had to go to the bathroom in the square and the Guard would not let me in because I had not consumed anything in the square, being rude and disrespectful, since I showed him my coffee he allowed me to pass but the bathroom STOKED of cigarettes, which literally took away the desire to buy something for breakfast there.
