Absolutely amazing service. Javier is on his A game everyday. Domingo was at the entrance with a warm welcome tonight and before I could order a drink there were small bites at the table. Also, before I could order a drink, my drink arrived at the table because they remembered what I drank last time I was here. This place is really a cut above. Absolutely love Amatxi!

It was my first time visiting the restaurant. The music was great and the service very friendly. We met the owner who was very helpful and service minded. The food was a surprise, the aguachile just awesome, filled our palate with the traditional lemon taste and herbs. The tomate soup very tasty. The solomio stake amazingly tender, balanced in taste and the vasco cake exquisite. All the mixed drinks were great. Specially the diamante negro. It was a bit expensive but really worth it. Will come back every time I visit Guanajuato. My new favorite place. Highly recommended.

Just go… really, just go! The food was amazing, the surprise over the top extra things were generous and delicious, the dining room is beautiful, there is an outdoor patio area, the menu is intriguing, there is even a children’s play area, the first I’ve ever seen in a restaurant this nice…I had the Guanajuato-style Steak for $395 Center of fillet on caramelized onions and ancho chile relleno in a piloncillo mirror… and it was one of the best cuts of steak I’ve had in a long time and with just a little bit of spice and sweetness and well, just so so very good…

Amazing food, prices, drinks and entertainment. A magician named Oscar gave us the show of our lifetimes. If you're in the area, there is nowhere better to go. Our waiter Xavier was informative and attentive. 11/10 experience. Thank you AMATXI

Finally after 6 weeks of eating out, every meal, a restaurant that met my foodie standards in Guanajuato. Bravo to the cooks, bartender and our servers. Nice bar pours for my rye whiskey with an a square bar cube. Excellent espresso martinis. Little snacks ( apples with rosemary and pork belly cube) complementary. Beet salad was fantastic as was the giant pork shank for 2. So flavorful with the picante pepper and fresh tortillas. Excellent everything!!!!

Chef’s kiss! This is my second time dining here and I can say it definitely won’t be my last. All our entrees were absolutely flavorful! The ambience is very pleasant, relaxed with indoor or patio seating. I highly recommend Amatxi 10/10!

Soooo good! The amuse is to die for! Excellent wine from Valle De Guadeloupe! The pasta was excellent and homemade. Nice touches to every detail and a beautiful restaurant! 10/10

An amazing restaurant with great food! The steak tasted tender and juicy. Not sure how they cook it but it had a special flavor I really liked. It definitely tasted different and better than most steak houses I have tried in the U.S. The goat cheese mushroom had a little bit too much goat cheese but still tasted great. The salmon ceviche was just ok.
