We love this place! Warm donuts and kolaches hit the spot. No complains!

Donuts are always fresh and delicious here. My only complaint is that I wish they would update their online menu.

I come to here this morning and omg my belly is full so tasty and the chinese or korean lady there was so cute and nice to me it don't matter if someone is oriental black white or brown because if they can make a good food for big boss Rudy they are my hero and I even had money left to buy more of donuts to take to work so I will make everyone happy. It is important to make people happy with donuts when your a big boss like me.

Donut and kolaches that are miles ahead of other similar pastry chains. There is a drive thru, but the line can wrap around the small store. Also, a thing to note is that for credit card purposes, they code as "merchandise" NOT "restaurants" as you might assume.

These are the best donuts I have had in the valley, these donuts and the kolaches are really good. If you order inside and decide to eat inside you may get to watch the bakers making the donuts or kolaches.

This was by far the best experience I have had at a Shipley's Donuts the person who attended me and gave me my donuts and coffee provided the best and the most courteous service and friendly service I have had Brownsville has nothing on the Shipley's in Harlingen 10 out of 10 awesome food and even better service

I'm from Colorado but I work in Harlingen 18 days out of the month. Hands down the best donuts I've ever had. The donut selection is phenomenal and the kolaches great if your looking for something even more filling..The best part is how warm and fresh they are. You guys rock donuts!!!

My kids enjoy coming to the donut shop on Saturdays for an occasional snack. It's a classic donut shop! Way too many choices to pick from behind the glass counter. Friendly service and always fresh donuts.

I always enjoy a hot cup of coffee and donuts in the morning from shipley do- nuts. I highly recommend the Bavarian cream filled, raspberry filled, and the plain glazed. All the donuts are delicious these are just a few of my favorite that I personally recommend to try.

Super quick and friendly service. They had pur donuts ready before we even knew what we were ordering! Kidding, of course, but they mean business. The service is great!

Gotta love Shipley's, best tasting donuts in my humble opinion. To get their best experience you have to go early in the day before they are near their closing hours. This way you can get to see all the flavors of donuts they have. p.s. if you go to McAllen at their 24 hour location, their variety is really limited at late hours of the night.

Very friendly staff. Drive-thru was quick and easy. They have a huge selection and the coaches are the best! I got an old fave, a chocolate cream filled. It's incredibly sweet. It cost me 89¢. I topped the attendant a dollar. Feel free to do the same. It's always nice to try and pay it forward. The universe needs a little more kindness.

Shame we don't have one in Amarillo Texas. Bring a tear to my eye every time we make down south. Best donuts and Kolaches hands down.

Went in with my brother to get doughnuts for a family gathering. When we arrived, there was a line, but excellent service had it moving quickly, and when we arrived to place our order, the cashier was pleasant and apologized for having to wait. Excellent tasting doughnuts! Hot chocolate is pretty good too!

After workout in the morning, we stopped by this place to grab some breakfast and it was great! We ordered sausage kolaches and ham-and-cheese kolaches. Both of them are good as well as their coffee. They have a drive thru window, which we found so convenient for a quick grab and go.

The experience is very nice. I got 6 donuts, a kolache, a French vanilla iced coffee, and basically a long John. I enjoyed all of them. Can't go wrong with a classic glazed or sugar donut. I also love the cream filled donut. I'm happy overall :). Iced coffee didn't need any creamer or sugar. 😍😍

Good food and not just doughnuts. Good customer service. Only thing is that the parking lot gets crowded and if you park in the front them you get trapped by the cars waiting in the drive thru

More affordable than many other coffee and pastry joints but the variety is simple which is good for me but might irritate others who want everything under the moon to choose from.

I'll drive 4000 miles for a hi quality donut. Lucky Shipleys is only 5 min from my casa. As usual, the shop is owned and ran by Asians. I must say, they know their job. Donuts are always fresh and tasty. the staff are always receptive and work fast. The prices are normal for a donut shop. Location is easy to get in and out of. The shop does get busy. The drive thru line can snake around the entire shop. Much easier to walk in. The young ladies inside are always ready to assist U. Bottom line. Great location, super staff and a very hi quality product. Keep up the awesome baking skills.. Plotted. Scouts screening..

Their doughnuts are the best when hot, I call to find out to see when the have fresh hot doughnuts and show up at the given time and they never have the hot doughnuts when they say the do. All they can say is that they have freshly made doughnuts ugh!

Ok I love this place but that girl in the drive thru window needs a hearing aid. This this the second time I've been thru that window. Described exactly what the little cards say when you go inside and she still gets it wrong. I took my order home confident I had got what I ordered, I know you can imagine how upset I was when I got home. At least she got donut holes right. 😠🤬😠🤬

I love the donuts here! So we were excited to order the specialty box for Valentines even though it was going to cost us more. Sadly they were disappointing. They either had little jam or none. A major let down considering what we paid for them. We won't be doing that again.

Doughnuts looked fresh and staff was friendly at the counter. A few people in the shop, several at the drive up window. The location is rather difficult to access via car as it is in the corner of four lights, 16 total lanes. I did not like the texture of the doughnuts as they were greasy. The two wrapped in the center, were powdered sugared however you can see that it has disolved. The box shows the grease. IT - would not look good to bring home or work. I have to say that they are now soggy and chewy. So, you have to grab and eat it. Does not travel well.

I don't get donuts often, but this has been my go to place since late 90s. Lately, cake donuts have been soft (almost doughy) and carry low amounts of icing. They have started making their apple fritters like jelly donuts, and they are pretty tasteless. Walmart even has stepped upped their fritter game, so I guess I'll stick to making beignet at home.

today i had a really bad experience. the man that attended me at the drive thru window looked annoyed as soon as he opened the window. he was really rude and had an attitude. i was literally scared to even ask him what i wanted to order. when i left i said “thank you” and he didn’t even bother saying anything back he just shut the window. really bad service from the man at the window. i love the pastries but this service was really disappointing.

Called the donut shop today I am currently a patient at Valley Baptist med. This is Nurses week (so grateful) I explained to them that I want to Bless the nurses on my floor. Limited budget so I would like to order two dozen sprinkle donuts. I was going to need to have someone get them and bring um here. I call to place order o.k. No, whaaat No they will need to come in and wait in line. But they will be on their way to work. Then call Grubb Hubb or Favor. Is that all? Um, I did say nurses week right? Anhthing else. Me. Have a blessed day.

Lady was very rude an unprofessional. Felt very uncomfortable. Just because you’re having a bad day, does not mean you should take it out on the customers.

The donuts are fabulous always amazing and fresh! But the customer service sucks. The girls that work there have the nastiest attitudes! It doesn't matter if it's in the morning, afternoon, holiday whatever day it is...there's always a bad attitude flying around there! And if they say they don't have a bathroom one more time I'm gonna scream! You have a sit down place that serves drinks and food and you're telling me you have no bathrooms....REALLY....GET REAL!

Worst. Experience. Ever. I love Shipley’s, but tonight I was very displeased. As my wife and I drove up to the window I saw a woman in the back throw up her hands as if she was asking why we were coming now. It was 9:30 and they close at 10. I get it, the nights almost over and you want to go home. But when the woman came to the window to take our order she was just rude and when I asked for a certain flavor she just shook her head.. said no.. waited a bit and then said we don’t have that one. Just very rude. I honestly couldn’t believe it. Very sad and we left with no donuts.

I loved Shipleys but after today I don’t think I’ll be returning back again.. this morning I bought my girls some doughnuts through pick up and my 2 year old started choking while eating hers, when I turned to help her, I saw a longggg strand of hair and had to pull it out her throat.. I don’t have long hair nor is it blond so I was pretty bummed out. Kids love doughnuts, they choke easily.. it’s IMPORTANT doughnuts don’t have hair!! This hair strand was so long too! My poor baby 🥹

Front Cashier is rude she didnt give us the free donut and it stated free international donut on the flier on our table. We never went afterwards was a terrible experince. Its a shame because their kolaches are good and so is their chocolate.

This location's donuts were terrible! I love Shipley's but the one on Sunshine Strip in Harlingen was yucky. Donuts were nasty greasy. Not fluffy like other locations. This place should not use the Shipley name as they are NOT the same recipe as other Shipley locations.

For starters, if I'm ordering, please remain at the window without interrupting and allow me to finish. The Hot chocolate is not sweet at all and 85% water. You gotta be joking right? Smh. I'll never go there again. Now I understand why people talk bad about the place.

My family and I have been coming here for years and have never had a bad experience. Unfortunately today Teddy was extremely rude with a nasty attitude. He looked annoyed that we were there. It seemed like he thought we were so annoying for ordering there. We seemed to be such an inconvenience. I didn’t even want to ask for napkins because that probably would have upset him even more than us asking for an extra 6 donuts.
