Best ribeye steaks all around, flavorful and cooked to perfection. The cesar salad is fresh, always a good addition to your diet. Kids love the bread and butter. Beer and cocktails are always good. Wait, time is about 10 minutes, and the service is one of the best.

Just came here to give a shout out to our waiter Cairo. He's the best! AND should get a raise or bonus lol. He was very efficient and helpful through out ordering and refilling our drinks and bread, to getting our order perfectly. He for sure made my mother's day a lil more special and easy, since it was my 1st time going there alone with my kids. Food was perfect too. Thanks Cairo for being a kind and happy server! AMAZING!! We had a group of 7 waited about 30 minutes to get seated, which was understandable since they were packeddd. This was half of our groups first time at a Texas Roadhouse. Our waiter, Jamie, was FANTASTIC!! Give him a raise! He was polite, quick, kind, and attentive! He always took care of us and even took a photo for us! The food was DELICIOUS. 100/10!!

Ok I was visiting from Dallas. If you are in Harlingen tx you have to stop and eat at Texas Roadhouse. The service was by far the best we had since being there. Fasr service for a Sunday. We were seated as soon as we arrived. As i looked for an appetizer, the waitress mentioned that fried mushrooms were available, too!! Best choice ...for me. Steak was delicious, and the bread was fresh and warm, as always.

Remarkably similar to another nearby steakhouse chain, but elevated. The rolls and butter are better, the service is better, the food seems better because of the better service, and it might even be slightly less expensive. They also have applie pie. Front of the house is efficient, too. I haven’t had a bad experience with servers Alexa, Clarissa, or Aurora. Everyone seems to actually care, even at the end of a very long day. This restaurant is also just down the street from my home and not as big of a PITA to get seated for one (not at the bar) as a quick glance of the full parking lot might suggest. Good job, y’all.

I’ve been to several Texas roadhouse restaurants in Central Florida. But this one here really impressed me. The ribeye was seasoned and cooked perfectly and the margaritas knocked it out of the park as expected. It was very busy, but the staff was very proficient. Although I prefer to eat Mexican food one in South Texas I was glad we stopped here for dinner. I just wish I would’ve taken more photos Came back on 03-16-2022. Once again the 20 oz Bone in ribeye was seasoned and cooked perfectly. The old fashionend bourbon drink Was also perfect. Sam was our waitress and she was a 5 star. Look forward To our next trip to Harlingen.

All staff were extremely cheerful when greeting and seating, made me and my team feel right at home. The quality of the ribeye and bone-in ribeye we had was exceptionally tender and juicy, cooked to the exact temperature requested. Drinks and rolls were kept flowing and peanuts are back! What a great experience-probably the best roadhouse visit I’ve experienced! Kudos to the Harlingen team and our server, Darren! Will be back soon!

The three filet medallions were on the money! 9oz total. Also loved the sautéed mushroom sauce that came with it. And of course the baked potato and applesauce sides; all for just over $20! This location in particular was much more relaxed than my previous experiences at another location. 4:30 pm on a Saturday with no wait. Parking was fine, and there’s a large Big Box store right next door. Waiter was friendly as usual, and very helpful. A happy, energetic atmosphere. Fresh hot bread right away, with generous helpings of deliciously sweet butter. All in all, I will continue to travel the few extra miles for this location. 👍🏻 I’m a pescatarian🎣, but this is where I cheat.

Had the NY strip with a baked potato and Rattlesnake Bites to start — everything was great. The bites were crispy, cheesy, and had just the right kick. Steak was cooked perfectly, juicy and full of flavor, and the potato was soft and loaded just right. The waitress was in point. Solid meal all around. 9/10.

Easily my favorite Texas Roadhouse in the valley. I’ve been coming here for at least a decade now, and I can’t remember a time I’ve had a bad experience. The food is always fresh and SOO good! This last trip I ordered the Caesar salad and the lettuce was super crunchy and delicious. The fried pickles had a really yummy batter, and the cheese fries were great as well. The steaks are always super juicy, and our waitress was on top of everything. The hostess who brought us to our table was really welcoming and very friendly. Danielle was an excellent manager and was very keen on making sure our visit went well. Gabby, our server, was incredible. Aaron was also super helpful as well. I HIGHLY recommend this location in particular because you won’t get better food AND service anywhere else. 🫶 Wonderful!

We usually order curbside since it's usually packed but not today. Excellent service, the wait was non existent at the time that we visited (around 4-5pm) and I used the app to get on the waiting list prior to my visit. The food was uh-mazing as always. As soon as we arrived we were greeted by the friendy staff, were escorted to our table and provide with a basket of their delicious rolls and cinnamon butter. The waitress took our drink orders and also our sampler appetizer order. When she returned we were still not ready to order so she provided us ample time to decide and she did not pressure or rush us. My eldest son enjoyed the 1/2 rack of ribs with loaded mashed potatoes, buttered corn and a dr pepper; my youngest son chose to eat an all American cheese burger w a side of steak fries and a cold coca-cola. I tried the chicken fried sirloin steak smothered w white gravy, mashed potatoes w brown gravy, green beans and an unsweet tea. While we waited for our meal the manager came by to offer us some complimentary peanuts and to make sure my party was ok. The atmosphere was fun, it kind of resembled that of a family get together, where everyone's enjoying seperate conversations while good music is playing in the background. At some point during our meal the staff started clapping and singing. It was quite a show! We had plenty of left overs and were even provided with fresh warm rolls to take home! Paying was a breeze. They have this device right on your table you can pay and check out with. The whole meal was around $60-$70 including the 20% tip. We will definitely be returning.

What a fun place to celebrate my birthday. We started with the onion blossom and it was enough for 6 people! Then to a very nicely cooked steak dinner with a salad and veggies. We had to get a befeet box to take home the onion and steak. Service was excellent. Look forward to returning.

Even though it was crowded we were accommodated in about twenty minutes , every worker was kind and welcoming , floor manager also came out to greet and make sure we were happy with food and service. Excellent food, great service, but it was so loud in there I practically had to yell across the table. They have machines on each table now so you no longer have to wait for the check. Pretty handy.

As always all Texas Roadhouses are always packed but this one needs more coordination on how to make room for your guest that are waiting and not all in the entrance and look like a huge cluster F@#K! People that are called in trying to get through and people arriving trying to sign up. Its ridiculous. What was the sence of making that extra room to the left as you enter, open it so people can wait and the entrance be clear or tell them wait in your car till we text you it's time to come in. To plz cooperate and have the entrance clear. The waiting for food is long but that's fine at least it was cooked as I asked and not cold. I was satisfied with the service I cant complain abt my waiter he was very good.

While the food looked delicious, when it arrived it was cold. I mean it feels like the steaks were precooked because my meal came out within 10 minutes when the place was packed. They need to put proper portions on the loaded baked potato as well. My steak was cold and dry for a medium well cooked steak. Service was friendly. Atmosphere was great. Just the the last 2 times I have gone there the food has been cold. Serves also need to get trained. I had to keep asking for, fork and knife, spoon, lime, A1 sauce, and ext. Seemed like the staff was annoyed by me asking for these items. I just feel that they can do better on the food. At least microwave it behind my back.....

Amazing , but server Gabby sucked. We couldn’t find her the whole night, and as well we couldn’t even get what we wanted to ask before she would leave again, so rude and had attitude all night. She literally forgot to put in our appetizers too. She also looked like a mess. Maybe it just not her night but even then she should treat her customers with atleast respect and a smile lmao.

I've visited several TRH's across the country. As far north as Rhode Island and they all seem to hold about the same standard. Only issue I've come across is take out orders have something missing from time to time. Other than that, I love this place. I hold back five stars only because there is better out there in terms of better steak houses.

The food was great and the service was awesome. The restroom was filthy to where a feces was in the side of the toilet.

Whew, I had to shower after lunch. My hands were full of BBQ sauce, mixed with marshmallows and butter. It was kind of hard to butter my rolls, but I made do. No not really but...PUT SILVERWARE IN TOGO ORDERS!!! The to-go hostess was extremely rude. She was at the window with a customer and as I walked up when finished she just shut the window and came back after a minute or two. Didn't acknowledge me, ask me to hold on or anything. Plain rude and needs a job that doesn't involve customer service. Do better TRH.

We waited WAY too long after calling ahead checking in online and waiting outside. Arrived at 720 for 730 table we were seated at 850 didn't get dinners till 950 ten minutes before close and they made one steak well that was supposed to be medium rare.....it was the birthday boys. 🤦‍♀️ I don't eat meat so only ordered side dishes. Only to find everything swimming in butter and with meat in it.....greenbeans full of ham, steamed broccoli with bits of bacon in a puddle of butter....ordered sautéed green peppers mushrooms and onions in place of chicken ......they cooked it on the grill with the steaks.....covered in meat junk. I ordered rice it was ridiculously salty(turns out they use chicken stock).....I paid $170 for 6 of us.....and I didn't eat three bites. Not good experience. Birthday boy eventually got his steak and looked happy.

Ordered the steak Kbob, cooked medium. It arrived burnt/chared on one side. So returned it. Second one was cooked correctly. However, the meat had so much grisly fibers, I couldn't chew it and spit out part of most bites. Won't order ever. Flavor was okay. The fresh veggies - broccoli was very good, sliced carrots were tough and undercooked. Baked potato was fine. Music was LOUD! Might as well eat there by yourself. Because you can't hold a conversation.

My only and main concern. Is the entire staff has no hair nets. I say this because it's the main reason I hadn't came in a while. The 2 previous times we came i had hair in my food. I quietly expressed to waiter and manager took care of it. But I also mentioned that it wouldn't have happened multiple times if the staff would have hairnets. She said she would start making that a priority and I came today to try my luck, so far so good, but no hair nets....

Went for lunch at about 1:30, so it wasn't all that busy. We ordered 16 oz rare end cut of prime rib with sides and medium rare sirloin with shrimp with two sides. The prime rib was not an end cut and was not rare. The sirloin was medium, but the plate was not sent back for that reason. It was sent back because the grilled shrimp was served on two pieces of bread, despite being on the gluten free menu. By the time the corrected prime rib came out, the sides for that meal were no longer hot. The sirloin plate took even longer to come out and was placed on the table with the assurance that it was a "whole new plate." It was not. The steak was cut to check the cook on it from when it came out the first time, and now it was medium well. A manager came to apologize, and said we would not be charged for the sirloin plate which we did not eat because it never came out correct! We were still charged for the tea consumed by the person who did not get a plate. I guess we should be thankful we were not charged for the side of veggies that was consumed. We were offered a new plate of food, but that offer was made once the person who ordered the prime rib was already finishing their meal. There was zero consideration for the ruined experience for the guest who had prime rib. How fun can it be to eat most of your meal in front of someone who never gets a meal they can actually consume??? (Prime rib is not gluten free, so could not be shared.)

We went today at around 5pm and it was packed, but we were seated (table of 5) rather quickly. Our server was amazing. The food was not great 😔 My chicken fried chicken was okay, but the white gravy was oddly sweet. The mashed potatoes had no flavor except for the brown gravy that was on top. My husband ordered the BBQ chicken & ribs and they were soaked in BBQ sauce & the sauce was not great either. One of our kids ordered the steak bites and they were super tough (but she ordered it well-done). All-in-all, I feel like I won't be visiting with my family again.

The food was good, our server was great, but there were peanut shells all over the floor. I know this is how it used to be but there are buckets for patrons to put shells in. I use a cane to walk and slipped several times on the shells (causing great pain). I cannot go back to this location because I can’t be sure that I won’t slip on peanut shells.

While walking into the restaurant, I couldn’t help but notice the number of both booths n tables available n we waited for 30 minutes… After being seated, we waited another 15 minutes for the waitress to come and take our drink order. She was more concerned with helping the table next to us with 4 individual. She finally took our order n 15 - 20 minutes later the Manager himself (Adam) brought our order. We asked for an extra plate n it was dirty. When I told the Manager, he blamed the guys in the kitchen… go figure…. This place has terrible service n is highly overrated. Have you ever wonder, why all the servers hang around the registers?Check the pics, unfortunately you can’t see the dirty plate, but you can Adam, he’ll tell you, it was dirty.

Most of the times that I go here, the service and food are great...but not today! We went there for lunch today 5/17/2019 to treat my mother-in- law for a late mother's day treat. Our whole experience is a long story, so to make the long story short...our waiter forgot our drink orders a few moments after we ordered our drinks, he messed up my wife's order(brought her loaded mash with sour cream when my wife had ordered loaded fries with just cheese and bacon), didn't bring out my mother-in-law's salad so she had to order something else, we had asked for more butter for our rolls which we didn't get until 15min later, he over all took forever with everything even for ticket to pay. We were all late to work. Very disappointed with today's service. BUT! I will be returning because the have the best steak and ribs in my opinion, so well done on that end Roadhouse! Update, roadhouse still disappointing us till this day. The steaks used to be great, now they aren't. Too often it's either over or under done...I wish I had taken the picture off the whole steak, but it's because I gave it chance since I was hungry (first meal of the day)...it was beyond charred, it was burned🙃

To begin with, the location in question does not compare to my usual dining experience in Edinburg. Unfortunately, the restroom had a strong odor of urine, which was overwhelming & almost made me feel queasy. Furthermore, my steak order was dry && not cooked to my liking medium/well. Ribs were good & the rest of my food. I did find the waitress to be attentive with service.

Overall horrible experience I wanted to give the server the benefit of the doubt that it was just busy and that’s why my sons food was taking so long but I think he just forget to ring it in which is horrible my son was asking for the Mac n cheese the whole time and the server heard it also. Not to mention no manager ever came to our table which is the first time ever dining at Texas Roadhouse that has happened, idk if it had anything to do with our server taking the ticket off the table which is something the managers always do, but overall horrible experience and I was disappointed

Horrible dinner experience. Our server Natalie never brought out a single item to us. It was always someone else. It seemed like she didn’t even want to interact with us. We weren’t given straws for our drinks, no bread, among other things that went wrong. Everything took forever to come out as well. Food was cold and looked unappetizing by the time we received it. The place was fairly empty too so not sure what the cause was for the wait on everything. But what truly made the experience horrible was the lack of service. We usually have a great time at roadhouse but this was just not it.

Normally a huge fan of roadhouse. 99% of the time you can count on exactly the meal and service you will receive. You pay for the experience and overall a fair price compared to a high end steak house. Today is Friday. Catholics are unable to eat meat so my wife ordered the salmon. It came out cold in the middle and the raw pink color with uncooked fish. We sent it back. 20 minutes later it returned. The waiter returned and asked “was it cooked to your liking this time”. I get we say things we might not mean but asking for a fish to be cooked thru does not seem like a stretch. Nor does it seem like a fair expectation for it to be done correctly the first time. Then to follow up with maybe you just have unrealistic expectations about how fish should be cooked was just sad. No manager checked in. Here’s your bill. Hope you enjoy your cooked fish. See ya. Not an experience I want to repeat. In other words come for the steak and have it cooked the way you like. If you want your fish or I assume your chicken to be cooked thru make sure you say something. I didn’t take a picture of the raw fish but I did show the way it looks on the menu. It’s not pink for example or cold

worst experience i’ve had overcooked steak long wait for my up cook , host sat everyone in a corner when they had whole restaurant open was one first to walk in and first to walk out horrible. server was great tho

Food is good when they get your steak temp. Correct. They are always messing up on my order. I've been visiting this location for a long time and they still haven't learned to cook the steaks properly. Or maybe it's just my luck. 3 times sent back and still nothing. We need BETTER steakhouses around here

Texas roadhouse has always been one of our favorite restaurants. Today before going into work as a night shift nurse, my husband wanted to pick up a steak for his lunch break. I ordered food for myself as well and with the order I paid for an extra half dozen of bread since he was gonna stay at work and I was gonna go home and eat. We realized that they only gave us the complimentary bread that comes with the meal. There is absolutely no reason why I would call back and pretend that I didn’t get the half dozen of bread I ordered. Not only did I have to come back to pick it up because they messed up, the employee has the audacity to question my integrity by asking me how many pieces of bread did I get with my order when I picked it up. There’s a huge difference between four pieces of bread, six pieces of bread, and 10 pieces of bread. Nobody in their right mind would miss half a dozen of bread in their to go bag. I also specifically put in the order no celery sticks with my wings, and guess what, of course there was celery sticks with it. Definitely never ordering from this location again. I should’ve grabbed a photo of the order with only the 4 pieces of bread but it never crossed my mind that my integrity would be questioned.

Ordered two 12 oz ribeye plates and the first we got were flat, thin and overcooked. Went to display and chose better looking ones and got them bad. One was undercooked and the other one was tough and chewy, ribeye is a tender cut. One lady approached me a she could see what I meant and they were bad. Was offered a discount 🤨 paid and left, we didn’t eat them.

There was a bit of a wait today, but once we got sat down there was a manager going around checking on tables. She came to our table and asked if we needed anything. We said we needed silverware because we weren’t given any. She never came back or checked on us again. She kept on checking on tables nearby, but after the first encounter she ignored us completely. Which I found very unprofessional coming from someone in a manager position. This manager’s name is Cindy, unless I was given the wrong name from the hostess. This is the first and last time I visit this location.

While waiting for the food, a big and nasty cockroach walked across our table plus one of the T-bone was completely raw. The other steaks and sides were really good. Service was excellent but manager failed tho fix the problem or keep us happy! Female manager on Sunday afternoon Dec. 14-2025. Recommend restaurant but expect extra organic ingredients! 😋

1 star is still way too many stars. Cooks rarely disappoint, but the service is always abysmal to say the least. 1 hr waiting for food when the dinning room was at a 75% capacity. Manager right the wrong, kinda. She did discount the food but by then we were late for our daughter's vball practice we didn't even enjoy the meal.

My family and I visited this location and had a horrible experience from start to finish. Drink orders were screwed up. The food was cold and to top it off my daughter had a live bug mixed in with her macaroni and cheese. Management was very nonchalant about the whole situation.

Unfortunately this is the second time in this location that the waiter forgets my husband beer . Like half and hour we were waiting until I went to the open bar and was there sitting all this time .Because the waiter never went to check up on us . Only after I had to find her getting out of the kitchen to let her know the drink was there all this time and no one ever bother to brought it . We order the appetizer of cheese fries and was super super salty really gross, no one ate any of them . And the waiter was gone most of the time . We looked her up so many times to get refills and didn’t got none . I was eating with my coke all watery and very little . When I ask her to get me one , she brought me Dr.Pepper even tho I ask for a coke . Honestly I was very disappointed because we love this location cause it’s never packed and we drive from Brownsville to eat here . But this last two occasions were not to our expectations.
