Café Suizo

Hoy por casualidad hemos estado una amiga y yo en el Café Suizo y aunque no hemos comido nada de merienda tenía todo muy buena pinta! Hemos estado muy agusto, nos han tratado muy bien y nos ha encantado la decoración. Volveremos!!!

Un bonito café de época en la Plaza Mayor de Haro. Amplia selección de infusiones, seguramente un lugar también destinado a servir copas. La decoración muy bonita conservando parte de su antigüedad, si bien en mi opinión la nota discordante son las sillas, no le pegan nada a la preciosa decoración que tiene. Muy buen ambiente También dispone de terraza exterior. No puedo opinar de la comida porque solo tomamos café

Un lugar emblemático en la plaza Mayor de Haro. El personal, sobre todo el camarero (creo que el dueño) muy amable. La decoración del local es espectacular aún conservan partes en el local antiguas a pesar de que fue reformado. El precio es un poco elevado, pero es entendible debido a la zona en la que está y la antigüedad del local. Merece mucho la pena. El café está delicioso. Y es muy agradable tomarte algo ahí por La Paz que trasmite.

Un lugar muy agradable con una buena decoración y servicio. El café estupendo asi como la bollería. Servicios limpios que asombran por su bonita decoración. Lo recomiendo sin lugar a dudas.

Lugar acogedor en la misma plaza de la paz en Haro, ambiente de todo tipo y edades, decoración impresionante y con mucho gusto o por lo menos a nosotros nos encantó, fuimos dos veces tanto a tomar un cocktail, como a tomar un café, la atención, la música el local que te hace sentir bien y a la vez relajado, un sitio idóneo para disfrutar si te has pateado los pueblos de alrededor o bien no has parado en todo el día. Lo recomiendo sin lugar a duda.

Erik súper amable. El desayuno riquísimo. Hemos estado súper cómodos. Para niños y adultos. Atención excelente. Repetiría sin duda. Recomendación: tostada de aguacate y tomate. Te dan posibilidad de ajustar el desayuno a tu gusto.

Desayuno bueno y en precio más que correcto. El trato por parte de todos los camareros ha sido excelente. El bar es muy bonito y decorado con mucho gusto. La terraza resguarda muy bien del frío. Volveremos a repetir.

He vuelto a visitar este local ya que tiene nueva gerencia y he quedado gratamente sorprendida por la carta de desayunos, la tostada que he elegido estaba muy buena y el servicio ha sido muy amable. Sin duda lo recomiendo.

The way they serve you, pour your wine is fabulous. The mixed drinks are something to behold. The iberico ham plater sensational. Thank you for having outside space so we can visit with our little dog. It was so good we took the same route from Barcelona to Bilbao via Haro the following year just so we could drink wine and eat ham at this bar... it's the details. Thank you to the gentleman and lady who served us. Same both visits. You are sensational and I dont know how you hold the drinks tray with one hand while mixing and serving with the other. We always swirl our red wine now. The wine is delicious too. 🙌🏻⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

What a lovely place, Haro. This is a fabulous cafe, good food and wine. The deco is remarkable and the entrance to the toilets are not to be missed. Very clean and friendly staff. The owner of this establishment is such a gentleman.

Un lugar único en una plaza preciosa, de un pueblo icono del Rioja. Me gustó mucho la tapa de cortesía que nos pusieron con el vino. Todo un detalle que se agradece y hace que vuelvas. Al día siguiente tomamos el vermut allí con unas banderillas muy buenas. Nos encantó la puerta de entrada a los aseos y el recibidor...absolutamente precioso.💓

Estuvimos tomando café y dulces. Estos últimos los compramos en una pastelería enfrente que parece que es familiar del propietario. El local es precioso, parece que fue un antiguo hotel y conservan la puerta de entrada giratoria en la entrada al baño.

El local por dentro es muy bonito,vale la pena verlo, creo que está muy bien restaurado. El café lo hacen bien y los baños muy limpios.

It's open late, when most others are closed already...also on weekdays. It's quite a modern bar inside, pretty and stylish. But since it was nice weather, we took a table outside....there's plenty of them. Lots of booze, drinks, cocktails, beer, wine to choose from. One night we had some sloe liqueur, a specialty you can find plenty around here from different brands. It's a really good fruity, but not too sweet liqueur. Prices here are really fair....and boy, do they pour generous drinks. Would count as a triple in any other place! Not just the sloe liqueur. Other drinks too. Like the mint liqueur we've had the other night here. A huge glass. Just straight up liqueur with some ice. And the big glass was full to the top. A really good place to visit before heading home. And a great location on the main square as well.

A nice place to grab a drink and a quick bite while sitting outside in the main square. The service was quick and friendly.

Jueves y viernes excelente trato y servicio, en un local muy bien decorado con buenas copas. Pero el sábado incluso con menos clientela nos encontramos con un propietario arrogante y poco preocupado de su clientela. Negando el acceso a clientes pese a que el acceso era hasta las 2.30. Con el propietario al servicio este local no dura 6 meses.

Le doy dos estrellas porque la decoración y el estío del local llama la atención, y es lo que te hace entrar a dentro y animarte a consumir. Una vez dentro pedimos un par de consumiciones y ahí empezó lo malo. Además de tardar bastante en sacarnos lo pedido, cada vez que entraba un lugareño los atendían antes que a nosotros, y así hasta tres veces, y nosotros habíamos llegado antes. Por lo demás lo dicho, local curioso pero lo principal, la atención, muy deficiente.

Increible lo que cuesta dos cafes y dos trozos de bizcochos… me parece una vergüenza que cobren tanto por una racion… el cafe me lo compro… pero el bizcocho…

Nada recomendado. Primero se negaron a juntar dos mesas siendo 8 personas. Decían que estaba prohibido ¿?. En los Cazafantasmas no puedes juntar los rayos y en Cafe Suizo, las mesas. Nos obligaron a juntarnos los 8 en una pequeña mesa pensada para 4. Comodidad y confort máxima, gracias Cafe Suizo. Por si no fuera poco, la cosa mejora. Por fin, disponíamos a tomarnos unos ricos cafés y refrescos disfrutando de la paz y sosiego del sitio en plan relax time, cuando sucediose repentinamente un evento de schweppes y se acabo la breve paz. Teníamos al lado al cantautor y sus potentes bafles. El chico lo hacia bien, pero la alta potencia sonica de los altavaces destrozaba nuestros oidos y tuvimos que irnos, ya que ni nos escuchábamos al hablar. De haber estado a la mitad o menos el sonido hubiera sido mucho mas disfrutable. A todo esto 25€ de consumición. Poco precio a pagar por salir sordo y incomodo. Objetivo: tranquilidad y descanso, no conseguido. No recomendado.

Te cobran como en suiza de ahí el nombre. Y el servicio de terraza es mágico, solo hay que leer la carta. Primera y última vez, un fallo, la comida no era para tanto además así que no compensa, es más postureo que otra cosa. No sé ni si es legal cobrar así la tasa de terraza, una vergüenza. Que trabajo en el Rekondo en Donostia y no he visto esto ni en una estrella Michelin jajajajaja

Bad service and treated as a foreigner (was poured a serious small glass of wine compared to the neighbours) and still had to get our own drinks at the bar. Was told no bar bites are available, whilst others are eating those. Would not recommend.
