Typical EPL. Fast & efficient service. Dining area looked clean but had a slight funky sell (far North wall, center table). My order was fresh & tasty. I noticed they had an outlet in the dining area where someone used to charge his phone (I hope that was the intended purpose). To me, this added extra was a very nice touch as most fast food establishments offer free wifi but cap off all the outlets. In sum, I was a happy camper after having had a yummy lunch.

We ordered takeout on a family coupon. The chicken was well seasoned and grilled until the skin was crisp, but not burnt. The tortillas were steamed hot and the beans and rice made a really nice meal.

This place is great but unfortunately they made the permanent decision to remain drive thru only after covid became a thing. So the lines are long and makes it difficult when you go to get food during rush hours.

I've been sick and my first meal I wanted was El Pollo Loco. The chicken was really good. The mashed potatoes went down smooth. The chips weren't as fresh as usual. That was the only thing that sticks out. Overall...I still really enjoyed my meal!!!

I haven't been to this location in a while. My last experience was not so great. My order was not made to my specifics and there was nothing done about it when I reported it to management. I do however like the customer service of the few people I have engaged with. I don't remember the mange of the young lady who helped me the other night but she was very sweet and accommodating.

The service was good however the food wasn't to great. My chicken nachos were more chips then anything else. Not enough meat or cheese to classify that as a chicken nachos. However I will say that it was very good. The service was a little slow but our server was very polite and at least explained what the delay was caused by and he gave us a free drink to compensate.

For the first time, I waited long for my food, people that came before me got their food and left and I still had to wait a while. My daughter wanted to try the over stuff quesadilla and was very disappointed, because it was cold on the inside with way too much cilantro.

The food was good as always, i usually go by the drive thru but today I had time to eat here for lunch. The place was very dirty. Most of the tables were empty but they were dirty and the floor the same way, if this is how it is where people can see just imagine inside at the kitchen. This was the last time I come to this store, i bet that i can find a clean one close by. Not even using the drive thru anymore. Sorry

I frequent here quite often, I would say about 3x a week I eat here. I order these same items every time Double Chicken Tostada, Guacamole Chicken Burrito, Churros, BRC. Sometimes the food is on point and prepared correctly. Other times I have to go back in the store to have them prepare it over or get a refund. I am a fan of this establishment but the inconsistency of the cooks in the back has to change. I have received old and dry chicken on one of my items and was disappointed. The manager Victor is always so pleasant and understanding.

They cannot figure out the chips and queso... Sometimes you'll get 3 extra bags of chips and a teaspoon of queso, other times you get six chips (literally just got this) and a bucket of queso. Order a combo meal and a order of chips and queso and they take the liberty of only adding a side of queso to the combo. Muy confused here.

Ordered chicken tortilla soup and it was taste horrible. No taste of cheese at all, Ralph's tortilla soup is better than this! My wife ordered clam chowder soup and she said it is OK. Burritos are comes rapped in a an aluminium foil and it's soggy if you take home. I wonder why they cannot use paper to rap burritos; so burritos won't get soggy.

Service from cashier was good no complaints there. I quit going to this location because the quality of the chicken is not like the chicken served several or more years ago. Back then, it was juicy and nice size pieces but what my family is served now, the pieces look like they come from a mal nourished chicken, and even the tiny thighs and legs have dry meat. It may be another long time before I go back to this particular location. As much as I love the flavor of El Pollo chicken, I can't stand dry meat even if I get tiny pieces.

The lady that gave me my order @drive thru charge me and didn't give my card back. She had an attitude when I asked for my free guac n chips that I got for signing up in app. She was in such a rush and I totally forgot. I had to go back to the restaurant and ask for my card when i had already driven to my destination and became aware of not getting a receipt or my card. She didn't even apologize. The food is good. 2 stars because I pulled up to the drive through at 10:30 pm and they told me they were closed despite google saying that they stayed open until 11 pm. Bad customer service and something should be done about this issue. Unhappy customer.

First, they don’t even greet you, restaurant inside seems like a middle school cafeteria meaning, floors dirty, food all over the place, the cashier Emonie didn’t even say hi, just looked at me and waited for me to say my order, the girl given out the food had an annoyed face, for being the people that you see upfront it was not very welcoming whatsoever. Both cashier and girl handling the food has nasty energy. It will be my last time here. I tried to give it some couple of more tries but seems like management can care less.

But it did not hit the spot. All bad. Update: 11/1/19 I gave this location a second change and this what I received: worst nachos ever. I asked for sour cream and pico de gallo on the side, I received a container with broken chips very little chicken 2 micro drops of cheese beans a good size of guacamole. This location use to be my favorite Pollo Loco and now I don’t think I will ever return. These nachos were for my son, I had to get rid of the nachos and purchase something else. They should train their staff ,I asked for my chicken to be juicy and even i got my order my chicken was burned And I asked the clerk to change it for me and the CLERK GRABBED IT WITH ATTITUDE! theN THR COOK STARTED TO TELL ME THE CHICKEN WAS BURNED NOT JUICY, then the cook told me " if the chicken is going to be juicy it's going to be raw." So I told him that I've been to other pollo loca restaurants and they give me the chicken juicy, how I asked. The nerve of this man decided to look for pieces of chicken to replace the burnt one and the pieces he grabbed were still raw and uncooked! They started laughing after we were done dining! DONT GO HERE DONT GIVE THEM UR MONEY!

Ugh. I went through the drive thru and ordered a Fit Bowl, specifically the Double Chicken Avocado Protein Bowl As you can see, I didn't get any Avocado. The whole salad is a pathetic mess. I read something about cauliflower rice? Nope. This is disgusting. Definitely not worth the price. Don't waste your time. The description also said 'power greens' I definitely don't consider iceberg lettuce powerful 😂😂😂💀💀💀. WHAT A RIPOFF

Ordered the new double protein salad and double avocado salad and when I opened the salads they both had one slice of avocado the only difference from one salad of the other was cauliflower. Not going back again. It’s a shame they don’t give you what you pay for and because of the pandemic you notice these things once you get home and open your food.

Cashier in drive thru Rude and Manger. I went back to let them know about very small portions of chicken they gave me for what I paid. The manager ends up giving me another breast that look like it was cut in half. People pay too much money to be served portions of food like this.

EVERY time I Doordash a salad here they NEVER give me dressing with my order!!! It happened 6 times and I called the manager to get down to the bottom of it and he played dumb like he didn't know how to read or work Doordash. Told me just say there was an issue to get credit on the app smh. Fire the person at the window and maangers!

Came for a Doordash order. Manager here is a cranky old bat of a “lady”. Has no manners what so ever i waited 30 minutes for my order and told her about she had no answer but to walk away.Customer service is unbelievably bad. In matter of fact all workers here are trash not one of them would help me when asked how long will my order take. In general THIS IS THE WORST EXPERIENCE IVE HAD A RESTAURANT EVER ! DO NOT COME HERE ITS A LIVING HELL !

Completely unhygienic. Worker packing food didn't wear any gloves while handling receipts of multiple people, exchanging items, touching appliances. I saw a customer return salsas and the worker gave me the same salsa. They also forgot part of my order.

This store literally closed while I was in the middle of ordering my food at the drive thru. I drove around and knocked on the drive thru window because I was slightly confused why the lady just stopped taking my order. Some guy at the window angrily yelled "we are closed" and kept motioning me away. This happened a few minutes before they closed. Doesn't matter if your food is good or not because your customer service is trash!

Wanted to order drive thru but person on phone sounded rude. Drove off. Not ever coming back to this branch. Came here again, same rude attitude and ended up driving somewhere else to get food. It cost nothing to be polite. There are hundreds of other food places.

I just drove thru at this location and ordered a classic chicken tostada. My tostada had literally 5 cubes of chicken. I am so very disappointed. I went inside to complain and the same gal from the drive through told me that is what you get on a classic if i would have gotten double i would have gotten more! I am furious.

Terrible customer service!! Ordered a chipotle chicken avocado burrito meal, they forgot to add the chipotle sauce! Burrito tortilla was raw too. You forgive for $20 an hour, the employees will get there “S” together! DO NOT COME TO THIS PLACE!

8/15/24. Coming from a person who’s came to this location since before it became terrible, this place no longer has people working the register, people have to order using a kiosk, major issues since elders have issues using it, as well as long lines created. Customers including myself are wating way longer than they should be for their food, a taco 2 churros and chips should NEVER take 20 minutes. I shouldn’t be spending 1/3 of my lunch break waiting for these people to have my order ready, especially when I ordered ahead on my app. Not coming back again and I very much saw this coming when having to deal with rude employees that obviously hate their job.

Went in an bought a burrito and chips, the chips were like paper so I simply asked if could have another bag very politely. The young lady was very rude and said" thats all we have , they are all the same " . She threw them on the counter and walked away. She spoke with the manager in spanish. The manager provided another bag that was much better. Customer service stinks

the most incompetent and lazy people work in this restaurant. Don't even have the decency to apologize for wasting my time. Tell you the restaurant will be open in 5 minutes take 30 minutes instead. When you go to the drive thru to ask are they going to open they say they are closed. Then while you are waiting in the drive thru on foot why they told me they will be open in 5 minutes when they are closed. They don't even open the window and apologize for wasting my time.

Not only did they forget one of my pollo bowls but when I asked for my drink since they offered the combo the lady seem extremely bothered by it. Checked her receipt saw I actually asked for a coke and then handed it to me. Even after she saw her receipt she still didn't give me my pollo bowl. I will never come here again.

Drive tru Customer service Bad unprofessional un appropriate. I ask for more Salsa and Avocado salsa and they Ignored us. Although We spend mire then $ 100 dollars. Terrible Customer service.

This place is a cheat. For multiple occasions, the crew did not give me my full order at the drive thru. There were days that the churros i ordered were not in the plastic given to me. Today the quesadillas salad is not again given to me. This place is only good at 1 order at the drive thru. Every time i order multiple order, the crew always missed one or 2 of the orders. The Rosecrans el pollo loco location is the worst place to order drive thru. The crew are are not careful. I am so disappointed.

Worst customer service. The employees were friendly however never informed me on why my food is taking over 20 minutes and have SEVERAL people get their food quickly and leave. I ordered a double chicken bowl and after 20 minutes no word on when it will be ready. I had to get my money back and go somewhere else. Even the refund was clumsy as they felt the need to tell someone in the back that I was asking for a simple refund instead of just starting the process. I will not be returning. If I wanted service like this, I'll just throw money into a pit of fire and pray for a chicken bowl...

Have been here a few times most of the help is not qualified to perform their tasks correctly and it is not that clean. Came back the portion of the order completely bad the order was not right even after telling the clerk of their past faillures definitely the worst Pollo loco I had bee came back the 30 of December 2108 The chicken was old and nasty returned to were the clerk that if I got sick they were witnesses it took forever to get another so I didn't want it definitively the worst pollo loco in the chain please don't go to this location I had a bad experience and I got one worst returning.😰😢😭😢😭

Small pieces of chicken. Very overpriced for the portions. I don't know where they buy chickens from but the 4 wings I bought for almost $9.00 were only as big as my thumb. And the service is sloppy.

Pollo Loco at Prairie and Rosecrans, Hawthorne Cal. We ordered delivery through Postmates. The delivery was good. The problem was the food. We ordered legs and thighs. They were very dry and burnt. It was like chicken jerky. Horrible. We called to complain about it, but nobody answered, they just let the phone ring until it stopped. Twice. We will not return. Probably will not get Pollo Loco again either.

Cashier needs to pay attention to customer when ordering. I ordered a $5 dollar combo and was asked small or largre drink. I said is it same price, the cashier says I think so. I get my receipt and actually it is 20 cent more for large. They need to check first before thinking. Then another employee says oh it was a mistake. I said no mistake because she didn't care to check price first. Also asked for lemons and they forgot that too. Then gave incorrect amount of refund back.

Chiken was very cold like if it would have come out of the fridge. We order 3 chiken avocado salads and usually the chicken is warm but it was very cold.

Arrived today Sunday March 1st at 10am at the drive thru and the girl just ignored me and walked away I parked my car tried to walk in and another employee slammed the door on my face and said we are closed, I said it’s 10am she maybe in like 5 minutes we will open. Unbelievable I hope corporate looks into this location.

How do give no stars! 4 Ozempic Anorexic Wings for $9. The original owners should be embarrassed of the quality and preparation of the food they are serving. I've been to a lot of them in southern California and they all suck. Overcooked! Small cold wings. No quality control. CLOSE ALL LOCATIONS!

This used to be my main location and it was good at the start but they keep forgetting items in the order. It’s been a constant struggle with this location. Either they forgot something in your order or never have salsas. I’m going to drive a few miles more for a better service. Don’t get me wrong the food is nice. They have some great chefs.

Worst service ever! I ordered my food through the app and said 4-9 minutes. So I give it 10 minutes. I go inside and they give me the wrong order. I tell them my name and still ask what I ordered. I tell them. Wait another 10 minutes so they can ask again what I ordered. 10 minutes again I'm impatient and ask them what the heck where is my order and again ask what I ordered. Then they tell me no they don't have anymore carnitas. WHAT THE HELL! they couldn't have told me that in the beginning while waiting 30 minutes!! And they weren't nice about it either. I asked for money back and they ask for receipt I tell them I did it online and they can't find my order....this is so frustrating. While I was waiting the people were getting angry too their orders were taking long and there's 6 people on the line, no one on the counter because they have machines you can order with and a customer had cash which the machine doesn't take and she gave attitude because she had to take his order. Is this seriously what fast food is going to be like?

My family and I ordered to go, and they forgot a part of our order. My sister drove back, and once she came back to eat, she found a hair in her burrito. I had to go back again, and informed them but they didn’t seem to care. They didn’t even look in the burrito when I was showing them. There was clearly a red, long hair, the same as the woman in the front giving orders. They didn’t honor what I asked for, so I got another meal in place for the burrito. They also told my sister they didn’t have creamy cilantro sauce when she first ordered, but I received it with the tostada I got. Not sure why they would lie to customers. They all definitely took the whole situation lightly. A hair and two trips back to the restaurant 👎🏻
