I can’t say enough good things about this Chinese restaurant! Their chow fun is perfectly stir-fried with just the right amount of wok hei, and the salt and pepper fish is crispy, flavorful, and absolutely addictive. Every dish we tried was fresh, well-balanced, and clearly made with care. What really sets this place apart, though, is the staff. Everyone is incredibly warm and welcoming, and many of them speak multiple languages, which makes the experience even more accessible and enjoyable. Whether you're a local or just passing through, this spot is a must-visit for authentic, delicious Chinese food with top-notch!

Three other men and I ordered the Pot Stickers, Honey Walnut Shrimp, Salt and Pepper Fish, Chicken Chow Mein, Crispy Duck, and Mongolian Beef. Everything was well prepared with the right combination of flavors and textures. The batter on the fish and shrimp wasn’t light and airy like others places we’ve been, but a more satisfying crispy thickness. There are boxes in the restaurant, and the Xmas music wasn’t great, but the food more than made up for it.

We visited Great River Chinese restaurant, and were warmly welcomed with a nice pot of tea. The waitress was incredibly attentive and took great care of our group of four visiting from LA. We ordered Mongolian beef, chicken fried rice, and Westlake beef soup — everything was absolutely delicious, and the portions were generous. The flavors were spot-on, and we all left completely satisfied. Highly recommended, and we’ll definitely be back on our next trip!

Their food is really great, it tastes better than any other Chinese food I've had. Plus after you eat it, it doesn't make you feel bloated and guilty. Their mixed vegetables with shrimp is delicious and they don't take forever to deliver. I've never been to the restaurant but my family orders often,. I highly recommend this place.

Backstory. My partner and I have been regular visitors or semi-regular visitors to the IHOP next door for over 20 years. They must have been a lot of takeout because every time we went to IHOP there was hardly anybody in the Great River parking lot. Well we decided this weekend to actually go and check it out and funny enough, quite a few cars in the parking lot. We kept it simple because we really didn't feel like eating much. So we just got chicken and vegetables, and chop suey because it is pretty much all veggie, and a couple of bowls of rice. Everything was nicely cooked, the chicken was tender. Very nice lady waiting on us Yes we will return because we always like to find a nice Chinese restaurant where we can just relax and chill out for a while. We used to have one of those in Fremont but it closed. Sad to say so. We've been on the hunt for a while. A good find.

They do deliveries, so don’t use DoorDash or GrabHub if you want something from here, to avoid extra charges other than delivery fees.... and If you live close enough, the fee is very cheap. Hello I’m a YouTuber and I came in to try the food for the first time. I ordered the Mongolian beef which was a 10/10 we also ordered the bbq pork fried rice and fried chicken wings which were fried in a fish like batter and the rice was fried to perfection. However we did order one dish that was chicken and chowmein but we were giving a dish called pan fried noodles witch had thinly sliced chicken that looked undercooked the noodles were fried so they were crunchy and the sauce was very bland and it was a slimy sauce. We asked the lady if we can please exchange the dish as it was wrong and she told us no we can’t that we can order something else or get something else and pay half for the dish. Even though we did not touch the dish usually I’d get really upset because places should fix there mistakes and not lie or try to get more money from you witch was awful. However we still tried it to make the video and the only thing we were disappointed in was the effort that was not made to make things correct. This place would have gotten a 5 star rating however if you don’t order correctly you’re stuck with that dish or if they make a mistake they will not fix it . I give the food a 6/10 service 4/10. Mabe will try again
