Must have if you are in the Hempstead area. Busy corner location with few spots of single seating inside. This is the only place I will order pernil! I ordered the baked chicken lunch with rice, beans, plantains and vegetables on this particular day. I was happy to see they had Manzana which I brought home for my son. Food is always fresh, delicious, reasonably priced, big portions and service is quick. A line forms during lunch hours so go early!

So good !!! The food is absolutely delicious! I had the red beans rice with chicken and sweet plantains. The chicken was fall off the bone yummy. The rice is so good even though it’s basic white rice. In addition, I got the fish with black beans and rice. The flan was perfection for dessert! Great iced-tea and other drinks like passion fruit and lemonade with Spanish soft drinks are also offered.

I go here often and buy the family combo. Boneless fried chicken is good and onion steak. You get a very large portion of food for the price I believe is worth it. The second time I was at this location I was charged twice maybe the person who took my payment was unexpirienced with the payment machine. Nevertheless I dispute the double charge with my cc company. Overall the food is 4 stars the service is 3 stars they could be better organized.

Ordered for delivery, cooked well but nothing special. Order the Pernil Especiales, portion was very generous but nothing crispy bit or parts. Macaroni salad was alright and fries can't be messed up. With such a high rating I was deeply disappointed.

I always order here. it’s so good but sometimes They give me like two pieces of chicken and I pay so much money for the food ! so I be kinda upset overall good tho.

Good was not fresh.They charged me $18 dollars for Stew beef and rice. Fried plantains were blacked burned, looks like they cooked them with old oil. They they charging a lot money for food, food must be fresh and cook with clean oil.

Will only be ordering from american business's from now on. The fact that they state they are open until 8:30 but cancel my order on grubhub and now I have to wait 5 days for the money to be back in my account is unacceptable

I hope my son don’t get sick. The beans taste like 2 o three days old. And they give little food for a lot of money. I already got stomachache. with this food. It used to be good but now i have no idea what is happening with this restaurant.

Please be aware that they skimp on the family meals yes the FAMILY meals that are supposed to feed easily 4-6 people. A typical family meal is suppose to come with a large side choice of meat and a two liter this is what I got for almost $60 through uber eats. This is unacceptable.

This has been my goto for Mangu evey Saturday. But the cook must have changed. The quality of the orders have been decreasing. Today's order was out right offensive. The eggs were hard boiled, the cheese was almost black and tasted like the meat. The mangu was cold and tasted like it was sitting out. Who is allowing food to go out that way?
