Now I've only visited this location only once, but I've been to JLB before and they make some pretty good burgers.

The burgers at JLB Eatery are excellent—big, juicy, and packed with flavor! The service was top-notch, and to top it off, they gave us complimentary fried Oreos. A fantastic experience all around. Definitely coming back!

We tried this place once before 2 years ago and loved it so much we drove it he 45 mins over to eat and yet again the food was the bomb!! The burgers was perfectly cooked and the chili cheese fries were so delicious, some of the best I’ve had!! The hubby got the spicy chicken sandwich & the onion rings were hugh and perfectly cooked!! I e will definitely be back!!

It is a shame not many people know this chain. Every single person I take here ends up loving it. They have Texas-sized serving sizes for every single menu item. I’ve tried burgers, tenders, burritos, and their dessert options. I haven’t been disappointed once. I am posting a picture of their tenders with my hand for size reference, look how humongous these tenders are! Also attaching a menu just to show you they have something for everyone! They even have fried Oreos!! When have you ever had fried Oreos outside of a festival before??

JLB Burger Joint exceeds expectations with its mouthwatering burgers that boast a perfect blend of juicy, flavorful patties and fresh, high-quality toppings, not to mention its humongous size!! The ambiance is inviting, and the service is excellent. Since they make the buns in-house, it puts the flavor on a whole different level, making it a must-visit for burger enthusiasts. The extensive menu caters to diverse tastes, ensuring there's something for everyone!! (Their Cajun Fish Fry is amaaaaaazing as well!)

Another update (12/24/23): my group had another private party. Bigger group than the last year’s. The owner was able to pull off large orders and everyone was happy with quality and quantity of the foods. Highly recommend for big group eating out. UPDATED (12/25/2022): Christmas private dinner with family and friends. So many variety to choose - actually it was not tough because all of us shared everything. UPDATED (6/2/2021): what a surprise when I adventured to order a Buffalo Ranch Chicken burger. It is a pile of chicken tenders with Buffalo ranch south and potato tot. Very flavorful and delicious. Churros is a good desert to finish the meal. UPDATE (11/8/2020): so much fatigue to wait for the election results, I didn’t feel like cooking Saturday lunch. So I decided to take out some burgers and fries from JLB. I called ahead so that I didn’t have to wait. It was a quick in-and-out. When I opened the boxes (6 of them) at home, it looked so fantastic. We sampled a quarter per different burgers. Everyone agreed these are indeed the best burgers. Burgers are more like soul foods to me and I felt way better after all. Great job! JLB. Please keep it up. So much delicious food ! It’s both quality and quantity. My wife and I worked on a JLB burger and still could not finish at once. Next time, I will visit empty stomach 🤗 It’s indeed the best burger in H-town!

Tried for the first time about a month ago with my 2 boys and we LOVED it! Prices were reasonable and everything was hot and seasoned well. I had the fried pork chop and boys had wings and a burger. The burger was HUGE! We were even offered a sample of fried oreos which were delicious and led me to order the second time I was there. At that time I ordered the chicken tenders and those were also very large. Also the bathroom was very nice and clean. Will definitely be a place that I frequent.

I recently tried JLB Eatery on Stella Link and I’ve got to say—I was pleasantly surprised. I’ve heard about the place from friends who love a good, oversized burger, and now I totally understand the hype. This place knows how to do comfort food right. First of all, the portions are no joke. I ordered their Crazy Burger, and wow... it was massive! It’s got two big Angus beef patties, bacon, grilled onions, cheese, and a mix of sauces—all stacked between their homemade buns (which are soft, fresh, and super tasty). Honestly, I couldn’t even finish the whole thing in one sitting. It’s definitely a “come hungry or take some home” kind of meal. Their menu isn’t just burgers either. I noticed a solid variety—chicken sandwiches, wraps, shrimp, wings, even dessert options like funnel cake fries and chocolate mousse. You can tell they take pride in the food they serve, and a lot of it is made in-house, which I always appreciate. I also got a side of onion rings, and while they were crispy and golden, I found them a little heavy on the batter. Still good, just a bit too much for me. The vibe inside is casual and cozy. It’s a seat-yourself kind of spot, and the décor is simple but welcoming. The chalkboard menu and kitchen-style signs give it a nice hometown diner feel. The staff was friendly and helpful when I had questions about the menu, and they made me feel comfortable even though it was my first time there. Now, the prices. At first glance, I thought things looked a bit pricey, but after getting my food, I realized it was worth it. The portions are huge and the quality is legit. You’re definitely getting your money’s worth, especially compared to some other burger joints that charge the same for way less food. The only reason I’m giving JLB Eatery four stars instead of five is because a few small things could be improved. The sauces on the Crazy Burger were a little too much together—maybe just pick one instead of both Thousand Island and mayo. Also, the pickup system could be more organized. They don’t always call your name clearly, so it’s easy to miss your order if you’re not paying attention. Overall though, I really enjoyed my visit. The food is bold, flavorful, and made with care. Whether you're in the mood for a giant burger, some shrimp, or even just a sweet snack, this spot has something to satisfy. I’ll definitely be back—maybe next time I’ll try one of their wraps or chicken sandwiches instead of attempting to conquer that Crazy Burger again! If you're in the Stella Link area and craving something hearty, homemade, and filling, JLB Eatery is definitely worth checking!!!

Nice little spot that I found while my truck was being repaired. Had the patty melt combo. Patty melt was really good with decent portion size. I got curly fries instead of regular and recieved an uncharged I wasn't aware of. Other than that, nice find to pass some time.

My cousin invited us to this place to eat together. Did not have high expectations, but was pleasantly surprised. Ordered the basic cheeseburger combo. The portions are big and will more than likely fill you up. The burger and fries were delicious, however my burger was too greasy making it hard to eat (2nd picture). The man working was very generous and gave us fried Oreos. They were so delicious we just had to order some more. I also took a chocolate mousse cake home, but it was not my favorite and way too sweet. Overall, I would come back especially for their fried Oreos.

Paid extra $3.50 for a hamburger combo, which comes with fries. Wanted onion rings instead and was charged another $3.29 so almost an additional $7.00. Not that big a deal, but the onion rings were very oily / greasy and I could not eat them. The onion rings at JCI are much better.

My son loves this place, he finally took me. To me it was just ok, I had the seafood combination. He had the buffalo chicken sandwich.

Been here twice on recommendations. The last, was for fish & chips. We chose to try and share both offerings, traditional and Cajun. Both were poorly prepared and crushed my hankering for fish & chips. We also got a burger as a side since we shared the fish & chips. It was so salty, thought my ankles were swelling up as I ate. Believe the biggest issue here is a lack of kitchen staff. It is obvious that the kitchen is overwhelmed by wait times for simple orders, resulting in luke warm and ill-prepared servings.

When I am in this area, this has been one of my favorite eateries. I dropped in for lunch but I was terribly disappointed. The food was great but cleanliness was a huge issue. First, the floor was slippery and sticky. I tip toed around to avoid falling. The next issue I encountered was when I was searching for a table. All of the tables were dirty. The young lady behind the counter only took orders. She did not do any cleaning. In addition , she was not friendly. I asked a man behind the counter for help and he cleaned the tables. During my visit I spilled my drink. I told the young lady and she did not respond. At this point, I just wanted to eat my food and get out of there. Therefore, I put paper towels on top of the spill and uncomfortably ate my food. As people left, the tables were not cleaned even though new customers were coming in. The floor had trash on it too. I did not enjoy my visit today.
