I had the Tacos El Carbon and they were fantastic. The meat was tender and very favorable. It comes with three but I could only finish two. I had the house Margarita which while premixed was very good. I live in AZ where we have aot of great Mexican restaurants so wasn't sure what to expect on Long Island but it was a great choice.

I live in Colorado and the Mexican food is Great so I was so happy that my return to a favorite of my past didn't disappoint 😋. Great food, great service and staff. Went here with a large group of family and the food and staff are amazing. I highly recommend this place. So much food for a great price. When you cant see the plate as it has so much food on it you know youre in a place that cares about the customer. I walked out of here stuffed which I love. The family loved their food too.

My fiance and I went here for dinner for date night on 10/04/18. And I have to say the food was amazing! The wait staff was very good and very attentive. Our servers name was Manuel and he was awesome!!! He was a very good conversation keeper and he was also very good at listening. I got the chimichanga and my fiance got the burrito. We both would highly recommend! The shredded beef was flavorful and not only that but the portions were huge! Cant wait to have dinner here again!

Just came back from Pancho Villa's with my wife and it was everything you could ask for in an Authentic Mexican Restaurant. We walked in and were warmly greeted by our hostess which made us feel comfortable. This place has great service, a friendly owner, and delicious food, drinks and dessert. I would highly recommend Pancho Villa"s and can't wait to go back again!

Surprisingly huge selection, far better than Besito! We would highly recommend it for anyone who is truly interested in authentic Mexican cuisine. The service was top notch and the food was delicious. The Sangria could have had some more fruit but even so, tasteful.

The worst Mexican restaurant I have ever been to, hands down: overpriced, blended food, poor presentation, very cheap serving, watery drinks. Servers took over 20 minutes to ask for our orders, and were pushy, like they were in a hurry and wanted us to eat fast and leave. I give it 5 stars so it can be on top of the reviews, and people can read it. I do not recommend this place.

If you are craving an authentic Mexican meal, then it doesn't get much better than coming to Pancho Villa`s. The ambiance is lively; the staff is warm and friendly. We started with Guacamole prepared table side. It was deliciously prepared with care. We opted for Chicken quesadillas, Chicken Enchiladas, and Grilled Steak Tacos. Our dishes came with sides of rice, onions, and a healthy rollup of guacamole. Every dish was cooked to perfection! I would be remiss if I did not highlight their white rice. Never have I tasted rice so flavorful, so I had to ask their secret. Made fresh twice daily, they use the stock made from cooking all their chicken. Savory, sweet, and just the right amount of salt made this a special item to take home and enjoy with any meal. Again, a visit here is enjoyable and bring a hearty appetite. Plenty to share with the whole family!!

Liked the food we ordered! The Resturant is quite loud, good with kids and family. We went with family so we did not take any pics. Stake was good. So as the jalapeño peppers, mahi-mahi, fish, churros and ice cream.

Good food, friendly hostess, but the waiter was inattentive and rude. We will be back , but will ask for a different server.

. It was actually one day before my birthday, so I chose to come here for the margaritas. Was glad I did. I ordered the blue curacao margarita, a couple of my friends and coworkers ordered the jalapeno, and a couple ordered the watermelon ones. We were all pretty happy with them. We also ordered the sampler appetizers which was great to share, plus a salad. Will come back to try lunch or dinner.

This place is not ideal for those seeking authentic Mexican cuisine. The food here is more of a Tex-Mex style, and while the drinks are good, the service leaves much to be desired. The overall cleanliness of the establishment is lacking, and it could definitely use an update.

She was knowledgeable, professional and super friendly. Victory was also very good. We truly enjoyed all the wonderful flavors that were delivered with each meal and appetizer. I have been here before and the food is always very good. Tonight was the same, it was also nice and festive with people getting back out. I did get a meal that came with an option and I took the chicken soup that I never got. I would also like to recommend a little Mariachi band on Fridays and Saturdays to add that touch. Other than that I really enjoyed it. The margaritas were great also. The place was clean and served quickly. I would definately recommend. The price is pretty decent too.

Many folks have posted good reviews for this place, but if you look deeper, you'll notice that there are quite a few negative reviews. I was going to post a 2 star review, however, I've been here a few times and the food and service were both very good. The last time I was there, however, not so much. The service wasn't the greatest. It took a very short time to have our orders taken, however, it was about 35 minutes or so before we were served. The food was just ok at best. My plate arrived hot, yet the food was kind of cool. I did not like the refried beans. My wife's meal was wrong, and the desert was not as advertised in the menu. Our waiter, while cordial, did not seem too enthused or apologetic with our complaints. I'm a firm believer in if you are unable to take a customer complaints, perhaps the hospitality industry is not right for you. I will most likely never return.

Fair overall. Decent ambiance. Nice booths. Very inconsistent service. From friendly and attentive to mild attitude and inattentive. The food is “good,” but not amazing. And charging for refills of soda at a casual restaurant in this era is enough to make me avoid after a couple of dozen visits.

We had my birthday dinner here it used to be my favorite place. The rice was as hard as a rock and the fish was dry almost as if they made it another day. I was really disappointed.so were my guests.

Very good restaurant for the upper middle class and rich folks. You couldn't afford to eat here if you were an ordinary Joe. The average dish costs $26 to $36 plus tax, credit card surcharge, and tips. Three margaritas and three entreas cost us $176. Too rich for my family. Restaurants now a days are charging whatever they can get away with. I would rather do a 5 course fixed price of $59, at Rothmann's steak house in East Norwich or at a Ruth's Chris!

The place is cozy and pleasing to the eye but the food and staff is underwhelming. We waited about 15 minutes to be seated which is not normally an issue except there were a number of empty tables. Once seated we waited another 15 before anyone took our drink order. Felt everything was under seasoned...the chips were bland and the salsa was possibly canned/jarred. The portions were large but nothing to write home about as far as taste. Loved the atmosphere with its openess and side walk seating. Wanted to like it more... won't be running back there any time soon.

Decent Mexican option in Huntington. We go because it's the kids' favorite. Pretty extensive drink menu, but the basic margaritas are very basic and seem super fake (fake juice?) To get a good drink, you need to upgrade to one of their specialty margaritas or other cocktails. I do not recommend their chicken taco salad. Had it for the first time recently and was not happy with the lack of lettuce. Couldn't really call it a salad. On the plus side it did have a decent amount of chicken on it.

I went there for my brother and sister's birthday, and the food is great. (Black bean soup is delicious) And watching the guacamole being made in front of us is so cool! I had a strawberry daiquiri which I enjoy the most! The only flaw is the spacing of the restaurant. It's pretty cramped when the place is packed full of customers. I would recommend this is anyone who enjoys authentic Mexican food!

It has been a while since we dined here. They had made some renovations to the main dining room. Service was fast and friendly. Had an appetizer, two drinks and three entrees which averaged a little over $50 per person. Food was not as good as it used to be, lacking in seasonings for flavor. Service got this to three stars.

We ordered a coupe of fajitas burritos. Fajitas were ok but burritos were anything but a traditional burrito (some badly cooked protein wrapped in a small tortilla). Salsa for chips tasted and had a consistency of a store bought product. Some food came with a choice of soup or salad. Traditional American chicken noodle soup and salad with ranch dressing are not exactly Mexican.

At first the place looks good really good to be honest but is just the face. We get there the people at front really nice the lady that welcome is nice but them they sent the waiter and that man was other thing making face with the other and no nice at all. them they burn my son fries and my other son hamburger was dry and me the stake was dry and no soft . The other plate stake fajitas was good that one was excellent big plate and the others plate the meat was dry also . I won’t recommend this place.

We waited 20 minutes to be seated, another 20 minutes before we had menus in front of us. Overall we were there for about two hours when it should have been a quick lunch. The server made an extra effort and brought us another round of drinks on the house, which saved his tip but didn't rectify the overall poor experience. Fish tacos were fine but chicken taco salad bowl was very bad. Nice decor but poor quality of food.

This place seemed really popular and the food smelled really good when we walked by, so we decided to grab a seat and try it out. Unfortunately, the black bean soup was flavorless bean juice, the salad was drenched in a puddle of dressing, the calamari was soaked in a weird Asian-fusion sauce, and the meat was dry. Interesting, dimly-lit atmosphere, but the food wasn’t great. It certainly smells a lot better than it looks and tastes.

I've been here about 5 times now. The drinks are decent but that's probably the only thing I genuinely like about this place. I'm vegetarian, lactose intolerant, and gluten intolerant. This makes eating out very difficult for me and any restaurant staff. My first time here I ordered a side of black beans and rice which came covered in cheese. I felt bad for sending it back but the menu said "black beans and rice" so I assumed that meant only black beans and rice. Since then I've made sure to specify no cheese when ordering, but 3/4 times I received cheese anyway and had to send it back. I went back again last Saturday night. It was very busy and we had no reservation so my boyfriend put his name in with the hostess and we were told it would be 25-30 minutes for a table for 2. After about 15-20 minutes of sitting outside (there were already a ton of people standing around inside) we decided to check with the hostess for an updated time. my boyfriend gave her his name and she said "um its only been 17 minutes..." at this point we told her to take his name off and that we'd be eating elsewhere. She wasn't busy talking to anyone else and considering we were over halfway through the wait time she gave us it seemed like a very easy question for her to answer. I don't think I will come back here. It's good, but not ~that good~

I never liked this place since, it must be over 10 years since I seen the roach crawling up the wall. My friend wanted to try it out so we headed their. I wasn't hungry so my friend and I ordered their black bean soup. It tasted like canned beans poured in a bowl and heated. Their guacamole was sub par. I was offered chicken soup in place of the canned beans. It was better, reminded me of Progresso Chicken soup with soggy noodles. My friends dad passed away earlier that day so I was just being there for my friend. Overall the food was bland and overpriced. I didn't see any of my friends crawling around.

Friends ordered drinks, he forgot and came back a while later to retake their drink order We had salads with our meal, never asked us what dressing we wanted until way after the.salad was brought out and we asked. Kids had sodas with their meals, never took that order until we asked and we made them all the same to be easy on him. Didn't get those until we asked for their drinks again as well as their ice cream. Seems like their service has gone downhill.

Food is decent BUT BUYER BEWARE! They do not offer free soda refills, you have to pay to get sour cream (even a very small side is around $3) and 4% charge for a credit card (which they don’t bother to tell you when you give your credit card to pay). I ordered a meal for $18 plus a coke, ended up paying $43. Felt very taken advantage of. Will never go back.

Used to be a great Mexican restaurant. Now they use canned questions instead of real cheese for their $19 cheese enchiladas. $19 for some beans, rice, 3 tortillas and cheese? I grew up on PV, but it needs to find its soul again.

A meal that was mediocre. Price was premium. Atmosphere lively. Overcooked sizzling fajitas. And when we got our bill a 4% surcharge for credit. Apparently it was missed in the menu because of the advertised fajitas we were prepared for. Overall a mediocre experience at best when the atmosphere and surroundings prepared you for something a little above the bar. Oh yeah, a side of sour cream is 4 sheckels. Spend your money somewhere else for a better experience in Huntington.

Food was not good- low quality- dry meat- not much care taken with preperation. Lack of flavor. I don't know what happened tonight, but it was not good. Started off by waiting 45 minutes for our table. 6:30 reservations, seated at 7:15. Drinks were served, margarita came with salted rim (asked for no salt) it came back with no lime wedge. Ok, maybe I'm picky here. We got some tableside guacamole, ordered medium, and it was mild. Blackened shrimp app was good, i ordered mahi-mahi which was also good, but wife ordered taco ranchero which was supposed to be 3 tacos with some special kind of sauce and rice and black beans. They brought out 4 tacos with nothing else. So we complained and waiter said thats what we ordered. Made him bring us menu and showed him this was not what we ordered but he kind of shrugged and brought a plate of rice and refried beans. Manager came over next and he was no help. Finally they hit us with the cash discount scam which is really a credit card surcharge of 4%. Please call it what it is and don't try to be cute. If you want mexican, go to Besito. Better yet, go spanish food at sangria 71. That place blows this away.

Went to this place for the first time. The drink I had was jalapeño margarita which was decent. The appetizers were not that bad. We had the made to order guac, wings, blackened shrimp and jalapeño poppers. For entree, we had hard chicken tacos and chicken fajita with spanish rice and beans which we didnt like much as it had no flavor. We didnt enjoy the food as much as I thought. I will not be coming back to this place.

Went there for a quick bite to eat and was fairly disappointed by the service. We were sat in a crevice in the back when the restaurant was fairly empty so that was a bit odd. Didn't get to order food because our server was confused by our drink orders so the bartender comes out to explain something about the drinks and the prices.. super condescending about it as well trying to explain to us about what goes in certain drinks and what doesn't. He has a right to his opinion so we left it at that. The server comes back after that and ids us all even though previously he had ignored my drink order, takes it to the back somewhere and then finally comes back (I've never been to a restaurant that has done that so I'm not sure what they need to take my ID for?). It takes forever for them to come with the drinks and we still had yet to order food. The server is yet to be seen again and a bus boy helps us for the rest of the night. We were frustrated at that point so we decided against the food and decided to go to crabtree down the street instead. So when we ask for the check and we pay, we start walking out and the bartender stops us because he thought we hadn't paid. the server checks that we left the correct amount and only then are we allowed to leave. Over all it was an unpleasant and disappointing experience. I'd recommend any other restaurant down that street maybe even McDonald's before I'd recommend that place.

We have been regulars a Pamcho Villa‘s for the previous 25+ years. We go back about three times a year and have always enjoyed it, especially the margaritas. The price was always reasonable. However, we went there tonight and had a extremely negative experience. To make matters worse when I brought it to the managers attention he was defensive and lied and was very rude. We had a bill that was $87. I brought it back to them and told him there was a mistake. 10 minutes later they came back. I gave them my cash, and at least 10 minutes later they came back. My two-year-old son who was ready to go 10 minutes before and was at this point unable to be restrained so I was dealing with this as well, unfortunately. I thought I would bring it to the manager’s attention on my way out. I stopped and spoke to the young woman that was seating people and asked to speak to a manager. She pointed to somebody that was sitting in an empty booth two booths away from the entrance who had been on using his phone. He looked familiar and I think I’ve seen him in here many times before. I told him what I had experienced with the 30 minutes of delay it took to pay my bill. he was very rude in response. I asked him his name and he refused to tell me. At that point I told him we would never come back and I’ll be sharing this information with all of my friends.

The food quality has greatly deteriorated and prices have skyrocketed from when I was here pre COVID. The food was bland and overcooked. One dish was rice and peas with shrimp. The shrimp was tough. They were overcooked. The rice had a funny taste like it was cooked in coconut oil. The peas were shriveled; not fresh. My husband's dish was grilled chicken and refried beans. Two entrees, quacamole appetizer and two coronas cost $90.00! I wouldn't complain of cost, if food quality was excellent and fresh. It's shocking how this restaurant has deteriorated. Service was very good. Not enough to justify coming back.

Went with my girlfriend and the waiter was extremely rude/inattentive, he did the absolute MOST to avoid us. We were super friendly and actually looking forward to going! I felt super uncomfortable the entire time after meeting him when all I wanted was the enjoy a meal with my girlfriend. The waiter never brought us our drinks/food/check. Didn’t even check up on us throughout our visit. We had to constantly ask the busgirl for favors and I felt terrible because it was obvious that she was busy! This place is DEFINITELY NOT “LBGTQ Friendly”. Would not recommend unless you wanna be made uncomfortable for just loving someone.

Nearly Two hours. We were here for two hours. We waited 35 minutes for our food. Coming out of lockdown, my family and I were happy to see places reopening slowly. We decided to go to PV because there was no wait and it got decent reviews online. The issue was not the staff. The staff was polite, although our waiter took down our orders and we never got our appetizer, and two of our entrees had the wrong meat in it (chicken instead of beef). But after waiting so long for food we just said, let it be and let’s just eat. The food was quite honestly near horrible. The food tasted microwaved at best. For the price, you get what you pay for, but truly Taco Bell offers you a tastier meal. We got enchiladas, chimichangas. Standard. I don’t understand how they messed up the food so badly but they did. If this place wants to continue to operate just use fresh ingredients, period. Because honestly, it was just nasty and I pray we don’t get sick.

Me and my wife have been going to Pancho Villa for years. I noticed they charged me a six dollar surcharge on my credit card. This is so ridiculous I don’t know why they don’t include it in the price of the meal we had five margaritas appetizers and two entrées and they have the audacity to charge me six extra dollars. Wino, Pancho Villa charge me for the salsa for the chips and the steak knife to cut my steak. Sounds ridiculous so does the extra 3% they charge on my credit card? I will not be going back to that restaurant ever again or any other restaurant the charges 3% on the credit card I’d rather stay home and cook

We visited here on a Tuesday night. Place practically empty. Ordered an appetizer to start and had to send back. Was so unappealing and looked like a 4 year old prepared. Sloppy, burnt chips and just a mess. Salsa on the table was so thick and tasted like tomato paste. House made margarita tasted exactly like poured out of Jose Cuervo pre-made mix. Would not recommend at all. Survival of the fittest in Huntington and they need to redo everything at this establishment, which would include a new chef.

Shocking how bad their service is. I put my name and phone number down for a party of 6. They told me it would be about 45. An hour went by, checked in with them about it and they told me a few more minutes. While that's happening three different groups that went after us got their seats after only waiting a while. How do I know this? I overheard one of the groups that were a party of 6 saying to their caller that they were waiting for a bit and the hostess didn't tell them how long it's going to be and conveniently they just got sat after the call ended. I waited for 20 more minutes while waiting to be called, and overheard two hostesses talking, in Spanish mind you, about "how can you sit three groups ahead of this person who has been waiting and the three groups weren't even on the list". Then they tried to ask us if it was okay to sit outside, we said no since we have two kids and it was chilly outside. They are susceptible to the cold. Then we waited some more just for them to tell us that they have tables for us but we have to be separated, three and three. We said no and left. Terrible service. We waited 1h30 for nothing. Terrible.

Everything was fine until we saw a mouse run through the dining room. We informed the server. I work in nyc and understand things happen especially being so close to the side walk and only told the server to inform them of the situation. We paid for our meal and didn’t even expect a discount or anything of the sort until a server/bartender took it upon herself to approach our table and let us know we needed to leave after being courteous and informing them of the situation. Everything would have been fine had she not been absolutely disgustingly rude. The rest of the staff was embarrassed by her reaction. I informed her that this was not the way to treat customers and she explained that we should be understanding as the restaurant is close to the street. I would have overlooked it because I feel for the employees and they should not have to lose money because of the company but this employee was so out of line and should be fired. I am beyond disgusted by her actions.

This is absolutely NOT the “best Mexican food on Long Island”. The food looked like diharrea (pic attached), the drinks were extraordinarily expensive, and an A/C vent was dripping on us the whole time. I would NEVER go here again. #MUSTAVOID

Very Simple, they are robbing anyone who pays with a credit card. They ILLEGALLY CHARGE 4% for using a credit card which since February has been illegal to do. Unfortunately since our Governor does not enforce the law establishments keep on breaking it. Stay away till they stop ripping you off.

If you want to eat real Mexican food and get good service with no one rushing you to finish your food and get out of the table in a regular no busy day...... Don't go to this place! Mojito drink was blend just like a limonade( not even a good one) , quesadillas without cheese, tostadas all soggy and dry tacos....

The place is so big that it Seems like they pay way too much for their rent and decor that they don’t have enough money left to pay for good food. The tacos were worse than Taco Bell. Embarrassing. The plating was a mess. Flavor in tacos was non existent. Ground beef no flavor. Seriously do not go if you want good food. There are other places that have flavorful Mexican food. Atmosphere and staff were great, decor great. Food a big fat no.

I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone after the experience I had there last night. I went out to eat with my parents and we unfortunately decided on this restaurant. We were seated immediately but basically we were the “forgotten” table. No water or drinks for 15 minutes. Waited another 15 minutes to take our appetizer and entree order. They forgot about my salad and at this point each of us needed water refills and drink refills but we would have to wait another 20 minutes for that. Other servers walking around INCLUDING THE MANAGER probably walked past our table a few times not offering to refill our drinks or take the plates out of the way. The entrees come and our server never comes back to check on us. We have finished eating our food and while I was waiting for proper service I noticed that other tables had their food packed for them. I asked another servers for boxes for the food and instead of taking our food she gave us boxes to do ourselves. I truly feel they over sat our waitress but your “team” should have been able to help her out and not make it an every man for themselves type deal. The food was okay nothing that was out of this world, but the service was truly terrible. As a result we will never be back.

I've found this is the best Mexican restaurant in Huntington, my only problem is that a few Latinos are very biased and disrespectful to my transgender friends and it seems, anyone wearing a rainbow flag is hated in their eyes. Which is why I stopped eating here and I do not recommend it to anyone unless you're a Republican, your bigotry is welcome there.

This place has down gone hill over the years! The lunch menu was misleading with what is offered to what they serve you! This place definitely needs a major upgrade to the menu / food/place! Big disappointment for a lunch date. Not worth the price or visit!

I feel so sad to have to do this, about 4 months ago I came to this place and my experience was totally different from how it was this weekend. We arrived at approximately 6:40pm, first of all the service was terrible! We had to wait about an hour or maybe more for our order, in the end we ended up having dinner at 830/9pm, our waiter was a maybe Mexican looking guy called CHRISTIAN (or Cristian probably) he was such a pedantic, arrogant and ill-mannered guy, when we complained about the delay in our dishes he was very upset and began to disrespect all of us, as well not to mention that we were seated in a horrible part of the “restaurant” practically in the parking lot. This has been the worst experience I've had in a restaurant by far, we lost our appetite we didn't even finish our dishes. There are many more things that I would like to mention but they don't deserve me to invest more of my time in them, brutal experience. They didn't even deserve a 1% tip. PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST !!!!!!
