This buffet always provides a wonderful dining experience. Stations are very clean and staff is very friendly. The food is definitely delicious and with wonderful seafood options. Cindy and the staff are so kind, professional and caring. They always want to make sure your dining experience is flawless. We came there for a friend's birthday and we felt we were among friends. Thank you Cindy and Team for always providing an awesome dining experience. Will be back soon.

Excelente experiencia en Jamul 23. Probé los chilaquiles y omelets del desayuno, además de langosta frita, prime rib, ensalada y camarones, todo delicioso. El pastel de zanahoria sin azúcar es espectacular. La atención de Erika en la estación de carving es magnífica; siempre nos atiende con una gran sonrisa mientras sirve prime rib y prepara los omelets. Sus chilaquiles son los mejores del mundo. ¡Definitivamente regresaremos!

Excelente experiencia, gran atención y servicio, la comida super fresca y deliciosa, aunque tú te puedes servir solo la mayoría de la comida,el área del desayuno omelett y los cortes de carne y pescado que te sirve Erika son deliciosos y su atención es un plus. Sin duda es el mejor bufete de San Diego

We first visited Jamul23 recently to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary and it was a phenomenal experience. When we saw they were open for Thanksgiving Day, we decided then and there to bring our family along to experience it and we’re so happy we did. Raul, Cindy, and Panya provided a warm, memorable, and smile filled experience. They treated our family like family along with the five star experience, the food didn’t disappoint. All the holiday favorites were there such as turkey, stuffing, and even green bean casserole alongside premium buffet options like lobster tails, prime rib, and chocolate covered strawberries. The food was great, our cups never went empty, and Raul, Cindy, and Panya gave the perfect blend of service while allowing us the privacy to enjoy one another’s company and truly enjoy the special occasion. Jamul23 is doing the premium buffet experience right and it’s always a great time when you’re being cared for by people who genuinely love and care about what they do. Highly recommend!

The review below has me so angry! Our first visit to this amazing restaurant was yesterday. When paying for our meals with the hostess, I asked if I should tip now or after. She said it’s up to me. I then asked what was customary and she shrugged. So I put the tip on the check and now I find out she got the server tip and our above and beyond server, Alexa, got nothing? I’m livid!! With the exception of that one greedy hostess, this restaurant is fabulous! The food was beyond compare. Not at all like a typical or even great buffet; so many options with a first class presentation and exceptionally fresh raw oysters, scallops and, of course, endless amounts of crab. The staff was the best! We were welcomed with a smile and enthusiasm rarely found anywhere these days. They worked in unison to make sure every guest was well attended to. Great people!! Can’t forget the view with floor to ceiling windows. Highly recommend!!

I had a great experience at Jamuel 23! The food was excellent, the atmosphere was welcoming, and everything came out fresh and full of flavor. A special shout-out to Erika, who took care of us—she was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. Her service really made the visit even better. Definitely recommend Jamuel 23, and I’ll be coming back soon!

The food is good . We like the Ambiance. What really caught our attention is the service. Eventhough it's a buffet and serve yourself, the people who works there are very helpful and have the best service. Supervisor Cindy was awesome 👌 She always smile and very friendly. I like that she's very professional in her job. And doing good on that.

I went here for seafood buffet, it was pretty good and fresh. It was missing pasta, salads, veggies and side dishes. I would come back again, it’s a little far though.

I’m extremely disappointed with my experience trying to make reservations for the buffet at Jamul Casino. My boyfriend and I planned to celebrate his birthday there, and the experience was ruined before we even arrived. On Sunday, I called and made a reservation for 4 PM. The woman I spoke with asked for my name, phone number, and the occasion, and I explained we were celebrating my boyfriend’s birthday. She also explained the different lobster buffet options and even told us about the speakeasy, which got us excited to make a whole night out of it. However, after the call, I never received a confirmation. I didn’t realize until the day before the reservation, which is when I called back to verify everything. That’s when I was told there was NO reservation under my name at all. I’m confused how the reservation was never submitted when all my information and the occasion were taken down. What frustrated me even more was the host responding with, “I hope you get accommodated,” instead of actually trying to fix the situation. Now we’re left scrambling to find a last-minute place to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday because the reservation we thought was secured apparently never existed. Very disappointing experience and definitely needs a better reservation confirmation system.

I chose J23 Endless Dining for my 28th birthday based on the billboards all over town and the website's promise of "Herb-Crusted Ribeye." While our waiter was fantastic and provided great drink service, the rest of the experience was a textbook bait-and-switch. The Food: The steak was paper-thin, grey, and completely overcooked (see photo). When I questioned it, the waiter honestly admitted it was "mislabeled" and wasn't actually ribeye. For $80 a person, serving a cheap substitute while advertising premium cuts is deceptive. The Management: This was the biggest disappointment. When the manager finally came over, he gave us about a minute of his time before cutting us off. He spent 20 seconds saying he "comped the meal" and then essentially ran away. The Disrespect: A refund doesn't fix a ruined birthday. Being treated like a "20-second inconvenience" after bringing my entire family to sign up for Sweetwater Rewards cards is not how you treat new members. Jamul is spending thousands on billboards to lure people in, but they are using 2017-era photos to sell a 2026 "VVIP" experience that management clearly doesn't care about. If you want a real steak and a manager who actually values your business, go to Sycuan.

Absolute waste of time. Drove 1.5 hrs only to be told that no kids are allowed at the buffet (Jamul 23)
