Unique cafe, great food, fast and friendly staff! Highly recommend.

DO NOT MISS THIS PLACE. No, they don’t spend a lot on ambiance, and they’re not black tie servers, BUT the food is just excellent. The Crepe Maison is to die for. The Chicken fried steak is one of the best in town. Maybe don’t come… I’d prefer to not have to wait for a table.

Place is set open on Memorial Day, walked in during training but they still served us. Good service, tasty food. Opted for a classic breakfast and a skillet over a bed of potatoes. Great neighborhood diner, Service was great, I’ll come back again for the official opening.

Always seen this place from the freeway and thought it looked so cute. Styled like a classic American diner. Food is great and service is too!

The sunrise burger was the Best!!! It was huge and flavorful. My wife had the banana foster pancakes and loved them. We will definitely eat here again.

Nice place for breakfast or brunch. You can create your omelette. Miranda provides excellent service.

What I got - Meat lover omelette with mushrooms 10/10 - Cookies & Cream pancakes 10/10 - Loaded fries 10/10 Overall a good spot for all day cravings!

Wow, I was not expecting for the food to be this good! I had not eaten all day and decided to stop here because it was the closest thing I could find. There were no regrets whatsoever! This is probably the best burger I’ve ever had. I asked for a side of fruit and look at what they gave me! It was amazing! Definitely will go back.

Super great spot for brunch. (Breakfast, Omelets, Burgers, Skillets, more) got the Eggs Benedict. Quite, Great service & best of all great food. Will be back for regular brunch spot.

The food was great but the way it was served was inconvenient. My crepe came on top of a salad which wilted the salad and made the crepe hard to cut. My girlfriend’s stuffed French toast came on a small plate, making it hard to cut without pieces falling off.

Just tried Tasty Munch and it was absolutely amazing! The food is great. And the crepes are the highlight no doubt, they’re filled with just the right amount of ingredients. It’s all a little pricey but definitely worth it. Definitely will be coming again :)

Great local breakfast/lunch spot. Came in for a late breakfast on a Sunday morning. Seated quickly. Lots of breakfast options. Food came out fast. Pancakes were light and fluffy. The biscuits and gravy were enough for two meals. Staff was attentive and super nice.

Absolutely fantastic service, large selection and very good. Like having this in the neighborhood. It is a little more expensive but you pay for quality. The skillet I had was good and next time I will ask for the home made hot sauce. Coffee and pancakes were good too. Lots of other stuff to try on the menu I really want to try the chicken fried steak. I will be back.

Tasty Munch is a great upgrade over what was here before! The server/owner was very friendly and gave us a couple of options she recommended. We opted for the waffle combo! Though I didn't try it, highly recommend the bananas foster on your waffle. I asked to taste it and will definitely add it next time! The whipped cream was really good. Not normally the type to recommend whipped cream but trust me, it makes your already tasty waffles absolutely delicious. The sausage was really good but a little greasy so be aware! My wife said she's tried their bacon before and it was also tasty! Owner seemed very active and definitely tried to make sure we enjoyed everything, but not overly so. The atmosphere was great, but some of the looks were a little dated. It didn't bother me personally. Make sure you come early because, while there are quite a few parking spots, they can fill up quick with all the businesses around!

The service was impeccable. The fruit looks great and fresh as I have to speak to Work. The staff was super friendly and made my food really fast. The patty melt is great tastes great too recommend

Came here on a Monday just before noon for lunch with my wife and son. They have fresh squeezed lemonade, which gets a big thumbs-up. Got my son a plain and dry cheeseburger with fries; my wife got the cranberry chicken salad; and I got the yall skillet. Even well-done, the cheeseburger patty was juicy, and it was seasoned well. Fries were good. My wife liked her salad. I liked my skillet. My only complaint is that the proportion of potatoes was too much. Next time, I would ask for half the potatoes (I'm also starting to watch my carb intake, so your mileage may vary). The biscuit was fantastic: buttery and crispy on the outside. There was no one else there when we arrived, but there were several tables when we left. Good, we want them to do well. Our server was Bailey, who was attentive and courteous. He was the only server, so take that into consideration if you're in a rush. Overall, 4.5/5.

I’m leaving this review as I’m sitting my second visit in one week… saying that to say the food and atmosphere is that amazing. My family loves it and Marlene is AMAZING. No exaggeration.

I was expecting it would be “old reliable” diner quality, but was pleasantly surprised it was made with premium ingredients. Nice greens, good bacon, etc. Good sized portions. My friends got a breakfast omelette and a breakfast skillet. Both were large and made with quality ingredients.

Super good. Came by as I was waiting for my car's work to be done down the road. Had the orange pancake and eggs with bacon. All super tasty! Coffee was good. Waiter super friendly. Definitely worth a try!

They serve a pretty legit Loco Moco dish that reminded me of Hawaii. Service was excellent and attentive. Highly recommended if you want Loco Moco in Houston.

Not sure when this place opened after the last place closed down, but they've stepped up a notch. The food was fresh and tasted great. I had the Philly Cheese Steak with fries. My friend had the biscuits with gravy and something and said it was just right. Glad to have a new breakfast/ lunch spot in the area. UPDATE Went back for lunch and they have some new dishes. I had one of their new burgers and it was the best I've had in a very long time. Again everything was fresh, and the service was great.

I found myself walking early in the morning, looking for a place to have breakfast while my car was being serviced nearby. I walked randomly and found a couple of options. I decided to choose Tasty Munch and I am so grateful I did! I have considerable dietary restrictions and I was happy to find not only a nice atmosphere, but their willingness to accommodate the food to my particular needs. My breakfast was delicious and well prepared. These are really kind people, authentically happy to serve their guests and making them feel welcome and appreciated. Five stars in all possible aspects! :)

VERY CUTE DINER! It's decorated like an old diner with the chairs. The food was delicious and hot! It is good portions for the price as well! It was my birthday and our lovely server brought out a banana fosters pancake. It was beautiful and very sweet! Definitely coming here again!

Great place for a 'no-frills' American Breakfast. Service was great and wait staff is friendly. The coffee is excellent and the portions are generous. The atmosphere has an old school diner feel. The dish I tried was the ABC omelette.

I had the veggie skillet topped with poached eggs, and cookies and cream pancakes. One of my poached eggs was overcooked, while the other was perfect with runny yolk. The skillet was well seasoned. The pancakes were ok. Plenty of free parking spots available.

The steak and eggs comes with the smallest and thinnest steak you’ve ever seen. Bananas fosters pancakes are 10/10. Waitress was awesome

This place faces up nice. Cool vibe when you walk in and was very clean.I was told it’s somewhat of a family business so I wanted to give it a shot just based on that. I will say, the service while VERY nice was slow. Price points were a little high for what they were serving but hey, everybody’s got to make money. When the food finally hit the table my poached eggs were hard as a rock. Either they were overcooked or sat under the heat on the line for too long, either way that was a bummer. I chose not to bring it up to them because I was starving and did not wait to wait another 25 min for another plate of what was still eatable food. Bottom line, I’ll probably give it another shot but make sure to let them know I don’t want to eat hard boiled eggs on my Benedict again. Food for thought to the cooks (no pun intended)

Food was decent enough, however the server I got was pretty weird towards me. I was supposed to meet my friend there but I arrived before him. It was fine at first when I got there but when my friend got there I noticed I was receiving different service from him. When I got there, I asked for coffee and was given my coffee with nothing else. I had to flag someone down for cream and sugar and I was given those cheap little cups of half n half. When my friend got there, he ordered coffee as well and they brought him a small pitcher of creamer with sugar without him asking. I paid it no mind, it was just creamer. when it came to ordering food, I was asked what I wanted. When I answered I got a simple ‘okay’. When my friend was asked what he wanted, the server confirmed his order to make sure it was right, she gave him options for his order that wasn’t given to me— she was actually paying attention to him. I thought it was a bit odd but, again, I shrugged it off. Then when it came to pay, she put the check down in front of him, turned to him and asked him how the food was, asked if he needed anything else, held conversation with him and didn’t acknowledge me at all. It got to a point that even my friend noticed she was behaving rudely towards me. I am black and my friend is white so I’m not sure if it was casual racism or what but it was absolutely inappropriate behavior. I thought I’d found a nice spot to take my wife for breakfast occasionally but I’m never going back there and if you’re a person who wants to be treated the way you treat others regardless of race, I wouldn’t go there.
