You really can't beat this place. The location is beautiful, stunning in fact. We had a wonderful table near the live music and the ocean. They have a large area in front of the stage where my twins danced and ran around. The food here is delicious and the cocktails were fabulous! We dined with my 4 year old twins, we maybe saw one other child there but don't let that fool you, definitely kid friendly. The waitress even brought out little finger puppets for the boys to play with, and they got to take them home. We thought the service was wonderful and didn't believe it was taking too long but either the manager or the waitress did because they offered either a free dessert or to take our drinks off the bill, which was incredibly generous. We loved everything about this place and will definitely be back on our next trip!

Just enjoyed a lovely ocean front dining experience with my family at this restaurant. The location is stunning - making reservations ahead is highly recommended. The waitress who looked after us was warm, knowledgeable and very welcoming. I enjoyed the octopus and scallops immensely and the lilikoi creme brulee was delicious. The carpaccio was delectable as well. We were able to dine overlooking a stunning sunset. A+ experiene 🌸!

I was quite surprised at the excellence here. Typically a trade of between views/atmosphere and cuisine but this hit both which was awesome considering Kona doesn’t have a laundry list of restaurants, so highly recommend. Although the truffle pizza was great, there are other options you’d do better off with. The grilled octopus was absolutely phenomenal. The broccolini is a must have vegetarian or meat eaters alike.

Been here 10+ Times now. Excellent ambiance and service. The drinks are excellent. The food is good although I find myself disappointed by some of the pasta dishes. The burrata salad is excellent. The warm bread appetizer that gets brought to all tables is nice. Ask for extra balsamic and olive oil. The truffle and fungi (mushroom) pasta is excellent. This last time we tried this dessert that had coffee and caramel flavors and textures. It was a feast for the eyes and the senses.

The food, service, and atmosphere were impeccable! I have a gluten allergy, and they went out of their way to make sure I was taken care of. Being there at sunset to enjoy the view was the cherry on top!

It’s in the resort so probably a better option for people staying there than for others. But if you are there it’s super convenient for lunch. Delicious food and excellent service.

Amazing view with some of the best food I've had in Hawaii along with the best service. I booked the restaurant but at a later time so I tried my luck when I arrived 2 hours earlier before my dinner reservation time. Unfortunately they do not have an earlier opening but they do have the lounge and bar open. I was reluctant when I first read/heard about the lounge/bar but boy was I wrong. The bar and lounge is literally right next to the dining tables so you have the exact same view/service. The only difference is that you sit on lower lounge chairs with lower height coffee tables for plates. Other than that you have the same exemplary service. The service is better than any other restaurants I've had in Hawaii so far. They know when to change your places or utensils which surprisingly every other expensive restaurant should learn from. I had the garlic shrimp appetizer which is not bad but I wouldn't say it's that much better than other restaurants. However I really really enjoy the lobster pasta which serves the very fresh lobster with squid ink pasta (don't know the name of the pasta so just look at my picture). The sauce is light and flavorful with just the right amount of zesty marinara based sauce. The margherita pizza is also very well made. The dough reminds me of the napoletana style pizza which means it's lighter and more flavorful. Overall I'd highly highly recommend the restaurant over any other expensive restaurants. Oh do not forget that the view is spectacular with probably one of if not the best place for sunset on Big Island.

We had dinner at Beach Tree three nights in a row. Loved it. Nice sunset view? We hope to be back in January!

Nice restaurant on Big Island to enjoy the sunset and cool breeze. Highly recommended for family and date night. They got a vegan menu as well.

Favorite place to eat on the Island for the full experience of great food, great view, and very family friendly. If you go Thursdays they have a fire show, and all other days the view and beach always feel like heaven.

This was such an incredible experience for us to splurge on during our Big Island Vacation! You can dine here without staying at the resort!!! Make reservations! The drinks delicious, the food( Kale Pasta with goat cheese, pork cheek and lemon confit- TO DIE FOR!) and dessert( Coffee Parfait) all so incredible. Not to mention the views were phenomenal and breathtaking of sunset while feasting! They also had live music and a beautiful path nearby for walking after dinner!

Finally a good restaurant. We had prawns, ceviche, octopous and a salad. Price was quite good… I was actually expecting more considering it is in the four season resort.

My family and I had dinner and lunch here at Beach Tree, and it was exceptional. The food was great. The appetizers during lunch and dinner were top tier. The main entrees for lunch were perfection. I would say 8/10 for the non-pasta dinner entrees. I ordered the market catch, and it was a bit dry. Their pastas were amazing! Dessert 10/10. Definitely order the crème brûlée. The service, 10/10. Beach tree was extremely welcoming. We had a 2 year old and a 3 month old. The manager Cindy brought out a little blanket for our baby when it got cold and windy. My 2 year old fell asleep during lunch from playing in the sand. The waitress put two chairs together to let her nap next to us. The atmosphere is impeccable. The sunset was amazing. The sound of the beach which having a beautiful meal was everything.

Wonderful place for our birthday celebration. Can't beat the food and setting. Staff was amazing and when it started raining, a fleet of people came out to put umbrellas up to make sure the guests were covered.

Delicious food paired with stunning sunsets this spot is amazing. Highly recommend the burrata and bolognese, they were both wonderful. Drinks are delicious and they can make a fantastic dirty martini and even have blue cheese olives! Of course, service was fantastic as usual.

Delightful setting with a perfect view of the sunset every evening. The food is pricey, but high quality. The live music was great and the service was friendly, hospitable, and charming. I would recommend reservations and if on a budget, enjoy some drinks and an appetizer. We dropped $160 for two nice dinners without buying any alcohol.

Very nice casual restaurant inside Kona's Foru Seasons Hotel. Italian based restaurant. Very delicious pizza made from authentic wood burnt oven. Sunset view from the restaurant that is second to none. Highlyrecommended

Atmosphere and luxury were the best on the whole island. The food and drinks were amazing, but don't expect to be filled by the entrees. Beautiful views of the sunset from the seating area

One of the best places to eat on Hawaii's big island. It is right on the beach. The food is great, the ambience is great. We went on my birthday and they gave dessert as a surprise on the house. You should book a table before going there

The mushroom pizza was oh so amazing! They use flour from Italy and wild mushrooms from Hawaii. Although it doesn't come with red sauce I ordered some on the side to dip my crust in and I felt like I was in Italy. But with views of Hawaii?! Heaven

We came here after we got engaged on the resort’s beach. They gave us complimentary glasses of champagne. The food was delicious!

The Beach Tree bar is a restaurant inside Four Seasons, which is open to non-guests as well. It was a rainy night when we went there, but I loved the ambience and ocean-view. I can only imagine how glorious it would be on a sunny day! Despite it being an upscale place, I liked its laid-back vibe - a perfect Hawaiian experience. They started us off with bread and freshly made pesto with macadamia nuts. The pesto was so good that we asked for another plate and almost stuffed ourselves. We ordered a Bruschetta appetizer to share, which was a different and refreshing take on traditional Bruschetta. Oh, how that fresh mozzarella melted in my mouth! I ordered myself a Mai Tai and a vegetarian entree (roasted eggplant and other veggies), which were surprisingly quite good. Everyone in my group loved their drinks and food. Our server was friendly and helpful with suggestions, but the service was a little slow. If you are willing to spend some money for good food, then this place is worth it.

We had a lovely dinner with excellent service from Tiger. Also lunch with Kayla was amazing and expedited as we tried to catch an airplane. Great food, great service and the valet parking dudes rock. Worth every cent!

We had such a wonderful night at Beach Tree. We were there for sunset but it was really our server, Hokulani, that was special! She made the experience so enjoyable. She was very knowledgeable with the food selections and was attentive without being overbearing. She made us feel so comfortable! We look forward to visiting again!

Overall great dinner with a group. Amazing grounds and views of the ocean and sunset. Dinner took over 1 hour to show up however. Arrived before the reservation time at 5:15. Was promptly sat. Ordered and received drinks within 20 min at 5:35. Starters arrived 50 min later at 6:05 ( burratta was tasty ). Dinner unfortunately showed up at 7:10, which was far too long. Pastas ( Cacio e pepe & Creste di gallo were tasty ).

Great place to visit for a date night in big island. Very high quality Italian dishes here. We ordered Arancini and Polpette as appetizer, and they were both very straightforward and traditional recipe but cooked to perfection. I appreciated this very traditional Italian dish with no unnecessary additional flavors added to it (sometimes, it is just SO HARD to find a restaurant that cooks basic dish RIGHT!) but I can also see some people might appreciate a unique flavor with some chef’s touch in a five star hotel restaurant. My pasta, Lobster Agnolotti, was perfect, too. It also had some unique flavor, and you get almost half a lobster in this dish. I definitely felt that it was worth the price I paid for. The other pasta dish that my husband ordered was pretty good. Overall, great experience with good service and amazing beachfront view. I would come back here again.

Beach front resturant with a beautiful walking entry. Highly recommend the daily fish catch. Don’t feed the birds!!!even if you only see one.

If ambiance and beach front dining at sunset is just as important to you as the food (or more important) you will love this place. We came three times during our stay, the servers were friendly and warm. We didn’t feel at all rushed, we always had a great seat without having to wait. The first time there, we requested a drink served in a pineapple and they obliged, which was a fun twist. Drinks and food were about twice as much as we paid at other restaurants in Kona-Kailua, but the location and comfort was worth it to us. We really enjoyed the live soothing Hawaiian music, such a nice touch!

Beautiful views, the food was decent, staff was friendly. Food wasn’t as good as advertised or for the price. Lobster was over cooked. Desserts were very good. Just need some refinement in my opinion. If looking to dine somewhere elegant I’d suggest Ulu before beach tree. Still solid nonetheless.

Loved the ambience and the views . It has the great views right by the beach with live music set in a very subtle dining setting . We had burrata , ricotta pasta and truffle pizza the food was really great loved their wine collection as well . The service was really good , hostess and the waiters were very friendly .

Beautiful setting, service was great, and the cuisine was disappointing. The burrata cheese appetizer was simple, no creativity (basic tomato, toasted sour dough bread) and roasted pear. The Bolognese house special didn't have the rich, slow-simmered flavor one would hope for...not flavorful. The market catch, which was presented so well, was unfortunately overcooked and dry, which was a real shame. While the ambiance and staff were wonderful, the food did not meet the same standard.

It’s definitely a good place for sunset dinner. Being a vegetarian I was expecting a little more in their menu. Unfortunately not much. They do have a full vegan menu but not many options. I still enjoyed the dishes that we ordered. We ordered Bruschetta, burrata, margarita pizza and gnocchi. Their gnocchi was really good. Overall was a good experience. I would still encourage them to have more vegetarian options.

the food here was just okay, which unfortunately does not justify the extremely high prices they charge. the atmosphere is amazing, with multiple performances throughout our evening. however i suggest you go elsewhere if you value food taste. do not get the cacio e pepe

So we went there, great service, but the pasta noodles were very undercooked, for 72 for a steak was fine but it still left me hungry, presentation was great but hardly any vegetables were served with it maybe a good mouthful, but It would of been great if there was at least a baked potato served with it low cost high reward. A spent 180 total. Won't be returning sadly

We went to Beach Tree restaurant at the Four Seasons to celebrate my grandma's birthday, expecting an unforgettable experience. She was so excited to go to the 'Four Seasons' having never been there and living on the Big Island all her life. Instead, it was unforgettable for all the wrong reasons. The service was terrible, our lunch entrées came before our appetizers, which is completely unacceptable for any restaurant--let alone one at the Four Seasons. We even had a conversation of getting the appetizers before our meal. It felt rushed, disorganized, and careless. This was supposed to be a special occasion, but the staff made no effort to make it feel that way. No attention to detail, no sense of hospitality. For a party of four, we paid $300 for this poor experience, and honestly, it felt like throwing money away. Beach Tree completely failed to deliver on its promise of luxury dining. If you're looking for great service or a special celebration, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.
