This place is so amazing! The food is incredible and it’s super affordable and the service and atmosphere are great :)

What you need to know is that they do get busy. Also, if you let them know you're on a time crunch, they will do their damnedest to accommodate you. It's nice to have an outdoor patio as well in case you want some of that fresh San Diego sunshine. I always fall back to the mixed vegetables with tofu. They usually pick a tasty sauce for me because I can't eat oysters. Their lunch special is a very good value! Tasty hot and spicy if you want, you love them

Love this restaurant. Excellent food. Portions are reasonable. Price is on point. Always fresh. Staff is friendly. A real treat for East County. I've had just about everything on the menu and have never been disappointed. Dine in or take out both are good.

Honestly this is one of my favorite Thai restaurants in San Diego / La Mesa area. Highly suggest the shrimp spring rolls and the larb

The employees and owners are very attentive, and just all around nice. The restaurant isn't huge, but it can seat enough people comfortably. They even have a couple tables outside when its nice. Cute interior and soft music playing make it a relaxing and enjoyable experience. The salad, Thai tea, soup, pad Thai, curries, and everything I have had are delicious. Definitely recommend.

My wife and I have been coming here for about 1 year now and I'm not sure why it took so long to write a review. The staff is very friendly and it's clean inside. The food is great! I am a big yellow curry fan and order yellow curry at every Thai place I visit. The yellow curry is excellent. The fresh rolls are great as well. My wife gets the spicy basil with tofu. We are regulars here and are usually there every Thursday for the lunch special but I believe the lunch specials are Monday-Friday. They just started to deliver now! I was amazed to find this out. You just need to be within a 2-3 mile radius. It's very rare to find a Thai place that delivers. Definitely give this place a try! :) Erik & Lisa

A fantastic dining experience for any Thai food enthusiast. The spice level was spot on for my taste, however, they will adjust the spiceness of the dishes to fit your own personal preference. It was apparent that these meals are crafted by passed-down recipes and experienced chefs. The atmosphere is comfortable and peaceful, and the waitress' kindness reflected this, as well. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Beef salad is very good and flavorful. The salmon salad and chicken noodle are good too. We didn't like the Spicy Noodles since it's too soggy.

We talked about different types of Thai dishes like Khao Soi and others that were not on a typical Thai restaurant menu. It's great that they are always friendly and give us different insights on food from thier particular region. 1. Tango Shrimp Special Crispy battered shrimp topped with creamy choo chee curry sauce and green beans. Garnished with lime leaf and served in a noodle basket. Spicy. 2. Kai Yang Som Tum Special Green papaya salad, grilled chicken leg and sticky rice. Served with sweet chili garlic sauce. 3. Satay Skewered slices of marinated chicken served with peanut sauce and cucumber sauce. 4. Thai Wings Deep-fried chicken wings topped with fried garlic and onion. Served with sweet chili garlic sauce. 5. Thai Ice and Regular Ice Tea

I ordered lunch set Thai Basil Tofu with rice $13. You can customise the spiciness from 1-10. Mine was 8 and it was plenty of spicy(i am an Asian). Portion was fair full of flavours. Would definitely come back again!

Went with my mom I got the shao mai (dumplings) with taro tea with boba and my mom got the tai wings and some noodles from the lunch special. can’t remember the name…. Sorry They were great. First I personally love boba tea and they def do a great job with the milky tea portion and the boba pearls were fresh too. Very similar to an actual boba shop. I’m personally satisfied. Then the dumplings were outstanding. So good. Definitely recommend My mom said the noddles was amazing. I think they are good too. The wings were also good. Overall we were satisfied and the food was great. Everything was great, no complaints.

My husband and I have been ordering take out here for a few years now and even though we’ve moved further away we still make the drive back for their curry! It’s so yummy and hits the spot every time. Best curry on this side of town by far!!

Delicious as always, everything I’ve gotten from here over the years has been great. Tried the Panang Curry last and it was on point. Will forever return for the Tom Kha as well.

I’m giving the food three stars. The green curry lacked richness—it was quite thin and watery. The chicken was also disappointingly dry, likely because they used very thin slices of chicken breast. Overall, the flavors were there, but the execution missed the mark.

Good food, nice atmosphere. Cloth tablecloths and napkins, nice touch. Lots of Thai mementos on the walls. Inclusive lunch menu, reasonable prices. Doesn't look like much from the outside but looks can be deceiving. We'll go back.

I go here for business meetings sometimes and they are a great value for the price. Their lunch specials are from $6.99-$10.99 and includes a soup, salad, two wontons, a spring roll and then your entree. I love to get the yellow curry chicken. Great value and great food.

The food was great. Really good. However, I’d sent my daughter to pick up our order and she forgot her wallet. So she called me and I said I’d pay over the phone with my card, but they wouldn’t accept that??! Bizarre. Is there some sort of scam going with that? I’ve never had that happen where a business wouldn’t accept payment over the phone. My daughter had to come home, get her wallet, and then go back to pay & pick up the food.

We were picking up our pizzas next door to the restaurant and saw their outdoor posted menu and decided to give them a try. They offer a budget friendly lunch menu from ll:30am to 3:3030pm. The lady at the register was very welcoming and sweet. We ordered the spicy noodles, spicy level 4 (not spicy at this level and will up the spicy level to 6-7 next time) with shrimps and calamari which came with two friend spring rolls with delicious dipping sauce and the house salad with peanut dressing was prepared well. After we placed our order, we left to pick up our pizzas next door. When we returned back to the Thai Restaurant, the sweet lady walked out the restaurant to greet us and handed us our order. Such sweet gesture and such efficiency and that left a great impression on us. The food tasted authentic and delicious, very good portion size of food, at a fair price point. We will definitely come back to try some of their other Thai dishes.

This used to be my go to place for Thai but most of my order tonight was not even edible. The spring roll was the only good thing. The chili sauce with it was all water and a few chili flakes, the tofu was breaded in a sugar mixture and the curry was spicy with no flavor. The chicken was overcooked and the peppers were raw. I hope they go back to their old recipes soon.

I don't believe I have ever left a bad review of a restaurant, but there's a first for everything. First the plusses, my son's pad Thai was passable, but $15 for a small serving? The people working there were very kind polite and sweet. The food on the other hand..... I paid $21 for Panang Scallops. The "scallops" tasted like bad fish, and the curry was a watery mess, with no flavor. We also ordered the tempura calamari. It was burned, and they used some kind of sweet cookie dough for the tempura. I couldn't even fake it. I gave it back, sucked up the $60., and wrote this review.

Order delivery from here today. I got the wild duck. Food is sooooooo bland, duck is over cooked everything else in the dish are undercooked. Veggies are barely cooked and the red curry tasted like water. Zero flavor in the duck dish. Pad see ew isn’t much better, but I’m giving a two star because it was edible. I tossed the duck dish. What a waste of money.

Service for me was a zero. I came in today to place a takeout order. The waitress directed me to the register at the back of the house. Then she disappeared. I waited ten minutes to place my order. She never returned. So I also must give Phra Ram 9 a one star food rating because I never even got a chance to taste it.

I can’t believe I got just mushy food. No noodles just mush. It’s not like it used to be before. So disappointed. Definitely check your food before you drive off if you’re getting take out. No noodles here. 😲🤢
