We had about 40 people there today after my grandson dedication. The waitress and the waiter that helped us was extremely great. The entire staff was great also managers food runners all kept us with drinks and chips I just wanted to tell them all thank you very much for a wonderful day.

Cool place to have a cocktail and eat some Tex Mex. The tv’s were on showing sports. They have a bar area but we sat in the main dining room.

I meant to write this review months ago. The wait staff and management were incredible! With my food allergies, I have to be really careful about where and what I eat at a restaurant. Even in the busy lunch hour, the waiter took his time listening to what I needed, and the manager came over to verify particulars before having the kitchen staff prepare my food. It was amazing!! Thanks you for caring!!

My husband and I met at this El Toro in La Porte in July of 2021. Every year we have come here to celebrate our meeting in the little booth next to the ice cream machine! We just got married and had our Wedding Luncheon/Reception here this past Saturday! Brittany and the staff went above and beyond from preparing the food to decorating the tables with our decorations! We were absolutely amazed when we walked in and saw how beautiful everything was! My guests were very happy with the quality and taste of the food and drinks. Thank you El Toro for making our Wedding reception so memorable.

The best Mexican restrained in this area. The atmosphere is very good. There are many people and families. Both food and drinks are good. I ordered pasta diablo. It was too much for me, but I liked it. In addition, This restaurant is very clean.

Nelda, Loretta, Brittney & Maria always provide excellent service. They along with their staff are phenomenal. Food and drinks are always excellent. Our go to place of all the places in the Pasadena/Deer Park/La Porte area. Thank you for making our 21 year anniversary special.

Update! You have completely redeemed yourself! My shrimp stuffed avocado is the best one ever! Amazing thank you manager Brittany for a wonderful meal! The white wine seafood sauce makes all the difference! The stuffed Avocado with shrimp was incredible with the white wine sauce. 6 people we ate till we were miserable for $130 Update!!!! The last two times that I have been here, once on my birthday in December and today in Father’s Day I was extremely disappointed with the stuffed avocado. It used to come with a white seafood sauce on it and was absolutely delicious. I have a tough time giving it 3 stars now. I don’t know if they changed food suppliers or management or chefs but they 45 minutes that I used to gladly drive to this location is 100% no longer worth it. I’m so disappointed that after 40 years of patronizing this location the food is no longer worth it. If Sonic drive thru served a stuffed avocado it would taste like that. The marinara/salsa sauce with a drizzle of sour cream instead of the seafood sauce with shrimp ruined the entire dish Brittany the manager just reached out to me immediately and apologized and told me that the servers made a mistake that they do indeed still have the seafood sauce and is addressing the matter now.

Stopped in for Dinner to get us a bite to eat while in the area, we use to eat here regularly but moved out of the area in 1993. The atmosphere and the decor is really nice and the staff are very pleasant and always have a smile on. Wife had the combination meat plate of Nachos while I had their crispy Tacos. The food was excellent and the Margaritas where on point! Our waiter (Ricardo) was always close with a smile and tending to all our needs.

Very good! We were very impressed! We were a little worried going in an hour before close. We saw others going in, so we chanced it. We walked in at 913pm. We finished and left at 945pm. 15 minutes before close! Hayden was our polite friendly waiter, and the teamwork was fast and efficient. No feel of rush either, he even told us to take our time. Tex Mex flavors were on point. They do have the soft serve vanilla too. Will definitely return!

After attending the car show cruise at Sylvia beach, we stopped by here for some lunch. The staff was very attentive and the food was amazing. What definitely go back and recommend 2 others.

This is my new favorite restaurant I highly recommend this is like a little secret restaurant that at least I never knew of but now that I do I will be telling everybody excellent food and great margaritas . The shrimp and mango salad I'm in love with highly recommend !!!

Stopped in on a Friday night at 9:30. The place was pretty empty except for 1 other family. I thought it was closed. Turns out, they close at 10. Hence, the service was Great and food was HOT and delicious. This was my best experience. Hot food and NO wait time. The flip side, we only had 30 minutes to eat. So, it was kinda rushed. My frozen drink was a Bahama Colada. I definitely would have ordered another if I had more time to enjoy.

Food is good. Service lacking. Our dad's meal was wrong, twice. Our meal was incorrect. The waiter started to insinuate we ordered what he gave us. Rude. But, he seen on his notepad he was incorrect. And our brother even said it was repeated 3 times! And, after all that they didn't compensate us at all. The waiter said he took part off, yeah, the meal we didn't order!!! If that had been my first visit I would NOT return. I probably still won't since there are better places in the area.
