I recently dined at Mas Chinese Halal Restaurant, and it was an exceptional experience! Every dish we tried was absolutely delicious, showcasing the perfect blend of flavors and freshness. The restaurant was impeccably clean, creating a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. The service was outstanding – the staff were incredibly kind and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. I highly recommend Mas Chinese Halal Restaurant for anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience.

Really good Chinese food for a good price! So glad I found a place nearby where I live. A lady named Rachel assisted me and she was lovely and friendly.

We usually go the location near Anaheim but we’re staying in Irvine on this trip. Ma’s House did not disappoint! The food was excellent including the Mongolian beef, mixed vegetables and the sesame onion bread. The Three Flavor sizzling rice soup is our favorite. Portions sizes are large and the service was also quite good. We did not have to wait very long for a table either which was also a bonus (we did go before 6:00). Will definitely go back.

This is our favorite #halal Chinese restaurant. We used to go all the way to Anaheim from Irvine but now only go here. The food is usually good, but the customer service could be hot or miss. During busy times they could get a bit rude . We love the orange beef, Jalapeno chicken, Garlic chicken, three flavored fried rice, three flavored kung pao and hot and sour soup.

Located in same shopping center as trader Joe's. Cozy, a bit more modern feel than the one in Anaheim. Still with their famous sesame bread. Came here on a very rainy day, and on this visit I tried some staples of Taiwanese cafes. Sesame bread: fantastic texture. Crispy on outside, and inside, chewy and rich with plenty of green onion. A MUST GET. beef roll (beef wrap): very tender beef and so much green onion. Comes with a side of hoisin sauce but has plenty of flavor to stand on its own. Beef noodle soup: a luxurious, rich broth with just the slightest kick. Something you may not be used to: The hand cut noodles are very very thick- Like spaetzle thick. They are quite enjoyable, but if you're hoping for more noodle chewy, I would try the regular noodles. Overall, the flavor of the soup and the beef cannot be beat! Will definitely visit again to try the lamb, and would definitely recommend.

Looking for some great Chinese food in South Orange County, then this is the spot for you. Next to RoadRunner in the same shopping center as Trader Joe’s. The price is right and the portions are perfect! The service is fantastic!

The fried rice 🍚 has a bit of burnt odor; the eggs were over cooked . The fried rice 🌾 isn’t too oily nor sticky. The Black Mushroom was so delicious . The overall smell of the place is good; no cooking odor . I highly recommend it. Thanks to Migale for a good service 🙏

I tried the flatbread and beef strew noodle, and was literally surprised how delicious and tasty they are! I noticed that the place actually makes authentic Islamic or Muslim food. Anyway, I am a big noodle fan and had many in Orange County area. I have to say this is the best I had so far. I know I have to come back many times over because of so many other options on the menu the photos of which look so tempting.

We love Ma's House, this location, and others. They always serve great food. We frequent this location because it's the only halal chinese restaurant in the area. Our favorite dishes are Orange Chicken and the Three Flavor Fried Rice, but the menu is extensive. We almost always get something new there. As with any halal restraunt, the price per dish can feel high. It's best to go as a group as chinese food is meant to be shared. We've been very happy with them, and we almost always go there on special occasions, would highly recommend to every Muslim person.

Stopped in for a quick bite during lunch. The older Asian server was a smart alec which is when I knew the food was going to taste good LOL. Had the orange chicken and the Mongolian beef. The orange chicken was absolutely delicious, it came with white rice. I would pass on the Mongolian beef though. Service is quick. I will be back for the orange chicken.

Found this new location on Yelp and tried them this weekend. The new location is bright and newer, unlike the Anaheim location. We ordered several dishes and most of them turned out very good (the jellyfish dish wasn't good). I like the thin sesame onion pancake than the thick one as it's less bread-y and easy to reheat as leftover. The soup (pickle cabbage with lamb, one of their signature dishes) was nice, a lot better than the one I had at Anaheim location, which tastes so bad (salty and disinfectant solution tasting and I am not even joking) I would not order it again. The waiters are nice and pretty attentive. Overall, great dining experience.

A comfortable "family style" authentic Chinese food joint. The only reason it doesnt have 5 stars is because the decor is more like a country-style kitchen and lacks much of anything "Chinese". But if you want good food, definitely come here!

Food is hit or miss at Ma's house. Chicken curry had poor bland flavorless yellow curry, Mongolian beef was sauced with a non authentic flavor and the orange chicken tasted like a battered candy. There was one dish that was amazing was cumin lamb with onions. I would recommend this with rice, great flavor and texture. There is plenty of parking. For large parties a gratuity of 15 percent is automatically added.

I was surprised to find this northern Chinese Islamic restaurant. However after my visit, the food was not authentic northern Chinese style food but more Americanized. Even put the authenticity aside the food was not good. The cooking wine flavor is dominating in the sauce and the so-called hand made noodle is extremely soggy and easily broken apart when I picked them with chopsticks.

One of the least quality house chow mein … can’t even finish their chow mein .. It supposed to be including shrimp, chicken and beef … You need to search to find some protein pieces inside of noodles … What ever oil they use .. it left a thick layer in my mouth … and desperately was looking for a drink near by after .. like a coffee shop …

Pros: The orange chicken was pretty good. Cons: Everything else. The customer service is very poor. Unenthusiastic rude servers, borderline angry at you for coming in.. What?? At times pretty slow, even at 20% capacity.. Unacceptable. The majority of the food is mediocre, low quality and bland and the prices do not match that. To add injury to insult they automatically add gratuity, and then they have the audacity to suggest extra tip on top of that!! These people are trippin. And stop playing top 40 nobody wants to hear that garbage at any restaurant, but I guess its fitting for this place since they identity as garbage themselves. Shame on you. TLDR: mediocre food, poor service, high prices and forced tip.

We have been coming to this restaurant for years and love their food. But today had the worst experience. Waited for an order to go and sat at the near empty table in the restaurant and was asked by Villa one of their servers to go and wait by the front door. Mind all the tables were empty but 2. Ridiculous!!! I will now go to their other location or be served by someone who knows how to do there job.

zero excuses for horrible service while the restaurant is not even busy. My family was rushed to a table, server left in a hurry after we only placed half our order and without taking our drink orders. Thankfully we did not order more food as we were scammed- we ordered off the lunch special menu and were charged full dinner price. will not be back.

I am a regular customer at both this location and the one in Anaheim. Unfortunately, this was the worst experience I’ve had. We came here during Ramadan, and there were only two waiters, which resulted in terrible service. We waited an hour for our order, and when it finally arrived, the food was cold. I’m not sure if I’ll be coming back anytime soon.

Good food but Absolutely rude staff. They make their face so unwelcoming that it is insulting. They would not listen to you no matter how you try to seek their attention unless they want to. They did this a few times when we visited. Finally, I decided for once I would not give them the tip. He got upset and told us if you will not give the tip, don’t come here again. We want mandatory tips regardless of the service. I told him that you a very rude and the service is very poor. he said “that is the way we are, rude, take it or leave it”. We would never go there again. Nasty!
