Very good for fast food. The service was excellent the manager Jaqueline had excellent customer service. The milkshake was made fresh from real ice cream after I ordered it. I had the mint chip shake. It is waaay better than a shamrock shake and no need to wait for St Pattys day either. Clean lobby area and fixins bar to customize your sandwiches. Good selection of beverages as well.

1st time back since they returned to the area. Saw some familiar item on the menu that I was excited to retry. We had a issue with one employee who took our order and bagged our food wearing her hoodie she wore to work while on the clock preparing food for customers. We mentioned it to her manager who told her to go take it off, when that manager told another manager he said he told her to take it off after she clocked in. They remade our order which was appreciated. We enjoyed the food it was very good, definitely coming back.

I was sincerely impressed! I came at 10:30am on a Wednesday, I was actually worried the place was closed because when I pulled up, nobody was in the parking lot nor the drive-thru. My first time here, the cashier kindly made some recommendations. I had the #1 combo! The bun was super fresh. The fixin's bar was freshly stocked as well, the lettuce and onions were chopped probably minutes before they were put out. All for a really reasonable price too! I was shocked no other customers were present during my experience. Anyway, bravo to the staff for keeping a clean restaurant with fresh food!

I am truly blown away. I haven't even looked at a Roy Rogers in like 30 years. I happened to be in the area and figured I'd give it a try. This place is running like a well-oiled machine. It is very well staff, food is fast, and fresh, and they have somebody making sure everything is clean. Jeff was incredibly friendly and welcoming and ensured that the order was accurate. I like the sauce selection, and that barbecue sauce is unique. Paper towels well stocked in the bathroom. I usually don't like going out to eat at fast food or fast casual anymore because it's gotten so depressing and dystopian. This place was anything but. Keep doing what you're doing, I can see why the place was super busy today. Great food at a reasonable price and great service. I will be a regular customer.

I finally got here and it did not disappoint! Bought back some fond memories from a long time ago. For years, the only way to get Roy Rodgers was on road trips and turnpike rest stops, and now it's close. Food was as good as i remember for the rostbeef. And they dont call it horse sauce anymore just horseradish lol. I will be going back.

Clean establishment. Food was hot and fresh (other than coleslaw)Incredible variety- something for all. Prices are reasonable. We had the roast beef sliders, 8 piece chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy and coleslaw. Coleslaw did have old pickled/sour taste with dry consistency). Biscuits are delicious! Overall we recommend.

Just like the Roy Rogers from the old days! We shared a roast beef, burger, two piece white meat chicken and biscuit, a large fries. Nice to have the Fixin's Bar back too! Barbeque and Cowboy sauces are very good on everything. Free refills on the drinks as well. Took home a free paper cowboy hat! Staff are friendly and hard working. Bathrooms clean. One of old favorites is back and will become a regular stop for us. Highly recommend.

Overall it was a nice meal. I got the two piece chicken meal and my fiancé got the cheeseburger meal. He liked his meal. The fries weren’t bad, I liked mine as well. The chicken was a tad slimy. The skin was crispy. The baked beans and biscuit were good. There was no wait which was shocking for a Saturday! Staff was friendly.

I ordered the chicken sandwich. I think it had like honey or some type of sweet sauce on it. I must say I did really enjoy that sandwich, and the french fries were really good as well. My wife ordered the burger She felt like it was a little dry , I’ll order it next time to see how I like it. Overall, my experience was really decent, the service time was a bit slow, considering it wasn’t that many customers in the drive-through they could be a little faster. The price was not really terrible, but I felt like it should be cheaper, this is my first time here and can’t wait to go back to try the burger.

The nostalgia factor of this restaurant is out of this world, especially around the Delaware Valley area. Roy Rogers is making one heck of a comeback in Jersey, and the insanely long lines both at the drive-thru and in the dining room are evident that it has been missed! Staff is courteous, although some still seem unsure of their roles, which is to be expected of a new restaurant. However, the food was good, but there were some hits or misses in the mix.

The Sunday after opening day. Car line to get into the parking lot was blocking highway traffic so we decided to park a few blocks away and walk into the restaurant. Everyone on line was courteous and it wrapped around 3 rows so that folks could wait in the cool restaurant. I had my friend and kids sit at a table while I waited in line to order. Sign on the door said they were out of biscuits which made me really sad because I was looking forward to it. It took about an hour and a half from the time I got in line to when I got my food. By the time I got my food they got more biscuits so I was so happy to find the buttery fluffy biscuits included in my box of chicken. The chicken was just as I remembered 30 years ago. Crispy juicy fried to perfection. It went well with the mashed potatoes and gravy. The burgers were good and the fixins bar was good. The service was great even though they only had one register open. The staff was polite and everyone was great. It helped that all of the customers were being patient and courteous and just reminiscing about Roy Rogers when they were kids. Overall I had a great experience until manager switched to another person and her temperament changed the whole environment. Kudos to the Sunday lunch crew.

The food here slaps but probably not as hard as the comments I'll see! Had the steak sandwich with cheese and it was not bad. Always could use more meat but that's because it's a fast food place. Super soft bun, steak was good onions etc. It brought back the memories of high school, being a mall rat, late night drinking and needing food, and broken dreams. Probably why I need to go see my therapist again. The creamy coleslaw hit well with the steak and cheese sandwich. And it even made me feel better thinking I'm eating more healthy having coleslaw instead of french fries. Inside and out clean and welcoming and the staff was super friendly and talkative. Definitely need to go here especially if you remember it as a kid. I always felt their burgers and food were a bit above other fast food options.

Went in for a Monday lunch. Ordered a spicy chicken sandwich, fries, drink and a chicken thigh. Everything was excellent except for the chicken thighs. Dry, overcooked and extremely tiny. The restaurant was clean, service friendly and atmosphere nice. My sister ordered a Double R Bar which was good.

Unfortunately, if you want to go inside to eat, you'll still need to wait in the drive through line for a bit before you can park. The restaurant is clean, the staff are pleasant, and the food was good. The Double R Bar burger was a bit flavorless, but I didn't add anything from the Fixins Bar. The roast beef sandwich and fries were the highlight of the food.

I to this day love Roy Roger's fried chicken. while still new to Cherry Hill, the hype is still in full effect. when you go, be prepared to wait in line. Drive thru = wait, in store order = wait 🤣🤣🤣. When I went, the highest count of chicken that you could order is a 8 piece 🤦🏾‍♂️, I really wanted that 12 piece 🤣🤣. The chicken breast was so juicy and that biscuit 🙌🏾🙌🏾 (yes lawd). They were out of burgers by the time I got to the cashier 🤦🏾‍♂️. Give it a try.

Today I tried Roy Rogers was so excited because I haven’t had one in the area for such a long time. The parking lot was filled with cars. I’m so happy I was able to get a spot and the drive-through was wrapped around the building so to speak, I waited in line about 10 minutes to get my food. I don’t like the way they have the chicken sitting on the counter with aluminum foil to keep it from heating the register next to it or either the counter too much. The chicken was disappointingly, cold, and dry not the brew that I remember the french fries were piping hot, which is great they still have the fixing bar, which is wonderful. I may try them again, but I may not so sad disappointed chicken girl.

I grew up eating Roy Rogers in the 90s, back when there were many more locations. Today there are just 3 in NJ. I've been to 2 of them, including this one, and they were both about the same. Friendly staff, good atmosphere, and food that is decent but not great. Certainly better than the average BK or McD's. I feel like they were better in the past, but that could either be due to nostalgia or just that the competition has improved since those days. I wish they'd tighten the screws a bit because I like regional chains like this and want them to succeed. Management should study Jollibee, which has a similar burger/chicken-focused menu but seems to execute it better. They are quickly expanding, and in the likely event that one eventually opens in Cherry Hill, it will be a real problem for Roy's.

Well I gave it a 2nd try & I'm done. The first time was when they first opened. The food was terrible! I gave them the benefit of the doubt because it was hectic. So I decided to return yesterday for the first time & again terrible. The staff is friendly but the food is not the iconic Roy Rogers. My fiancé chicken had feathers. Burger & bun was cold & bun fell apart...signs it was possibly old. The best thing was the strawberry lemonade! The strawberry shortcake was just okay because the biscuit was so dry. Ughhhh I really was excited about getting a Roy Rogers but its honestly terrible. The lobby, fixing bar, drink station & ladies room was disgusting. How can you have so many people on shift & no one attends to the lobby & rest room. Thats poor management. My mom has been in the fast food industry for decades & is a training manager. Multi tasking on down time is so important. The restaurant was somewhat empty & the staff was laughing & joking amongst themselves. I'm all for fun at work, but tend to the cleanness of the store. I don't know if their not following the recipes or what... but it doesn't taste like the stores down south or truck stops. I hope yall can turn it around!

Got the fried chicken combo meal and wasn’t impressed at all. Chicken wasn’t hot and was dry, fries were over salted and the biscuit was just ok. I’d come back and try again, maybe I got an off night. But this doesn’t compete with Popeyes at all!

I was excited to step back to the 80's but it wasn't what I remembered. The burger was warm, not hot. The chicken was, just okay, a little on the dry side for me. As busy as they were I had expected everything to be very fresh and Hot. I would have given 3 stars if the customer service was friendly and if the place was clean. I ate in the dinning area, it was not very clean. Food on the floor and tables not wiped clean. The self-service soda area was also not clean. The employees were not mean or rude they were just, there. No friendly greetings and no thank you. Oh well, seems to be my response to myself on most occasions when I go to any retail establishments be it food or merchandise. I know this review won't stop other who remember the Good Ole Days so I really hope you have a better experience than I did.

When they opened a few weeks ago total chaos! The chaos has calmed down, you can park and dine or use the drive thru.. Ordered the 3 piece meal, what they gave me is diabolical/disrespectful…. On what planet does a wing count as a piece… seriously thats the first strike… It’s absolutely the crunchiest chicken you will bite into, BUT….. the meat is FLAVORLESS , no marinade, no injection of flavor just pure chicken meat - so get some dipping sauces. Other chicken shacks have superior fried chicken, this screams and tastes bland. Oil is low quality, you’ll get hit with a nasty aftertaste. The cole slaw was pretty good , it is heavy mayo based. Coke products served. Probably won’t be coming back, can’t really recommend if you’re looking for fried chicken.

The food is simply not good. We got a bunch of different items to try. The only reason to eat here would be to get the onion rings. The rest is trash. If this place is open more than a year I'll be shocked. Every other menu item can be found much better elsewhere. And if you can't find it anywhere else there is a reason for it. The 'fixins bar' is also an archaic idea. Why do I have to do more work to complete my sandwich? Hard pass. Go back to being nonexistent.

Ok, so obviously this location just opened, but there was still a massive line to get into the drive-thru and an even longer line to order your food, then wait for your food to be prepared inside. I waited like 30mins-1 hour in line to order, then another hour to actually get my food, that was the longest I’ve ever waited for fast food. The workers making the food were very efficient, but the workers try to prep all the order to hand to the customers were very very slow. They kept checking the receipt over and over again to look for what is on the order, and what I got, they messed up the burger order, so they didn’t even get it 100% correct. Also the chicken was very dry, and kind of over cooked, not like other Roy Rogers locations I’ve been to, everything else was fine like the mashed potatoes, Cole Slaw, and even the Fixen Bar was actually pretty good. But safe to say I won’t be back at the Cherry Hill location until maybe it completely slows down that I won’t be waiting 2 hours for food, I’ll just go to the Brick location until then.

Ordered all dark meat but received 2 breast. Chicken looked like they weee double fried and the smaller pieces were way over cooked. First time trying them since they’ve been open. Never again.
