I have eaten here 3 times. Everything was perfect the first 2 times. The last time I went was on Labor day (evening). My order took 40 minutes to receive, and it was wrong when I arrived home. I only have a small sample size, so I don't know if the 2 times with good service is the norm, or if the poor service is the norm. I am giving 5 stars because the burgers were good and hopefully the 1 bad experience was a fluke. The restaurant has been clean and I like all the TVs that had sports on. Plenty of parking.

Not just an ordinary fast food. If you want a freshly cooked delicious burger and fries then this is the place. This is what burger joints used to serve!! A considerably sized burger with piping hot fries to die for. This is the newest and best sit down burger place. Try it out. The wait is worth it and not at all disappointing.

The BBQ stack is as delicious as it looks. Fantastic value if you are hungry. Seasoned fried cooked to perfection. You will not be disappointed. They know their burgers!!!

Cali stack burger and grill serve up a good burger and French fries for a great deal 13 bucks for a burger French fries and drink is a great deal and the burger was good I got the BBQ stack burger combo service was good the facility looked very clean and there is plenty of parking I will be going back to try the philly cheesesteak

It’s so nice to have this new restaurant in Lakeside! The staff is so kind and attentive, the food is fresh and was perfectly seasoned and so nicely served, and the dining area is clean and comfortable. We’ve been for lunch and dinner and will definitely return. Thanks for a nice casual place to enjoy a meal!

If you’re a big-back like me… you got to try the #15. Slam Stack Burger with BBQ sauce on the side. They had really good fresh thick cut French fries. The customer service made me feel like I was is in the south again. that southern hospitality just without the Texans accent!!!!

Best burgers in the area by far. If you live in Santee or Lakeside and are still going to fast food joints, you are only fooling yourself

Great experience at Cali Stack Burgers today. We had a large order for a company lunch and everything was fresh & ready for pick up early. Great staff & great food. We will be back!

In addition to the in addition to the all beef burgers and fries they also have an excellent assortment of vegan hamburgers that, to me, taste better than the real thing. Friendly staff. Plenty of seating.

Ok, pros and cons. Took the family. Prices are reasonable. Food was very good. Chili cheese fries are a good portion and loaded. Burger was excellent and the bun is perfect for a burger. Had the cali blue burger and it doesn't disappoint. Son had a spicy burger and said it was excellent. Daughter had potato salad and macaroni salad. Hugh portions, enuf for the 4 of us. The place is clean and well maintained, well lit, inside and out. The chairs are very uncomfortable. The cons, employees were Meh attitude. Daughter asked for a cup of water and we were unknowingly charged 2.99. That is not good business. My bottle of water was cheaper. Cashier should have told me. Food took a long time. Waited a good 20 minutes and only us in the place. Two signs say NO PUBLIC RESTROOMS. but the sign above the door says RESTROOM, yet the sign ON the door says....No Public Restroom. Saw a man, who obviously knew the game, get the key.

Burgers taste better than a drive thru, good atmosphere and nice staff but didn't exactly have a wow factor for me. Love that it is local. I'll probably be back some time.

Amazing quality especially for the price. I got the hawaiian burger which was great. The sweet potato fries were great too! The garlic fries, not so much. Atmosphere was better than I expected but not somewhere I'd be excited to dine in. It also smelled strongly of mopping chemicals. I wish restaurants would stop using scented cleaners. It is so unappetizing. But it WAS clean and for that I'm always grateful 🙏

I asked if their onion rings were made fresh, and the girl said no. So frozen. I passed and ordered the fries instead. 15-20 min later, I am finally given my food to go. Way too long considering how slow it was. When I get home I find that this Panini burger was over cooked, and comes with no dressing, lettuce or onion. VERY plain and dry. I would have given them one star for the food, but they were saved by the french fries I ordered. Nicely seasoned, and tasted good. I do not think I will be returning however.

I ordered the chicken tender combo expecting it to be actual tenders. What I got was oversized chicken nuggets and burned fries with no seasoning. Would not recommend
