First time going to Charo Chicken. I got the 3 PC with rice and pinto beans, which tasted like your homemade chili beans. Also got an order of Nachos. De-lish. Mask, social distancing in FFE.

Charo Chicken serves amazing halal Mexican food! The steak burrito is delicious, the loaded nachos are great, and the chicken is high quality and authentic. The service is excellent, and Mr. Muntazir, the owner, is a fantastic host. I highly recommend it to Mexican food lovers, especially those seeking halal options near Long Beach Airport.

By far the BEST food I had while visiting the LA area. Visited twice in 2 days. Very flavourful and portions are really big. The staff were very welcoming and gave us some really good options to try. NOT TO BE MISSED !!! This is a 5.0 star place !

We were visiting from Chicago, and honestly the food was incredible! My husband and I are total foodies so our expectations are always really high anytime we go to a restaurant! And this place blew us away! It’s totally halal! The customer service was incredible ! Definitely worth the visit! I saw a review that someone was complaining about the prices, let me tell you… you’re paying for the quality of food you’re getting (actual real meat!) ! From the veggies, to the guacamole even down to the sauces everything was extremely good quality! And honestly their prices were completely reasonable! I think that person was comparing Taco Bell mystery meat prices to this.

Mashallah! Zabiha meals. met a brother who took his family and mother to eat here. Mashallah, the brother was serving his mother and family before he eats! Meals was delicious, the tortilla is at another level, very unique taste. The Mexican drink is creamy, almost taste like melted ice cream in a good way. Chickens are tender and juicy. Alhamdulillah I was totally satisfy! Recommend.

They are amazing at this location. A little out of our way, but more than worth it for the delicious food and friendly staff. My mom always makes this her first meal when she comes to town, and it blows me away that they always remember her! Go to Charo. Show them some love and reap the rewards.

One of my best experience, the taste of the chicken is one of a kind delicious juicy very flavorful can’t compare to any other flavor or chicken restaurant. I’ll drive miles to get it at any time you won’t be disappointed. The sizes are totally delicious and fresh.

Man, I freaking love this place. As I kid I liked pollo loco but as an adult Charo chicken is my number one love. I always get the Papa Charo but there is nothing wrong with switching it up from other menu items such as the spicy bowl, tostada bowl and a quesadilla. Those are all my favorites and what goes on my rotation frequently.

I went here for the first time . It's more of an Indian flavor kind of chicken, I thought it was like a Chard Mexican BBQ style chicken, but it was not , the wing was undercooked , you would need to try it yourself,

Staff was very helpful and friendly. Spanish rice had NO flavor and the beans have like nasty heat on the back end. Maybe this why this location is NEVER busy. Hope they figure it out

The flavor was so so… I kept hoping I won’t get food poisoning since the chicken tasted weird. As for the quantity of the food, it was small portions for the price. In hindsight, it probably best since it wasn’t good. No wonder it was quiet during dinner time.

Normally, the food here is good, but tonight, I ordered a salad for pickup, and many of the greens were slimy, turning brown, and inedible. The apples on the salad were also going bad and tasted very off. I called the restaurant to give them an opportunity to make it right, but I was not offered a refund or anything at all in the way of customer service. Sucks. I will not be going back after this.
