Great quick friendly service. The boneless and bome in wings tested great. The extra side of ranch was huge! Thank you! I hadn't gone to Applebee's in 2 years. I used curbside and drove 15 minutes home and they were still fresh and crispy.

This is our first time coming to an Applebees after having absolute horrible service at the San Dario location 5x!!! We were craving Applebee's today so we came up all the way to the one in the north location and I just wanted to say 100% better than San Dario. Our server was really good and polite and our food came out fast and on time. I forgot to ask our servers name but she did a good job! (She had the red hair :) )

The lunch special was delicious. I had the chicken soup & club sandwich. So so good.

Management should pay more attention to their waitress services. We went to celebrate a birthday party and we didn't have a good service, i do not have anything against no one but I really think that if someone is going to have a good time in this restaurant they just need to do a good service. After we paid, we needed to give a good tip amount for a bad service. 👎

We really enjoyed our dinner here after a near bad experience. I had already been here before with a friend and had a great time so I decided to go out with my family soon after. Our plan initially was to sit outside being that it was a nice day, however we were never assisted after 15 minutes, so we got up and walked away. As soon as we were loading into our car, a manager rushed to us and promised to make it up to us with persistence. We decided to take up his offer, but this time we sat inside, and thank goodness we did because this was the very GREAT service I had the first time. My husband and my son both had a great time with the fun environment and the food was perfection! All it really was, was being outside and them not being used to having people out there before 6pm. They promised to work on it and I believe the whole management. They did a wonderful job with representing their business. Highly recommend.

Always a favorite. Nice, calm, and surprisingly not busy. Maybe because it was Easter Sunday lunch. Always order cheese sticks, they are the best. First time trying the pecan blondie, new favorite dessert.

The best part of this restaurant was the amazing server. Esmeralda was amazing and great with my daughter. The appetizer spinach dip was ok, but honestly not worth it. I was hoping for some great ribs, but they were wildly overcooked and slathered with sauce (which wasn't great). Next time I want ribs I'll just grill at home. My wife and daughter both enjoyed their meals.

Just ordered delivery of a steak dinner from this establishment. 😋 Steak cooked to perfection 👌 The delivery driver was a wonderfully pleasant young lady. The service given for an outside customer was one of the very best I've ever received, their inside service must be spectacular!! Served as I requested, with extra alfredo sauce and buffalo sauce on the tenders!! Food had great taste and our strawberry lemonades were on point! Our waiter was very nice and gave us great service. Applebees is one of our favorite restaurants to have dinner at!

This location has a good​ atmosphere, kept clean and service is great. The staff are all very attractive and professional. Food has been tasty and is temperatured just right. Good job. Abel our server did an awesome job!

It's like any other Applebee's, but this one is clearly newer and more modern-looking. The food is ok, the boneless wings are awesome (on my top 5 favorites). They're served with plenty of sauce and dip (other places get stingy with their sauces). I find it weird that there's a server that passes offering hello shots; feels tacky, but somehow funny

The food was ok to speak with but that's not the chefs fault as it was the food design. My food came with a honey glazed friend chicken strip. The honey did not go well with the sort of cream that was with the dish. For a dish that claim four cheese I did not taste cheese. The server was kind the problem their was too much time between the drink refills and the check. I would probably blaim that on low staff count or poor management but the server was very kind and friendly.

Once we git served, service was alright. It took almost 15 minutes before we got served, and qe had to ask who was in charge of our table. The excuse was they ewere understaffed. Thing is people who were seated after us, were served before we were. We had similar problems at the other Laredoocation.

Visited at 11am on Mother's Day. They were open and the place was empty which, admittedly, was fantastic. We were seated immediately (versus the 30-45 minute wait of other restaurants on Mother's Day). Wait staff was ready to serve immediately. Proactively asked for high chairs for our little ones, so that was a plus. The staff was bilingual and happy to help in both languages. The food was good, but my fettucini alfredo was a bit on the warm/room-temperature side. Everything else was great.

Went there for some drinks with a friend and they were really good it's a nice place to chill. They have the touch tunes system which makes better because now you have music to distract you from any awkward silences. Over all it's a nice place and the server was very attentive.

Came in and seated myself at the bar. Bartender Nikki was attentive and very pleasant. Chicken sandwich was reasonably good. Overall a 7.5/10 experience.

Food is constant with other Applebee's, good for a franchise place. Most of the time that I visit a server gets some part of the order wrong. During my recent visit, I was given a plate I didn't order, for example. Staff hardly have checked in on my table for two when I've gone, especially when the place is empty. (Always short staffed?) Regardless, the food is good, the service is tolerable, and the place is super clean.

Pretty chill place to eat. The food took awhile to come out. My smoothie drink never came out until somebody asked if I was missing a drink. Then we could clearly hear them making it. Turns out they never even made it. They seem to be a slow business during the day. But the food came out and the burger was good and the boneless were a 6/10. Nothing out of this world.

All together it was an alright time. We did have a new waitress which made the experience a little frustrating. Wait time for drinks a bit much. The food was alright. The music is selected by the public which gives the ambiance a melting pot of all genres...odd.

My visit was alright. Took the server about ten minutes to get to us even though it was very slow. Food took about 40 minutes to arrive. So not a good place if you only have an hour lunch. Food was spot on and delish.

First time ordering on the app and to go. Both are easy to use and convinient options. Food was good, as always. The service once I went to pick on the other hand needs work took quite a while to get someone to check on my order and the asst manager that finally brought it basically just threw it in the counter saying "here it is".

The food was great however it took quite awhile to get our food to us and asking for refills also meant we were gonna be waiting for awhile.

Went to enjoy happy hour at this restaurant along with Monday night football. The layout of the restaurant and bar is awesome. That was the most impressive things. Service not up to par it seemed like they were very short staffed. Food was delicious and arrived on time. The slow service did cause our mood to change bc they were so slow we missed last call for Happy Hour. The manager Miguel had to come take our drink order and comes back at 11:03 to tell me happy hour is over. Service was not good. Waited on breadstick for salad from waitess. Asked the manager for it instead. Waited too long for a beer and a menu. Had to ask manager to get one for us. Food is always good as well as drinks. Service was slow.

The food was good but the service was terrible. We were greeted at the front door and then taken to a table to sit down. After about 10 minutes with no server coming over to us to take our drink orders, I had to go find one. She took our drink orders and then brought us our drinks. It took a long time for her to return to take our lunch order. After our food was brought out to us she never came by to see if we needed anything. So our drinks remained empty for about half of our meal. After we were finished, I had to go find someone to bring us our bill so we could pay it and leave. I think their new ad on television should say something like this. "Applebee's! Where you can have good food but not so good service."

The music is too loud to speak comfortably. The waiter couldn't hear what we were ordering. We asked if they could lower the volume, and kindly did.

Server was disoriented. We've had good experiences before. We got taken care of. Few minutes later the server asks us what we want to eat and drink. She was nice but a little out of it. We then get the wrong order. Instead of 2 meals we get one. It was wrong. Wrong drink. It was late. Perhaps I should cut some slack.

We were the only customers so service was fast. Food was good and hot. Service was okay not the best I've ever had. I had bbq ribs and had to ask for the wet wipes. Waitress only returned 1 time to check on us.

The service was ok. The servers was nice it was more of the food being served that needed a bit help. The first drink came to the table with whip cream over flowing from the poor application of the whip cream .... The mushroom and Swiss burger was served with yellow American cheese. I just hate to leave such a review but it's honest and unfortunately when you pay for something such as service and food it's little room for human error.... But overall the gentleman who serviced us was wonderful 😊

Overall, this location is pretty chill and clean. Their margarita needs work. They told us about half price appetizers starting at 9p.m. and then failed Happy Hour is at 10p.m. instead of 9p.m. on Fridays, so we ended up paying full price. Wonton tacos are awesome still.

Waited almost 8 minutes just to get our drink order but I had to ask some waiter "who had our table?". They also took long in bringing our drinks. Crystal saved it from me rating it a 1 star. Food was good but we did get our appetizers and food at the same time so that defeats the purpose of ordering appetizers. Over all Father's Day was not ruined. Thank you crystal for your excellent service from the Parra family.

We ordered to go, not much Seafood selection. Food was improperly cooked. For the prices, we expected better. I guess they figure if you take it to go, you won't return if there's a problem. They should put the same care in preparing all the meals and be consistent.

The food was really subpar. It was just very haphazardly thrown together so the presentation was just a big sloppy mess. My bahama mama was mainly just soda, tasted nothing at all like a bahama mama. While our waitress had the amazing quality of remembering our order, we barely saw her to get refills. When we were done eating we waited a while before we were able to get the check which we had card in hand to give to her knowing it would be a while before we saw her again, but of course she just quickly set the check down and took off without even looking at us. Over all, this experience just confirmed why we never go to Applebees.

I usually like going to Applebee's and I often have come to this Applebee's (International in Laredo) on Thursdays to watch Thursday night football on Amazon....but it's always ify, some Thursdays they say we don't have Amazon, we can't show the game but then on another Thursday they are showing the game on Amazon.....so which is it ? No consistency......last night I was told by the girl at the bar, we are not showing it then after speaking to another customer sitting at the bar, he told me Applebee's just told him they would turn it to the Amazon nfl game......After I told him what they told me, we both left and went to Chili's and Chili's had the game on...... I mean Applebee's is supposed to be a sports kinda place right ? But yet they never keep up with games, you have to ask them and many times the response is "Oh there is a game "? Even on Sundays when the Cowboys are playing.....

I should’ve read the reviews before coming here. I usually do. Our server needs to be trained better he was forgetful he forgot to bring my salad and my sons drink refill he took from the table. But the worst thing that happened was I didn’t get my food in time. All my guests had there food and were eating and mine was still not ready. The manager came to apologize and ask if I wanted a soup or salad I said no because I had already eaten a salad. I asked for my plate to go and after getting my receipt I saw “comp” next to my $2.99 salad. I’m disappointed with overall service and will most likely not visit this Applebee’s again. Also there wasn’t a full house so I don’t understand why it happened.

Food was good, service in the other hand, VERY 👎. I won't be going back, sorry Applebee's, but it was empty to start with. We had to stop other waitress to help us, even the hostess stepped in to help us get a bag to go.

This location has never been a great, but the food is usually decent. The staff, although slow is usually very friendly. But this time that we went, our waitress kept disappearing. She constantly forget to check on us. We waited longer for her to bring the check, then we did for appetizers, and when we were there, they were not very busy at all, and they seemed properly staffed so I’m not really sure what the problem was this time.

We got a table for 4 quickly but were seated for 12 minutes before we decided to ask someone to take our drink order. The person we got to take our drink order wasn't our server but she said she would pass our order to our server. Our sever took another 10 minutes to come to our table. The hostess nor server bothered to give us utensils. We also had to ask for those. It took approximately 30 minutes after ordering the food for it to come out. But at least the food was correct and good.

The food is generally good but the service in this location is bad. We didn't end up staying this time because there was no service. To start, no host greeted us. When someone finally showed up they seated us and we were just forgotten. A server walked by, didn't even bother to ask if we had been helped yet. After about 20 minutes we left.

I had stopped coming to this branch for over a year because last time I was here I only saw the waiter when ordering, when I got my food, and when paying. Had to eat entire meal without anything to drink. Time has passed thought it would be different, same problem. Had to stop other employees to get service, and had to get up and walk over to the waiter twice to pay my bill. Table next to me was waiting for their drinks for over 30min. Once I got my bill was when they got their drinks. Thank you Michelle F (waiter).

We asked him 3 times if they could customize our drink and the 2 times he came back he said “what was your order again,” and “let me check.” I understand this might have been the servers first day but at least out effort in helping guests. The food is just as well as any other Applebee's. The atmosphere is good as well. The SERVICE IS TERRIBLE... The tables are always dirty and sticky and your server is never around. I frequently go because of their late closing hours and that's what keeps me going back, but every time I go I experience the same TERRIBLE SERVICE. I never been approached by a manager (maybe there isn't one) to see if you're well attended. Servers are nowhere to be seen. They're harder to spot than deer in hunting season...

My wife and I went in and no one attended to us. The only employee we saw was a server who stood at a table talking with customers who were eating their meal. He never came to seat us, and no other employe came out. The area where he was standing was by the windows, which means he would have seen us drive up, and then walk in. I guess they don't need customers, so we left.

Food great, waitress not so much. Waived her down after a while to have a refill, once she saw me she checked on another table first that was not calling her. Then in front of her my friend accidentally spilled her drink while the waitress was placing the food on the table. The waitress left and didn't help pick up spill. My friend had to go behind thier station for a rag to clean up the spill! A lot of things could have changed this experience !

Terrible service! I was waiting for my waiter to attend to my family and I and no one showed up to get our order. I guess you have to be white to get the top notch service here.

The female staff taking care for the to-go orders/online orders is a liar. She will approach you in the to-go parking and will give you false assurance. She will tell you that the order will be ready in 5 minutes and will be handed to you in the to-go parking. 30 minutes have past no order came out. Waited 45 minutes to get our 3 plates served at different times. When one person didn't have silverware waitress game him a dirty fork with mayonnaise on it. Tacos oozed with water and were tasteless. Food was in general very bland. After asking for our check we did not receive help until about 40 minutes later when our original waitress asked if we wanted the check again. Food and drinks were also charged incorrectly on our divided checks.

Most Racist place to go at 9 pm. My family was treated with such discrimination because we are not at the bar. Wait staff cater and wait on alcohol drinkers and the color of your skin is treat as well accordingly. Wow. Not happy at this location. Feel sleep waiting for dinner.

I'm here now @ 2037 12/26/17, it's a busy night. The appetizer arrived and 5 minutes later the dinner plates arrived. No time to enjoy the appetizers. We both ordered the bourbon chicken and got to eat our food cold. The waitress offered to put it under an warmer but what's the purpose. There's no point in asking for a manager because all he is going to do is apologize for the lack of attention to service and let it keep happening.

Horrible experience! My chicken sandwich was brought without fries, my wife ordered a Moscow Mule and we were told they don't make those, then she ordered a Mojito and was told they don't make those either. I ordered a 25 ounce Oktoberfest and was told they only had it in bottles not draft. Then I was brought a Boston Lager in a bottle and when I said I ordered an Octoberfest I was told they only have that in draft and they didn't have it......what is wrong with this place!?

Sat there for over 10 minutes. They sat a family directly next to me. The family had their orders in and everything before I got helped. The only reason I got my order in is because I made direct eye contact with a waitress as she walked by with food. Had the unlimited boneless wings because they were out of shrimp. The first portion was good but every other time I got a re-order it was exactly 5 wings and a heap of fries. Then they brought me a re-order of buffalo wings instead of bbq. I didn't have a chance to tell them it was wrong so I sat there and eventually they came back and said oops that's the wrong order and swapped my plate. They took that plate to the other table without a second thought. The fastest service I received was when I asked for the check. I got that thing within 30 seconds of asking. Overall terrible service, and small portions designed to fill you up on fries. I will not be back.

From the get go the service was horrible. The servers don't seem enthusiastic about working there. They didn't greet us at all or acknowledge us for that matter until we interfered with their conversation and asked to be seated. There was not a lot of people to begin with. We were seated and our beverages and food were ordered. No utensils were given, we had to ask for them. Our caesar salads were brown and we asked to switch to a different salad (house). They brought the new salads and they were the same brown color; we ate what we could. Our waitress took forever to come by our table and offer refills. The lights went out in our section only; I don't know what that was about. We asked for the check and they took long bringing it to our table. When they did, they took another long while and we just decided to get up and pay up front. Turns out that we had to wait for our server but we had already waited for fifteen minutes. And lastly, I would like to point out that the lighted signs are too dark. We almost missed the restaurant altogether because they weren't well-lighted and visible. Overall, I would say this was a bad experience. I will definitely not be going back.

Wow bad experience, the host didn't know anything about her promotions (gift cards). No forks or knifes with food, salads we're yellow in color!!! Manager only took off a small side salad of the check, wow...big deal... The server was very nice and seemed to care about was going on. Won't be coming back soon or ever. For the price, I rather go to other near by dine in resturarests. Beware, and stay away from this place, you won't regret it.

Worst service ever and not just from the waitress (who was stoned) but from the manager as well! Took 20-30 min. to even get a waitress, had to ask the hostess to go grab somebody. Waitress got all of our food AND drink orders wrong which took like 40 min. to even come out and she would barley even come over to our table to check up on us. When I complained to the manager he acted like he didnt even know how to handle the situation. After all that we waited another 20 min. to bring out my bf's correct meal and there was a damn hair in it!! Then we were given $5 off $25 coupons for our next visit!!! We're NEVER going back there!!!! All we wanted was to enjoy some nice apps and drinks and instead left infuriated on an empty stomach!!!!!

The food was great but TERRIBLE ATTENTION. When we tried to called Host and waitress, they ignored us. Host was on her phone because we had to stand up to tell her we wanted drinks, and waitress talking with coworkers. When we gave her an advice to pay more attention to customers, she retaliate saying "we don't get paid per hour..." That was very RUDE. NO EYE CONTACT, when we tried to reason with her to be cordious. They were so slow and not too many customers. Now I know why.

Entered the restaurant and waited to be seated. Noticed the place was not packed with people. Waited a bit more and the waitress passed by and told us they will be with us shortly. I ordered a simple bacon cheeseburger. I mean, why bother asking for the “temperature” of the meat. First off, the burger was cold, well done (asked for some pink) and it was dry of course. The size of the patty was really good… but cold, hard and dry not so much. And I got there at least 5 mins before the scheduled pickup time. Clearly the burger was sitting there for 10-15 mins. The service when I picked up the curbside order was really good also. Spoke with two young ladies, both were great.

The restaurant is run down. Gross bathrooms., door paint falling off.the building inside bad. Never go again.

Customer service was good .Drinks plain trash ! Food apart from the hard broccoli was maybe border line garbage recommended you go to H-E-B , buy everything fresh then go home and make it instead horrible experience. Server was good until we let her know about a baha mama drink that taste only like if we order simply syrup on the rocks .(peach) . worst customer service ever! i ordered an order on the phone at 6. lady said it was going to take 20-25 mins. i go and the food ISN’T ready. it wasn’t even being made. they made my boyfriend wait a good 30-45 min for a SMALL ORDER. they gave me a regular cheeseburger instead of a kid’s cheeseburger and the wrong mac and cheese. didn’t even give us our drinks either! my boyfriend had to go back AGAIN for a strawberry lemonade and a kid’s apple juice and they have him regular lemonade. WILL NOT be ordering from here again. they seriously need to prioritize online orders too. ended up leaving at 7:30!

Terrible service. Visited on a Friday night expecting to have drinks and appetizers, was sat down and never attended to for about 15 minutes. Multiple servers passed our table of 4 people and we were never acknowledged even after we asked for service. Will NEVER be visiting this location again and it’s sad because we only have 2 Applebees in Laredo and this one was the closest to me. UPDATE (December 18, 2025): After posting my original review, I was contacted by upper management - a gentleman named Carlos - on December 5th. He apologized for the poor experience and promised to send me a gift card by December 8th to make up for the inconvenience. He even personally invited me back to the location. It is now December 18th, and I have not received any gift card as promised. This broken promise, on top of the already terrible service we experienced, has completely solidified my decision to never return to this location. It's one thing to have bad service, but to have management reach out, make promises, and then not follow through is even more disappointing.

Worst Applebees I’ve been too in my life, coming from a life long resident of San Antonio, it is nothing like this over there! First you come and a HI welcome to Apple bees would’ve been a good start, but the host while turning away and barely hearing what she is saying because of the blasted music, we finally hear her asking for how many, but in rude manner as we were a bother to walk in there! Then she gets us a table and throws the menus on the table. Then another girl gets there asking for drinks all plain and without no effort! Drinks get there and another server comes to ask what are we gonna order within seconds of getting our drinks and barely reading the menu and ask her to give us a minute. She goes helps another table and by the time she finished in that table you would’ve thought she come back to our table to see if we were ready after being with the other table for like 5 minutes to take our order and have two orders in hand to put both orders in. So she goes to place that order and never came back to us to ask if we were ready never after waiting! The original host passes by and we ask for the server and she gives a disgusted look as we were bothering her again like when we came in, there was no names tags on anyone so it was a small build girl with dark to black hair that was acting like that. And the server that never showed up to take our order was a mid-heavy girl with glasses and tattoos! It was like15-20 minutes in and still no order taken from us, so we got up and left, my wife had asked for lemons and Splenda for her tea and never got a chance to taste her drink cause those lemons and Splenda never got there! Whoever is the manager at this location needs to retrain these employees with dignity and respect towards the customer walking in there and handing a living to their employees.

They gave us a table next to all this mess, i thought they were going to clean, never did, waitress only came to ask if we need anything a couple of times, food was good but service and cleanness was awful

We showed up when they opened at 11am. This restaurant is the most disgusting place I've ever sat in. Food on the floor from the night before and in the seats, smells like old spoiled food and the food itself is horrible and super low quality for the price they charge. The bathrooms have poop and toilet paper on the bowls and floor. There was a napkin under our table with chewed food on it, greasy, sticky tables. Our waitress was nice and super apologetic and the manager comped our check but we will NEVER be coming back. It honestly wouldn't surprise me if people get food poisoning or catch something from this place.
