Waited almost 8 minutes just to get our drink order but I had to ask some waiter "who had our table?". They also took long in bringing our drinks. Crystal saved it from me rating it a 1 star. Food was good but we did get our appetizers and food at the same time so that defeats the purpose of ordering appetizers. Over all Father's Day was not ruined. Thank you crystal for your excellent service from the Parra family.

1/1/26 dined in for drinks with friends to have a good time! Our server seemed to have no motivation to work or even care. We asked him 3 times if they could customize our drink and the 2 times he came back he said “what was your order again,” and “let me check.” I understand this might have been the servers first day but at least out effort in helping guests. Ruined the Vibe, paid and left.

The food is just as well as any other Applebee's. The atmosphere is good as well. The SERVICE IS TERRIBLE... The tables are always dirty and sticky and your server is never around. I frequently go because of their late closing hours and that's what keeps me going back, but every time I go I experience the same TERRIBLE SERVICE. I never been approached by a manager (maybe there isn't one) to see if you're well attended. Servers are nowhere to be seen. They're harder to spot than deer in hunting season...

Bartender never was here 😅😵‍💫🥵 We have to ask for another drink when she was back ! (Every 25 mnts ) You guys need to train better your employees! Really needs to spend some time and money on training! Food was good at least 😜 Any way we leave our tip 😝

worst customer service ever! i ordered an order on the phone at 6. lady said it was going to take 20-25 mins. i go and the food ISN’T ready. it wasn’t even being made. they made my boyfriend wait a good 30-45 min for a SMALL ORDER. they gave me a regular cheeseburger instead of a kid’s cheeseburger and the wrong mac and cheese. didn’t even give us our drinks either! my boyfriend had to go back AGAIN for a strawberry lemonade and a kid’s apple juice and they have him regular lemonade. WILL NOT be ordering from here again. they seriously need to prioritize online orders too. ended up leaving at 7:30!

Terrible service. Visited on a Friday night expecting to have drinks and appetizers, was sat down and never attended to for about 15 minutes. Multiple servers passed our table of 4 people and we were never acknowledged even after we asked for service. Will NEVER be visiting this location again and it’s sad because we only have 2 Applebees in Laredo and this one was the closest to me. UPDATE (December 18, 2025): After posting my original review, I was contacted by upper management - a gentleman named Carlos - on December 5th. He apologized for the poor experience and promised to send me a gift card by December 8th to make up for the inconvenience. He even personally invited me back to the location. It is now December 18th, and I have not received any gift card as promised. This broken promise, on top of the already terrible service we experienced, has completely solidified my decision to never return to this location. It's one thing to have bad service, but to have management reach out, make promises, and then not follow through is even more disappointing.

Worst Applebees I’ve been too in my life, coming from a life long resident of San Antonio, it is nothing like this over there! First you come and a HI welcome to Apple bees would’ve been a good start, but the host while turning away and barely hearing what she is saying because of the blasted music, we finally hear her asking for how many, but in rude manner as we were a bother to walk in there! Then she gets us a table and throws the menus on the table. Then another girl gets there asking for drinks all plain and without no effort! Drinks get there and another server comes to ask what are we gonna order within seconds of getting our drinks and barely reading the menu and ask her to give us a minute. She goes helps another table and by the time she finished in that table you would’ve thought she come back to our table to see if we were ready after being with the other table for like 5 minutes to take our order and have two orders in hand to put both orders in. So she goes to place that order and never came back to us to ask if we were ready never after waiting! The original host passes by and we ask for the server and she gives a disgusted look as we were bothering her again like when we came in, there was no names tags on anyone so it was a small build girl with dark to black hair that was acting like that. And the server that never showed up to take our order was a mid-heavy girl with glasses and tattoos! It was like15-20 minutes in and still no order taken from us, so we got up and left, my wife had asked for lemons and Splenda for her tea and never got a chance to taste her drink cause those lemons and Splenda never got there! Whoever is the manager at this location needs to retrain these employees with dignity and respect towards the customer walking in there and handing a living to their employees.

They gave us a table next to all this mess, i thought they were going to clean, never did, waitress only came to ask if we need anything a couple of times, food was good but service and cleanness was awful

We showed up when they opened at 11am. This restaurant is the most disgusting place I've ever sat in. Food on the floor from the night before and in the seats, smells like old spoiled food and the food itself is horrible and super low quality for the price they charge. The bathrooms have poop and toilet paper on the bowls and floor. There was a napkin under our table with chewed food on it, greasy, sticky tables. Our waitress was nice and super apologetic and the manager comped our check but we will NEVER be coming back. It honestly wouldn't surprise me if people get food poisoning or catch something from this place.
