Delicious street tacos and tortas. You got barbacoa, steak, chicken, pastor (seasoned pork), fish, and vegetarian tacos. Tortas are similar just minus the fish and vegetarian option. Never been a fan of black beans, but these are very tasty. Pair it with a Mexican Coke and it's an awesome meal. Atmosphere is very casual, and staff is super friendly. Average price for a meal will run about $16 to $17 after tax which is very reasonable. The menu does have breakfast which one day I want to try. Overall, highly recommend.

Came here as a recommendation from a local. The street tacos were really good. I got 1 chicken, 1 steak, and 1 pastor. The steak was my favorite. I would not get the chips again, but the salsa was fine.

I don’t review restaurants generally but I thought this one needs a review. Food was really good. If you are a fan of street tacos please try this place. Refried beans were good too. It’s super cost effective as well.

This is the best taco spot ever. I live about a mile away from this location and the steak tacos with cilantro and onions are magical. They season the meat perfectly. After drizzling salsa and squeezing the limes on my taco, it creates an explosion of flavor! I will gladly keep giving them my money. Just keep the savory tacos coming.

So happy I found this place!! Hands down the best burrito I’ve had since moving to DFW. I got the barbacoa with added guacamole and it came to just under $13. The burrito was huge! It was a bit of a mess when I opened it, but it was delicious so I really cannot complain - especially considering that it was stuffed full and had a generous amount of meat! I will definitely come again! I’d like to try their breakfast burritos sometime :)

Best experience ever in taco place. Best quality Mexican food around here. Burritos and tacos are fantastic. The steak grill is the best taco place I've had in a while. I recommend the homemade vanilla ice cream also. It just Fantastic.

Ale Taco continues to be one of my favorite taco spots in all Dallas. Their tacos are always served hot, fresh and loaded with tasty meat. Servers are fast and accurate. The Huarache combo is a steal for 12$. It includes a 10"-12" Huarache loaded with your favorite protein, large soda, and about 10 oz portion of rice. My wife enjoys the Gorditas and barbacoa tacos. We do not drink alcohol, but craft beer along with the usual american and mexican beers are always available. Don't miss out on the caramel churros. They are the hottest, crunchiest and most goowey churros in Dallas. The rewards system is very generous and easy to accumulate $15-$20+ in just a few visits.

You don't come here for the ambience, you come for the tacos! The street tacos are great! My favorites are the shrimp tacos. They come with fresh spinach and grilled onions and bell pepper. The barbacoa, fish and pastor are good as well. And the breakfast tacos are always tasty. Their 3 tacos with 2 sides is just right for lunch. The rice and beans are good. We also love their tres leches cake :) It looked like the flan was popular. We'll have to try that next time. They have a number of dessert choices. They also list craft beer, but we've never tried any. However, their iced tea is really good.

Listen this Taco place is now my favorite! Fresh food made to order! I was so greedy I got the special!! The chicken is so fresh and juicy! My favorite tacos here! I also got the daiquiri and it was amazing! The staff is so awesome, patient, helpful, professional and kind! I will be back to this place ALOT! If you know me you know when I find a 5 star Taco spot I am there atleast 2-4 times a week!

Ordered food via Grubhub and it did not disappoint. Food was ready when they said it would be ready. I need to go back here and try eating in the restaurant. Highly recommend the pastor and barbacoa! The elote was delicious too. Honestly can’t complain about everything we got from this restaurant.

Good place to go for a quick street taco fix. You order at the counter, you're given a number, and then they bring the food to your table. There's a soda machine as well as bottled drinks in coolers. It's a very casual, relaxed atmosphere. My husband and I stopped in to try a new place. It was clean and comfortable. He ordered the 3 chicken taco combo with refried beans and chips and salsa. I ordered the barbacoa tacos with black beans and chips and salsa. My husband's order was incorrect when they brought it out, as he was given rice instead of refried beans. He kept it and we shared his rice and my black beans. The individual servings are big, so plenty for 2 people anyway. The chips are a huge serving also, but the salsa is in a smallish container. My husband really enjoyed his food. Honestly, I didn't like the barbacoa, so I just took it out of the tortillas and ate them by themselves. The barbacoa was very strong and had a wild meat taste to me. There was a TON of barbacoa in the tortillas. A TON. I still gave the food 4 stars because I'm sure many people would enjoy the barbacoa. The chips and salsa were so-so. We cleaned up our own table, put the trash in the bin, and sat our trays on top. Easy peasy.

First time at Ale Taco. It’s one of those places that looks like it’s a hole in the wall, but is actually pretty spacious when you walk in. They have a varietal menu including the common favorites. I had the steak tacos with corn tortillas and I added two sides- Mexican rice and chips and salsa. The steak tacos were phenomenal. Well seasoned and very flavorful. The meat went very well with the corn tortillas. They actually add an extra corn tortilla to every taco to make sure that it can hold the amount of meat they put in. I was not a fan of the Mexican rice or the salsa. The rice was a little bland and the salsa was too watery. But the chips were good. Well designed restaurant with an artistic mural on the wall to admire. They also have a variety of desserts to purchase after your meal. In the back wall, they have a variety of drinks that you can combine to make a six pack and purchase it just like that. I look forward to my next visit to Ale Taco.

So I will be honest and state that I came in within the last 10 mins of closing. So the inside stunk due to worker mopping with stinky water. I ordered 2 steak, 1 chicken, and 1 barbacoa. The steak had fat pieces so it was ok, had light seasoning. Barbacoa was EXTREMELY bland, and chicken was the MVP. Seasoned and was amazing! They do put the onions and cilantro on it, not like most taco places where you have to bed for sauce because there was enough when I opened box. Limes were small/not juicy, I like more to help with tacos if not flavored and I could’ve used more onion and cilantro on my tacos. The green sauce is good, just enough spice. Would I return, yes? I will do chicken for everything most likely! Can’t wait to try nachos, burritos, and quesadilla.

The woman that took my order was rude, and I felt rushed to order when I have never eaten at this place before. I ordered 3 tacos and 2 sides. The tacos were amazing, the rice was hard n dry, black beans tasted like they came out of a can. If I come back it will be just for the tacos. The 3 stars are only because the tacos were so good.

Ale Taco is a good taco spot! It’s roomy and nice on the inside. They have a plethora of desert dishes on the menu along with tacos and burrito options. I ordered 4 chicken tacos, Mexican rice, and refried beans (not my favorite, they were creamy and runny - I prefer actual beans and thickness). Regardless, all of my food was flavorful and fresh. And the service was pleasant and quick. The prices were also reasonable. My total meal was about $14. I’m sure I’ll be back.

Went to try this highly rated restaurant and it was severely underwhelming. I ordered the pastor taco plate with rice and black beans and a fish taco. There was a nice crisp to the pastor meat but flavors were left to be desired. The fish taco was absolutely disgusting. I couldn’t tell if it was a fish stick that was cut up or what. The staff were very to themselves and begin set up for closing the restaurant before 9pm. By 9:04 pm 85% of the chairs were put up, they were mopping and you can sense the urgency to get you out of there. We didn’t even leave our table before they were wiping it down. The establishment closes at 9:30 pm. Would not recommend if you’re looking for flavor and service.
