We were greeted and seated right away, which was a great start. The kitchen staff was amazing and everything came out fresh and flavorful. We went around 7:30pm on a Sunday evening, and it was the perfect time—busy enough for good energy but not crowded. The portion sizes were generous, and the food was absolutely delicious. Definitely recommend!
Nigeria! Where have you been all my life! We were feeling adventurous and decided to try this place as we had never had Nigerian food before. I’m so glad we did! Hands down the best food ever! The depth of flavor is astounding! I’m still not entirely certain what it was we ate because I’ve never seen food like this before, but the taste was out of this world! How are we ever going to go back to fried chicken and Mac and cheese! Do be aware their prices listed online are their old prices. I was a little shocked when I went to pick up our food and the total was almost double what we were expecting, but it’s worth every penny! Definitely coming back often!
the food was so good, we got chicken with jollof rice and the beef egusi, the fufu was so soft and the food was so flavorful, portions were amazing we ended up taking some home! service was incredible.
First time coming here. I usually go to zags in the colony but I found this spot and it’s waaaayyyyy better than the other spot. The lady was very kind an had my order made to perfection!!! I got the egusi soup with goat meat only and the fried talapia with the fried plantains with jollof rice on the side, everything tasted amazing!! Absolutely authentic and the flavor was perfect!! I will be coming back!!
I’ve been here multiple times. I absolutely LOVE the food. Customer service has always been top notch. I highly recommend. I’ve never been greeted with attitude & that speaks volume. Obviously the Egusi is my FAVORITE
Yam porridge was delicioussee ordered from uber eats. Sooo good. Jollof and turkey. Wowww, best naija food in a while. Thank you!
Fantastic food. Wonderful owner and son. I was recently in Flower Mound for work and came across this wonderful restaurant. I was blown away at the amazing taste and generous portions. When I was leaving I had to order 2 pans of food to take with me. Her Ofada is one in a million!!!!! She told me she can ship to me. Will definitely be ordering more.
I didn't believe I can eat the legendary Nigerian OHA soup again until I came here. It's just as great as it was back in Nigeria. I really love it, and I recommend anybody looking for african food to check this place out. It's really awesome and has that nigerian specific feeling in food...
Was very hungry today tried to go to Popeye's but Popeyes didn't open on time so I went around the corner to Lagos kitchen and they didn't open until 11:00 but I went in at 10:00 and the lady made me a beautiful delicious tilapia plate with plankton. Will be taking my entire family there soon!

The egusi soup was good here but the container might make you feel like you’re not getting enough. I know that’s how I felt but give it a chance. When I finally got home and got to it the taste was great. I’ll be back again but maybe next time I’ll do the rice
A friend told me about the Restaurant and I didn't make mistake by visiting the place on the eve of Thanksgiving. The foods were delicious and served hot, the environment is neat with friendly staff. I will recommend the place to anyone
I ordered the vegetable beef and chicken w/ fufu and it was very seasoned and delicious. It was the best I’ve ever tasted! I will be returning! That 40 minute drive was well worth it! SORRY I couldn’t add photos, I ate so fast🤭🤭

They don’t cook the cow skin long enough! I ordered and had to end up, cooking the cowskin an extra hour when I received it in order for it to be tender

I went to this place for this first time today and I asked if they had ox tails . I was told yes . I ordered Egusi with Fufu and oxtails. When the gentleman came back with my food I asked to see the food he opened up the container and it was meat in there I’d never seen before. I told him I didn’t want that and if they had chicken yes they had chicken but as you see from the picture the chicken was stale and not edible I’ve picked through the chicken to see if there were some soft pieces . Portion size for the egusi soup was small so I will not revisit .
I've always enjoyed dining at this restaurant in person the food and service are fantastic. However, I was disappointed with the portion size when ordering online. The portions were significantly smaller than what you receive in the restaurant, yet the online price was higher. Paying $25 for a dish, I expect a similar portion size whether dining in or ordering online.
The atmosphere was unfriendly and stale. The food portions were small for the expensive price. The food was decent but it lacked an authentic taste. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

BE CAREFUL! Earlier today I bought some chicken egusi with my white boyfriend after waiting for 20 min for someone to come ask for my order. The lady took my order and said: “I’ll make it special for you” and I thought she was just being nice since I had to wait so long. After a while I finally got my order taken, and proceeded to drive home. Once I was home I started eating and about half way through my food I took a bite and felt something hard and something sharp hitting my gums. I take it out of my mouth and discovered the end of a RAZOR BLADE inside my chicken. I feel unsafe and after hearing how they look at people that aren’t African from other reviews, and even though I’m African I can’t see any other reason there’d be a razor blade in my food other than purposely trying to harm me.
The serving portion was very small for the price…. But it tasted so great. I most likely will not come back for 3 pieces of meat and fufu for almost 30 I could have eaten more for less and better. I left hungry and the cultural differences(no joy smiling or anything. She didn’t offer plantain ( sucks to be American). DONT GO HERE IF YOUR NOT AFRICAN !! Not a welcoming place. But the food is good. Just not enough for the $30 I paid.
I ordered the egusi soup and I was severely disappointed. It was red and not yellowish in color and there was barely any meat and the soup was very small for a charge of $15!! There were chunks of egusi in the soup instead of it being mixed like around like a soup. The worst part was that the soup tasted like stew and not egusi soup. I know what egusi soup should taste like and this had so much stew dripping from it that it let me know that the person didn’t know how to make egusi soup! Check the pictures!

I wouldn't recommend wasting your time or money here, the food was underwhelming. After a 35-minutes drive, our meal was served cold. The waitress who seemed either exhausted or indifferent, was the only one on duty. Despite only having to attend to two tables, she was unresponsive and repeatedly informed us that items we wanted were unavailable. We tried to order fish with our Amala, but were told it would take 30 minutes to prepare, and she didn't even check to see if it was possible before saying no. I won't be returning—both the food and service were disappointing.

Nonsense people, horrible customer service, Frozen food, Unreasonable Prices for rubbish. Called to ask what they put in the Jollof and the lady in the kitchen doesn’t even know what’s in the food her madam only let her dish.
