This place has the best pizza. If you like a thin crust sweet sause, with slices under a dollar still. No where else can you get slices that cheap & that good! Definitely worth it!!

Love this place! I've been coming here my entire life. Love that I can pop in almost at any time and pick up slices on the go or call in a larger order. I've never had a bad experience here! The quality of the service is just as good! I've never called in a order that takes longer than 20 minutes! My only complaint is I wish they opened earlier in the day. But not that big of a deal I don't mind waiting for them to open the overall quality of the food and service makes up for it. I plan on coming back for years to come!

This is my altimeter favorite pizza. It’s so simple and delicious. Always greasy and supper warmed for breakfast. This is a monster pizza tray. I used to be able to eat the whole thing in a night. There something special with the sauce and the pepperoni, I can’t find anywhere else. I can’t wait for the next time in Lockport, I’m in Tampa, Florida now, and I’m trying to figure an excuse to come grab 2 trays and bring some home for everyone else back here, that will kill me if I don’t bring some for them too. It’s been too long, now I’m gonna look up how much it will be to ship to Tampa. I’m not kidding !!! You must stop by for this. Eating this pizza right now all the way in California, only pizza worth taking on a plane across the country. Reminds me of my grandfather from Lockport; pizza is as sweet as he was. Thankful they are still open and available. Pizza is 11/10.

Pizza Oven in Lockport, NY has possibly the best Pizza I’ve ever found in my travels. It a family owned business that has been around since the 1960’s. What makes the pizza so delicious are fours things: 1. The crust is very tasty, it almost tastes like they added sugar and other ingredients to the crust as it’s super good. 2. The crust is crunchy on the outside and yummy chewy on the inside. 3. The pizza’s secret is also in the sweet sauce. I’ve had sweet sauce pizza before but Pizza Oven Sauce is much better than others I have found. 3. It’s made with all natural ingredients, no fillers or artificial ingredients at all! 4. Lastly they only use the char pepperoni and don’t charge extra for it. The char pepperoni, along with a very delicious crust, the sweet sauce make this pizza perfect. Once you’ve try one, you will be back!

Ordered pizza from this establishment when I lived in the area. Fast and tasty with great service. Parking is extremely limited, call in early to place an order. Be patient when standing in line to pick up food. I suggest ordering pickup if you can as it is extremely busy. Owner is very involved in the business and I have seen him at the shop every time I went. Lots of options for food. Only wish would have been to offer a non sweetened sauce but not enough of an issue to not order.

I LOVE their very sweet sauce! I've been eating pizza from here and another local pizzeria for 40 years since I was a kid. I love it so much I'll drive from Williamsville. I wish they opened earlier but I understand staffing and economy. They also have a very nice salt water tank if you are a fan of fish like my family is. Staff has always been friendly.

The pizza and wings were delicious. However, I do feel like my pizza might have been used as the other half of a slice pie because although it was really good, I don't think it was fresh out of the oven.

Grew up enjoying a pizza oven pizza moved away for a long time always missed it relocated in the Buffalo area Tonawanda area and we make the trip twice a month. It's worth the gas and ride for what I consider the best pizza on the planet nothing else comes close!

The lady at the counter was so welcoming and friendly. Pizza was cut really weird but it actually kind of was cool how they cut it. The pizza was great really good sweet sauce with crisp pepperoni.

I was there on Super Bowl Sunday. Service was great and very busy. Pizza was great. I need to state this - I was there when a gentleman came in and it appeared he wanted a free pizza. The clerk was courteous and he left. I saw a review saying the server was racist. From my standpoint in my observation when I was picking up my pizza , I saw absolutely NO racism. They were very nice even chuckled & the man left. Do not know the situation but my opinion it was handled very concise and with a smile. Especially with how busy it was. I always order my pizza there and will continue to recommend .

Pizza was delicious, but customer service was very racist. Come all the way from Buffalo for their pizza but the female who worked super bowl Sunday was outright racist. Courteous to white customers, but darn right nasty to negro patron. Won't be patronizing in the future.

This is the best Pizza in the US. I was born and raised in Buffalo NY area. It's a sweet sauce but you won't be disappointed. I've had the so called best Pizza in NYNY, Chicago, LA, and Phoenix. Pizza Oven pizza hands down is the best. It's worth a trip if you're visiting Western New York. Leave me a comment on what you think! This is a pizza shop not a place to eat at grab and go.

I only tried one item - a pepperoni pizza. The service isn't friendly, the place is tiny so there is no atmosphere, but I would go there again and again for the pizza! It's the sauce - flavorful and sweet at the same time. This is a unique pizza sauce taste I have never had anywhere else. Add to that a bit of char on the thin crust and perfectly melted cheese, and you have an amazing square slice!

Ordered a special 20 wings, and large pizza. 51.00 give or take. Our wings were crispy, not very saucy. Still good. Pizza delicious, as expected. My gf from Rochester, has never had any thing other dog poopy for pizza. Its Rochester 🤷‍♀️. Very happy with our dinner tonight.

I had their pizza and wings for the first time today Thursday May 1st 2025. I must say I was quite impressed with their cheese and pepperoni sweet sauce. Usually I can only eat like two slices of pizza at the most before I like feel sick but this pizza didn't make me feel that way at all and I only ate two slices. Wings are wings but I appreciate not seeing broken wings so for all it's worth I give pizza oven and Lockport New York five stars all day!!!😎 😋

I've heard of this place here and there since I started working in Lockport. We had an emergency dig we had to do at 5pm in Lockport and the guys that helped our got half pep and cheese. Can I tell you some of the best sweet sauce I've had. U can still taste the basil and it was just great. Can't beat it especially for the price for a large pie. I ended up after work same night buying a whole pie just to take home. The sauce is something special there

Very good sweet sauce pizza. The Honey Garlic Wings were very sticky but had exceptional flavor.

Wanted to try out some new pizza places and this one's good! The sauce is very very sweet but not bad. The first time I got it, it was slightly undercooked but I just popped it in the oven a few extra minutes. Compared to other pizza places in the area I'd say this one is the best!

I’ve been going here for a good 20 years now as I am a huge fan of the sweet sauce. Prices are pretty good but in the last three or four years they’ve gone up 25% for the individual slices that I usually get.

Pizza oven is a hole in the wall pizza place. The pizza is excellent, cut funny, but I think it makes it better. The cheese they use is absolutely delicious. Their orders are on time, ready when they say they will be. You don't eat in, so it's not much to look at, but if you go in with kids they have some games and machines to occupy your little ones while you wait for your order. I love this place. It's my favorite place to get a pie in Lockport.

If you like your pizza on the sweet side then this is your one stop for pizza and they do have a bit more than pizza and to tell you how good it is we live in Tennessee and you we come to NY to visit friends and family and the 3 day we was in NY we stop there to get a party tray cheese and pepperoni pizza and as soon as the pizza got in our car I could not wait to get to where we needed to go I had to grab 2 slices and ate and it was like heaven in my mouth. so please if you never had it please stop by and get a slice

Pizza Oven used to have the best pizza in town. New guy took it over and when I got my pizza home, I was saddened. There was one inch of the outer crust that had nothing on it. Cheese and pepperoni were very sparce. I was disappointed in the quality, seemed like new guy was trying to cut costs by severely limiting sauce and toppings.

The taste has always been and will forever be top notch! However I have noticed in recent years that the dough is not baked all the way and continues to cause my stomach to be upset.

I have been ordering strombolis for about 35 years at this business. The last two times they were edible but not like they used to be. It sends like fake mozzarella, it's not cooked long enough. Just not like when Mathers owned the store. I miss the old days

Just placed an order for a sheet pizza and bucket of wings. It really saddens me that you only offer 2 sauces for 50 wings! After spending $60+, you would think 3 sauces would be allowed for that many wings. Stay safe and healthy

Easily the best pizza in WNY that's IF you want pizza during during football season. Always closed during football games guess they don't like money. Noticed they still don't cook their chicken right. Stick with pizza.

Thin crust tasty pizza, good service. It's been a few years. I don't know if sauce has changed or my tastes have, but sauce was almost too sweet, that I could actually taste the sugar.

The pizza is good just two thin and two much sauce it was just sauce and cheese in a box and it's never cut all the way the pizza was one of best when I was a kid but in the last few years the quality went down you can tell they have people that don't care about quality

Despite mixed reviews I decided to doordash food from here because it was the only pizza place available at 10 pm and doordash gave me a good discount. I did not realize they only serve sweet sauce pizza. I ordered for multiple people who hate sweet sauce but I personally don't mind it. The pizza came and looked good but the taste I'd say was a little iffy. It also came cold but that could've been because it was doordashed. Overall okay pizza but not somewhere I'd ever order from again.

Not worth the fuss. Calling in the order, it was hard to keep the women's attention to put in the order. When I got there, there wasn't any parking so I had to park around the corner on a side street. The women rushed me through the paying process and wasn't friendly. Once I brought home the sheet pizza, it was very greasy and not cooked. The dough was still soft on all slices. The only decent part was the sauce. Will not order again.

I have been getting this pizza since the 1970s. I have lived out of town since 1986 and have occasionally made a trip to Lockport from Erie pa to get pizza for my family. For the past two years the pizza has gone down in quality. This trip my brother didn’t even want one. (says it was terrible the last time). I make a better pizza myself now. The only good thing was the sauce but even that was not as good as it used to be. The dough was soggy and under cooked. The cheese was flavorless and the lack of pepperoni was cheap! Clean it up pizza oven or I think Lockport might lose a legend!

Have ordered from PO several times, so this last time we had request that would have made the pizza the way we like it. Our request, cook the pizza for a crispier crust, the pizza is normally very wet and sloppy, but not like NY style pizza. We also ordered medium wings. What we got was a pizza that didn't meet our request, wings were .10$ wing night wings(very small) and no carrots or celery with the wings?!? We didn't order wings from Pizza Hut in North Carolina, in WNY you get carrots/ celery, or both!

I had placed an order for the wings and pizza combo delivered via door dash because at work and I cant leave to pick up, however the wings were spot on however the pizza is horrible, just disgusting..:.worst pizza I've ever seen. everything is burnt around the edges and its super greasy ,and the sauce is way too sweet. like they poured a pound of sugar in to the batch. i will only be ordering wings from here from now on!

We placed an order 1/20 for $160ish worth of food for a birthday party. Once we got home we saw the cardboard containers that the wings were in were leaking everywhere (no big deal) but as we were removing the wings from the container we noticed they looked rubbery, not fully cooked and just gross. We had guests over at this point so just decided to try to air fry them to crisp them up, making a mental note to reach out to the pizza place later in the evening. There was no saving these wings as we bit into them they were pink on the inside. We ended up tossing all 75 wings and we’re only able to eat the pizza (which was great!) I reached out to Pizza Oven via fb after the party to let them know and sent along pics of the wings. The manager agreed the wings looked not crispy in any way and rubbery and that the pink is just a blood vessel not harmful. When asked what we could do to make it right I was informed of their company policy that the customer needs to reach out right away to let them know of the problem as too many people are trying to get free food. Making sure my guests were being fed was my priority and not calling the pizza place. I did not want free food as I had stated, I simply wanted to have been able to eat the food I paid for. Pizza oven isn’t close to my house, we drove specifically there (passing other pizza places on the way) but we won’t be doing that again.

This is probably one of the worst tasting pizzas I've ever had in my life solely due to the insane amount of sugar you add to your sauce. I can't begin to imagine why you have such a good rating here being that your pizza is not even edible to me. I dont mean to bash you but I would imagine you could only benefit by using a higher quality sauce and using way less sugar. Based on the reviews, people seem to like it and apparently it is just not for me. Or any of the other people I was with because we fished all day and were starving and there is seriously only 1 full corner sliced of pizza missing from this pie...then a few with one bite taken out. It's also strange that we ordered a pepperoni pizza and I counted 28 mini slices of pepperoni that only covered 3/8 of the pie. The rest or it was plain cheese. I would have even been okay if you managed to get pepperoni on 1_3 of it. We got 2 sides of ranch and the stuff was super watery and tasted a bit spoiled as if it was sitting out all day. The only good thing I can say is about the 2 liter of rootbeer was awesome. Edit: we drove to Walmart to try and find something a bit more edible to eat from our hotel room with only a microwave. We bought generic pizza bagels. A ton of them. They are all gone and your pizza is still sitting here. We have actually decided that we will return the pizza tomorrow. I don't want money back or anything. I just don't want to risk any animals getting into the hotel rooms dumpster and eating it.

I used the online order to order a pizza for delivery. I ordered toppings but basically just received crust. I called up to complain and they refused to rectify what I can only assume is a malfunction of their ordering system. Woman was very snotty. They lost a customer for a few dollars as it was only a small pizza. What we got was nasty and they kids wouldn't even eat it.

Not good sauce, way too sweet, like a lil kid dumped a bag of sugar in the sauce and thought it would be fun, super thin but not crisp, floppy, yet it tasted like a burt oven too on the edges. Greasy cheese. Wont be coming back.

Just got our food delivered from there. Took a little over an hour. Pizza was gross, it was cold and very soggy. At least our wings were hot and decent. I think they made the pizza and forgot the wings, that's the only reason why we would of gotten a cold pizza and hot wings. Another issue is they cut the pizza long ways then only once down the middle so we ended up with these skinny long pieces of gross pizza. Never again. Waste of my $40. I do not recommend.

Ordered a large pizza and 20 wings yesterday the pizza was disgusting. The pizza was greasy and too thin and hardly any cheese on it. The sauce was too sweet the wings didn't even have any sauce on them I was very disappointed. A total waste of money if you want good pizza and wings go to buffalo don't waste your time.

Used to order from here all the time but the last order took over 2 1/2 hours and they wanted to give me a discount of $6 off, I said I wasn't paying for the pizza and I would rather not take it. The delivery driver said she had to call her boss and never returned. Would leave negative stars if I could, absolutely insane.

Recently placed an order with them, The food showed up in a horrible condition. The Styrofoam container and the plastic containers holding the sauce had completely melted and adhered to the food. Spoke with a manger (Bob) who informed me he would give me a refund and That I need to wait for a delivery guy to pick up the returned food. Delivery guy never showed and no refund was received. I wish I would have taken a picture of the container before I tossed it out.

If you plan on using a coupon for your orders beware that you will not get the complete coupon discount. I ordered a large pizza with several toppings and had a $1 off coupon. I priced out my order on the phone app and the total with tax was $33.61. The coupons do not work on the app so I called in my order. When I arrived to pick up my order 25 minutes after I was told it would be ready, I was told that my pizza was being put in the oven and would be a few minutes. When the pizza was done I was told the order total after taking off the $1 coupon was $34.32. I asked for a receipt and was told they don't give receipts, however I eventually got one. Upon reviewing my receipt I noticed the $1 coupon was listed as $.93 off my purchase. I asked the girl at the counter about it and she didn't have an answer and told me I would need to talk to the manager and walked away. A few minutes later she asked me what I needed and I said the manager. The manager could not explain the reason I was not getting the full $1 off of my order and did not try to correct this. It's a seven cent profit for the business off of me today. I wonder how many other customers they have done this to. The profits can add up with multiple transactions. Maybe they don't want to give receipts to customers because they’re not honest in their business charges or discounts.

4th time this month they said they aren't making any more slices. It's 5:57 pm on a Saturday. There were 4 of us standing there waiting on slices for 10 minutes. And she was quite rude to the woman who asked when slices would be out.

We're new to Lockport and have heard mixed reviews on this pizza. We decided to buy a couple slices to try it and I think this pizza takes the crown as the worst. It's pretty bad when it's worse than Papa John's. Our favorite pizza in Lockport is Molinaros.

I ordered from pizza oven at 10:30. Door dash and uber eats stated they were accepting offers until 10:40pm. I ordered at 10:30pm. I was not informed until 11pm that they canceled the order. No reason given. Pizza oven is open until 11pm on a Friday night. If you don’t want to accept orders at or after 10:30 please specify so. I would have ordered earlier

The pizza was good but Jeff dunn who i guess who apparently works for the city came there and was very rude to the worker and customers. He asked who has slices and then he starts yelling in the parking area. Very rude. how does this man work for the city? Bad hiring.

The sauce on the pizza was sweet and caramelized onto the crust, which to my family and I was absolutely disgusting and disappointing. The pizza was also soggy and limp. Chicken wings were good but not good enough to make up for the pizza. It seems that people in the area like the sauce but the resturant should be more forward about the sauce being sweet vs savory. An ever bigger loss considering our bill was over $70 for two pizzas and 15 wings.

Their pizza is and always has been inedible. I think I've had the displeasure of eating their pizza approximately 3 times being at parties and their pizza is absolutely disgusting. This place only offers sweet sauce as an option and sweet sauce is the most detestable thing I have ever had on pizza. Unlike unfavorable toppings which can be peeled off, their sweet sauce is built into the DNA of their pizza and makes it poisonous from the very start. Every time I have ever had Pizza Oven pizza it has been the most utterly disgusting pizza I've ever had and any social event I go to is partially ruined by the metaphorical stink of knowing disgusting, wouldn't force my worst enemy to eat Pizza Oven pizza will be involved.

Was our go to Pizzeria, ordered weekly from this place and the food was always awesome. Our past three orders over the last 3 to 4 weeks were wrong not ready for pick up as we ordered them. Missing toppings on pizza missing items on an order now 3 times. And the overall quality of the pizza is half of what it used to be this place used to be amazing. I don’t know what happened, but don’t waste your time.

If you like wings made normal and pizza this place is great. But for some unknown reason they just refuse to make extra crispy wings. They have literally given my wife and I attitude over it. I don’t get it. I’ve asked why and they lie telling me that they sit and get “sweaty” but they won’t have been done until I get there and we live 1-2 minutes away. It just doesn’t add up. I’d just stay away if you want extra crispy wings. We do really like their pizza though and their sauces.

Was out of town and just wanted good pizza. This place came highly recommended and had really good reviews. It was by far the absolute worst pizza we’ve ever had. First they only give you 3 pizza size options small, X-Large and sheet. We ordered an X-Large with the hope of taking extra home. The pizza was 45 minutes late. I called to check and make sure my online order actually went through as it was already late. It was barely cooked, soggy, onions were basically raw. We wasted 37 on crappy pizza, rude service. The driver pretty much threw the pizza at my husband and walked away. Will never order again when in the area. Would recommend finding some place else to order.

I’ve seen other people comment about chicken not being cooked here so I figured I would share my experience.. this is the chicken finger we were served here. The manager was nice when we called and acted concerned and apologized, but the owner, not so much. Pretty much said he’s sorry but it’s not his fault if the staff doesn’t listen to cooking instructions. Will never be ordering from here again, absolutely disgusting.

Pizza was soggy, cold, and undercooked. Had to cook it on the grill just to make it edible. Pizza is way too sweet. Tastes like a churro with cheese on top. Went here once before and it wasn't this bad but it wasn't really good. Only went back for the second time because I didn't think I went there before. Really ruined the night.
