Subway

After a long time I found a Subway where the server prepared sandwiches with a lot of care and cleanliness. I could finally eat a 6” sub (full of veggies and toppings) without spilling or dropping anything on the table.

Once again,i did not enjoy my visit to subway,because it wasnt me. Someone is remote accessing my phone or "mirroring" it and i am becoming quite sceptical to this,rather uncouth notification. Hmmmmm. Just as was suspected!!!

Excellent clean friendly subway. They take MyWay payment and have very fresh ingredients. Easy to access off the main street.

This is the best subway I've ever been to. Not because of the location or the decor, but because the gentleman working there was attentive, and made me a great sandwich.

Staff was friendly and made the best pizza. Yes I said Pizza. The Pizza was delicious and better than dominos or pizza hut could ever dream of being. The two workers were very kind and gave us some cookies on the house! Due to a long wait time. Thank you so much. Appreciate the kind pgesture.

Great! The man working the counter didn’t rush through making our sandwiches and we really appreciated that. Some would have considered him slow, but his attention to detail to not making a sloppy soggy sub was much appreciated. Took our subs on the Mount Whitney Portal hike. Thanks!

My wife and I stopped in to have lunch on our way up into the mountains to our campsite and it was great !! The staff was so much more friendlier than the stores near our home. All of the people there gladly welcome you as soon as you walk in and best of all, they are definitely not afraid to feed you the portions are very generous and well made. My wife and I again stopped in there for lunch on our way home from our fishing trip and I met the owner and explained that I had never until then had a meatball sandwich in my entire life and the one he made for me was my first one. This man made me a killer sandwich with p,enty of meatballs and sauce plus I asked for him to add pickles to it and he also piled on the cheese too. OH MAN, what a great sandwich that was !! I'll definitely get another one when I'm up there again. Take the time to stop in it's very much worth it and there is plenty of parking off the main drag on the side of the shop....enjoy it I did...

Five stars because my sandwich was tasty as should be, the shop didn't smell like some do, usually the ones where the bread sucks. Also the middle eastern man working there was super courteous and friendly. Never expected that from a subway in the middle of nowhere.

Better than all other Subway subs because I go there every time I do a tough hike in the Sierra Nevada. The food and a cold soda taste so good after days in the wilderness.

Friendly staff and attention to the sub made this Subway better than most. This is one of our road trip fallback options, and in this case it worked out well.

What do you expect, it is a SubWay, the food is fresh and it is probably one of the better places to get food fast in town only because your options are limited.

They have excellent sandwiches, with a lot of choice of breads. If you go there with a coupon, you can't beat the deal.

It was a little busy inside with just 2 employees working, but pretty standard fare. A good stop on the way home without having to eat a fast food burger.

Food was fresh, dinning area very clean. One person working was either very tired or shy... had a hard time understanding her questions.

Nice little restaurant haven't had any issues with the food that has been pretty good.

Decent subs, but the staff was less than thrilled that we were using their own app and trying to take advantage of more than one deal that Subway was offering. Sure, it might mean ringing up two transactions, but is that our fault?

But they are doing the best they can and it's become a bit of a game for our family, opening our orders to see what surprises await us. If we are headed South and in a hurry we use the app, and place our order as we pass through Independence. Still, it's sometimes not ready when we arrive-- and we're always surprised when we open the bags. ;-)

Do not order online from this subway. We ordered 2 veggie patty subs online for pickup and both of them were missing veggie patties.

Awful will never go to subway again period. This location is trash.

Subway decides to short staff this location instead of paying for more workers. (They’re hiring, but for a non competitive wage) Incredibly slow, don’t stop if you’re traveling and want to be quick.

One of the employees(male, brown skin) has very bad attitude. The way he talks to us is very condescending and not respectful. Bad customer service.

Awful... had to walk out because the person couldn't understand what sandwich I wanted... also to busy talking to some guy behind the counter who wants wearing a subway uniform... do yourself a favor, stop somewhere else in Lone Pine!!!

Ordered on line, but nothing was prepared. On arrival, He helped the line first, then did our order. So why order 30 minutes ahead on line??? Terrible service

I eat at this subway frequently and I usually always have a great pleasing experience but today was not the case. The lady working makes my food every time in there for the most part. Today she told me it was my choice weather or not I wanted to wear a mask and after telling her I choose not to she threatened to NOT put gloves on because I wouldn’t wear one… mind you masks are no longer mandated in this area AND their whole food station is completely blocked off with plastic protectors. As she made our sandwiches she continued to be rude. Very unprofessional.

For starters, they don't have cheddar cheese, the worker put my sandwich in the toaster without asking, and the workers were really depressing. The second worker was really quiet and barely talked. I got some fountain drink Sprite and apparently Sprite is sparkling water now? I know fountain sodas aren't always the best, but this was just literal sparkling water. They didn't even try. If you're gonna dumb down the Sprite, just water it down, don't change the whole drink. If I'm in the area again, I won't be eating here again, but I suppose that does little to no damage to the reputation. :/
