I’ve only eaten at this location ( same owner , new location ) for about 25 years or so... likely more ,but who’s counting, Never have I been disappointed. Their food is, and has always been delicious. It can get very busy ,and you want food fresh, so waiting a min. Is well worth the payoff . I always stop and get food if I’m even remotely close by. Go, eat, your taste buds will thank you.

The best Mexican food. Period. Been going there since 92/93 when the restaurant was a small little spot up the street from where it sits now in Hawaiian Gardens . Just started dating my wife as youngsters we use to go there sit and eat back then . Now married two kids almost off to college. Place is a tradition for us. Customer service is A1. I have been going to this place since it opened at the old location and even before when they were working out of a truck. It is hands down a much needed place to go for great food. My first experience here was when they had the smaller restaurant and it was the best Mexican food I’ve ever had that was the early 1990s ate there for years loved it bragged about it still brag about it. I’ve moved away from the area. I’m out Riverside, but whenever I do get a chance, I do visit their new restaurant. The food is still good. It has changed a bit and of course prices are up higher, but what isn’t thinking I’m gonna drive down today to get you some Carne Asada burritos.

Grew up in Downey moved to ventura county 7 yrs ago. When I tell you I can not find tacos or flautas like San pedro here in ventura county. They have set the bar too high. When we go visit family this is our 1st stop and our last before we go home. Ya it's that good!!

I love the foods very generous servings. It was my first time and it was still early when we came but it started to get busy before noon time. The prices are surprisingly descent and the service was fast and accommodating. My friends tell a story that they used to live in the area and love to keep coming back there even now that they live in Las Vegas they make sure they stop by in here to order they favorites where they couldn’t find in other Mexican authentic places. Authentic good tasting Mexican food. Average to more pricing. Friendly service. Restaurant was about 2/3rds full. Good for out of the way location. People must really enjoy the cooking! I had a taco(cabeza) that was delicious, and well prepared. Good sized. Tortilla was fresh and delicious. Horchata was so-so. Could have stood to use bigger cups for servings. Home made candies available. Very delicious as well.

Fast food little place with good tasty food. I ordered the milanesa plate and an agua fresca, melón. So good. It looks nice on the outside and more like a fast food place where you order at the counter on the inside, but the food is tasty enough to be more like a sit down service restaurant. I was impressed.

My favorite bean and cheese burrito plus they have a really fresh and spicy green salsa. Their quality is good, and the workers are really friendly. I ask for their white cheese and never regret it. The prices did go up from what is shown here on Google (almost doubled)

Real good but Really STINGY with their salsas. Update 10/3125 Not only have they gotten stingier with the salsa, not they get rude and upset if you dare to ask even for a single micro cup. They now want to charge you more for everything and their quality has deteriorated faster than their salsa portions. This is definitely not the place they used to be. Ownership does care obviously. For now, they are a NO GO.

Me and my friends love coming here on weekends for the Menudo! It's usually pretty busy but the service is great and fast!. Parking is tight, so prepare for the alternative. The ambience is a bit small in inside. Seating is scare but seats open up. I've had the Menudo, flautas, tortas, tacos. The food here is tasty and made fresh!

Used to be the best, now cooks get mad at any simple request. Cashier's are afraid the give you a coffee refill because cooks can get mad. Price is average. Clean place

Food is amazingly good but however I remember when they were small before they moved and expanded and not stingy with the condiments before they gave you pickled carrots with jalapeños! Now they just give you pickled carrots and you have to pay for the jalapeños. If your burrito comes with green or red sauce and you ask for more on side you have to pay before its wasn't like that. I just hope they reconsider the condiments process because everyone may like extra sauce on their burrito, tacos or whatever and shouldn't feel obligated to have pay additional money

I usually love the flautas at this place but today I went with my brother for lunch after work and I was a bit disappointed that the guacamole sauce was a bit more watery than usual. As soon as you pick up the flautas from the plate, lettuce guacamole and cheese come falling off. The one in Anaheim has their sauce just right. Everything stays on. Minor annoyance but still good. Friday afternoon and even with 4 ladies in the front, it still took a bit long to order and we were in front of the line. 🤨

They used to pack them big here but I guess they trying to pinch pennies too. Meat quality is still good. Just wish I can taste more of it than the flour from the tortilla. Upon looking at his receipt they charged him for four (4) meals! They had to void the transaction and start over. Now I'm next to order and I get tacos and one drink. They charged me for two (2) drinks! What is going on? TL;DR good food but check your receipt because they mess up frequently.

Over priced for what it is. Only thing that I enjoyed was the tripa tacos. Everything else, avoid. Staff was friendly though.

The flavor of their flautas is there as long as they actually put more than a tablespoon of meat in it. Couple of times I've even gotten a rolled empty tortilla. All other times its just straight skimped on the meat. They're stingey and always have been long before covid 🤷‍♀️

They say it’s good food but they won’t let you order an Enchilada plate with different meats , it all has to be the same meat or cheese . But it’s ok I see at least Pepe’s serves you what you want after all I’m paying for it .

I liked my thin bread torta, my wife like the taquitos, however they are a bit too pricey they won't give you a real cream with the coffee, they won't put the food on the table, you got to get up and get it. They have no milk. They charge extra for a little more salsa, why that's almost Criminal!

Cashier lady smiled but girls that served us were all frowns and they forgot the avocado that I paid an extra $.50 per slice! They don't want you to enjoy your experience here. I was surprised the bad customer service they offered here in Tacos San Pedro. Never I'll come here again. It's just a waist of time. Next time I'll take my business across the street.

Im very observant and dont say much. This place by far does not like Negritos and were 🇧🇿. Customer svc was terrible. Ordered Chilaquiles only asked to substitute rice for Beans. They said NO. Visiting LA looking for good Mexican food and got the worst I’ve ever had! When you order a vegetarian burrito you expect maybe fajita vegetables and beans right? NO! It felt really weird like full of liquid. Somehow they managed to fill the tortilla with salad dressing and a little lettuce. Not even 1 bean! 🤮 it looked like puke! So I was just going to eat the veggie nachos. Nope, mostly chips, no cheese, again not 1 bean! It’s not just the vegetarian items, my husband’s had pork enchiladas with hardly any meat and no sauce! How do you make enchiladas without sauce?! Only gave a 1 star because no option to give 0 stars.

This is my first time here based on a recommendation, I decided to order the chicken enchiladas, when I was placing my order I asked the cashier if I can get the lettuce and sour cream on the side, she told me No. I asked her why? She stated it was the policy and they do not do it. I explained to her I don't like the topping on top since it is a to go order and the heat from the food makes the sour cream and lettuce taste nasty, Mari said the toppings can be put on the side only for the flautas and burritos, I told her I would pay for an additional box of needed, the answer was still NO. I asked to speak with the manager, she stated she was the manager and her name is Mari the daughter of the OWNER very rudely and it couldn't be done. My first time here and I couldn't get the toppings on the side and was treated horribly!!! I looked around the store and on the website too see if it has a policy stating they could not put the toppings on the side, they don't . I cancelled my ordered and left. I won't be coming back.
