House margaritas nice and strong!!!Daily premade mix with nice even flavors . Rex provided prompt delivery of my drinks and entrees for happy hour. The tacos were delicious! I got the carne asada .The 2 tacos had a whole avocado slices on top with amazing seasoned meat.

The food here was fantastic! I got the shrimp burrito grande with black beans. The shrimp was cooked perfectly and everything tasted great. Even the chips and salsa that is brought out before the meal was so good. The salsa was some of the best salsa I've ever had. Service was good, and our waiter was attentive and nice. I also loved the atmosphere. The decorations throughout were great.

Came for dinner on a sunday and greeted by amicable staff. Busy but no wait for table of 3. Overall good ambiance, ocean view with deck/patio seating. Food was good, fajitas chicken was moist and condiments were great. Parked in th museum garage and walked the board walk area down.

Went here for happy hour and it was such good value! Each app we got only cost $6 and we got chips and salsa for free, plus the server offered us refills twice. On Tuesdays it's even better with $1.50 soft tacos! A must try!

Absolutely Outstanding Experience - Twice In One Trip During a recent trip to Long Beach, CA, I visited Tequila Jack's Restaurant & Cantina not once, but twice—and both visits were absolutely fantastic! From the start, the service was outstanding—attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. The staff made us feel right at home and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. On both visits, we started with the chips and queso, and they were perfect—crispy, warm tortilla chips paired with a rich, creamy queso that had just the right amount of kick. A great way to begin the meal! We couldn’t resist ordering the fajitas again on our second visit—they were that good. Sizzling hot, perfectly seasoned, and served with fresh tortillas and all the classic fixings. Each bite was packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. The menu offers a wide spectrum of bold, flavorful Mexican dishes, and everything we tried was delicious. Combine that with the lively waterfront setting, and you have the perfect dining spot. Tequila Jack’s checks every box: incredible food, flawless service, and a fun, inviting atmosphere. It’s officially one of my go-to spots in Long Beach. Highly recommend—you won’t be disappointed!

I highly recommend this Mexican restaurant when visiting Long Beach. We paid this restaurant a visit prior to embarking on a Mexican Riviera cruise and the place and food was amazing. It's a must try if you are in the area.

Nice Mexican restaurant at the harbour. We loved the salsa with the tortilla chips. The plates were quite big to get full, and the food was really good. The only minor point was, that it was pretty loud.

Order the chicken enchiladas and taco. Iwas not i pressed. Looked good but not good. The service e was great and the atmosphere was nice. Went there solo. Sat at the bar and had a martini. I'll go back. I just try something different. I like tequila Jacks!!

Pretty good Mexican spot right along the pier. The ambiance was great along with the staff. They had ample veggie options so there is something for everyone to enjoy. Our waiter was extremely caring and brought us their spicy salsa on top of the normal one the give to have with the chips while we waited for the food. I enjoyed my cheese enchiladas and thought it had good flavor and kept me full!

We were in town for a cruise porting out of Port of Los Angeles and some of our party stayed at the Hyatt Long Beach. This restaurant is directly across from the hotel. It was very busy! Tables were full inside and out but we got seated right away which was nice. If you sit out on the back patio you'll have a nice view of the water. We sat indoors near the front of the restaurant. When we were first seated, they sat our large party at a smaller table and the manager had noticed and come over and asked us if we wanted to add another table which was very nice and considerate. Service was friendly and fast. Food ran us about $17-$20 pp. Everyone in our party (there was 9 of us) enjoyed our dishes. Good size portions and temperature of the food was nice and hot. I personally ordered the Beach House Platter and it was HUGE! Enough for min 2 people, maybe even 3 people! One of my friends ordered a margarita and it was STRONG so if that's your thing, order one! It's not the BEST Mexican food you'll ever eat IMO but it was good and we would return if we were in the area and wanted Mexican food.

The rice was bland, no flavor, not even salt, the refried beans were bland as well. The carne asada was cooked well but lack in flavor. Have some margaritas and enjoy the views, not the food.
