Fun Noodle Bar

Really good Sushi, Ramen bowls were great, and the fried calamari was excellent. Wait staff was good and the atmosphere is pretty cool. They let the kids have just Ramen noodles with broth and they loved it. Wife and kids said the deep fried Oreos with Ice cream were great.

We have been to the Fun Noodle Bar a few times since they opened, mostly during hours when they were not super slammed. Each time in the past, it's been amazing, 10 star service and everything. However, the other night, we did have a hiccup with service. Please mind that this is the first time since visiting this place that we EVER had issues with service and it certainly won't stop us from visiting again, it's just likely we will visit at non peak hours. We got SO many dishes (sadly, didn't get the free spring rolls(?) this go around). My favorite go-to for apps is the soup dumplings. Highly recommend those along with anything soup based. Though I am biased and truly love anything soup based 😋.

Here's my review of Fun Noodle Bar in Longview, TX. It was my first time there when I visited on Monday, January 23, 2024. I plan to go there again to try their other dishes. It rained heavily that day, so I was in the mood for Wonton Soup. I also ordered Steamed Bao Buns (beef) and the Lunch Bento Box with Chicken Teriyaki. Once I placed my order, they brought everything in a timely manner. They do not have fountain drinks. They will bring you a glass of ice along with the bottle or soda can drink you requested. The dish that I enjoyed the most was their Wonton Soup. They were generous with their portions of wontons in the soup. I enjoyed the tasty flavors of the soup. I spoke to the couple at the table next to me and one of them was enjoying the Black Garlic Ramen. I may try that next time. It dawned on me later that the delicious Wonton Soup is not on their menu. I checked their menu photos on Facebook and did not see it. They offered Hot and Sour Soup, Egg Drop, and Miso Soup. I was impressed that they made it for me despite it not being on the menu. Extra points for that! The Bao Buns were good, as was the Lunch Bento Box. I wish they had more teriyaki sauce on the chicken. Altogether, I had a good dining experience. The staff was friendly. They have traditional Chinese dishes that I would like to try next time (Coconut Shrimp, Mongolian Beef), and I would like to try their sushi rolls. I will definitely be back. Due to it being a new restaurant the line was long, however the food came out very quickly. I got the beef and broccoli bento, my friend got the sesame chicken bento. It came with the main dish, dumplings, fried shrimp, sushi, and a salad. The food was delicious! We got a side of steamed dumplings which were good as well. The staff was friendly and attentive despite being extremely overwhelmed. The atmosphere is great! There's a huge window where you can watch the cooks. I absolutely will be back when the crowd calms down. It would be a great place for lunch or a date.

10/10 fantastic experience, for many reasons 1. I have tried miso soup many times, and each time, ive disliked it. That changed today. The tofu (which i also normally dont like) was so soft, and rich. The flavor perfect. 2. The service was incredibly quick, smooth, and helpful. Our waitress was extremely sweet, and very helpful when recommending things. Our waitress made sure we were constantly filled up on water, and she got us our check shortly after we asked for it. 3. The food was fantastic, the price was so worth. (12-15$ a meal). For my meal i think, i got a lunch bento. The sesame chicken was rich in flavor, and the glaze was so incredible . The dumplings,, super yummy. the Crab Rangoons were an absolute great start to the meal and the strawberry mochi icecream was the perfect finish. My partner ordered the black garlic ramen, and he and i both loved the broth and the way it tasted like heaven lol. He said it was probably the best hes had (his favorite thing being the thick noodles, and how they were the perfect texture) 4. Lastly, the atmosphere is so incredibly welcoming and warm. Its definitely a cute intimate spot. Very homey

Restaurant is really nice and clean. The food was delicious, the only thing I did not like was the fried rice, but everything else was really good. Hubby and I also tried the ice cream and I have to say it’s a must!

Fried rice was amazing! Ordered way too much food, got our rolls to go, and forgot them. Sad days! We will return. Our waitress Brook was very tentative, sweet, and great!

So so good! First time trying authentic Asian Baos and soup dumplings. They were so good! And the mochi and egg custard Baos were such a good way to finish!

Me and the girls came to eat here on a week night. The service was great the restaurant was clean. The food came out quickly and everything was good. The pig dumplings were so cute 😍

We’ve eaten here a few times and have always enjoyed our meals. The dumplings are delicious but the ramen and beef soup are even better! Service is great, and the open kitchen allows you to see how they make their homemade noodles! So fun!

We absolutely love this place! Everything is so fresh and yummy and you can watch them cook your food which is so fun and cool! We had soup dumplings, sparerib ramen, green onion pancake, and a California roll. They also threw in some of the best fried spring rolls I've ever had for FREE!

What an awesome restaurant! All their noodle dishes and dumplings are handmade and fresh. We could see them rolling out the dough and spinning it for noodles. The service was warm, inviting, and knowledgeable about the extensive menu. The restaurant itself has a cool modern vibe. Everything we tried was hands down some of the best food we have had; from the pot stickers, soup dumplings, pad Thai, and sushi. The attention to detail and presentation of the dishes was next level! #GoogleGal

It really was Fun Noodles! We tried Crunch Roll, Pork Potstickers, Pork Steam Dumplings, Fried Green Beans, Fried Rangoon, and got a free Spring Roll for over $25! All were very tasty! We will definitely be back to try something new!

Spicy tuna roll was excellent, really well made and flavorful. The General Tso chicken and all it's sides were perfect. Seasoned perfectly, not too spicy and not sweet. Perfect portions. Service was great. Friendly. Quick. On the spot, but not hovering. Left very happy and satisfied.

The soup came out and the hot and sour soup was good, The meso soup was not good, I don’t recommend & the tofu wasn’t good. The sushi was fantastic. Overall the food was a 8/10

Extensive menu of selections and more than enough to satisfy any particular options you’re looking for. Will come back to try more things. I find the spicy dishes to be at the right level of balance. Could use more portion on the ramen soup. Appetizers were right between portions and price. Delicious but I gave 4 instead of 5 stars because of that portion to price and taste. Maybe when I return again I’ll change my mind. Easy and clean tables but floor is a bit dirty. Neat to see into the kitchen with the right amount of decoration.

The food was just ok compared to other similar local restaurants. The service was very good. My wife really liked the atmosphere. If you spend more than $25, they serve you complimentary steamed pork buns. A nice touch.

This place has decent sushi and decent ramen! The highlight of the meal, for us, was the order of dumplings we got as appetizers and the free spring rolls we were given!! They were delicious and not something I have found anywhere else.

I ordered ramen to dough and a side of fried rice. The location is only a few miles from my house. When I got home the broth and noodles were separated which was nice but the noodles and garnishes in there very cold causing the broth to be be barely warm when added to the noodles and did not meet my expectations. The side of fried rice that I ordered was just plain rice. I tipped using the website when I ordered. I should have checked all the food before I left. However, I do believe it is the responsibility for the servers to double check the bags before they hand it out. Overall the food was not bad but I did not enjoy the fact that it was just so cold, it made the ramen less appetizing

I ordered ramen to dough and a side of fried rice. The location is only a few miles from my house. When I got home the broth and noodles were separated which was nice but the noodles and garnishes in there very cold causing the broth to be be barely warm when added to the noodles and did not meet my expectations. Crab meat in sushi was imitation. Crab Ragoons were good. Water tasted like it came out of Lake-O-Pines... I'd love to give it a better score on the food as everything else was absolutely great... but sadly auntie would slap me from beyond the grave if I gave it a higher score with that rice.
