Big Jim's Donuts

A true gem in a neighborhood being overrun with awful hip coffee shops that overcharge and underdeliver. The Vietnamese coffee hits unlike anything else, it's like those old depression commercials where on days when I wake up feeling grey and tired, the first sip all of a sudden lets me see in color! The breakfast sandwiches always hit the spot, and the donuts are solid. The employees are so kind and friendly <3 Long live Big Jim's!!!!!

Big Jim's Donuts are the BEST!!! It was my first time visiting today, but my coworker always brings Big Jim's Donuts' croissant sandwiches and donuts for a while; now I totally get the hype! I’m honestly blown away by everything....from their simple smooth espresso to the incredibly fresh food. Big Jim’s has parking and it’s seriously a way better bang for your buck compared to Maison Matho on Melrose Ave (even though I can walk there from work). While Maison Matho has the French "aesthetic", I end up spending way too much money there for just a "unique" coffee and a small pastry. Meanwhile, Big Jim’s Donuts delivers QUALITY... their croissants are fresh and to die for, their croissant sandwiches are delicious, and their espresso (including Vietnamese Coffee) is just what I need! Plus, they got variety: fresh juices, smoothies, sandwiches, donuts… what more could anyone ask for? GO TO BIG JIM’S DONUTS!!! 🙌🍩☕

I never leave reviews but I just ate the most amazing breakfast sandwich I had to tell everyone this shop amazing delicious donuts and amazing ham bacon bagel breakfast sandwich. I can't wait to come back and treat myself . Thanks for great service and an amazing breakfast! ☺️

best classic donuts I've had in LA. other shops either run out of or just don't make some of the "fancy" donuts like apple fritters, cronuts, maple bacon, or raspberry filled, nor do they make 'em as well. this place has everything, made fresh, and really good quality. the location is a bit sketch, with some element of the hood usually kickin around the corner strip. but in a way, it's part of its charm: a neutral zone where all types can converge to get some high-quality fried dough.

The donuts and sandwiches were absolutely delicious 😋 I recently went here as a quick stop to get a sandwich and it was so good! I brought my family back yesterday, and it was still one of the best donut places I've been to.

The staff is very friendly the donuts taste amazing The tea is nice There is a card fee of $.85 if you make a purchase less than $10 Literally best chocolate donuts that I’ve ever had in my life And the other donuts look so cute 🌸🎀🫧

Great place, nice folks. The worst that could be said of the service is that it doesn't adhere to ideals of needing to be a simpering servant to the customer- I've always seen the service as polite and straightforward. The coffee is strong and delicious, donuts are fresh and sweet, service is quick and polite.

Some of the counter people are very pleasant however sometimes the person helping me haa treated me as a inconvenience I buy a dozen donuts at a time one of the clerks always charges me extra for every donut and says it's not included in the price for a dozen the donuts however are excellent parking easy easy wheelchair access

very rude service i walked right out. they are a hole in the wall charging $8 for a breakfast sandwich & almost $6 for a iced coffee which is crazy when i can just walk over to dunkin & get all that with the $8 meal deal for better quality.

I went in to get a milk tea and croissant, they had the craziest and nastiest attitude. I asked a simple question about the croissant and they were rude about it. They messed up my drink, I asked for no boba and they gave me boba. The food was actually good but the attitude, not very great.

The food is ok..but the service is horrible the two Asian ladies working there had an aditude from the start. I asked for ice coffee with whipped cream and the lady said $1 extra wich I said fine I want it ,she gives me my drink with no whp on it and got mad when I said something about it,started yelling at me ,that's the short Asian lady with glasses she is so horrible,very racist,even started yelling at another customer that was eating there just because she was agreeing with me .told her to stop speaking in Spanish, when she was speaking in her own language with the other rude lady. The worst service ever I don't recommend this place , donuts are good, food ok but very bad service,to a point that people outside the business heard her yelling and said the same thing that there service is so bad and are very rude...don't know how ther open with that service that they provide to the customers they really need to change employees.ASAP!!

Dishonest & Rude with no customers services at all. I PAID for 3 items then I went to Macdonald nearby to eat the 3 items with Macdonald's coffee. I found d out there are only 2 items in my bag then I called them to let them know, the answer immediately you ate it. I went back in person & asked them to check their security camera if i got or you missed to put it in my bag but they still argue for $1.70 then finally they gave me the third item. They immediately say sorry no argue
