This place was great for a few drinks. We had some food too that was so yummy. Would definitely go here again! Loved that it was in walking distance from home too.
A great place to go for kareoke, by yourself or with a group. They have food, I like their tomato soup and grilled cheese meal. My favorite thing about them is their draft beer selection. L
beer selection was good and staff person was good.
Great time! I enjoyed the atmosphere and Vibe. Great location and parking was easy. The karaoke 🎤 sing was awesome! Definitely will return soon!
If you love karokee this is the place. Karokee everyday. The best thing about this bar was the service. My bartender/ server/ rockstar made my experience here memorable. She knew about everything. The drinks, the food, the best songs to sing, the traffic, thank you endlessly Myla you are their biggest asset.
Great service and food! Karaoke was super fun!
Fun place to celebrate an event by people watching, or singing Karaoke! Wide variety of food and alcohol in a lively environment! Valet parking cost is whatever you want to pay them, which is cheaper than the parking meters near. Friendly staff; bathrooms on premises. Wheelchair accesible.
Great ambiance, it's not a private room type karaoke bar but one large stage for everyone to perform on. Staff is friendly, I didn't order any food so can't speak to that, ambiance was fun, lively and inviting.
I love coming here on Fridays and Saturdays because I like to sing ballads because the love songs I sing is because I am living with autism. The people are very very great. I do enjoy being hugged by females after I sing ballads because I am at my best when I sing power ballads I enjoy comingh here on Fridays and Saturdays I enjoy singing epic songs and 70s and 80s music
I will be back!! 😃 Thank you for making my birthday awesome!! This place saved the day when I had to swiwtch my venue last minute. They allow birthday cakes to be brought in & they'll sing Happy Bday & have the whole bar join in! The staff here is incredible! They made it a fun special night with great drinks, food & stage! The song selection & sound equipment are excellent too! But be warned! This place has got talent!!! I've never seen so many talented singers in a karaoke bar (but it is LA, so...)! It wasn't extremely busy (on a Thursday) so my group was able to sing 4-5 times throughout the night & the crowd had an amazing supportive energy so even if you're like me & totally suck at Karaoke lol they make you feel amazing! 😃 I can't wait to go again!
Always such a blast singing my heart out here. The food is delicious. The beer options are great. Not a great place for non alcoholic beer or mocktails. Prices are fair for the area but plan to spend $9 for a beer.
Draft beer selection is on FIRE! It's well rounded in variety, brewery and ABV. Bartender and service are top notch. Friendly service that gives you that "Cheers" feeling. Food is fresh and tasty, great prices.
My prime location for karaoke any day of the week. Bring yo squad and plenty of space on your phone to record your friends 'Out of their element'.
I'm not just the weekend karaoke host. I'm also a customer. The new Breaker 22 kitchen menu is absolutely tops, and before we all begin scrambling to get a chance at the mic each night at 8pm the dining atmosphere is very chill and relaxing. Now open for breakfast on Saturdays and Sundays at 10am!
The BEST place to have fun, sing specifically, the stage make you to forget about everything but the song haha ! But if you not the best singer ,definitely record yourself , so you could laugh after ! Blood from my ears came after watching myself singing …
Had a great time here! The food was good, the beer selection was awesome and the karaoke was top notch! Well definitely be back when we are in town next.
The best sound system, song choice and nicest staff in any karaoke bar. My favorite place to sing and goof off after long weeks of hard work. [ APPENDED ] Boardwalk 11 was recently featured in Gordon Ramsay's "24 Hours of Hell". I hope people will understand that the caricature of this establishment in that show was purely for entertainment, and NOT the real place. This gastropub is STILL amazing and so are the people there.
One of my favorite places to go in Culver City! Dan, Steve, and Cat are awesome and the food is amazing! They have karaeoke every night and a great happy hour. Cool place to watch a game or two as well
Great place to go sing karaoke and have a great time! Love the sound system, the lights and setup. The staff is very friendly.. Highly recommend!!
One of my favorite Karaoke Bars in West LA, for sure. Unfortunately, do to Covid-19 there won't be Karaoke for a while. However, they do have outdoor seating available right now. I still enjoying going there because their entire staff is so friendly, prices are right, and the their food is so good! I have been going there for over 5 years and I honestly have nothing to complain about. If you're going to check out BW 11 (the local nickname) for the first time, keep in mind that you may need some patience to find parking if you're not going to take a Lyft or Uber. They are in a little corner plaza so the parking can be very limited from time to time. Lately because of the pandemic, it's been very easy to find parking. Side note: When they do open back up to full capacity, you'll want to get there early to put you name on the list to sing, that place gets packed! Lol
Boardwalk 11: My husband and I were looking for a venue that offers fun, food and a good space to entertain our friends and family for an evening to celebrate his retirement and my birthday. As usual, we went online, did a search for those types of TAGS and came across Boardwalk 11. We looked at most of the 500+ reviews already posted, including the negative ones. Some of those are really serious: Cold old food, roaches, bad service, etc. Most people may have been persuaded to not even consider this place, but we thought: Can it really be THAT BAD? The answer is NO! – We went the same day we did our research, parked in the parking lot (which is free valet [translation: If you eat or drink, incl. non-alcoholic drinks you only need to consider tipping the valet]), went inside and we started to look around. The place was almost empty, but it was just a little after 6:30 PM on a Tuesday. There was a clear friendliness between patrons, bartender, server and newcomers like us. We sat down near the bar, got a menu and were surprised about the prices as those are pretty competitive to other places. Even though we felt “adventurous”, both of us ended up with the same dish: BBQ Chicken Tostada Salad. The shell was crispy, the salad fresh and the chicken tender. – It was good. Still, having some of those negative reviews in mind, I kept looking for anything that would gross me out. I didn’t see anything. No Roaches, no bugs of any kind. In fact, the entire place was clean, inviting, and fun. Our server also managed to bring the owner over to us. Which was nice, as I kept thinking about the negative review he got and I expected to meet a grumpy, old, unkempt, mean, horrid person. He is not. Steve introduced himself and started chatting with us about the venue. He is open minded, courteous, and funny. Even though things may change in the future, but for right now, and based on our first impression, we are looking forward to our little celebration at Boardwalk 11.
Been coming here for 15 years. It's funny how people who have just watched the ramsey show take it upon themselves to voice their opinion even though they haven't been here. Anyways, great atmosphere great happy hour and Stormy rocks! Recommend 100% trust me I'm a professional bar fly 🪰 😎
The night crowd on the day I went was awesome! Very chill vibes. Affordable night out. Everyone was here for a good time and a good song. So Sing your heart out even if you can't sing. Grab a beer and have fun. If youre looking for a place for a first date this place is good. I also want to give my server Michelle a hugeeee thank you! She is super dope, I forsure will be coming back often.
Well let's start this review off, positively. The bar is doing just fine. The food is amazing. Guys are you serious? Reality T.V shows like hell and back are all staged, I was there when they were filming, it's all staged. Have you guys forgot that? Gordan does this to make money, he doesn't care about the owners, he works with thousands with them, thats too much to care about for him. The food is made there on the spot. Their burgers are the best I've ever tasted, better than In and Out, and that's a really bold statement that I wouldn't be making if I didn't believe in it. I don't work for them, I wasn't paid by them, hell I could care less if they did all the bad things that Gordan's team staged, but they don't do the things, so it pisses me off to the bone to see random people who never stepped foot in the bar to give it a 1 star review and say all these rude and hateful things. Remember how we were taught to never judge a book by it's cover huh? Well, you're doing it here, knock it off guys
1) It has valet parking 2) spacious and a set up that makes sense Regarding tables, booths and the karaoke stage. 3) countless song selection! 4) atmosphere was great. Maybe it was a lucky night but the crowd was awesome! I had a great time. Looking forward to going back.
This is the very best karaoke establishment: Employees are positive, upbeat & energetic, and they actually remember you after being there ONE TIME only. Food is delicious, fresh, hot & reasonably priced. Huge selection of karaoke tunes. Sound system sounds rich and full, and the weekday kJ KNOWS HOW TO MIX so you sound great. I think ALL of this contributes to the most important part of the experience overall: EVERY time we’ve gone, the audiences are validating, supportive, and always enthusiastically encouraging of singers, which makes this place THEE very best K establishment. FIVE + STARS
Very, very cool place. We had a very dear co-worker's retirement party there, and from the moment I valet parked (tip when you leave) to the time we left it was 5-stars. D.J Karaoke Guy was PHENOMENAL and food super yummy. Will absolutely go back.
We went on a Wednesday. Our waitress was excellent. The karaoke was really good. When they say on their website they want good, bad singers. They seemed to have quite a few bad. But later in the evening it was more enjoyable as more better singers arrived. Prices for food were pretty good. Drinks a bit high for my liking, but for LA reasonable. The KJ started catering to his regulars. Our waitress noticed it and while she had no control over what the KJ does. Got the issued resolved quickly. Other than a small incident this was the one the best Karaoke experiences I've had in LA. With good food reasonable prices and great Karaoke. I didn't understand why this place wasn't packed. On the top ten list for best Karaoke. It should have been much higher on the list.
Great local spot! Super chill atmosphere. All the people working there have been great every time we have been. Love the huge beer selection. Great mix of people and not a bunch of people worried about what "scene" it is. Great place to relax and have fun.
Let’s be clear. This place is about the karaoke. The KJs are fantastic, the setup is unparalleled, the crowd is always fun and engaged. The tap is extensive, varied, and always includes something I’ll love. The food is adequate. If you are hungry you can eat and it will be fine. The service has always been great for me. Occasionally a specific beer will stay on a bit too long and get a little skunked. But there have also been some amazing hard-to-find beers as well.
I love this place. One of my favorite karaoke bars/local haunts in LA. Great beer selection. The food is solid, offering slightly elevated bar food. The KJs are great. It's a perfect spot for a night out with friends, whether you're singing or not (but I strongly encourage you to sing).
Very crowded on the weekends, but I can hardly fault them for that. Good beer selection and, although it's a little silly to say about a pile of fried fast food style bites, the popcorn chicken is best in class; perfect crunch and good flavor, always hits the spot.
I brought 20+ friends here to do karaoke on a Friday night and it was absolutely perfect. The manager Steven set aside tables for us and we had our own server all night. The DJ was easy and fun to work with. Food and drinks were terrific. I plan to make it an annual event!
This place is amazing. The sound quality of the karaoke is the best I've heard in a long time. Also, their social poker events are free, risk no money, and are fun as hell. They have a typical bar except that they have a huge selection of craft beers.
I had an amazing time here. I couldn't believe how good some of these karaoke people are. The dance floor was bangin.
Really good experience got better since he last time I went!!
This is the best open stage karaoke bar in LA. It has a stunning selection of craft beer and full bar. Amazing vibes and atmosphere, with everyone singing along or dancing in front of the stage. If you come on Friday or Sat, get here early so you can get a chance to sing because the queue will fill up fast. 🤘🤘
Preamble: I haven't tried their food (unless you consider beer & tequila to be food). The rating system doesn't allow an option to communicate that. Don't listen to the haters. Boardwalk 11 is a great place to enjoy wasting your time. The regulars are good people. Karaoke is the name of the game. Just have fun and forget about your troubles and ailments while making a fool of yourself (or not) on stage. Water is easily accessible, encouraging healthy choices. Stick to yourself or be a social butterfly. It's up to you. They have an outdoor section where you can greet incoming patrons and still hear the karaoke without it polluting your conversation. All kinds of people patronize this establishment, so I can't say that every single person who has walked through their doors is a saint, but as a whole it is a really chill place with friendly staff and regulars. Singers of all levels come and go, so there's always a variety of enjoyment if karaoke is your thing. Also, if your friends/family like to drink and/or sing, you can't go wrong with hosting a party at Boardwalk 11. Their staff are worth tipping, as well. I've been a semi-regular (some would currently call me a regular) for what feels like the better portion of two decades, and I always see/meet new people here. It's not just a clique hang-out, though if you have a clique, it's a great place to hangout. If you don't, just say hi to someone. I've never been disrespected here. I'm not saying it can't happen but anecdotally I haven't had any problems with that sort of thing. I recommend Boardwalk 11.
I always use to go here when I was living in Palms. Almost every other day. The food is always great, and the beer is too! The staff and owner are always great. They learn your name and actually enjoy being good to the customers. Idk why people are making up nonsense about this place just because they watched a Gordon Ramsey show. If you read the negative reviews you’ll notice there’s no actual critique of the food or bar. I hope to eat here again soon because I’ve moved to a different state and I miss it!
This place is totally awesome. Drinks were made nicely. I was here for my bday. I didn't have to pay anything extra for my party of 15 people , they set aside a long dining table, kept my cake in refrigeration until I blew out the candles. The waitress Maria was especially attentive and catered to us swiftly and prompt. I believe Boardwalk 11 has every song you could ever think of and their system for sound was BoomBastic! I will definitely return to this Gem.
I went on a Thursday after work during happy hour and I looked it a lot. The bar is clean and stocked with craft beers and a decent liquor selection. The staff and regulars were friendly. We had some wounds which hit the spot, we were only sad that they ran out of pretzels when we went. Unfortunately I couldn't stay for Karaoke on this day but I have been in the past before it got remodeled about 2 years ago and it was super fun.
Karaoke starts off slow but by 10, folks are nice and lubed up to have some fun. There's also poker and a nice bar with multiple tvs so, there's something for everyone. Don't expect everyone to be focused on just Karaoke.
From my first visit I got good drinks, some tasty food, a vast range of songs to choose from, and friendly staff. Strangely, I was not asked for my ID at any point (neither entering the bar, nor when ordering drinks).
Huge great beer selection. Clean very open feeling layout. Mixed friendly Crowd. Bartenders friendly and helpful. Karaoke all the time... So that's up to you to make good!
Good fun place to hang with friends. Selection of karaoke songs was pretty awesome. Didn't have any food though cause we ate before we got there. Good atmosphere but limited parking.
Boardwalk 11 GASTROPUB and Karaoke ever been a very loyal place for 20+ years of special events and intimate dining with my family they have places that you would never see in any other restaurant where every dining experience is different from the last especially their wine room which is only one table but you cannot be any more intimate than that special spot the bar and the bartenders and the staff are the best and I travel a lot... Looking for some Prime rib, New York steak ,and our favorite Molly salad prawn cocktail and fish and chips...This place nestled in the foothills aren't going away ,first bite you'll know what I mean ,thank you for listening
Great atmosphere: dark, but definitely not a dive. Karaoke on Thursday may have a long wait, but the crowd is really good. Parking is limited, but there's an overpass around the corner that has plenty of on-street space after hours.
Enrico is an excellent host! Great karaoke night, always a wild ride and so fun to participate in.. Only problem is that it's too popular and wait time can be long! If you get there between 8-8:30pm you can get two songs in before 11pm
A surprisingly varied beer list—with a ton of great choices. Full bar too! The food is better than you’d expect—great burgers and fries. Love their Buffalo wings too. I haven’t been since covid so I don’t know if they’re currently doing karaoke but when they do have it, it’s so much fun. If you come early—karaoke starts at 8pm—you get to sing a bunch but on a Friday or Saturday night at prime time to close, the list gets pretty long as it is packed. The staff is friendly and the bartenders know their stuff but I’ve had a couple random waiters who weren’t well trained and that were a bit absent minded.
The atmosphere was ridiculously fun but I guess that depends on the crowd. The dj was energetic and kept the crowd fires up. Great music selection. Would have been 5 stars but my drink was never refilled and the waitress didn't even ask me for my order to begin with.
Most of the VJs are pretty good... the one last night kept putting other people in front of us... overall the staff is friendly, and the crowd is pretty good. There are some pretty good singers here. But, people please choose appropriate songs...You have you choose songs that the crowd will enjoy. Just because you like singing show tunes from The Little Mermaid in your shower does not mean it's a good karaoke song...
Earlier review (8 months ago): A great bar, stellar beer list, and friendly staff! Update: I'm not sure what happened, but service was horrible my last two visits - slow and inattentive. Today, I gave up and went to Irish Times around the corner. Too bad, because I like the bar and the owner, Steve. Update Update: The last few visits have been nice. The food is great, the service good, and the atmosphere eclectic. Nice to have my local bar back.
Fun karaoke spot in "downtown" Palms! Decent draft beer selection (the spicy watermelon-jalepeno cider was also c interesting). They also serve (pretty tasty) food! Def get the burger as that was better than the chicken. Karaoke-wise, we went on a Friday night so it was a bit busy, and ended up having to wait over an hour to do our songs. My group of 4 were each only able to do one song before they stopped taking requests.
Nice cozy karaoke spot to hang out with friends and meet new friends. It was my first time going. Went to celebrate a birthday on a Saturday night. I highly recommend arriving early to find decent parking on the street. The parking lot only holds about a dozen cars where it's shared between the other restaurants and stores in the same shopping strip. Prepare to walk a block or 2 because there are several restaurants and bars on the block and none of them offer parking, so everyone is looking for street parking as well as the residents that live in the area. Parking was free thankfully since it was after 7pm so that was a plus. If you are hungry, I suggest eating before or catching a late night spot after. Bar food is typically great especially when drinking, but that was the only 2 downfalls about this place. Food was less than mediocre with ridiculous pricing. Don't get excited by looking at the online menu before arriving, because that menu is old and they do not have half of the things you see. Idk if they were having an off night but the food was not worth the price. How do you mess up wings and salad? It's possible! The drinks were also inconsistent and overpriced. I ordered their specialty margarita that was supposed to be purple but it was red instead and tasted like old cough syrup and not the good kind. The server said the bartender is not that good, but I would have appreciated the honesty before wasting good money on horrible drinks. I'd advised against their "specialties" or anything too complex and just order standard simple mixed drinks with 2 ingredients or just take shots. Outside of the food and drinks, people were quite friendly and it was an overall great hang out place. It got really crowded so it's a popular place.I'd go again since now I know better. Have fun and sing your heart out!
Good food, awful service. Waited 15 minutes for drink at the bar. Seems if you are not a regular, you are ignored. We were a goup of 4. Gave 2 of us wrong burgers at table service, but begrudgingly corrected their error. Two of my friends went back last week and had problems with the same waitress who claims to have been there for 2 years.
The food was good a bit pricey but good 👌. I ordered chicken wings, a side of fries and a Sprite. My bill was $20! I didn't even get a drink yet lol. I was hoping that all the menu items wasn't itemized but it's not a big deal. The staff is awesome. When it comes to the Karaoke part it was cool. The DJ needed to play a better mix of songs in between the participants. Other than that I had fun. Nice crowd of people. Whether you sang the house down or sucked you were welcomed.
Great for big groups, decent staff, no cover charge, reasonably priced food and drinks. Came for Karaoke was a very fun night but long wait to get on the song list. Recommend the French fries but that’s it. Ordered the wings, it was obviously microwaved but poorly done, as they were hot on the outside and frozen once we bit into it. Overall: 3 for food 5 for drinks 4 for Karaoke
I went here to enjoy a karaoke night with a new friend and got a table near the karaoke host and close to the stage. The place itself was nice enough. Lots of comfortable seating. Good sound system. Nice branded stage with good lighting. They had a charging station but I ended up grabbing an outlet closer to my table to charge my phone. It was St. Patrick's Day so my friend and I both ordered green beers which were featured on the menu. Basically they were green versions of Miller Light which worked for us. We both put songs in with the karaoke host immediately upon arrival and settled in at our table to look through the karaoke book with our green beers. It was posted that we could only put one song in at a time so that's what we did. I was told the wait to sing was about an hour and a half. Not being terribly long we patiently waited our turns while being entertained by the other performers. Two and a half hours and four beers later my friend and I had still not been invited up to sing yet and I would soon have to head home to get some sleep for work the next day so I asked the karaoke host again if he could work us into the lineup soon. He said we were 7 songs away. That would be another half an hour! 3 hours wait to sing one song??!! Which would have been twice his original estimate of one and a half hours. That was ridiculous and not ok. Now mind you I watched certain performers get up there 2 or three times throughout the night while we waited to sing once. I am certain that the karaoke hosts math was not off when he gave the earlier time estimate but seemed to not value our time or have any integrity whatsoever and just put others before us time after time after time to add another 1.5 hours of singers between our first songs. In the end I paid the bill and left after waiting 2.5 hours. Very dissatisfied.
Good food and drinks but not welcome to newcomers singing. We waited two hours and our song request never came on. Yet a few 'regulars' went up to sing multiple times. Will definitely not go to this bar again.
I took my friend Amanda because she was heartbroken after ending a 3 year relationship and I wanted her to let off some steam by singing and having a good time. The vibe was pretty chill and they had a solid selection of songs, which made it easy for her to pick whatever she felt like singing. The place offers a good variety of drinks and cocktails, but honestly, the service could use some work the waitstaff seemed a bit distracted and took their time getting to us. Also, the sound in the room we were in wasn’t perfectly balanced. Overall, it’s a decent spot to hang out and sing with friends but they could definitely improve a few things to make the experience smoother.
Why in the aorld would you not keep Lat as tour head chef and hire back someone that clearly doesnt know what he is doing. The owner has no ambition nor doesnt want to even run it. Waste of time clearly Steve needs to sale the place and let someone else own it and run it that has the heart and dowsnt hire back lazy people
The was a good beer selection for my husband, but I don’t drink and I never got picked to sing. Pretty fun crowd inside. I didn’t like the food choices and my pastrami sandwich wasn’t good for the price. Too Expensive for me.
I used to come here A LOT and back then I would give it five stars. Something has changed recently Focus should be on the customer experience and the service should be welcoming, friendly and fun. just my two cent. Weird service on the past few visits.
I'm so sad.. I love to support local small dive bars, and this spot is super awesome. But tonight,.First of all, the prices are a little steep for what kind of bar this is. It's a dumpy bar in a strip mall in the middle of Palms - everything should be cheap, but it's not. I haven't been there lately, but they used to have a two drink minimum on weekend nights. If you're not careful with what you order, those two things can add up to a pretty serious tab. Second, I personally think the crowd here is pretty annoying. I know people love that there are "regulars" here, but I kind of get tired of seeing the same people sing the same stuff every time I'm there. The big groups that come here e.g. offices parties or bachelorette parties (the worst) can get quite annoying. Although, this is probably not something unique to Boardwalk 11. But, the main problem with this place is that on the weekend, the wait can easily be two hours (I've seen longer). It's kind of tough to sit through people butchering songs for 2+ hours just so you can finally get your one song in. Also, as I think maybe someone alluded to, the big groups that are there seemingly never have a problem getting their songs in. Based on what I've seen, I think it's pretty safe to say that there's some shenanigans going on with the waiting list
Came because i saw them on gordon Ramseys show. They clearly didn’t listen lol
It's all good except I paid 20usd (with tip that I don't regret because waiter is cool) for a churros Sunday that I assumed was going to be a tad more expensive than the two other desserts (5 and 6 dollars). At the most you would expect the churros Sunday to equate to the summation of churros (5usd) and Sunday (6usd), but not, it was 16usd. I know it's LA and y'all trying to make your fair share of money but this is so outrageously expensive and makes no sense. Too bad I liked the place but paying this much for such a trivial dessert is insulting.
Very sad that I feel the need to write this review. My friends and I have been coming here for years and for a while it was considered our second home. We’ve spent countless weekends and some weekdays here building community, singing our hearts out, and overall enjoying our time. For a long time we described this place as having a magic energy to it because there was such a strong sense of community and everyone always felt welcomed. However, something shifted in the last six months and this place has become intolerable. I’m not sure if there was a management change or what, but the overall vibe of this place has completely shifted. It went from feeling like a 3rd space for the Palms community to becoming an exclusive hang out for the owners and their friends. The new DJ is awful and incredibly rude, not to mention his drunk girlfriend tried to physically fight my friends in the parking lot and the drunk girlfriend ended up driving off and almost hit another car while speeding out of the parking lot. All of this happened in front of the owner who then told us that were the problem… Paying, regular customers who have been coming here for years and have never had any issues. Such a shame. Something else we noticed is that we haven’t seen the majority of regulars we used to see every weekend. Maybe everyone is feeling the shift? Sad. I truly hope Boardwalk gets back to the energy it used to have. For now, my friends and I won’t be returning.
It was justs ok. My friends had a night out come here to karaoke and we filled out the paper to sing karaoke. There were only like 5 people in bar. But as soon as the the location people start coming in the karaoke guy had them all sing first. Didn't call on us til like 4 hours later. No cool. Overall it's was justs ok. But drinks are yummy 😋
I took my mom here for her birthday, they started of welcoming but when we sat down . We were informed we had to pay $15 a drink for a ticket to sing karaoke. They were rude about it. The bartender continued to come clean our table implying for us to leave , after buying food and several drinks. Then the DJ said we had to write our request down but when others came he allowed them to just say their request and never called us to sing again:We left feeling very uncomfortable.
Their alcohol is really bad and may be adulterated. We only got 1 drink per person and the next day EVERYONE felt very sick and nauseous, which never happens with 1 drink. Also, the DJ rudely refused to play our 4th song. We asked for 4 songs, we were 4 people, and it’s one song per person…but somehow he decided he didn’t want to give us all of our songs
I came to do two things...spend money on food and drink, and do some karaoke. The sleazeball DJ will skip you indefinitely if you dont give him cash (sorry, my card was at the bar). I caught him let the 50-something child predators skip to the front of the line for that sweet payola. F you, chump. You dont have a shred of decency. Bartenders all look like they want to kill themselves. I dont need even OK service...you could even spit in my face for all I care...all I want is the chance GIVE YOU MONEY in exchange for your goods. Its really not that hard and the place was empty. First and last visit to a depressing loserville. If you arent a local you are invisible. Free drinks being poured to buddies on the owners dime in exchange for a crisp 20. How do you leave a bar thirsty? This joint is pathetic and sad for all ages.
Came here about two months ago, the drinks were good the staff seem disconnected. The food was mediocre at best. The restaurant was dirty and I'm afraid to see what the kitchen looks like. I didn't realize that this was on a Gordon Ramsay show which now makes it more of a disappointment
Never been there but im rating it cause Gordon ramsay takes time out of his life and uses money he makes front the show to pay for renovations and the owner just didn't stuck to anything and I don't think it's right or fair at all he reversed everything and also went backwards fired the head chef she had great potential and even Gordon ramsay thought so
Sad to see he couldn't listen to Gordon Ramsy. As an autistic female, I don't feel safe being here without a male with me, or bringing children or other females here. Should be shut down.
Watched the ‘Gordon Ramsey 24hrs to Hell and Back’ so I was curious how this place is surviving. I hope both Kats will get a better job offer elsewhere. This is by far the most undeserving place. I would certainly not support this restaurant with an owner that doesn’t respect women, re-hire guys who bad mouth women & demoted staff who has potential to grow. Guys, just stop supporting this place & I hope the food is still fresh...
This place is horrible. Food was nasty and tasted old. Wish I could give 0 stars. My husband got food poisoning. The owner is the lowest of low humans. Has no respect. Doesn't do anything but act like a jerk. Save yourself and NEVER even think about going. You can karaoke somewhere way better I promise.
I am so disappointed in this place. I came here because of the show and it went all down hill. Display and everything was great and the music but the food has gone downhill. I seen roaches crawling and I feel like it just got more terrible over time. The most horrific experience happened when I found a small bug in my food. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!
Meh. I was there a few weeks ago and the Karaoke which was supposed to be fun was overrun with morons who took it WAY TOO SERIOUSLY making snide comments at those who were not MARIAH CAREY saying things like "OH GOD" or "TERRIBLE" out load when they didn't like a set. It was a bit too high school for me an took the fun out of it...
i was visiting LA and decided to pay boardwalk eleven a visit as i heard good things well what a DISSAPOINTMENT !! Starting with Steve the owner who was extremely rude and impolite i over heard a conversation between him and one of the chefs talking trash about a staff member named Kat !!! Now on to the food wouldn’t even feed it to my dog, burger was extremely over cooked and dry with the fries almost like i was eating them frozen after waiting 60 minutes for this horrific meal that i wouldn’t even call a meal and seeing mouse droppings all over the floor i got steve’s attention to make him aware of this and was told by him (if you like it lady then leave ) to which i did refusing to pay the check as i was leaving boardwalk11 Steve hollarad down the street don’t come back I CAN ASSURE YOU I WONT BE BACK AND EVERYONE STAY CLEAR OF THIS PLACE ITS UNHYGIENIC !!!!!!!
It was Okay, food was burnt and dry, had to remake twice. Doesn’t seem like there’s a great leadership team.
Burger was way overcooked and cold. When I complained, server was unprofessional. Fries tasted like the oil hadn't been changed in months. Nasty. Could only eat 2 fries. I won't be back. Seems like most of the good reviews are for the Karaoke, not the food.
This is not a good place for karaoke. You have to pay to sing. PER DRINK. The bartender charged me for the largest size instead of the smaller size like I wanted. Then when I finally got to sing, the guy wouldn't let me pick the version I wanted even though I WROTE THE EXACT VERSION I WANTED ON THE SLIP OF PAPER THEY GIVE YOU. There are so many better places you could sing at for free.
The bartender and manager are fools. They shouldn't have a karaoke bar. Don't expect karaoke people to pay your rent. I was told by the bartender and. manager I have to buy a drink. Then bartender told me I had to spend money there in order to get a ticket. I told him I was sober. You mean I have to buy 3 tall pineapple juices in order to sing 3 songs? I go to many other bars and don't have to do this. They should sell their bar and have someone else run it. The reason the bar exists is because of alcoholics during the week because Noone is there. I and my friends will not be returning.
If I could rate this any lower, I would. The bartender tried charging me more than I consumed. He thought that because me and my sister were ordering in pairs, I was drinking. Little did he know I was DD and was aware of what we were ordering. My sister brought up the fact that he didn't ask for a CC to keep tab so, after so many customers, how is he keeping up with what I'm consuming? I found it interesting and kept up on my phone. We decided to change that last drink to see what he would charge. Sure enough, he over charges 4 additional beers. When he notices me looking at the receipt, he stops me and tells me "you don't have to count, believe me, I promise you, I'm charging you correctly." He refused to give me his name and claims to be the manager. So many reviews on this place are horrible. I wish I did my research beforehand. I suggest you do.
Terrible service. The restaurant is nice, but the staff is unhelpful. My family and I waited 36 minutes, and when the food came, it was dry and slightly sour. Unpleasant.
Great vibes and beer but absolutely horribly disappointed on the size of the pizza. It was dank but for $20 it was literally like 8 inches wide. A wee bit smaller than the personal pizzas at Pizza Hut. Do not recommend at all
just honestly wasn't worth it, been to many other places where you get more bang for your buck and in this economy getting the food i was served was in the best terms possible. horrendous.
The owner has no business owning a restaraunt. His staff is ridiculous and the food is absolutely horrible. I wanted to try it after I saw Gordon Ramsey do a makeover and help them. What a waste of a talented chefs help. This place should just do the food world a favor and close its doors
